emma关于女权问题的联合国演讲第一篇:emma关于女权问题的联合国演讲Emma Watson: Gender equality is your issue too Date: 20 September 2014 I was appointed six months ago and the more I have spoken about feminism the more I have realized that fighting for women‟s rights has too often become synonymous with man-hating.If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that this has to stop. For the record, feminism by definition is: “The belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes.”I started questioning gender-based assumptions a long time ago. When at eight I was confused at being called “bossy,” because I wanted to direct the plays we would put on for our parents—but the boys were not. When at 14 I started to be sexualized by certain elements of the media. When at 15 my girlfriends started dropping out of their sports teams because they didn‟t want to appear “muscle.”When at 18 my male friends were unable to express their feelings.I decided that I was a feminist and this seemed uncomplicated to me.But my recent research has shown me that feminism has become an unpopular word.Women are choosing not to indentify as feminists.Apparently I am among the ranks of women whose expressions are seen as too strong, too aggressive, isolating, anti-men and unattractive, even. Why is the word such an uncomfortable one? I am from Britain and think it is right that as a woman I am paid the same as my male counterparts.I think it is right that I should be able to make decisions about my own body.I think it is right that women be involved on my behalf inthe policies and decision-making of my country.I think it is right that socially I am afforded the same respect as men.But sadly I can say that there is no one country in the world where all women can expect to receive these rights. No country in the world can yet say they have achieved gender equality. These rights I consider to be human rights but I am one of the lucky ones.My life is a sheer privilege because my parents didn‟t love me less because I was born a daughter. My school did not limit me because I was a girl.My mentors didn‟t assume I would go less far because I might give birth to a child one day. These influencers were the gender equality ambassadors that made me who I am today. They may not know it, but they are the inadvertent feminists who are changing the world today. And we need more of those. And if you still hate the word—it is not the word that is important but the idea and the ambition behind it.Because not all women have been afforded the same rights that I have.In fact, statistically, very few have been.In 1997, Hilary Clinton made a famous speech in Beijing about women‟s rights.Sadly many of the things she wanted to change are still a true today.Because the reality is that if we do nothing it will take 75 years, or for me to be nearly a hundred before women can expect to be paid the same as men for the same work.15.5 million Girls will be married in the next 16 years as children. And at current rates it won‟t be until 2086 before all rural African girls can have a secondary education. If you believe in equality, you might be one of those inadvertent feminists that I spoke of earlier. And for this I applaud you.We are struggling for a uniting word but the good news is we have a uniting movement. It is called “He for She”.I am inviting you to step forward, to be seen and to ask yourself “if not me, who? If not now, when?”Thank you.6个月前,我被任命为任联合国妇女署亲善大使。

女权主义英文英文作文

女权主义英文英文作文英文,As a feminist, I believe in the equality of the sexes and the empowerment of women. Feminism is not about hating men or putting women above men, but rather about advocating for equal rights and opportunities for all genders. 。

I believe that women should have the right to make their own choices about their bodies, careers, and lives without facing discrimination or judgement. For example, I have a friend who was told by her family that she couldn't pursue a career in engineering because it was a "man's job." However, she didn't let this stop her and she is now a successful engineer, breaking stereotypes and inspiring other women to pursue their passions.I also believe in the importance of education and awareness when it comes to feminism. We need to educate both men and women about the issues that women face, such as sexual harassment, pay inequality, and lack ofrepresentation in leadership roles. By raising awareness and having open discussions, we can work towards creating a more inclusive and equal society for everyone.中文,作为一个女权主义者,我相信男女平等和女性的赋权。

