《综合英语》教学大纲课程名称:综合英语英文译名:An Integrated Course of English课程类别:专业基础课课程学分:总计24学分,每学期计6学分课程学时:总计384学时,分为4学期完成,每学期课堂讲授和课堂实训64学时,自主治学32学时)教学对象:英语专业一、二年级本科生一、课程描述:本课程是为英语专业一、二年级本科生开设的专业基础课程,贯穿英语专业本科教育基础阶段,分四学期完成。

课程的基本目标是全面训练学生的听、说、读、写、译各项基本技能。

教学以应用语言学的“互动假设”为理论基础。

一方面注重为学生提供大量的可理解性输入,教师通过对规范的语言材料进行讲解,传授系统的英语语音、语调、语法、词汇、篇章结构、文化社会等知识,同时引导学生课后精选和阅读与自身语言水平和知识背景相适宜的英语材料,收听和收看经典音像资料;另一方面注重输出的促学作用,要求学生的在课堂和课后以协作的方式需完成大量的口、笔头交际练习,引导他们关注自身英语知识的缺陷,反思语言学习过程。

课程的中层目标在于培养学生的英语交际意愿和跨文化意识。

英语交际意愿是决定学生在存在机会时是否发起和参与交际活动的直接因素;跨文化意识决定学生英语交际活动的效率甚至成败。

本课程教学实施过程中,教师通过鼓励和协助的方式使学生逐步认识到采用英语交际的社会和个体价值,克服学生的消极面子观念,强化交际信心,满足情感需求,直至形成较强的交际意愿。

同时,通过理论传授、案例分析、场景模拟等方式引导学生正视文化差异,形成跨文化意识,明确语言工作者作为文化传播者的身份认同。

课程的高级目标是通过语言文化学习提高学生的批判性思维能力。

教学过程中引导学生对语言和文化事实进行对比、归纳、分析和抽象,注重发掘不同语言文化现象之间的联系,学习建立和检验有关语言文化问题的假设,养成专业意识,为高年级专业基础课程“高级英语”以及专业课程“英语语言学”、“应用语言学”、“英国文学”、“美国文学”、“翻译”等的学习打好基础。

“综合英语”课程教学大纲为指导全国广播电视大学英语专业专科“综合英语”课程教学,特制订本大纲。

大纲的各项规定可以作为“综合英语”课程教学安排与教材编写、教学质量检查和评估的依据。

一、教学对象本大纲的教学对象是中央广播电视大学英语专业专科学生或具有同等水平的参加本课程的自学者。

学生入学时应具有相当于高中毕业的水平,掌握基本的语音语法知识,认知单词约1500个(掌握其中约800个单词的基本用法),并具有听、说、读、写的初步技能。

二、教学目的本课程的教学目的是通过英语语言基础知识(语音、语法、词汇和篇章结构)的学习和听、说、读、写、译基本技能的训练,培养学生运用英语进行交际的综合能力,为全面提高学生的英语水平打好基础,使学生达到高等教育英语专业(专科)的合格标准。

三、教学要求“综合英语”课程安排二学年,分四个学期开设,第一学年开设“综合英语1”、“综合英语2”,第二学年开设“综合英语3”、“综合英语4”。

两学年的具体教学要求如下:第一学年1.听的能力1)能听懂题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本上没有生词、语速为每分钟80-100词的简短对话、谈话、报道或讲座以及英语国家人士的一般交谈和简短谈话,理解大意,抓住要点;2)能用英语做简要笔记,领会讲话者的观点和态度。

2.说的能力1)能就指定的材料进行问答、复述;2)能与英语国家人士进行一般的日常会话;3)能就熟悉的话题经准备后做2—3分钟发言;在完成上述任务时,要求语音、语调比较正确,无重大语法错误,并能比较准确地表达思想。

3.读的能力1)能阅读中等难度的一般性题材的英文材料(包括相应程度英文原作),了解大意,抓住要点和有关细节,并能根据所读材料进行推理分析,领会作者意图;阅读速度为每分钟60─70个词;2)在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能理解大意,领会要点并掌握有关细节,根据上下文和构词法知识推测和判断词义,快速阅读时速度能达到每分钟120-130词。

《综合英语》课程教学大纲学分:13学时:218适用专业:商务英语、应用英语一、课程性质(定位)与任务课程性质:商务英语专业综合英语课程是一门专业理论课程,以传授专业基础理论知识为主要任务,旨在培养具有扎实的英语语言基础和广博的文化知识,为商务英语专业技能课程的学习打下扎实的基础。

21世纪是一个国际化的知识经济时代。

我们培养的英语专业人才应具有扎实的基本功、宽广的知识面、一定的相关专业知识、较强的能力和较高的素质,也就是要在打好扎实的英语基本功的前提下掌握商务方面相关知识。

本教材注重培养学生获取知识的能力、独立思考的能力,提高思想道德教育、文化教育和心理教育。

课程目标:通过本课程系统的学习,培养学生具有扎实的英语基础知识,形成对西方文化的基本认识,并培养学生独立思考的能力以及人文情怀。

同时注重培养学生学以致用的能力,为学生毕业后在各自的岗位进行英语交流打下坚实的基础。

同时为学生通过英语四级考试以及其他资格考试服务。

前导课程:无后续课程:外贸英语函电、商务英语。

二、课程目标知识目标:(一)系统地传播学生所必须掌握的英语基础知识及语言点,训练基本的语言技能及运用能力,为今后学生的英语实际运用打下良好的基础。

(二)培养学生分析和解决问题的能力,培养良好的听、说、写的能力。

(三)在该阶段掌握词汇4000左右,并能进行系统的语法,词汇的辨析。

(四)能独立阅读,听懂各种体裁文章,能写出相当四级水平的作文。

技能目标:培养学生学以致用的能力以及英语交流、表达的能力,具有辩证思维,客观看待中西方文化差异,并在此基础上进行有效地跨文化交流。

素质目标:要求学生具有独立思考的能力,具备人文关怀,对文化差异持包容的态度,客观评价中西文化,能够做到取长补短,最终形成自己对中西方文化的科学认识。

培养学生团队合作、积极主动、谦虚谨慎等职业道德,以及准确、流利地表达自身的观点,尊重他人的观点等交流的能力。

三、教学内容及具体要求本课程涉及语言、文化、习俗、伦理、信息、科学、社会焦点等方面,注重选材的趣味性、信息性、实用性和时代性,题材广泛,体裁多样。

本大纲为《希望英语》book1的教学大纲。

根据英语专业教学规律,将3年的教学过程分为两个阶段,即:基础阶段(一年级和二年级)和高年级阶段(三年级)。

基础阶段的主要教学任务是传授英语基础知识,对学生进行全面的、严格的基本技能训练,培养学生实际运用语言的能力、良好的学风和正确的学习方法,为进入高年级打下扎实的专业基础。

注重培养跨文化交际能力。

在该课程的教学中要注重培养学生对文化差异的敏感性、宽容性以及处理文化差异的灵活性。

加强学生思维能力和创新能力的培养。

该课程教学中要有意识地训练学生分析与综合、抽象与概括、多角度分析问题等多种思维能力以及发现问题、解决难题等创新能力。

在教学中要正确处理语言技能训练和思维能力、创新能力培养的关系,两者不可偏废。
