• 21st century is the century of technology.
Nowadays, technology is everywhere around us. In the past, technology, we thought , would make our lives easier. Machines would do our work for us, leaving us spending more time in doing something we like. People thought of technology as a solution to problems, not a creator of them.

The Influence Brought by Computer
• Advantages:
(1)The computer can broaden our knowledge about the world. It can also help us learn more about many fields of studies quickly: science, medicine, arts and so on; (2) Has promoted the communication between our each other, because the computer was really convenient ; (3)It facilitate us to collect the material we need.

• Through systematic study in school,
children can improve the qualities of study;
• They can figure out some information
much easier and better by multifunctional technology

If we depend on modern technology too much, it will bring bad effects especially to children. 如果过分依赖于现代科技，那么它就会给我们，尤其是我们的孩子 带来不良影响。
watching movies, surfing the Internet
and so on, so it bring a lot of fun to us.
• But it also has bad influences on us.
Such as, it has great radiation, which
(1)It can cause many traffic accidents; (2)It can cause air pollution. Its heavy and
unbearable noises are two big threats to city environment; (3)There are so many cars in the street that we waste our time stuck in traffic jams.

(1)The computer can affect our vision, if our long time looks the computer screen, does not let the eye make the suitable rest, like this can affect our vision, brings about the nearsightedness(近视）; (2)It also can affect our studies, many children become so addicted to computer games that they stay up late frequently and even neglect their studies . 5

• It has promoted the communication
between our each other, because the
telephone was really convenient and
portable;
• It has many functions, for example,

Technologically speaking, we assumed that we were leaving old difficulties behind and advancing into a new and more pleasant future. This was only partially true. For us technology did solve old problems, but it also created new ones. These problems are of various types. So I will show you the advantages and disadvantages of technology.