Feminism女权主义演讲稿

Feminism女权主义演讲稿

Feminism女权主义演讲稿第一篇:Feminism女权主义演讲稿Feminism 袁Good morning, everyone. It’s my honor to stand here to give a presentation to you all.As you know, recently, Hillary Clinton has just announced that she would campaign for 2016 president of America. So that we find out the status of women in politics increased significantly. So there comes a new conception, feminism. And today, our group will introduce you this, maybe to you, strange topic.S o our presentation has 3 parts, and I’m in charge of the first.Perhaps you would ask,why we talk about feminism? What’s the importance of that? I want to tell you a story. In 2012,December 16th,a college girl named Joyti Singh from new Delhi, the capital of India, went in a personal bus at 9 o’clock, after watching a movie, with a male friend.Just in this horrible bus , unfortunately, she was raped by 6 men and they even tortured her. Then she died soon in a hospital. After she died, however, one of criminal s aid like that, you can’t clap with one hand.It takes two hands to clap.A decent girl won’t roam around at 9 o’clock at night.A girl is far more responsible for rape than a boy. This girl was only 23 years old. This event set off a huge protest.People prayed for her and fight for the justice and woman’s right.Joyti Singh was then called India’s daughter. We can’t help thinking, why could such a thing happen in this civilized world? What’s exactly the meaning of a woman? Moreover, a more inhuman act still exist in some parts of Africa, which is female circumcision. This brutal act brings a lot of hurt to young women. That’s why we talk about feminism. So what’s the feminism? Please have my partner continue.Thank you.王Now, as you see, this symbol represents feminism. It is based on Venus symbol.A Venus symbol is just like this. And there is a fist in the central, which means woman’s right. So how does feminism develop in history? Firstly, let’s look at western feminism. In the history of human society, the concept of human rights has been 200 years of history, but it does not include the feminist. We all know that there is quite a lot empresses in western history. So maybe status of women in the west is higher. In 1971, a great woman, Olympe de Gouges who wrote thedeclaration of rights of woman appealed for feminism initialy. And then, there came more feminist literatures. As known, Jane Austin and Bronte sisters. They are female writers and wrote books about women mainly.Jane Austin wrote Pride and prejudice.Jane Eyre, Gone with wind and Wuthering Heights by brontes.Until 19,20 century, women started the feminist movement and to fight for political rights. Many countries won the rights of vote for women. And now, we are all familiar with the iron lady, Margaret Thatcher and Hillary Clinton. While back in China, feminism has a tougher development. This is our ancient women and what they believed in.Maybe ridiculous for now, right? We did have some powerful women, like 吕后,武则天,慈禧.But they were not accepted by the traditional views of society. After 1912, as society developed, feminism improved a lot, too.Women started to aquire education and advanced ideas. So we know such a lot progressive females, such as Song sisters, Qiujin and so on.And then, how is feminism like today? I’d love to let my another partner to introduce.Thank you all.贾Thank my partners for paving the way for me.From their presentation, you may get a general idea about feminism. However, you may ask, we are living in this relativelystable community, we girls don’t really w orry about go out at night or horrible bodily harm. And historic great women have strived for lots of rights.Maybe we are satisfied. We don’t need feminism at all.But does not female discrimination really exist in China? Actually, our fights for women are not enough yet.Since ancient times, women are not allowed to take part in politics.Even now, men has an absolute advantage in politics.Furthermore, woman’s career is harder than men’s all the time. What’s more, the social status of woman is always below that of man.In our culture, while a high-educated woman is under the pressure of public opinion. Why do people have a total different attitude towards a man and a woman who are in the same situation. We always pay attention to leftover women but never say leftover men.Similarly, social perspective to a woman who has a successful career is more in her personal life, maybe her unsuccessful marriage, instead of her work. Are women only able to help the husband and take care of children at home? I think it is right that women should get as same respect as men.But sadly I can say that there is no one country in the world where all women can expect to receive these rights.Do you guys know her? This is Emma Watson.Perhaps you don’t.But you must know this. And now, she is a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. And she launched a campaign called “HeForShe” in 2014,which is a wide feminism movement. She points out that the definition of feminism is: “The belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes.”In my opinion, the biggest obstacle of Chinese feminism is women ourselves. We girls are supposed to clearly recognize the importance of struggle for feminism and really do something forit. Also, boys—I would like to take this opportunity to invite your join.Gender equality is your issue too.We want to try and encourage as many men and boys as possible to be advocates for gender equality.I suppose you guys, boys or girls, would believe the equality and freedom. You are going to be fathers and mothers. You are going to teach your children. You have the responsibility to tell next generation that whether you are a boy or a girl, you should fight for a uniting and equal world! That’s all what I want to say. Thanks for your listening.Thank you all.第二篇:Feminism女权主义FeminismGood morning, ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech!T o begin with.I want to ask two questions.Do you think men and women are equal? And have you heard feminism? I started questioning fender-based assumption when at ten I was told to be a tender girl because I always play the gun with boys intead of those beautiful dolls. When I was 14, I started to be sexualized by certain elements of the media. At 15, my girlfriends started dropping out of a lot of sports teams because they didn’t want to appear masculine. So today I’d like to talk to you about feminism. What is feminism? Feminism is a collection of movements aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, and social rights and equal opportunities for women. But sadly, I can say that there is no one country in the world where all women can expect to receive these rights. No country in the world can yet say that they have achieved gender equality. These rights, I considered to be human rights, but I am one of the lucky ones.My life is a sheer privilege because my parentsdidn’t love me less because I was born a daughterMy school did not limit mebecause I was a girl.My mentors didn’t assume that I would go less far because I might give birth to a child one day. These influences were the gender equality ambassadors that made me who I am today. They may not know it but they are the inadvertent feminists who are changing the world today. We need more of those. We don’t want to talk about men being imprisoned by gender stereo types but I can see that theyare. When they are free, things will change for women as a natural consequence. If men don’t have to be aggressive in order to be accepted, wo men won’t be compelled to be submissive. If men don’t have to control, women won’t have to be controlled. Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive, both men and women should be free to be strong. It is time that we all see gender as a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals. If we stop defining each other by what we are not andstart defining ourselves by who we are, we can allbe freer and this is what “HeForShe” is about. It’s about freedom.I want men to take up this mantle, so their daughters, sisters and mothers can befree from prejudice. But also so their sons have permission to be vulnerable and human, too.We claim those part of themselves they abandoned, and in doing so, be a more true and complete version of themselves.第三篇:女权主义~Women throughout the ages have protested the limitations imposed on their lives by social, political, and religious institutions. In the fifth century, Hypatia, an influential Roman scholar, sought a reawakening of female dignity and power;in the fifteenth century Christine de Pisan chronicled the achievements of women and instigated a debate across Europe on women’s equality;two centuries later Anna van Schuman, a Dutch woman, wrote books in support of women’s education. In the American colonies, Abigail Adams lobbied her husband, John, to “remember the ladies” as the American Revolution raged on in the name of equality for all men.Soon after, in England in 1792, Mary Wollstonecraft was writing the feminist tract A Vindication of the Rights of Woman. But the first wave of modern feminism is usually declared to have begun in 1848, with 100 women and men at the Seneca Falls Convention. There, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott threw down the gauntlet for women’s suffrage;afterward, feminist Susan B.Anthony joined Stanton to lead the movement.Neither womanas well as long-term active feminists themselves—is bringing an ever-broadening perspective to the bargaining table of women’s rights. These women have been delving into some of the early feminist thoughts on the patriarchal structure underlying all modern political, social, and cultural constructs, and they include the problems of racism and classism in their analyses. This generation too, accustomed to contemplating systems(such as ecosystems)and not just the individual factor, is looking at the entire system, from home to work to voting booth to religious institution. Many are questioning why women are expected to adapt to a world created by men. Many are lobbying for an adaptation that goes both ways. And many are rejecting society’s old definitions of what it means to be a woman and replacing them with their own definitions, remembering feminist Mary Daly’s admonition that the right to define is power. In this generation, women are studying at West Point and winning Rhodes scholarships, and they expect to earn equal pay for equal work. This is the Title IX generation, women who grew up with the opportunity to join Little League teams, to play in soccer leagues, and who had access to school basketball and volleyball courts and to softball diamonds. This generation looks out at a world of women surfing alongside men, a powerful third wave.在整个年龄的妇女提出抗议给他们的生活带来的限制社会、政治和宗教的人们。

