毕业典礼演讲英语作文5篇毕业典礼演讲英语作文【篇1】you all are leaving your alma mater now. i have no gift to present you all except a piece of advice.what i would like to advise is that "don’t give up your study." most of the courses you have taken are partly for your certificate. you had no choice but to take them.fromnow on, you may study on your own. i would advise you to work hard at some special field when you are still young and vigorous. your youth will be gone that will never come back to you again. when you are old, and when your energy are getting poorer, you will not be able to as you wish to. even though you have to study in order to make a living, studies will never live up to you. making a living without studying, you will be shifted out in three or five years. at this time when you hope to make it up, you will say it is too late. perhaps you will say, "after graduation and going into the society, we will meet with an urgentproblem, that is, to make a living. for this we have no time to study. even though we hope to study, we have no library nor labs, how can we study further?"i would like to say that all those who wait to have a library will not study further even though they have one and all these who wait to have a lab will not do experiments even though they have one.when you have a firm resolution and determination to solve a problem, you will naturally economize on food and clothing.as for time, i should say it’s not a problem. you may know that every day he could do only an hour work, not much more than that because darwin was ill for all his life. you must have read hisachievements. every day you spendan hour in reading 10 useful pages, then you will read more than 3650 pages every year. in 30 years you will have read 110,000 pages.my fellow students, reading 110,000 pages will make you a scholar. but it will take you an hour to read three kinds of small-sized newspapers and it will take you an hour and a half to play fourrounds of mahjian pieces. reading small-sized newspapers or playing mahjian pieces, or working hard to be a scholar? it’s up to you all. henrik ibsen said, "it is your greatest duty to make yourself out."studying is then as tool as casting. giving up studying will destroy yourself.i have to say goodbye to you all. your alma mater will open her eyes to see what you will be in 10 years. goodbye!毕业典礼演讲英语作文【篇2】Thank you very much, Margaret, for that very generous introduction.First, let me say congratulations to our graduates. Welcome back to our alumni. Good afternoon to everyone – colleagues and friends, and family members, loved ones, and our most special guest – our eminentspeaker. It’s a pleasure to address you this afternoon and to offer a few reflections as I approach theendof my first year as president.I realize, however, that I’m literally the last thing standing between you and the speech that you’ve all actually come here to hear. So, while I can’t promise to be mesmerizingly eloquent, I can at least promise to be mercifully brief. We gather this afternoon buoyed by the aspirations of our graduates – some 7,100 people who have distinguished themselves in nearly every field and every discipline imaginable. We welcome them into the venerable ranks of our alumni, and we sendthem forth into a world that is very much in need of both their minds and their hearts.毕业典礼演讲英语作文【篇3】Dear leaders, teachers, parents and friends, dear children:Good afternoon, everyone! University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision. At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.I also realize that only those who bring happinefor others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by their eagerneto learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldnt control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well.I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. We also write a play and put it on in our spare time.Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day theyll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. Theyre busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society毕业典礼演讲英语作文【篇5】Dear teachers and studentshello everyone! The years are in a hurry, and the flowers are blooming and falling. In a twinkling of an eye, the words of six years of primary school students have passed like clouds. However, my heart is still very attached to my alma mater. After six years of primary school life, I can usher in a strange school gate. Here, many memories are clearly reflected in my mind. From the first day of the first grade, I came to this mysterious and strange campus. Day by day in the past, the blink of an eye to the second grade. Once, my friends and I were chasing each other on the playground. We were very happy. Without waiting to be happy, a sudden pain happened to me. There was a classmate who stretched out his foot, but at that time I was still completely immersed in the game. One of them didnt pay attention and was knocked down. But because of my confusion, half of my face fell out of blood, just like the face was destroyed. At that time, the players were stunned and dull for two seconds before they realized that I was wrestling. Some of my friends wipe my face with paper towel while walking, while others hold me, showing great concern and anxiety in their eyes. At that time, my tears have been spinning in my eyes, moving tears have been flowing down.I still remember that when I held the sports meeting, I chose two events, both of which were running, but I was just making trouble. I ran the 100 meter race first, and I came last. I was very discouraged, but the teacher came to comfort me and encouraged me all the time. One day later, it was my 200 meter run, and I was the last runner. The teacher not only didnt say that I was useless, but also encouraged me all the time, saying that you will get good results in the next race. I also want to get good grades very much. Im born without motor cells. No matter how I practice, I cant even get up. In sports, I may be a Dou that I cant help.Goodbye, dear alma mater, the past events in your arms are still fresh in my mind. They are the shining pearls in our memory warehouse; In your arms, we become sensiblefromignorance; In your arms, we growfromchildish to mature; In your arms, we have changedfromtimidity to bravery. Dearstudents, please remember that we are together bit by bit, day and night, let our friendship last forever.。

应届毕业典礼震撼五分钟英语演讲稿范文五篇英语演讲稿1They chose to use their platform to ensure not just that their son would be remembered, but that a new university, built in his name, would exist to benefit others.Since the Stanfords didnt have the opportunity to give their son the future he had envisioned, they devoted themselves to creating a university that would produce both fundamental knowledge and apply that knowledge to tackle real-world problems – but that that would also help countless other students build their own platforms and launch their own lives of purpose. As Stanford graduates, you have built and earned your platform.Your education and experiences here will give you opportunities to pursue your interests and follow your own unique path.Of course, youve worked tremendously hard to achieve this success. And I know that it hasnt always been easy. Each of you has had to overcome obstacles to get to where you are today. And all of that hard work – the midnight coffee breaks; the final exams; the hours spent in the library, or the studio, or the laboratory – have brought you here today. And you havent stopped there.Youve thrown yourself into activities and experiences here –whether sports or the arts, student government or the student newspape r, service work, sketch comedy, the Band, or…or –especially as Ive seen in the last week – fountain hopping! These experiences have enriched your lives, and they, too, have brought you to where you are today.英语演讲稿2You have a world of opportunity in front of you, and it is for you to decide what to do with this platform that youve worked so hard to earn.No matter what field you enter after graduation, you have the opportunity to use your gifts to make a difference in the world. This can feel daunting, at the outset of your post-Stanford life. Some of you may know exactly what contribution you want to make in the world, while others may still be searching for your way to make an impact. But whatever you do, whatever profession you pursue or journey you take – whether you become a teacher or a community leader, a lawyer or a physician, an engineer or an artist, or a scholar or a scientist, or a mother or father, a caregiver to the next generation – whatever you make of your life and the opportunities before you, I hope you will use your gifts to change the world for the better.Having a platform also comes with a responsibility. It requires an ongoing process of self-examination and a continual return to your guiding values. You may find, at times, that the path forward is unclear. Or you may realize, in hindsight, that you have made missteps along the way.All of us make mistakes. I certainly do – just ask my wife and kids! All of our lives require self-examination.英语演讲稿3In those moments, it is important to return to our foundational values to guide us forward. For myself, I always return to the founding purpose of this university – that we are here to generate excellence for the sake of all humanity. That idea serves as Stanfords North Star. And that brings me to todays Commencement speaker, Tim Cook.Tim is a brilliant example of someone who has used his platform to achieve a greater impact beyond his own company. He is a clear voice for leading with vision and values to address the challenges and responsibilities that confront society today.A native of Alabama, Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Auburn University and then an MBA from Duke University.Tim joined Apple in 1998 and became the companys chief operating officer in 2005. He was named CEO in August 20XX.。

We’ve seen ‘1,000-year floods’ hit the Midwestern and Southern United States multiple times in a decade. And we’ve seen record-breaking wildfires ravage California and record-breaking typhoons kill thousands in the Philippines. This is a true crisis. And if we fail to rise to the occasion, your generation, your children, and grandchildren will pay a terrible price. So scientists know there can be no delay in taking action – and many government and political leaders around the world are starting to understand that.Yet here in the United States, our federal government is seeking to become the only country in the world to withdrawfromthe Paris Climate Agreement – the only one. Not even North Korea is doing that. Those in Washington who deny the science of climate change are no more based in reality than those who believe the moon landing was faked. Andwhile the moon landing conspiracy theorists are relegated to the paranoid corners of talk radio, climate skeptics occupy the highest positions of power in the United States government. Now, in the administration’s defense, climate change, they say, is only a theory – yeah, like gravity is only a theory.People can ignore gravity at their own risk, at least until they hit the ground. But when they ignore the climate crisis, they are not only putting themselves at risk, they are putting all humanity at risk.。

What impressed me a lot is the help that my teachers and parents offered when I was in trouble, which supported me during the period. Moreover, I regretted that I didnt work harder. From time to time, facing the pressure, I quarreled with my parents, about which I feel sorry and regretful. To live up to my parents expectation, I will make my effort to work harder in university. It is no doubt that there will be many challenges waiting for me. However, no matter how difficult it is, I will spare no effort to overe it.When it es to the suggestion that I can give to you, I hold the belief that in no case should you set aside the study. So far as Im concerned, it is the determination of working hard that makes you succeed. I wish all of you would realize your dreams.Good luck to all of you!毕业典礼演讲稿英文精选篇5In the past decade alone, we’ve seen historic hurricanes devastate islands across the Caribbean. And while the moon landing conspiracy theorists are relegated to the paranoidcorners of talk radio, climate skeptics occupy the highest positions of power in the United States government.

