高职国际英语1-Unit 7 Health and Food

In his artcle, Frank Sutton is talking to younger people, especially girls, who are not getting enough aerobic exercise. He begins by defining what aerobic exercise is. He then goes on to say that just twenty minutes of aerobic exercise a day is enough. It will increase your heart rate and the amount of oxygen that your muscles burn. It will improve your health, keep your weight down, reduce stress and make you sleep better.

Sam Wood: I'd like a diet coke too, please, but with ice. I don't like coke without......
Waiter: ...you ready to order now, sir?

Mr. Wood: Yes, I think so. What about you, Barbara? Mrs. Wood: Yes, well, I'll have the chicken chop suey, please. Number 23. Waiter: And you, sir?

However, he emphasizes that you must not become a fitness fanatic and give up everything you enjoy in life. Frank concludes his article by telling readers the danger of minimal activity when young: experts say that young people who are unfit may have serious health problems like a bad heart in later life.