女权主义的英文作文英文,。

Feminism is a movement that advocates for gender equality and the rights of women. It aims to challenge and break down the societal norms and stereotypes that have restricted women's opportunities and freedoms. As a woman, I strongly believe in the principles of feminism and the need for equal representation and treatment in all aspects of life. One of the main issues that feminism addresses is the gender pay gap. Women are often paid less than men for doing the same job, which is a clear violation of their rights. This not only affects their financial stability but also their sense of self-worth and value in society. For example, my friend who works in the same position as her male colleague, but receives a lower salary, feels undervalued and demotivated at work.Another issue that feminism tackles is theobjectification of women in the media and popular culture. Women are often portrayed as sexual objects, whichreinforces the idea that their worth is based on their appearance rather than their abilities or achievements. This can lead to unrealistic beauty standards and body shaming, which can have a negative impact on women's mental health and self-esteem. For instance, I have seen how my sister struggles with body image issues due to the constant pressure to conform to societal beauty standards. In addition, feminism also addresses the issue ofgender-based violence and harassment. Women are often subjected to physical, verbal, and emotional abuse simply because of their gender. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed through education, awareness, and legal action. For example, a friend of mine was sexually harassed by her boss, which made her feel unsafe and uncomfortable at work.Overall, feminism is a crucial movement that aims to promote gender equality and empower women. It is important for everyone to support this cause and work towards a morejust and equal society.中文:女权主义是一种倡导性别平等和女性权利的运动。

女权演讲稿英文

女权演讲稿英文

女权演讲稿英文Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, members of the press, and fellow advocates for gender equality,Good evening! I am honored to stand before you today to address a topic close to my heart - women's rights. In today's modern world, where progress and development has become synonymous with our achievements, it is disheartening to see that gender inequality still persists. It is high time that we reaffirm our commitment to securing equal rights and opportunities for women everywhere.Firstly, it is important to acknowledge the progress that has been made in the fight for gender equality. Women have gained the right to vote, access to education, and opportunities to partake in the workforce. These achievements are commendable, but we must not forget that our work is far from over.Despite these advancements, women continue to face discrimination in various aspects of their lives. They often earn less than their male counterparts for doing the same job, face barriers to professional advancement, and are underrepresented in positions of power. It is unacceptable that in the 21st century, women are still being undermined and undervalued in the workforce. Moreover, gender-based violence remains a pervasive issue. Women and girls around the world are subjected to physical, sexual, and emotional abuse on a daily basis. We cannot allow this violence to perpetuate any longer. It is our duty as a society to protect and uplift women, ensuring their safety and well-being.Education also plays a vital role in achieving gender equality. Girls have the right to pursue an education, just like their male peers. Access to quality education empowers women to break free from the shackles of gender stereotypes and become leaders in their respective fields. Investing in girls' education is not only the right thing to do, but it is also an investment in the future of our society.Furthermore, it is essential to challenge harmful gender norms and stereotypes that perpetuate inequality. Society must recognize that men and women are equally capable of pursuing any career or aspiration they desire. We must dismantle the notion that certain jobs or positions are exclusive to one gender, and instead promote inclusivity and equal opportunities for all.To achieve gender equality, we must actively involve men and boys in the conversation. Engaging them as allies is crucial in challenging the patriarchal norms that hold women back. Together, we can create a society that values and respects women, where opportunities are not determined by one's gender but by one's abilities and merits. In conclusion, achieving gender equality is a goal that requires collective effort. It is not a battle that can be fought by women alone, but one that requires the active involvement of both genders. Let us stand together and work towards a future where every woman is empowered to reach her full potential, free from discrimination and violence. Together, we can build a world that is truly equal for all.Thank you.。

