只能用动词不定式做定语的情况 • 1. 当修饰的名词是ability ambition attempt chance courage desire decision effort failure moment promise right time wish …（一些表 示企图、努力、愿望、打算、能力等意义 的名词）
• 5.当名词与定语间有动宾关 系时。 • I usually have a lot of meetings to attend. • She is a nice person to work with.
• 6.当名词与定语间有主谓关 系时。 • We must find a person to do the job. • We need someone to go and get a doctor.
• 7.当名词与定语有同位 关系时。 • We got the order to leave the city.
• 8.当修饰的名词为抽象名词时. (被修饰词与不定式里的动词不存 在主谓、动宾关系的，被修饰词 多是些抽象名词。) It is time to go to work. • It is my question to answer the question. • This is a difficult problem to solve.