大学生毕业英语演讲稿(精选18篇)大学生毕业英语篇1I take with me the memory of Friday afternoon ACM happy hours, known not for kegs of beer, but rather bowls of rainbow sherbet punch. Over the several years that I attended these happy hours they enjoyed varying degrees of popularity, often proportional to the quality and quantity of the accompanying refreshments - but there was always the rainbow sherbert punch.I take with me memories of purple parking permits, the West Campus shuttle, checking my pendaflex, over-due library books, trying to print from cec, lunches on Delmar, friends who slept in their offices, miniature golf in Lopata Hall, The Greenway Talk, division III basketball, and trying to convince Dean Russel that yet another engineering school rule should be changed. Finally, I would like to conclude, not with a memory, but with some advice. What would a graduation speech be without a little advice, right? Anyway, this advice comes in the form of a verse delivered to the 1977 graduating class of Lake Forest College by Theodore Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss - Here's how it goes:My uncle ordered popovers from the restaurant's bill of fare. And when they were served, he regarded them with a penetrating stare . . . Then he spoke great Words of Wisdom as he sat there on that chair: "T o eat these things," said my uncle, "you must excercise great care. You may swallow down what's solid . . . BUT . . . you must spit out the air!"And . . . as you partake of the world's bill of fare, that's darned good advice to follow. Do a lot of spitting out the hot air. And be careful what you swallow.大学生毕业英语演讲稿篇3Faculty, family, friends, and fellow graduates, good evening.I am honored to address you tonight. On behalf of the graduating masters and doctoral students of Washington University's School of Engineering and Applied Science, I would like to thank all the parents, spouses, families, and friends who encouraged and supported us as we worked towards our graduate degrees. I would especially like to thank my own family, eight members of which are in the audience today. I would also like to thank all of the department secretaries and other engineering school staff members who always seemed to be there when confused graduate students needed help. And finally I would like to thank the Washington University faculty members who served as our instructors, mentors, and friends. As I think back on the seven-and-a-half years I spent at Washington University, my mind is filled with memories, happy, sad, frustrating, and even humorous.Tonight I would like to share with you some of the memories that I take with me as I leave Washington University.I take with me the memory of my office on the fourth floor of Lopata Hall - the room at the end of the hallway that was too hot in summer, too cold in winter, and always too far away from the women's restroom. The window was my office's best feature. Were it not for the physics building across the way, it would have afforded me a clear view of the arch. But instead I got a view of the roof of the physics building. I also had a view of one corner of the roof of Urbauer Hall, which seemed to be a favorite perch for various species of birds who alternately won perching rights for several weeks at a time. And I had a nice view of the physics courtyard, noteworthy as a good place for watching people runtheir dogs. It's amazing how fascinating these views became the longer I worked on my dissertation. But my favorite view was of a nearby oak tree. From my fourth-floor vantage point I had a rather intimate view of the tree and the various birds and squirrels that inhabit it. Occasionally a bird would land on my window sill, which usually had the effect of startling both of us.I take with me the memory of two young professors who passed away while I was a graduate student. Anne Johnstone, the only female professor from whom I took a course in the engineering school, and Bob Durr, a political science professor and a member of my dissertation committee, both lost brave battles with cancer. I remember them fondly.I take with me the memory of failing the first exam in one of the first engineering courses I took as an undergraduate. I remember thinking the course was just too hard for me and that I would never be able to pass it. So I went to talk to the professor, ready to drop the class. And he told me not to give up, he told me I could succeed in his class. For reasons that seemed completely ludicrous at the time, he said he had faith in me. And after that my grades in the class slowly improved, and I ended the semester with an A on the final exam. I remember how motivational it was to know that someone believed in me.I take with me memories of the midwestern friendliness that so surprised me when I arrived in St. Louis 8 years ago. Since moving to New Jersey, I am sad to say, nobody has asked me where I went to high school.I take with me the memory of the short-lived computer science graduate student social committee lunches. The idea was that groups of CS grad students were supposed to take turns cooking a monthly lunch. But after one grad student prepared apot of chicken that poisoned almost the entire CS grad student population and one unlucky faculty member in one fell swoop, there wasn't much enthusiasm for having more lunches.I take with me the memory of a more successful graduate student effort, the establishment of the Association of Graduate Engineering Students, known as AGES. Started by a handful of engineering graduate students because we needed a way to elect representatives to a campus-wide graduate student government, AGES soon grew into an organization that now sponsors a wide variety of activities and has been instrumental in addressing a number of engineering graduate student concerns.I take with me the memory of an Engineering and Policy department that once had flourishing programs for full-time undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.I take with me memories of the 1992 U.S. Presidential debate. Eager to get involved in all the excitement I volunteered to help wherever needed. I remember spending several days in the makeshift debate HQ giving out-of-town reporters directions to the athletic complex. I remember being thrilled to get assigned the job of collecting film from the photographers in the debate hall during the debate. And I remember the disappointment of drawing the shortest straw among the student volunteers and being the one who had to take the film out of the debate hall and down to the dark room five minutes into the debate - with no chance to re-enter the debate hall after I left.I take with me memories of university holidays which never seemed to apply to graduate students. I remember spending many a fall break and President's Day holiday with my fellow grad students in all day meetings brought to us by the computerscience department.I take with me memories of exams that seemed designed more to test endurance and perseverance than mastery of the subject matter. I managed to escape taking any classes that featured infamous 24-hour-take-home exams, but remember the suffering of my less fortunate colleagues. And what doctoral student could forget the pain and suffering one must endure to survive the qualifying exams? I take with me the memory of the seven-minute rule, which always seemed to be an acceptable excuse for being ten minutes latefor anything on campus, but which doesn't seem to apply anywhere else I go.I take with me the memory of Friday afternoon ACM happy hours, known not for kegs of beer, but rather bowls of rainbow sherbet punch.