In order to answer this question, girls, we must realize where we are now.In the summer holiday, I attended my older sister's wedding.During her speech what an old lady said was very impressive. She said that women's status has been improved notably since in the ancient times women are not allowed to say a word in the wedding.Yes, I do confess.Women's status has been improved.Yet does it mean that man and women are totally equal? Of cause not.We must realize that there is still a mountain of sexist convinced that women are 60% of a person.Unfair treatment toward women can be found in many spheres. In the occupational area, there is a tragic barrier that closes the door on women.Luckily, some women overcome all the difficulty in the way, but limited tear-drenched money makes them inferior than man, and women are always the first one to be considered in the layoffs and cutbacks. As for the education, a statistic shows that city man's schooling level is generally higher than women. This situation is even worse in the country area. But what makes man's hair stand on end is about the housework.Man thinks it is an unalterable principle that women do the housework.Obviously, old cultural suicide is drinking women's blood. However, we cannot sit still waiting for death. We must rise up with a firm sense of self-esteem and say to ourselves and to the world, “I am a person I am a queen”.We must study hard and work hard to improve the condition of women. We must try our best to create a bright tomorrow that man and women are equal!

Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. Today, I stand before you to talk abouta crucial issue that has been affecting our society for centuries: gender inequality. We have come a long way, but there is still much work to be done to achieve true gender equality. In this speech, I will discuss the importance of gender equality, the challenges we face, and the steps we can take to promote a more equitable world.Firstly, let's define what we mean by gender equality. Gender equality refers to the equal rights, responsibilities, and opportunities of women and men in all aspects of life. This includes economic, political, social, and cultural spheres. Gender equality is not just a women's issue; it is a human rights issue that affects everyone. The importance of gender equality cannot be overstated. A world where men and women are treated equally is a more just and prosperous world. Gender equality can lead to:1. Economic growth: When women have equal access to education, employment, and entrepreneurship, they can contribute to the economy in significant ways. According to the World Bank, if women were to participate in the labor force at the same rate as men, global GDP could increase by 26% by 2030.2. Healthier societies: Gender equality can lead to better health outcomes for both men and women. When women have access to reproductive health services and can make decisions about their bodies, they are more likely to lead healthy lives. Additionally, gender equality can lead to better child nutrition and health.3. Stronger communities: Gender equality can lead to more stable and peaceful societies. When women have a voice in decision-making processes, communities are more likely to be inclusive and resilient.Despite the many benefits of gender equality, we still face significant challenges. Here are some of the main issues:1. Pay gap: Women are still paid less than men for doing the same work. According to the World Economic Forum, the global gender pay gap is 23%, and it will take another 99.5 years to close it at the current rate.2. Gender-based violence: Women and girls around the world continue to face violence and discrimination, including domestic violence, sexual harassment, and female genital mutilation.3. Lack of representation: Women are underrepresented in leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. This lack of representation can lead to a lack of diverse perspectives and hinder progress. So, what can we do to promote gender equality? Here are some steps we can take:1. Education: Education is key to achieving gender equality. By ensuring that girls have equal access to education, we can empower them to make informed decisions about their lives and contribute to their communities.2. Economic empowerment: We need to ensure that women have equal access to economic opportunities, including employment, entrepreneurship, and credit.3. Policy change: Governments need to implement policies that promote gender equality, such as equal pay laws, parental leave policies, and measures to address gender-based violence.4. Cultural change: We need to challenge harmful stereotypes and promote positive images of women in media and society.5. Men's involvement: Men have a crucial role to play in promoting gender equality. By supporting women's rights and challenging harmful gender norms, men can help create a more equitable world. In conclusion, gender equality is a vital issue that affects us all. By working together, we can overcome the challenges we face and create a more just and prosperous world. Let us embrace gender equality and take the necessary steps to make it a reality.Thank you.。

