通过校本研修,我对英语教学有了新的认识。

首先,新课程理念标准认为,课程不是教材,教学也不是简单的“知识灌输”的过程。

真正的教学过程,应当以学生为中心,让学生成为课堂的主人。

下面我谈谈英语校本研修的意义。

1.对自我的重新认识。

研修使我的思想有了一个新的转变,作为一位英语教师,必须具有渊博的英语知识,熟练的操作技能,良好的思维品质,流利的英语口语。

在英语的探究过程中,教师不再把英语知识的传授作为自己的主要教学任务和目的,也不再把主要精力花费在检查学生对知识掌握的程度上,而是以学生为中心,不仅教会学生课本知识,还要注意情感态度的教学,让学生不仅学会知识,还要学会做人。

2.教学方法的改变。

过去的在英语教学中总是老师讲,学生记。

教师是课堂的主角,学生是听众,学生自由练习很少,口语、听力非常差。

现在我们要转变这种模式,在课堂上以学生为主体,把主动权还给学生。

那么怎样才能使学生在课堂中处于主体地位,提高学习效率呢?(1)在教学中应把时间和空间多留给学生。

在英语课堂教学过程中,教师应创建和谐的学习氛围,以激发学生的学习兴趣为切入点,从学生的实际水平出发,在新课标的教学理念指导下,运用小组合作方式,来提高英语课堂教学的有效性,从而促进学生知识能力的全面提高。

合作学习前给学生独立思考的时间。

没有独立思考就进行合作学习,合作学习将流于形式,质量不高。

有准备的讨论交流,才可能是高质量的交流。

提出一个探究性的问题,给学生思维空间;给学生自主学习的时间和空间。

在课堂教学中,时间是最重要的学习资源。

一个教师对时间如何分配,直接反映这个教师的教学观。

探究的问题性、实践性、参与性和开放性决定了探究学习必须有充分的自主学习时间,否则就是一句空话。

(2)精心设计教学环节,激发学生学习的主动性。

学生学习的主动性主要在于老师的调动。

在学生消除心理障碍后,就需要老师精心设计教学的各个教学环节,设计模仿、会话、口、笔头操练、提问,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,激活学生的思维,激起学生的情感,使学生全身心地投入到英语教学活动中。

虽然我们的教学条件有限,但我们可以根据实际运用实物、自制教具来使课堂形象生动。

(3)利用学生的差异,采用分层教学。

这次感触很深的是分层教学的理念,以前在课堂上对学生总是采用统一的要求,这样对于差一点的学生由于听不懂,便在课堂上做小动作,产生厌学情绪,学习效率很低,如果采用分层教学,那么每个学生都有自己能力范围内的任务,通过完成任务可以建立学生的信心,并且可以提高学习英语的兴趣。

3.教师以学生的英语学习为中心,扎实抓好课堂教学,让学习落到实处。

现在很时髦的提法就是以“学生为中心”,认为应把学习的主动权交给学生。

但是对于有些连英语的皮毛都尚未闹懂且情绪极易波动的初中学生来说,他们很少有人知道教学的重难点,很少有人掌握得了学习内容的深度和广度,所以我个人觉得课堂的主动权还是应该属于老师的,老师来安排和调节课堂教学活动,监控教学过程。

总之本次培训活动丰富多彩,内容充实,效果较好。

尤其是是专家们在具体的授课过程中,都是用现代教育的思想,站在培养学生英语素养的高度来认真分析教材,从确定教学目标入手,重点研讨如何使用材料引导学生的探究活动,难点放在选择适应探索活动的教学方法上。

整个活动中我们最大的收获就是学会了
研究、学会了讨论,特别是研讨气氛异常活跃,好多好的点子,在思维的碰撞过程中应运而生,这次培训可以说是英语教学上的一次盛会,大家相互探讨、畅所欲言。