1Commencement is a milestone—one of life’s landmark occasions, a time when graduates, family members, and friends gather to celebrate past and future. At the University of Michigan, Spring Commencement is a festive, campus-wide event where graduates are recognized by their school or college as a group, and honorary degrees are conferred. In addition to Spring Commencement, which all graduates are welcome to attend, each school, college and campus hold individual ceremonies to celebrate their graduates’ accomplishments.Class of 20xx, Congratulations!I join your professors, family members and friends in expressing my utmost pride as we celebrate your accomplishments as the newest graduates of the University of Michigan.Graduates, you did it!Each one of you earned a place here – and you made the most of it.I know that for many of you, the road to get here was not easy. Perhaps you traversed some potholes along the way.I have it on the highest authority, however, that these potholes are about to be filled, and the roads are going to get fixed …But for those of you who are first-generation students, military veterans, or from communities, cities and towns thatdon’t send many students to Michigan –I hope you are especially relishing this day.As members of the Class of 20xx, all of you have conquered the rigors of our curricula. You exceled in your studies, your research, your advocacy and your service. You found ways to navigate central campus, when we decided to renovate the LS&A building and the Union at the same time. And you even survived a polar vortex – with not one, but TWO, days of canceled classes.Since we are here, you must have used that time to study.演讲稿英语2We live in an era of accelerating change where often as a society and as individuals we seem to be struggling to keep up.Graduation is all about change. And at Michigan that means it’s not only about the change in you, it’s about the changes you will contribute to in society. In the fall of 20xx, when many of you started as undergraduates here at Michigan, our world was a different place.Me Too was not yet a hashtag. The event horizon of a black hole had never been imaged. And midterm voter turnout on university campuses across the country was just 19 percent. Each of these examples, in their own way, demonstrates the often long and difficult path to change. The Me T oo Movement was founded in 20xx by activist and sexual assault survivor Tarana Burke. Burke wanted to provide a place for survivors to tell their stories, for empathy, and for healing. She spent more than a decade persevering and advocating on the behalf of those whose stories are marginalized, or not told at all. Then the idea she started went viral, transforming intoglobal conversation and, we must hope, change. The image of the black hole event horizon presented last month required two years of computer analysis, data from 8 observatories on three continents, and a team of 200 scientists, which included 20xx U-M Electrical Engineering graduate Katie Bouman. We have now seen what had previously been described as un-seeable, and pushed the frontiers of knowledge to the darkest regions of the universe. And during the 20xx midterm election, Tufts University reports that youth turnout increased in every state for which they have data. In 27 states, it rose by double digits.Plus, precincts that serve Big Ten campuses saw their turnout increase by an average of 24 percentage points. This is more than double the increase in nearby areas, indicating that students made their voice heard. Higher turnout was a goal of the Big Ten Voting Challenge. Well done!Choosing to commit to the work needed to make change, and see it through, can produce amazing results – but it can also frustrate.Change doesn’t happen in a straight line. It’s messy. It can take years, or even decades. But when it is founded on principled dedication, collaboration, and hope – all the ingredients are in place. Our campus has wonderful examples.演讲稿英语3Last month we opened our Trotter Multicultural Center on State Street. This inspirational new home devoted to unity, peace and understanding brings together people from all backgrounds, in a building planned and designed in collaboration withstudents. It was an historic change for our campus — and it was made possible by a legacy of student activism. Members of our Black Student Union, past and present, shared their experiences on our campus and their aspirations for a better Michigan. Some are even graduating today. They mobilized their fellow students and called on, and worked with, the university to create the new Trotter. And while our work to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion is far from finished, the University of Michigan is changed for the better.Another member of the Class of 20xx used the power of journalism to create change. In March of 20xx, Kevin Sweitzer wrote an editorial in the Michigan Daily criticizing the name of a house in our West Quad residence hall. Winchell House had been named after a 19th century U-M professor, whose published work supported white supremacy. In 20xx, Kevin submitted a formal request under the process we established to reconsider the names of university spaces. After a review by our prominent committee of historians, humanists, and many other experts, we removed the Winchell name.Kevin is graduating today, from a university changed for the better.CSG President Daniel Greene, who also graduates today, spent much of his time in office advocating for greater affordability, food security, mental health services, and diversity. The results produced by CSG this year include a housing survey, the expansion of a food pantry for students in need, greater mental health awareness, and a plan to help student organizations achieve their full potential.演讲稿英语4As Daniel goes on to Teach for America, he leaves a university that is changed for the better. The changes you have seen on campus and around the globe also provide a roadmap that can serve as a guide to the changes you can create in society.Purposefully contributing to change requires courage, trust, and the willingness to listen and consider many voices. It works best when trust is built by finding common ground, and when we reject the view that it is “us versus them” — that there must be winners and losers. This is how we can overcome the erosion of trust and begin to collaborate to work through differences. It takes courage to open ourselves up to opinions and interpretations we don’t agree with. But it’s also how we learn, sharpen our own arguments, and hone our ability to persuade others.Your time at Michigan has provided a wonderful proving ground to develop your ability to create change. Where else can you seek solutions among such talented scholars, all pursuing knowledge and understanding to advance a quintessentially public mission?U-M is a place where data and evidence matter, where all voices can be heard, and where talented and hard-working students emerge as leaders and best.演讲稿英语5Our passion for change is why we are the nation’s No. 1 public research university. It’s why the discovery process has been a foundational centerpiece of our Michigan DNA for more than 200 years. It’s why we strive, always, to extend our impact beyond the borders of our campus – to the communities we serve, and to the frontiers of human knowledge that now span galaxies. It’s why I hope you are asking, on the day of your graduation, what you can change next. The challenges we face as a society are numerous and complex – from climate change to poverty to conflict between nations. But these and many other challenges can unite us as we strive for change – if we choose the path of courage.Listen to different views.Trust one another.Find common ground. And commit to the discussions and the discoveries that can produce a better world.Class of 20xx, our society is yours to change.Seek out new evidence, develop new methods, and consider many points of view. And choose the path that will make ours a better world – as you Go discover, Go achieve, Go serve, and Go Blue!。

应届毕业典礼简洁三分钟英语演讲稿(整理20篇)篇1:应届毕业典礼简洁三分钟英语演讲稿In the next few weeks, you will encounter all sorts of moon-landing hoopla. So she wants to make sure that every one of you as well equipped with precisely engineered conversation deflectors. That way, when people start talking on and on about NASA and Houston and the great vision of President Kennedy, you can steer the conversation right back to MIT.If you listen carefully to our commencement speaker lecture, you’ll know how to answer what’s coming next because I’m going to give you one final lit tle prep quiz. I’ll read the question, and you fill in the blank. And please, make it loud. And to the parents and grandparents, texting them the answer is not allowed.Question one:In 1961, NASA realized that the moon landing required the invention of a computer-guidance system that was miniaturized, foolproof, and far more powerful than any the world had ever seen. So NASA did not call Harvard. NASA called –MIT.I know you would be good at this.Question two:The first person to walk on the moon was a man, but at MIT, among the very first programmers hired for the Apollo project was not a man but a –Woman.Yes, a woman. You got it. Her name is Margaret Hamilton. She played a key role in developing the software that made the moon landing possible. And by the way, Margaret Hamilton was also one ofthe first to argue that computer programming deserved as much respect as computer hardware. So she insisted on describing her work with a brand-new term, software engineering.OK, just one more.篇2:应届毕业典礼简洁三分钟英语演讲稿Question three:As you heard a moment ago, the second person to walk on the moon was Buzz Aldrin. Buzz was the first astronaut to have a doctoral degree, and he earned it from the school that has produced more astronauts than any nonmilitary institution. In fact, of the 12 humans who have walked on the moon, four graduated from that same institution, which is known by just three letters.MIT.You are great. I knew you could do it. “The beaver has landed!” Mrs. Reif, I believe they are ready. As you…as you prepare for liftoff, I’d like to use the Apollo story to reflect on a few larger lessons we hope you learned at MIT because the spirit of that magnificent human project speaks to this community’s deepest values and its highest aspirations. The first lesson is the power of interdisciplinary teams. We live in a culture that loves to single out heroes. We love to crown superstars. As graduates of MIT, however, I expect you’r e already skeptical of stories of scientific triumph that have only one hero. You know by now that if you want to do something big, like detect gravitational waves in outer space or decode the human genome, or tackle climate change, or finish an 8.01 pset before sunrise, you cannot do it without a team.As Margaret Hamilton herself would be quick to explain, by 1968, the MIT Instrumentation Laboratory had 600 people working on the moon-landing software. At its peak, the MIT hardware team was 400. And from Virginia to Texas, NASA engaged thousands more. In short, she was one star in a tremendous constellation of talent. And together – together – those stars created something impossible for any one of them to create alone.篇3:应届毕业典礼简洁三分钟英语演讲稿From your time at MIT, I trust all of you have experienced that feeling of learning from each other, respecting each other, and depending on each other. And I hope…I hope that this instinct for sharing the work and sharing the credit is something you never forget. The moon-landing story reflects many other values – to seek out bold ideas, to not be afraid of impossible assignments, and always to stay humble, especially when it comes to the laws of nature. The Apollo story also proves how much human beings can accomplish when we invest in research and we put our trust in science. But the final lesson I want to emphasize is not technical, and it could not be more important for our time.篇4:应届毕业典礼简洁三分钟英语演讲稿As you heard earlier, just over on that side of Killian Court, showing off their spectacular red jackets are more than 170 members of the class of 1969. Apollo 11, as you heard, landed on the moon a few weeks after their MIT graduation. A number of them went on to work in fields that were gr eatly…greatly accelerated by progress from Apollo 11. One of them is Irene Greif, the first woman to earn a PhD in computer science from MIT.But I believe our 1969 graduates might all agree on the most important wisdom we gained from Apollo: It was the sudden intense understanding of our shared humanity and of the preciousness and fragility of our blue planet.50 years later, those lessons feel more urgent than ever, and I believe that, as members of the great global family of MIT, we must do everything in our power to help make a better world. So it is in that spirit that I deliver my charge to you.I’m going to use a word that feels very comfortable at MIT, although it has taken on a troubling new meaning elsewhere. But I know that our graduates will know what I mean. After you depart for your new destinations, I want to ask you to hack the world until you make the world a little more like MIT –more daring and more passionate, more rigorous, inventive and ambitious, more humble, more respectful, more generous, more kind. And because the people of MIT also like to fix things that are broken, as you strive to hack the world, please try to heal the world, too.