教学对象:初一(4)班

教学目标:

1. 帮助学生理解并正确运用情态动词can/cannot, may/may not, must/ must not

2. 引导学生发现并归纳出情态动词can,may , must的用法。

3. 培养学生探究学习、合作学习、自主学习的能力。

教学重点

1. 帮助学生理解并正确运用情态动词

2. 引导学生发现并归纳出情态动词can,may , must的用法。

教学难点

帮助学生理解并正确运用情态动词

教学方法:四环节教学法(自学,讨论,展示,评研)

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Warmming-up (5minutes)

Using some pictures make students say ,then Lead in情态动词can/cannot,may/may not, must/ must not .Present sentences.

Step 2 Grammar learning(15’)

1.Observing and summarying.Make the students observe the sentences in BookA Page55 A1,finish T Or F.

2. Practise speaking.(Page56)

Step 3 Consolidation.(10’)

1.Make Students finish Exercise1 by themselves,then discuss with group members.

2.Group work. Each group shows the answers on the small blackboard, and correct one another.

3.Explanation

Step 4 Talk Bar(8’)

1. Group work. Talk about Huadi Middle Rules with modal words, group-leader takes note on a piece of paper.

2.Showing time.1 or 2 groups show.

Step 5 Sum up(1’)

Summarize by students.

Step6 Homework(1’)

1.Oral and writing practice. Practise saying sentences with modal , and write them down your exercise-books.