艾玛作为联合国妇女署的全球亲善大使,发起了名为“Impact 10X10X10”的倡议,该倡议将成为全球行动“HeForShe”的重要部分。

艾玛沃特森女权演讲稿Since HeForShe launched in New York last September, I think it would be fair to say that my colleagues and I have been stunned by the response. The HeForShe conference was watched over 11 million times, sparking billion social media conversations, culminating in the #HeForShre hashtag becoming so popular that Twitter painted it on the walls of its headquarters. And men from almost every country in the world signed up to our commitment.Everyone, from Desmond Tutu to Prince Harry to Hillary Clinton to Yoko Ono have iued their support or contacted us since September 20th.Everything from marathons being run, merchandise being created, 15-year-old boys writing to national newspapers deploring female discrimination, young girls collecting hundreds of signatures – it’s all happened in the last four months.I couldn’t have dreamed it, but it’s happened.Thank you so much.Thank you so much for watching and thank you so much for your support. So what is IMPACT 10x10x10? It’s about engaging governments, businees, and universities and having them makeconcrete commitments to gender equality. But I want to hear from the human beings that are behind these organizations.I spoke about some of my story in September; what are your stories?Girls, who have been your mentors? Parents, did you make sure you treated your children equally? If so, how have you done it?Husbands, have you been supporting your female partner privately so she can fulfill her dreams too?Young men, have you spoken up in a conversation when a woman was casually degraded or dismied? How did this affect you? How did this affect the woman you stepped up for?Busine men, have you mentored, supported, or engaged women in leadership positions? Writers, have you challenged the language and imagery used to portray women in the media?CEOs: Have you implemented the women’s empowerment principles in your own company? What change have you seen? Are you someone that has been persuading men to become He for Shes and collecting their signatures for their website? How many have you got?We want to know.We want to hear from you.One of the biggest pieces of feedback I’ve had since my speech is that men and women want to help but they aren’t sure how best to do it.Men say they’ve signed the petition.‘What now?’ The truth is, the ‘what now’ is down to you. What your He for She commitment will be is personal and there is no best way.Everything is valid.Decide what your commitment is, make it public, and then please report back to us on your progre so that we can share your story. We want to support, guide and reinforce your efforts.IMPACT 10x10x10 is about concrete commitments to change, the visibility of these commitments and the measurability of them, too. How has the campaign impacted me so far?I’ve had my breath taken away when a fan told me that since watching my speech she has stopped herself being beaten up by her father.I’ve been stunned by the amount of men in my life that have contactedme since my speech to tell me to keep going, and that they want to make sure that their daughters will still be alive to see a world where women have parity economically and politically. While I would love to claim that uh…this campaign and the results of it are a result of my incredible speech writing skills, I know that it is not.It is because the ground is fertile. It is my belief that there is a greater understanding than ever that women need to be equal participants in our homes, in our societies, in our governments and in our workplaces, and they know that the world is being held back in every way because they are not.Women share this planet 50/50 and they are under –underrepresented, their potential astonishingly untapped. We are very excited to be launching IMPACT 10X10X10 to bring He for She into its next phase. If you’re a He for She, and I’m auming you are because otherwise you’d be in somebody else’s pre conference right now, I’m here to ask YOU: What is the impact you can have? How, what, where, when, and with whom? We want to help.We want to know. And we want to here from you.Thank you very much. /fanwen/1545以上这篇艾玛沃特森女权演讲稿为您介绍到这里,希望它对您有帮助。

6篇关于女权的英语作文6篇关于女权的英语作文篇一:“当今社会女性地位提升”英语作文In ancient times, women were usually considered weak and incapable. No matter in which country, the whole society was controlled by men, which was not changed until the last hundred years. From the beginning of the 20th century, numerous campaigns were launched aimed at winning over the equal rights for women. Since then, women’s status has improved a lot.In the modern world, the fact that women are playing a more and more important role in society has been accepted by most of the people. Now women tend to go out of kitchen and contribute their strength to their career. Actually, they do really very well or even better than men in arts, services, management and many other industries. Giving attention to both family and career, women in the modern world are under much more pressure than before. However, most of them consider it worthwhile.篇二:性别歧视英语作文Women are not equal with menAfter women have made great strides for their rights, leaders gradually realized the necessity to achieve the equality of men and women and as well increasingly countries has put the principle of equality into practice.women are no longer being oppressed at the the bottom of society and even have equal opportunity to rise to leadership positions.however, gender discrimination still exist in insidious form today.Women and men may not dealt with in many field especially in the job market with female graduates affected the most. The figure indicates that more than 90 percent of female students experience gender discrimination in the force labour, while more than 40 percent of believe it is harder for women to get an offer than men. “men only”signs appea red frequently on recruit company, women are are refused by their image of delicate and lack of independent as people considered. So that women always lose many chances in choosing favorable job. Additionally , for same work, women receive lower payment at their job than men. Another statistic shows that women represent 50 percent of middle management and professional positions but the percentages of women at the top of organizations represent not even a third of that number which can not but arouse our thinking why do we have so few women leaderThat’s recessive gender discrimination. In the absence of gender discrimination stress patriarchal society,in order to realize their own value, women must pay double or even several times effort than men. Finally, the ideas that son preference and discrimination against girls took strong root since ancient time, every family continues to have children until they have a boy,if they have a girl, they would like to have another child.Killed, aborted or neglected,at least 100 million girls have disappeared and the number is rising. 英文女权演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen,。