篇5:应届毕业典礼简洁三分钟英语演讲稿Our society is like a big complicated family in the midst of a terrible argument. I believe that one way…one way to make it better is to find ways to listen to each other, to understand our differences, and to work constantly to remind each other of our common humanity. I know you will find your own ways to help with this healing, too. This morning, we share with the world nearly 3,000 new graduates who are ready for this urgent and timeless problem set.You came to MIT with exceptional qualities of your own. And now, after years of focused and intense dedication, you leave us, equipped with a distinctive set of skills and steeped in this community’s deepest values – a commitment to excellence, integrity, meritocracy, boldness, humility, an open spirit of collaboration, a strong desire to make a positive impact, and a sense of responsibility to make the world a better place. So now, go out there. Join the world. Find your calling. Solve the unsolvable. Invent the future. Take the high road. Shoot for the moon. And you will continue to make your family, including your MIT family, proud.篇6:应届毕业典礼简洁三分钟英语演讲稿英语演讲稿1In the next few weeks, you will encounter all sorts of moon-landing hoopla. As you…as you prepare for liftoff, I’d like to use the Apollo story to reflect on a few larger lessons we hope you learned at MIT because the spirit of that magnificent human project speaks to thiscommunity’s deepest values and its highest aspirations. The first lesson is the power of interdisciplinary teams. We live in a culture that loves to single out heroes. We love to crown superstars. As graduates of MIT, however, I expect you’re already skeptical of stories of scientific triumph that have only one hero. And together – together – those stars created something impossible for any one of them to create alone.英语演讲稿3From your time at MIT, I trust all of you have experienced that feeling of learning from each other, respecting each other, and depending on each other. But the final lesson I want to emphasize is not technical, and it could not be more important for our time.英语演讲稿4As you heard earlier, just over on that side of Killian Court, showing off their spectacular red jackets are more than 170 members of the class of 1969. Apollo 11, as you heard, landed on the moon a few weeks after their MIT graduation. A number of them went on to work in fields that were greatly…greatly accelerated by progress from Apollo 11. And because the people of MIT also like to fix things that are broken, as you strive to hack the world, please try to heal the world, too.英语演讲稿5Our society is like a big complicated family in the midst of a terrible argument. And you will continue to make your family, including your MIT family, proud.篇7:应届毕业典礼简单三分钟英语演讲稿Thank you. Thank you.Good morning, Class of !Thank you, President Tessier-Lavigne, for that very generous introduction. I’ll do my best to earn it.Before I begin, I want to recognize everyone whose hard work made this celebration possible, including the groundskeepers, ushers, volunteers and crew. Thank you.I’m deeply honored and frankly a little astonished to be invited to join you for this most meaningful of occasions.Graduates, this is your day. But you didn’t get here alone.Family and friends, teachers, mentors, loved ones, and, of course, your parents, all worked together to make you possible and they shar e your joy today. Here on Father’s Day, let’s give the dads in particular a round of applause.Stanford is near to my heart, not least because I live just a mile and a half from here.Of course, if my accent hasn’t given it away, for the first pa rt of my life, I had to admire this place from a distance.I went to school on the other side of the country, at Auburn University, in the heart of landlocked Eastern Alabama.篇8:应届毕业典礼简单三分钟英语演讲稿In just the four years that you’ve been here at the Farm, things feel like they have taken a sharp turn.Crisis has tempered optimism. Consequences have challenged idealism. And reality has shaken blind faith. And yet we are all still drawn here. For good reason.Big dreams live here, as do the genius and passion to make them real. In an age of cynicism, this place still believes that the human capacity to solve problems is boundless. But so, it seems, is our potential to create them. That’s what I’m interested in talking about today. Because if I’ve learned one thing, it’s that technology doesn’t change who we are, it magnifies who we are, the good and the bad.Our problems – in technology, in politics, wherever – are humanproblems. From the Garden of Eden to today, it’s our humanity that got us into this mess, and it’s our humanity that’s going to have to get us out.First things first, here’s a plain fact.Silicon Valley is responsible for some of the most revolutionary inventions in modern history. From the first oscillator built in the Hewlett-Packard garage to the iPhones that I know you’re holding in your hands.Social media, shareable video, snaps and stories that connecthalf the people on Earth. They all trace their roots to Stanford’s backyard. But lately, it seems, this industry is becoming better known for a less noble innovation: the belief that you can claim credit without accepting responsibility.篇9:应届毕业典礼简单三分钟英语演讲稿We see it every day now, with every data breach, every privacy violation, every blind eye turned to hate speech. Fake news poisoning our national conversation. The false miracles in exchange for asingle drop of your blood. Too many seem to think that goodintentions excuse away harmful outcomes. But whether you like it or not, what you build and what you create define who you are.It feels a bit crazy that anyone should have to say this. But if you’ve built a chaos factory, you can’t dodge responsibility for the chaos. Taking responsibility means having the courage to think things through. And there are few areas where this is more important than privacy. If we accept as normal and unavoidable that everything in our lives can be aggregated, sold, or even leaked in the event of a hack, then we lose so much more than data.We lose the freedom to be human.篇10:应届毕业典礼简单三分钟英语演讲稿Think about what’s at stake. Everything you write, everything you say, every topic of curiosity, every stray thought, every impulsive purchase, every moment of frustration or weakness, every gripe or complaint, every secret shared in confidence. In a world without digital privacy, even if you have done nothing wrong other than think differently, you begin to censor yourself. Not entirely at first. Just a little, bit by bit. To risk less, to hope less, to imagine less, to dare less, to create less, to try less, to talk less, to think less. The chilling effect of digital surveillance is profound, and it touches everything. What a small, unimaginative world we would end up with. Not entirely at first. Just a little, bit by bit. Ironically, it’s the kind of environment that would have stopped Silicon Valley before it had even gotten started. We deserve better. You deserve better. If we believe that freedom means an environment where great ideas can take root, where they can grow and be nurtured without fear of irrational restrictions or burdens, then it’s our duty to change course, because your generation ought to have the same freedom to shape the future as the generation that came before.Graduates, at the very least, learn from these mistakes. If you want to take credit, first, learn to take responsibility.篇11:应届毕业典礼简单三分钟英语演讲稿You may not know this, but I was on the sailing team all four years. It wasn’t easy. Back then, the closest marina was a three-hour drive away. For practice, most of the time we had to wait for a heavy rainstorm to flood the football field. And tying knots is hard! Who knew?Yet somehow, against all odds, we managed to beat Stanford every time. We must have gotten lucky with the wind.Kidding aside, I know the real reason I’m here, and I don’t take it lightly.Stanford and Silicon Valley’s roots are woven together. We’re part of the same ecosystem. It was true when Steve stood on this stage 14 years ago, it’s true today, and, presumably, it’ll be true for a while longer still. The past few decades have lifted us together. But today, we gather at a moment that demands some reflection.Fueled by caffeine and code, optimism and idealism, conviction and creativity, generations of Stanford graduates (and dropouts) have used technology to remake our society. But I think you would agree that, lately, the results haven’t been neat or straightforward.篇12:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿In the past decade alone, we’ve seen historic hurricanes devastate islands across the Caribbean. We’ve seen ‘1,000-year floods’ hit the Midwestern and Southern United States multiple times in a decade. And w e’ve seen record-breaking wildfires ravage California and record-breaking typhoons kill thousands in the Philippines. This is a true crisis. And if we fail to rise to the occasion, your generation, your children, and grandchildren will pay a terrible price. So scientists know there can be no delay in taking action –and many government and political leaders around the world are starting to understand that.Yet here in the United States, our federal government is seeking to become the only country in the world to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement – the only one. Not even North Korea is doing that. Those in Washington who deny the science of climate change are no more based in reality than those who believe the moon landing was faked. And while the moon landing conspiracy theorists are relegated to the paranoid corners of talk radio, climate skeptics occupy the highest positions of power in the United States government. Now, in the administration’s defense, climate change, they say, is only a theory – yeah, like gravity is only a theory.People can ignore gravity at their own risk, at least until they hit the ground. But when they ignore the climate crisis, they are not only putting themselves at risk, they are putting all humanity at risk.篇13:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿The truth is, success is a process—you can ask anybody who’s been successful. I just passed on the lane up here here, successful restauranteur Danny Meyer, who’s sitting here with his family—Charles is graduating to day. Ask Danny or anybody who’s successful, you go to any one of his restaurants—Shake Shack, love it!—Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern—you will be impressed by not only the food, but the radical hospital and service. Service is not just aboutwhen you’r e getting served. When I started my talk show, I was just so happy to be on television. I was so happy to interview members of the Ku Klux Klan.I thought I was interviewing them to show their vitriol to the world, and then I saw them using hand signals in the audience—and realized they were using me, and using my platform. Then we did a show where someone was embarrassed, and I was responsible for the embarrassment. We had somehow talked a man who was cheating on his wife to come on the show with the woman he was cheating with and, on live television, he told his wife that his girlfriend was pregnant. That happened on mywatch.Shortly after I said: I’m not gonna do that again. How can I use this show to not just be a show, but allow it to be a service to the viewer? That question of “How do we serve the viewer?” transformed the show. And because we asked that question every single day from 1989 forward—with the intention of only doing what was in service to the people who were watching—that is why now, no matter where I go in the world, people say “I watched your show, it changed my life.” People watched and were raised by that show. I did a good job of raising a lot of people, I must say. That happened because of an intention to be of service.