Can I walk across it? ”The cow told him ,”The river is very shallow .You can cross it easily.” Then the little horse was ready to go across the river .Just at that time , a squirrel jumped down a tree and shouted, “Little horse, stop! You’ll drown! ” So the little horse drew back his legs quickly. The squirrel cried sadly,,“The water is too deep ! One of my friends drowned just yesterday in the river. ”