Today, I stand before you to speak about a topic that is close to my heart – the empowerment of women. As we all know, the fight for gender equality has been ongoing for centuries, and while progress has been made, there is still much work to be done. It is time for us to come together and continue the fight for women’s rights, and I believethat through education, empowerment, and advocacy, we can create a more just and equal society for all.First and foremost, education is key in the fight for women’s rights. We must ensure that girls have access to quality education, as it is the foundation for their future success. By providing girls with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, we can break the cycle of poverty and inequality that has held women back for far too long. Education empowers women to make informed decisions about their lives, their bodies, and their futures. It is the first step towards creating a world where women are truly equal to men.Empowerment is another crucial aspect of the fight for women’s rights. We must empower women to take control of their own lives, to speak up for themselves, and to pursue their dreams without fear of discrimination or oppression. This means providing women with the resources and support they need to thrive, whether it be through accessto healthcare, economic opportunities, or leadership roles. When women are empowered, they can become agents of change in their communities and beyond, and this is essential for creating a more just and equal society. In addition to education and empowerment, advocacy is vital in the fight for women’s rights. We must use our voices to speak out against injustice and inequality, and to advocate for policies and laws that protect and promote women’s rights. This means standing up against gender-based violence, fighting for equal pay and opportunities in the workplace, and demanding access to reproductive healthcare. By coming together andadvocating for change, we can create a world where women are truly equal to men in every aspect of life.In conclusion, the fight for women’s rights is far from over, but by focusing on education, empowerment, and advocacy, we can create a more just and equal society for all. It is up to each and every one of us to stand up for women’s rights and to work towards a future where women are truly equal to men. Let us come together and continue the fight for gender equality, because when women succeed, we all succeed.Thank you.。

Christian Dior’s newly appointed creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, is the first female to hold the role at the fashion house. It is obvious to say that she did not shy away from sending a feminist message at her Spring 2017 debut collection. Among her romantic dresses and skirts and fencing inspired suits was a tee shirt reading “We Should All Be Feminists”. The shirt instantly became a hit on The show notes also made a point of explaining how important feminism is to Chiuri: “Feminism is a recurring word for her.”
•1 in 3 women ages 18 to 34 have been sexually harassed at work. 71% of those women said they did not report it. •Sexual harassment is pervasive across industries, but especially in low-wage service jobs. For example, more than 25% of sexual harassment charges filed with the EEOC in the last decade came from industries with service-sector workers. •More than one-third of the world’s countries do not have any laws prohibiting sexual harassment at work—leaving nearly 235 million working women vulnerable in the workplace.

女权英文演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen,。

Good afternoon. Today, I am honored to stand here and speak to you about an issue that is close to my heart: women's rights. The fight for women's rights has been a long and arduous one, and although we have made significant progress, there is still much work to be done. Women around the world continue to face discrimination, oppression, and violence simply because of their gender. This is not only unjust, but it is also a violation of the fundamental human rights that every individual is entitled to.When we talk about women's rights, we are not just talking about the right to vote or the right to work. We are talking about the right to live free from fear of violence, the right to make decisions about our own bodies, the right to receive equal pay for equal work, and the right to have our voices heard and respected. It is important to recognize that the fight for women's rights is not just a women's issue. It is a human rights issue. When women are denied their rights, it affects all of society. It limits the potential of half of the population and perpetuates inequality and injustice. We must all work together to create a world where women are truly equal to men. This means challenging harmful gender norms and stereotypes, supporting policies that promote gender equality, and standing up against discrimination and violence.Education is also key in the fight for women's rights. When girls are educated, they are more likely to marry later, have fewer children, and earn higher wages. They are also more likely to participate in political and economic decision-making, which benefits not only them but also their families and communities. In conclusion, the fight for women's rights is far from over. It requires the commitment and action of all individuals, regardless of gender. We must continue topush for change, challenge injustice, and stand up for the rights of women everywhere. Together, we can create a world where all individuals are truly equal and free.Thank you.。

女权演讲稿英文Ladies and gentlemen,。

Today, I stand before you to speak about a topic that is close to my heart – women's rights. The fight for gender equality has been ongoing for centuries, and while we have made significant progress, there is still much work to be done. As we strive for a more just and equitable society, it is crucial that we continue to advocate for the rights of women in all areas of life.First and foremost, it is important to recognize that women's rights are human rights. Women should have the same opportunities as men in education, employment, and leadership. It is unacceptable that in many parts of the world, women are still denied access to education, forced into early marriage, and subjected to gender-based violence. We must work to dismantle these systems of oppression and create a world where all individuals, regardless of gender, have the chance to thrive. In addition to addressing systemic issues, we must also challenge harmful stereotypes and attitudes towards women. The objectification and sexualization of women in the media perpetuate harmful ideas about gender roles and contribute to a culture of misogyny. We must strive to create a society where women are respected for their intellect, skills, and contributions, rather than judged based on their appearance or adherence to traditional gender norms.Furthermore, it is crucial that we advocate for reproductive rights and healthcare access for women. Every woman should have the right to make decisions about her own body and access to quality healthcare services. This includes access to contraception, safe and legal abortion, and comprehensive sexual health education. By ensuring that women have control over their reproductive health, we empower them to make choices that are best for their own lives and well-being.In the workplace, women continue to face barriers to advancement and equal pay. It is essential that we work towards closing the gender pay gap and promoting policies thatsupport work-life balance and parental leave. Additionally, we must challenge workplace discrimination and harassment, and create environments where women feel safe, respected, and valued. Finally, it is important to recognize that the fight for women's rights intersects with other social justice movements. Women of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities face unique challenges and discrimination, and it is essential that we work towards an inclusive and intersectional approach to advocacy. In conclusion, the fight for women's rights is far from over. It is a fight that requires the dedication and commitment of individuals from all walks of life. By working together to challenge systemic oppression, dismantle harmful stereotypes, and advocate for policy change, we can create a world where all individuals, regardless of gender, have the opportunity to thrive. Thank you.。