篇14:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿Instead of challenging Americans to believe in our ability to master the universe, as President Kennedy did, the current administration is pandering to the skeptics who, in the 1960s, looked at the space program and only saw short-term costs and long-term benefits.President Kennedy’s era earned the nickname, ‘The GreatestGeneration’ – not only because they persevered through the Great Depression and won the Second World War. They earned it because of determination to rise, to pioneer, to innovate, and to fulfill the promise of American freedom. They dreamed in moonshots. They reached for the stars. And they began to redeem – through the Civil Rights Movement – the failures of the past. They set the standard for leadership and service to our nation’s ideals. Now, your generation has the opportunity to join them in the history books. The challenge that lies before you – stopping climate change – is unlike any other ever faced by humankind. The stakes could not be higher. If left unchecked, the climate change crisis threatens to destroy oceanic life that feeds so many people on this planet. It threatens to breed war by spreading drought and hunger. It threatens to sink coastal communities, devastate farms and businesses, and spread disease.篇15:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿So today, I’m happy to announce that, with our foundation, I’m committing $500 million to the launch of a new national climate initiative, and I hope that you will all become part of it. We are calling it Beyond Carbon. The last one was Beyond Coal, this is Beyond Carbon because we have greater goals. Our goal is to move the U.S. towards a 100% cleaner energy economy as expeditiously as possible, and begin that process right now. We intend to succeed not by sacrificing things we need, but by investing in things we want: the more good jobs, cleaner air and water, cheaper power, more transportation options, and less congestedroads that we can get.篇16:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿Now, some people say, we should leave it in God’s hands. But most religious leaders, I’m happy to say, disagree. After all, where in the Bible, or the Torah, or the Koran, or any other book about faith or philosophy, does it teach that we should do things that make floods and fires and plagues more severe? I must have missed that day in religion class.Today, most Americans in both parties accept that human activity is driving the climate crisis and they want government to take action. Over the past two months, there has been a healthy debate –mostly within the Democratic Party – over what those actions should be. And that’s great. In the years ahead, we need to build consensus around comprehensive and ambitious federal policies that the next Congress should pass. But everyone who is concerned about the climate crisis should also be able to agree on two realities. The first one is, given opposition in the Senate and White House, there is virtually no chance of passing such policies before . And the second reality is w e can’t wait to act. We can’t put this mission off any longer. Mother Nature does not wait on the election calendar – and neither can we.Our foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies, have been working for years to rally cities, and states, and businesses to lead on this issue –and we’ve had real success. Just not enough.篇17:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿To do it, we will defeat in the courts the EPA’s attempt to roll back regulations that reduce carbon pollution and protect our air andwater. But most of our battles will take place outside of Washington. We’re going to take the fight to the cities, and states – and directly to the people. And the fight will take place on four main fronts.First, we will push states and utilities to phase out every last U.S. coal-fired power plant by 2023 – just 11 years from now. Politicians keep making promises about climate change mitigation by the year 2023 –hypocritically, after they’re long gone and no one can hold them accountable. Meanwhile, the science keeps moving the possible inflection point of irreversible global warming closer and closer. We have to set goals for the near term – and we have to hold our elected officials accountable for meeting them.篇18:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿I live in this space of radical love and gratitude. Truly, I live the most beautiful life that you can imagine. I sit around trying to imagine: Who can have a better life? Whatever you imagine my life to be like…it’s always ten times better than whatever you think! It’s true! It’s not b ecause I have wealth—although I love money, money’s fabulous, I love it—and that I get a lot of attention, which is also good...sometimes. It’s because I had appreciation for the small steps, the seeds that were planted, the maps of my lifethat unfolded because I was paying attention. You have to pay attention to your life, because it’s speaking to you all the time. That led me to a path made clear. So that is what I’m wishing for you today: Your own path made clear. I know there’s a lot of anxiety ab out what the future holds and how much money you’re gonna make, but your anxiety does not contribute one iota to your progress, I gotta tell you. Look at howmany times you were worried and upset—and now you’re here today. You made it. You’re going to be o kay.Take a deep breath with me right now and repeat this: Everything is always working out for me. That’s my mantra—make it yours. Everything is always working out for me. Because it is, and it has, and it will continue to be as you forge and discover your own path. But first: You do need a job. And may I say, it doesn't have to be your life’s mission, our your greatest passion, but a job that pays your rent and lets you move out of your parents house—because yes, they are tired of taking care of you, and they’re hoping this CC education will pay off! And it will in ways that you can’t imagine.篇19:应届毕业典礼三分钟英语演讲稿I realized this during the struggle of my life trying to build a network at the same time as running a show. I did not have the right leadership, and everything is about having the right people around you to support you. All of my mistakes were in the media—I can’t do anything privately. So when everything is about struggle-struggle, I had to say: What is this about? What is this here to show you? That is now my favorite question in crisis: What is this here to teach you or show you?Jack Canfield in Chicken Soup for the Soul says “The greatest wound we’ve all experienced is being rejected for being our authentic self. And then we try to be what we’re not to get approval, love, acceptance, money...but the real need for all of usis to reconnect with the essence of who we really are…we all go around hiding parts of ourselves.“ He said he was with a Buddhist teacher years ago who sai d, “Here’s the secret: If you were to meditate for 20 years, here’s where you’d finally get to: Just be。

大学毕业典礼英文致辞1Answering speechDear professors and dear friends of China Jiliang University, I’m honored to address you on behalf of all the graduations this year.I would like to thank my parents, classmates, and friends who helped us ,and encouraged and supported us as we worked towards to our graduate degrees.I also want to thank Jiliang’s faculty members who served as our instructors, mentor, and friends, relatives, like Prof.Yu, Prof.Gao, Mrs. Liang. Through their commitments, they have inspired us to achieve and guided us to our dream. On this stage, at my graduation ceremony, when I look back my four years at Jiliang, my mind is filled with memories. May be you will ask me: do you have special to share? Yes, I want to share few simple but critical suggestions with you and with for the coming juniors:First, be work hard and think smart.Secondly, believe things happened for a reason.Thirdly, just as Jobs said at the graduation ceremony in Stanford University, stay hungry, stay foolish.Today, we will graduate from China Jiliang University, but we will be with Jiliang forever. Let us think forward and worktogether to make the new history of China Jiliang University.Thank you.大学毕业典礼英文致辞2Unlike any other creature on this planet, humans can learn and understand, without having experienced. They can think th emselves into other people’s minds, imagine themselves into other people’s places.Of course, this is a power, like my brand of fictional magic, that is morally neutral. One might use such an ability to manipulate, or control, just as much as to understand or sympathise. And many prefer not to exercise their imaginations at all. They choose to remain comfortably within the bounds of their own experience, never troubling to wonder how it would feel to have been born other than they are. They can refuse to hear screams or to peer inside cages; they can close their minds and hearts to any suffering that does not touch them personally; they can refuse to know.I might be tempted to envy people who can live that way, except that I do not think they have any fewer nightmares than I do. Choosing to live in narrow spaces can lead to a form of mental agoraphobia, and that brings its own terrors. I think the wilfully unimaginative see more monsters. They are often more afraid. What is more, those who choose not to empathize may enable real monsters. For without ever committing an act of outright evil ourselves, we collude with it, through our own apathy. One of the many things I learned at the end of that Classics corridor down which I ventured at the age of 18, in search ofsomething I could not then define, was this, written by the Greek author Plutarch: What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality. That is an astonishing statement and yet proven a thousand times every day of our lives. It expresses, in part, our inescapable connection with the outside world, the fact that we touch other people’s lives simply by existing. But how much more are you, Harvard graduates of 2008, likely to touch other people’s lives? Your intelligence, your capacity for hard work, the education you have earned and received, give you unique status, and unique responsibilities. Even your nationality sets you apart. The great majority of you belong to the world’s only remaining superpower. The way you vote, the way you live, the way you protest, the pressure you bring to bear on your government, has an impact way beyond your borders. That is your privilege, and your burden. If you choose to use your status and influence to raise your voice on behalf of those who have no voice; if you choose to identify not only with the powerful, but with the powerless; if you retain the ability to imagine yourself into the lives of those who do not have your advantages, then it will not only be your proud families who celebrate your existence, but thousands and millions of people whose reality you have helped transform for the better. We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.I am nearly finished. I have one last hope for you, which is something that I already had at 21. The friends with whom I sat on graduation day have been my friends for life. They are my children’s godparents, the people to whom I’ve been able toturn in times of trouble, friends who have been kind enough not to sue me when I’ve used their names for Death Eaters. At our graduation we were bound by enormous affection, by our shared experience of a time that could never come again, and, of course, by the knowledge that we held certain photographic evidence that would be exceptionally valuable if any of us ran for Prime Minister. So today, I can wish you nothing better than similar friendships. And tomorrow, I hope that even if you remember not a single word of mine, you remember those of Seneca, another of those old Romans I met when I fled down the Classics corridor, in retreat from career ladders, in search of ancient wisdom:大学毕业典礼英文致辞3You must believe in yourself and in your work. When our first Batman movie broke all those box-office records, I received a phone call from that United Artists exec who, years before, had told me I was out of my mind. Now he said, “Michael, Im just calling to congratulate you on the success of Batman. I always said you were a visionary.” You see the point here —dont believe them when they tell you how bad you are or how terrible your ideas are, but also, dont believe them when they tell you how wonderful you are and how great your ideas are. Just believe in yourself and youll do just fine. And, oh yes, dont then forget to market yourself and your ideas. Use both sides of your brain. You must have a high threshold for frustration. Take it from the guy who was turned down by every studio in Hollywood. You must knock on doors until your knuckles bleed. Doors will slam in your face. You must pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and knock again. Its the only way to achieve your goals in life.大学毕业典礼英文致辞4Sheryl Sandberg told a graduating class of Tsinghua University that great leaders want genuine enthusiasm, something she said her late husband, Dave Goldberg, always had.

