2018届八校联考英语参考答案
录音原文
Text 1
M: Now Mrs. Snow, what can you remember about the attack?
W: Well, I was on my way home when a man wearing a stocking hit me on the head.
Text 2
M: If we take the shortest route, we may come across a traffic jam. If we take a less heavier route, it will save us 10 or more minutes, but we’ll have to pay more.
W: That’s acceptable. No one wants to waste time.
Text 3
W: Have you checked your car? And did you pack the map and food?
M: I’ve got everythin g ready, and I bet it will be a fantastic journey. Text 4
W: Dick, if you can finish your homework before 6:00, I will take you to the cinema.
M: I’m sure I can. But I’d like to go to the park to play football. W: OK. But you must return home before 8:00.
Text 5
W: Why do you move to another city?
M: I just want to have a chance of working in a different place where there are more challenges.
W: You could consider applying for a different position in your company. Text 6
M: I was thinking of starting my own business. I know you wanted me to take over your restaurant business, but I can’t stand working in the food
industry.
W: OK. But what do you really want to do?
M: I want to sell skateboards, clothing, and shoes.
W: ⑦You want to run a clothing shop?
M: ⑦Yeah.
W: What would make your shop different from all the others?
M: I thought we could make our own T-shirts. Maybe you and dad could lend me some money first.
W: Sounds OK to me, but you’ll have to talk to your dad about this, too. Text 7
W: Paul, are you in bed yet?
M: Er, yes, Mom. Well, I’m not quite in bed yet, but I’m ready to get in. ⑧I just want to finish my computer game first.
W: Paul, stop playing on that computer and get into bed this minute! It’s half past ten and you’ll have to be up early tomorrow morning.
M: I suppose you’re right, Mom. The field trip starts at half past eight.
⑨I’ll set my alarm clock for a quarter past six so that I have plenty of time to go to school.
W: Good idea. It would be terrible if the monitor of the class arrived late for the first outdoor activity this term, wouldn’t it?
M: Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll get up as soon as I hear the alarm.
Text 8
W: ⑩Hello, this is Barbara. Who’s that?
M: ⑩Hi, Barbara. This is Wesley. Have you finished reading that book yet? W: No, I’m not even halfway through. I’m busy with homework for my English class.
M: OK, but I need it back soon. It’s not mine. It’s my sister’s, actually. W: All right, I’ll try and finish it as soon as possible. When does she need it back?