女权主义英文演讲稿篇一:艾玛沃特森联合国演讲稿 (中英文对照)艾玛沃特森联合国演讲稿(中英文)Your excellence UN Secretary-General,President of the General Assembly,Executive Director of UN Women,And distinguished guests尊敬的秘书长阁下,大会主席阁下,妇女署执行主任阁下,以及尊贵的来宾们Today we are launching a campaign called HeForShe 今天我们将启动一项HeForShe的倡议活动I am reaching out to you because we need your help,we want to end gender inequality此番演讲是为了获得您的支持,能让我们一道行动,终结性别不平等And to do this,we need everyone involved 实现这个目标需要每个人的参与This is the first campaign of its kind at the UN 这次我们开创了联合国发起的同类活动的先河We want to try to galvanize as many men and boys as possible to be advocates for change, and we don’t just want to talk about it,We want to try and make sure that it’s tangible我们希望能接力号召尽可能多的男人和男孩们,加入到寻求改变的倡导者行列,我们也不想仅仅开出空头支票,我们希望全力以赴,确保达成其实目标I was appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women six months ago,and the more I’ve spoken about feminism, the more I have realized that fighting for women ’s right has too often become synonymous with men-hating六个月前,我被任命为联合国妇女署的亲善大使,但我越是提及女权主义,越是意识到争取女性权益往往跟仇视男性混为一谈If there is one thing I know for certain it is that this has to stop 我十分确信的是,必须停止这种认识For the record feminism by definition is the belief that men and women should have equal rights andopportunities, 在此声明,从定义上来说女权主义是一种信念,认为男女应该具有同等权利和机遇It is the theory of the political economic and social equality of the sexes也是政治经济以及社会的性别平等理论I started questioning gender-based assumptions a long time ago很久之前我就开始质疑种种基于性别的预设When I was 8,I was confused about being called ”bossy”, because I wanted to direct the plays, that we would put on for our parents, but the boys were not 当我8岁时,因为我想编排给家长们的演出就被斥为“专横”,而男孩不会受到同样的指责When at 14,I started to be sexualised by certain elements of the media,当我14岁时,某些媒体开始渲染,我性感化的公众形象When at 15 my girlfriends started dropping out of their beloved sports teams, because they didn’t wantto appear muscle-y当我15岁时,我的女朋友们纷纷退出她们心爱的运动队,因为她们不像看起来肌肉发达When at 18 my male friends were unable to express their feelings当我18岁时,我的男性朋友们无法自如的表达他们的情感I decided that I was a feminist, and this seems uncomplicated to me那时我就决定成为一位女权主义者,对我来说这是件简单明了的事But my recent research has shown me that feminism has become an unpopular word, women are choosing not to identify as feminists.但我近期的调查表明,女权主义已经变为不受欢迎的词汇,女人们不愿意被认为是女权主义者Apparently I am among the ranks of women whose expressions are seen as too strong “too aggressive”,isolating and anti-men,unattractive,even很显然我被列为那类女性,措辞强硬,过于激进,自我封闭一味反对男性,甚至缺乏魅力Why has the word become such an uncomfortable one 为何这个词已经让人如此不适I am form Britain, and I think it is wright that I am paid the same as my male counterparts,I think it is wright that I should be able to make decisions about my own body,I think it is right that women be involved on my behalf in the policies and the decisions that affect my life,I think it is right that socially,I am afforded the same respect as men我来自英国,我认为我应该获得与我男性同行同等的资金待遇,我认为我应该拥有自主支配自己身体的权利,我认为女性应该代表我参与到能影响我生活的政策制定中,我认为在社会上我也能赢得与男性同样的尊重But sadly I can say that there is no one country in the world where all women can expect to receive these country in the world can yet say that they have achieved gender equality, these rights I consider to be human rights 遗憾的是,我可以说世界上任何一个国家的女性群体都未能完全拥有这些权利,至今无一国家能断言,他们已经实现了性别平等,这些权利我认为就是人权But I am one of the lucky ones,my life is a sheer privilege, because my parents didn’t love me less because I was born a daughter,My school did not limit me because I was a girl,my mentor didn’t assume that I would go less far because I might give birth to a child one day但我无疑是幸运的,我一直享受着特殊待遇,因为我的父母并没有因为我身为女儿就减少对我的关爱,我就读的学校也没有因为我是女孩就加以限制,我的导师也没有因为我日后将为人母而对我不予厚望These influencers were the gender equality ambassadors that made me who I am today, they may not know it,but they are the inadvertent feminists,we need more of those and if you still hate the word,it is not the word that is important,it’s the idea and the ambition behind it,because not all women have received the same rights that I fact statistically very few have been这些影响我的人们正如推广性别平等的大使,是他们成就了今天的我,也许他们并没有察觉,但他们就是那些“无心插柳”的女权主义者们。