1Dear students, distinguished teachers:After years of hard study, students have successfully realized their college dreams and are about to embark on a new journey of life.First of all, ON behalf of the school to XX all undergraduate graduates to express warm congratulations and heartfelt blessing!Todays commencement is destined to be an unforgettable moment for all of us. It brings me back to my own graduation from college more than 30 years ago.I just listened to the speech of sha Ying, the graduate representative, and I believe she represents the sincerity of all the graduates of XX.Students of the school, parents, teachers have such heartfelt expression of emotion, Alma mater feel happy for you, I am proud of you!Dear students, this year, the university has reformed the criteria for awarding bachelors degree. The degree awarding has been separated from the Score of Cet-4, enabling more students to successfully complete their university studies. The reason why we do this is not to think that English is not important. The fundamental starting point is to adhere to the people-oriented concept and adhere to the way of education of the university, so that every student can enjoy free and harmonious development. The future of life should not be affected by the SCORE of CET-4.In fact, from another level, when we learn English well, we should also pay due attention to our mother tongue, establish the confidence and consciousness of national culture, which is also the obligatory responsibility and responsibility of university education.College graduation ceremony is a vivid embodiment of the spirit and culture of the university, which will remain in our hearts forever after many years. This year, the university has provided a gown for each of you to feel and enjoy the occasion.Due to the large number of graduates, I cannot personally award degrees to each student. Please understand that I will authorize each school to award bachelors degrees to each student.University is the palace of human science and knowledge, is the highland of thought and spirit. The Confucian classic, The Book of Rites, opens with the words: "The way of a university lies in being clear and virtuous, being close to the people, and being perfect.Knowledge leads to stillness, and stillness leads to stillness, and stillness leads to security, and security leads to contemplation, and contemplation leads to acquisition."Such ideas are still guiding the running practice of modern universities in China."Stop at perfection" undoubtedly represents the highest pursuit of human moral ideal, which is the power of faith. We say that the fundamental mission of a university is to foster morality and cultivate people. What is the basis of virtue? It is ideal, it is faith, it is faith.People are good and evil, people are good and evil, the key lies in the difference between ideals, beliefs and beliefs. An ideal is a vision of what is possible in connection with a goal.Faith is the spiritual will established on the basis of certain knowledge, to believe in a certain idea or ideal and to act on it.Faith is the highest level of ideas, is a certain doctrine, advocates of extreme confidence, trust and respect. In my mind, faith is a sacred word, faith is a power of thought. To be strong, a nation must have firm and upward faith. To prosper, a society must have a firm and upward faith; To live a meaningful and valuable happy life, one needs a great faith to guide andsupport.Fellow students, faith is the foundation of morality, faith is the source of strength, faith is the rule of behavior, faith is the mark of action, faith is the road to happiness. In this era of pluralism and openness, we still need firm faith. In the course of life in the future, I hope you will let the lighthouse of faith illuminate your way forward, and let the power of faith guide you to live a full life with pursuit, value and significance!Thank you!毕业典礼英文演讲稿2Dear parents, teachers and dear children:How do you do!First of all, my warmest congratulations to you as you finish your studies and head off into the distance.Just listen to the introduction of 20 classes, just like flipping through old photos, arouse my dusty memories.Remember, 20XX, in the military training base, our school team to visit you, is catching up with you in the hot sun to practice standing posture, the instructor told me that this is "I have ever seen the most strong will of the students."I remember that in 20xx, in the final district unified examination, it was you who created the history of winning the second place in Longgang District by equal points of multiple cultural disciplines. You told everyone with your efforts and actions that "everything is possible as long as you work hard."I remember that in 20xx, in the science and culture festival, you created an 8-meter long scroll "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival", and you performed a large-scale poem reciting "Ode to Chinese Etiquette" in the rain. At that time, a leader who visited our school said to me, "This is the real quality education."Of course, you will not forget the college entranceexamination, the red carpet, and teachers high five refueling, so confident, so heroic, so exciting. At that moment, I said to myself "This is our greatest educational achievement, you are xx forever proud."This touching photo will not only be treasured in the archives, but also in the minds of every xx forever.Because, she recorded your colorful youth, witnessed your growth footprint, froze many warm moments. But I also know that life cannot and should not be frozen in photographs.Today, you will leave here, resolutely to the distance of lifes dreams.Facing the distance, I believe you must be full of longing, lofty feelings. But, dear students, have not thought, you why to go far? Please do not forget, only reading can reach far.As much as you have read, dear children, as your president, I want to tell you that I would much rather see you stop studying for tests, stop studying for what you need.Reading is a lifetime thing, reading will give you wisdom and spirit, give you the direction and method of the distance;Remember, there is still peace so far away.Impetuosity will not take you far away, do not for immediate fame and wealth and exhaust your passion for life, do not shake the direction of your life for the cold and hot professional.Students, if you want to send far away, dont go too far in the direction of small wisdom, think more about big wisdom, big pattern;Dont go too far in the direction of complaining, think about how to build, how to grow;Dont go too far in the direction of hatred, think more about tolerance and gratitude;Dont go too far in the direction of utilitarianism and tackiness. Think about the dedication and dedication of your parents and teachers.Dontgo too far in the direction of self-righteousness, think more about the dream at the beginning.Boys, always remember why you set out."We have gone so far that we have forgotten why we started," said The Lebanese poet Gibran. We should not pursue education for the sake of education, so that we forget the social responsibility of higher education; We should not succeed for the sake of success, so that we forget the mission and responsibility behind success; We should not be individualistic for individualistic sake, so that we forget the essence of human nature and the direction of progress. As president, as teachers, everyone here is eager to see you go faster and climb higher in your life. But I want to tell you right now that you dont have to go too fast on your way to a distant place. The Indians told us not to run too fast, but to let our souls follow;Do not too deliberately pursue must go far, "know" can be far.Class, please take an old photo for a trip. When confused, the old photos of "seeking truth, kindness and beauty" may help you point the way.In times of despair, that old picture of you as a miracle may give you strength to move forward. When you succeed, old pictures of "progressive happiness" may add even more joy and happiness.毕业典礼英文演讲稿3Members of the Parent Council, Parents, teachers and students:Everybody is good!Today is the graduation ceremony day of our school, this years graduates, thanks to all the superiors and distinguished guests, in their busy schedule to come to guide, and give a lot of precious prizes to encourage students, on behalf of the teachersand students to the highest respect and gratitude.Dear graduates, graduation is only the end of one stage of learning, but also the beginning of another. After three years of hard study in Sacred Heart, the students finally finished their study with perseverance, patience and perseverance. All the officers, distinguished guests, parents and teachers present here are happy and congratulating you.In the past three years, every teacher of Sacred Heart has not only taught you knowledge, but also guided many people and things. As you are leaving school today, the headmaster would like to remind and encourage you.I think in todays society, there are a lot of people at the time of frustration, or work not smooth, will think of going to fortune tellers, we are not against fortune tellers, but more importantly, each one should carry his own life, go your own way and the master of himself is the fate, want to change your fate, create a new bureau, only by knowing yourself, settled themselves, their own have a real possibility,So how do you create yourself? I think you should have four things;Thats faith, concept, connection, ability. The first faith: the purpose of faith is to let us cultivate the mind and mind full of faith. What letter of the word mother source ethics, self-restraint all the good faith can cultivate good roots, can help us to bother brain, beautify life, the future is expected, life have to rely on, when everyone enjoying the material life, more need to have a soul of nutrients to nourish, soft, especially young people need through religion to balance the body and mind more, Ann lives of body and mind. The second idea: each of us should have the right idea, especially in this era of rapid competition, our idea should change with the change of external environment at any time;Theso-called mountain does not turn the road, the road does not turn people, people do not turn the heart, everyone should be timely, appropriate, appropriate situation, appropriate situation to adjust the correct outlook on life, so that they can be full of confidence to accept every challenge. The third affinity: as the saying goes, people are prosperous, wealth is prosperous, and good affinity is to maintain high quality interpersonal relationship with others. Whether a persons connections are abundant or weak is an important key to success.A smile, a greeting can become attached to others, please do not be stingy. The fourth ability: People often complain: Why do I always fail to achieve the goal and desire to succeed, but do we have enough ability to open the door to success? A product has good quality and marketing plan, but if there is no good execution ability, no matter how good the product is, it will not sell well. Therefore, it is very important to develop your own professional field and executive skills.Dear students: as the saying goes: fortune makes life, the opportunity is infinite, do you want to create the spring of your life please do not forget, you must have a firm belief, correct concept, good contacts, advantage ability, with the above conditions, I believe your future will be full of spring flowers, brilliant. Finally, wish: graduates, bright prospects, bright future!Blessing: school students, academic progress, happy body and mind!I wish: distinguished guests, good health and all the best! 毕业典礼英文演讲稿4Dear teachers and students:Everybody is good!Today, we are here to hold the graduation ceremony of the class of 20XX.First of all, on behalf of the school, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the students who have successfully completed their studies in junior high school after three years of hard work, and pay high tribute to the teachers who have cultivated the healthy growth of the students. At this moment, I have a lot of feelings.Three years ago, you entered the depression door with confidence and hope, three years later, you harvest success and dreams are about to embark on a new journey in life.Look back on more than a thousand days when you "dreamed and struggled, gave and enjoyed, achieved and exceeded".The process of learning is lonely and hard, but the result is always exciting and surprising. In this past years, I as your president, moved you moved, harvest your harvest, success in your success! Some people say that youth is too hasty a book.Yes, three years, more than a thousand pages so quickly turned over, but the Alma mater and teachers, forget you in the classroom assiduous figure, forget you stay in the Alma mater all the beautiful little drops!Over the past three years, you have learned to be curious and more positive. You learned to be a man, to be tolerant and kind; You learned to live together, know humility and comity; You have learned to do things and are thriving. In the past three years, you have developed a strong teacher-student relationship with your teachers.Teachers in giving you knowledge and ability, teach you philosophy of life, but also theirselfless love for you, give you meticulous care.In this regard, let us use warm applause to all the students hard work, dedicated teachers to express our heartfelt thanks again!Junior high school graduation, for you this is just an important stage of life journey, you become the road, but also a long journey. We cannot make cheap predictions about your future, nor can we make easy predictions about your future."Difficulties and hardships, yu Yu cheng", success only by their own efforts, success only by their own hard work.Students, you are about to embark on a new journey of learning, I want to give you three words:The first sentence: the sea is wide by diving, the sky is high as the birds fly, I hope you will study in any school in the future, can be diligent, meticulous, and achieve good results. The second sentence is "cultivate morality, aim high", I hope that no matter what kind of career you are engaged in in the future, you can work steadily in your own post, and strive to become the backbone, the mainstay of society, become the pillar of the society. The third sentence is firmly believe that "mountains and rivers doubt there is no way, a bright future and a village", no matter what difficulties encountered in study and work in the future, never be discouraged, to use a healthy and optimistic psychological and normal positive attitude to face, believe that love to fight will win!Believe that "sunshine always after the wind and rain"!Dear students, bid farewell to the familiar campus, bid farewell to the teachers and students who get along with each other day and night, bid farewell to this nostalgic life station, infinite broad and beautiful prospects are unfolding in front ofyou.I hope you will cherish the unforgettable years in your Alma mater forever and never forget the ardent expectations of your teachers. 关于大学毕业典礼英文演讲稿5篇大学毕业典礼英文演讲稿【篇1】Madam President Faust, members of the Harvard Corporation and the Board of Overseers, faculty, family, friends, and, most importantly, todays graduates,Thank you for letting me share this wonderful day with you.I am not sure I can live up to the high standards of Harvard Commencement speakers. Lastyear, J.K. Rowling, the billionaire novelist, who started as a classics student, graced thispodium. The year before, Bill Gates, the mega-billionaire philanthropist and computer nerdstood here. Today, sadly, you have me. I am not wealthy, but at least I am a nerd.I am grateful to receive an honorary degree from Harvard, an honor that means more to methan you might care to imagine. You see, I was the academic black sheep of my family. Myolder brother has an M.D./Ph.D. from MIT and Harvard while my younger brother has a lawdegree from Harvard. When I was awarded a Nobel Prize, I thought my mother would besatisfied. Not so. When I called her on the morning of the announcement, she replied,"Thatsnice, but when are you going to visit me next." Now, as the last brother with a degree fromHarvard, maybe, at last, she will be satisfied.Another difficulty with giving a Harvard commencement address is that some of you maydisapprove of the fact that I have borrowed material from previous speeches. I ask that youforgive me for two reasons.First, in order to have impact, it is important to deliver the same message more than once. Inscience, it is important to be the first person to make a discovery, but it is even more importantto be the last person to make that discovery.Second, authors who borrow from others are following in the footsteps of the best. Ralph WaldoEmerson, who graduated from Harvard at the age of 18, noted "All my best thoughts werestolen by the ancients." Picasso declared "Good artists borrow. Great artists steal." Why shouldcommencement speakers be held to a higher standard?I also want to point out the irony of speaking to graduates of an institution that would haverejected me, had I the chutzpah to apply. I am married to "Dean Jean," the former dean ofadmissions at Stanford. She assures me that she would have rejected me, if given the chance. When I showed her a draft of this speech, she objected strongly to my use of the word"rejected." She never rejected applicants; her letters stated that "we are unable to offer youadmission." I have difficulty understanding the difference. After all, deans of admissions ofhighly selective schools are in reality, "deans of rejection." Clearly, I have a lot to learn aboutmarketing. My address will follow the classical sonata form of commencement addresses. The firstmovement, just presented, were light-hearted remarks. This next movement consists ofunsolicited advice, which is rarely valued, seldom remembered, never followed. As Oscar Wildesaid,"The only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on. It is never of any use to oneself."So, here comes the advice. First, every time you celebrate an achievement, be thankful tothose who made it possible. Thankyour parents and friends who supported you, thank yourprofessors who were inspirational, and especially thank the other professors whoseless-than-brilliant lectures forced you to teach yourself. Going forward, the ability to teach yourself is thehallmark of a great liberal arts education and will be the key to your success. To your fellowstudents who have added immeasurably to your education during those late night discussions, hug them. Also, of course, thank Harvard. Should you forget, theres an alumni association toremind you. Second, in your future life, cultivate a generous spirit. In all negotiations, dontbargain for the last, little advantage. Leave the change on the table. In your collaborations, always remember that "credit" is not a conserved quantity. In a successful collaboration, everybody gets 90 percent of the credit.大学毕业典礼英文演讲稿【篇2】Answering speechDear professors and dear friends of China Jiliang University,I’m honored to address you on behalf of all the graduations this year.I would like to thank my parents, classmates, and friends who helped us ,and encouraged and supported us as we worked towards to our graduate degrees.I also want to thank Jiliang’s faculty members who served as our instructors, mentor, and friends, relatives, like Prof.Yu, Prof.Gao, Mrs. Liang. Through their commitments, they have inspired us to achieve and guided us to our dream. On this stage, at my graduation ceremony, when I look back my four years at Jiliang, my mind is filled with memories. May be you will ask me: do you have special to share? Yes, I want to share few simple but critical suggestions with you and with for the coming juniors: First, be work hard and think smart.Secondly, believe things happened for a reason.Thirdly, just as Jobs said at the graduation ceremony in Stanford University, stay hungry, stay foolish.Today, we will graduate from China Jiliang University, but we will be with Jiliang forever. Let us think forward and work together to make the new history of China Jiliang University.Thank you.