In 1997 Hillary Clinton made a famous speech in Beijing about women ’s rights,Sadly many of the things that she wanted to change, are still true what stood out for me the most was that less than 30 percent of the audience were male!997年,希拉里克林顿在北京就女性权利发表了一次著名演讲,遗憾的是很多当时她力求改变的情况,在今天任然存在,但我更留意到男性观众少于30%的事实How can we affect change in the world when only half of it is invited or feel welcome to participant in the conversation. 当世界上只有一半人口收到邀请鼓励加入到谈话中,我们又怎能奢望改变这个世界呢Men I would like to take this opportunity to extend your formal information,Gender equality is your issue too男同胞们我想借此机会向你们发出正式邀请,性别平等也是你们的议题Because to date I’ve seen my father’s role as a parent being valued less by society, despite my needing his presence as a child as much as my mother’s因为是指今日,我见证到最为家长,父亲的角色被社会所轻视,尽管孩童时代我需要父母给予同样的关照I’ve seen young men suffering from mental illness unable to ask for help, for fear it would make them less of man ,or less of a man.我看到年轻男性遭受心理疾病的折磨,而无法向外寻求帮助,因为害怕这样看起来不男人,被人瞧不起In fact in the is the biggest killer of man between 20 to 49 eclipsing road accidents, cancer and coronary heart disease事实上在英国,自杀已经成为20到49岁男性的头号杀手,超越交通事故,癌症和冠心病I have seen men made fragile and insecure by a distorted sense of what constitutes male success, mendon’t have the benefits of equality either 我目睹了男人们因为成为成功男人这样偏狭的观念而变得脆弱和缺乏安全感,男人一样没能享受到平等带来的福利We don’t often talk about men being imprisoned by gender stereotypes, but I can see that they are 我们不常谈到男性同样,遭受性别刻板印象的禁锢,但我能察觉到这点When they are free things will change for women as a natural consequence,If men don’t have to be aggressive in order to be accepted, women won’t be compelled to be submissive,if men don;t have to control, women won’t have to be controlled 当他们不受束缚时,女性的状况就会自然而改变,如果男人不需要通过表现攻击性来或得认同,那么女人就不用逼迫自己显得顺从,如果男人没必要实时掌控,那么女人也不需要听命于掌控Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive, both men and women should feel free to be strong不管是男是女都可以放任自己的铭感细腻,不管是男是女都可以培养自己的坚强无畏It is time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals如今我们应该用更大的视野看待性别,而不是两套对立的规范If we should stop defining each other by what we are not and start defining ourselves by who we are,we can all be freer and this is what HeForShe is about,It’s about freedom如果我们能不再通过消减异性的特征来定义自己,而开始正视自己所拥有的一切特质,我们都将变得更自由,这就是HeForShe的意义所在,它与自由息息相关I want men to take up this mantle so their daughters sisters and mothers can be free from prejudice, but also so their sons have permission to be vulnerable and human too我希望男同胞们能传承这样的信念,那么他们的女儿们,姐妹们和母亲们都会免于遭受歧视,同时他们的儿子们也有权利释放自己的脆弱和更人性化的一面We claim those parts of themselves they abandoned and in doing so be a more true and complete version of themselves 我们珍视他们所抛弃掉的那一部分人性我们这样做是为了他们能够保留更为真实和完整的人性You might be thinking who is this Harry Potter girl and what is she doing speaking at the And it’s really good question,I’ve been asking myself the same thing,All I know is that I care about this problem and I want to make it better,And having seen what I’ve seen, and given the chance,I fell it is my responsibility to say something你也许会问,这个哈利波特里的女孩是干嘛的,她怎么会来联合国发表演说,这真是个好问题,我也曾反复问自己同样的问题,我只知道自己确实关心这个问题,也想尽绵薄之力改善现状,既然亲眼见到了这样的现状也获得这样的机会,我自觉有责任说些什么Statesmen Edmund Burke said all that is needed for the forces of evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing 政治家埃德蒙.伯克曾说过邪恶压制正义只需要善良的男男女女们坐视不理,无动于衷In my nervousness for this speech and in my momentof doubt,I’ve told myself firmly, if not me,who If not 篇二:艾玛沃特森在联合国女权主义演讲《哈利波特》中赫敏的扮演者、联合国妇女亲善大使艾玛沃森在XX年9月20日纽约联合国总部为“他为她”运动举行的特别活动上的演讲。