大学毕业典礼英文演讲稿【篇3】When I was in middle school, a poisonous spider bit my right hand.I ran to my mom for help—but instead of taking me to a doctor, my mom set my hand on fire. After wrapping my hand withseveral layers of cotton, then soaking it in wine, she put a chopstick into my mouth, and ignited the cotton. Heat quickly penetrated the cotton and began to roast my hand. The searing pain made me want to scream, but the chopstick prevented it. All I could do was watch my hand burn - one minute, then two minutes –until mom put out the fire. You see, the part of China I grew up in was a rural village, and at that time pre-industrial. When I was born, my village had no cars, no telephones, no electricity, not even running water. And we certainly didn’t have access to modern medical resources. There was no doctor my mother could bring me to see about my spider bite. For those who study biology, you may have grasped the science behind my mom’s cure: heat deactivates proteins, and a spider’s venom is simply a form of protein. It’s coolhow that folk remedy actually incorporates basic biochemistry, isn’t itBut I am a PhD student in biochemistry at Harvard, I now know that better, less painful and less risky treatments existed. So I can’t help but ask myself, why I didn’t receive oneat the time.Fifteen years have passed since that incident. I am happy to report that my hand is fine. But this question lingers, and I continue to be troubled by the unequal distribution of scientific knowledge throughout the world. We have learned to edit the human genome and unlock many secrets of how cancer progresses. We can manipulate neuronal activity literally with the switch of a light. Each year brings more advances in biomedical research-exciting, transformative accomplishments. Yet, despite the knowledge we have amassed, we haven’t been so successful in deploying it to where it’s needed most. According to the World Bank, twelve percent of the world’s population lives on less than $2 a day. Malnutrition kills more than 3 million children annually. Three hundred million peopleare afflicted by malaria globally. All over the world, we constantly see these problems of poverty, illness, and lack of resources impeding the flow of scientific information. Lifesaving knowledge we take for granted in the modern world is often unavailable in these underdeveloped regions. And infar too many places, people are still essentially trying to cure a spider bite with fire. While studying at Harvard, I saw how scientific knowledge can help others in simple, yet profound ways. The bird flu pandemic in the 2000s looked to my village like a spell cast by demons. Our folk medicine didn’t even have half-measures to offer. What’s more, farmers didn’t know the difference between common cold and flu; they didn’t understand that the flu was much more lethal than the common cold. Most people were also unaware that the virus could transmit across different species. So when I realized that simple hygiene practices like separating different animal species could contain the spread of the disease, and that I could help make this knowledge available to my village, that was my first ―Aha‖moment as a budding scientist. But it was more than that: it was also a vital inflection point in my own ethical development, my ownself-understanding as a member of the global community.Harvard dares us to dream big, to aspire to change the world. Here on this Commencement Day, we are probably thinking of grand destinations and big adventures that await us. As for me, I am also thinking of the farmers in my village. My experiencehere reminds me how important it is for researchersto communicateour knowledge to those who need it. Because by using the sciencewe already have, wecould probably bring my village and thousands like it into the world you and I take for granted every day. And that’s an impact every one of us can make! But the question is, will we make the effort or notMore than ever before, our society emphasizes science and innovation. But an equally important emphasis should be on distributing the knowledge we have to where it’s needed. Changing the world doesn’t mean thateveryone has to find the next big thing. It can be as simple as becoming better communicators, and finding more creative ways to pass on the knowledge we have to people like my mom and the farmers in their local community. Our society also needs to recognize that the equal distribution of knowledge is a pivotal step of human development, and work to bring this into reality. And if we do that, then perhaps a teenager in rural China who is bitten by a spider will not have to burn his hand, but will know to seek a doctor instead.大学毕业典礼英文演讲稿【篇4】Honorable teachers, principles, dear parents and students:Good morning to you all. On this sunny and unforgettable day, we gladly welcome you to our grade 12’s graduation ceremony. Two years ago, when we first came to this program and began our three years of high school education. You will walk towards the light of the glory of tomorrow, with our best wishes from the bottom of our hearts! Go for it Best of Luck,TheGrade11’s大学毕业典礼英文演讲稿【篇5】Unlike any other creature on this planet, humans can learn and understand, without having experienced. They can think themselves into other people’s minds, imagine themselves into other people’s places.Of course, this is a power, like my brand of fictional magic, that is morally neutral. One of the many things I learned at the end of that Classics corridor down which I ventured at the age of 18, in search of something I could not then define, was this, written by the Greek author Plutarch: What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality. That is an astonishing statement and yet proven a thousand times every day of our lives. It expresses, in part, our inescapable connection with the outside world, the fact that we touch other people’s lives simply by existing. But how much more are you, Harvard graduates of 20XX, likely to touch other people’s lives? We do not need magic to change the world, wecarry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.I am nearly finished. I have one last hope for you, which is something that I already had at 21. The friends with whom I sat on graduation day have been my friends for life. They are my children’s godparents, the people to whom I’ve been able to turn in times of trouble, friends who have been kind enough not to sue me when I’ve used their names for Death Eaters. At our graduation we were bound by enormous affection, by our shared experience of a time that could never come again, and, of course, by the knowledge that we held certain photographic evidence that would be exceptionally valuable if any of us ran for Prime Minister. So today, I can wish you nothing better than similar friendships. And tomorrow, I hope that even if you remember not a single word of mine, you remember those of Seneca, another of those old Romans I met when I fled down the Classics corridor, in retreat from career ladders, in search of ancient wisdom:。

One of the finest universities in the nation was willing to bet on me. I was, and I remain, eternally grateful for the opportunity to attend and graduate in the Trinity Class of 1979. My Duke degree and our Blue Devil family have opened more doors than I could have imagined and stood in support when I needed it the most.Graduates, today, we still find ourselves in the same morass of exclusion and intolerance I experienced all those years ago. The high degree of acrimony is unyielding and discouraging, but I want to make sure you hear this: Discouragement doesn’t have to be debilitating. If anything, discouragement should drive you to open your own doors and design your own future. And just remember when you open those doors, there will be people on the other side. Some of them will be cheerleaders, and some of them will be critics. The challenges you face on your uphill climb will often come with an audience, because the reality is this: Adversity doesn’t happen always in pri vate.I know this all too well.英语演讲稿2As I said, my grandfather was a pastor for 50 plus years, leading the civil rights movement and marches, desegregating the public transit system and helping the first African-Americanpolicemen secure steady jobs. My father was a physician, one of only 100 black doctors in Atlanta when he started his practice, and my mother was a civic leader who co-founded a coalition of neighborhoods across segregated communities.Following in the tradition of my elders, I pursued a role in public service as President of the City Council and you heard that I served for six years. As the leader of the Legislative Branch of municipal government, I learned all the mechanics and the operations of the City. And when it was time for my next step, I threw my hat in the ring and ran for Mayor.I entered as the front runner with the highest name recognition. I raised a ton of money, I knocked on tens of thousands of doors. That said, there were issues along the way; my parents became ill – my father with the ravages of diabetes and two amputated legs and my mother diagnosed with the early onset of dementia – and I decided I needed to withdraw from the race to look after them. But my father, he wasn’t having it. He told me I need to step up! That I should return to the race and try to get elected and give back to the city that had given us so much. But by then, my campaign’s momentum was gone. I lost the race and I was absolutely devastated. Every question you can possibly image went through my head. Had the people of Atlanta forgotten me? Had they forgotten all the work that I had done? Did they lose faith in me? Were they disappointing [disappointed]?英语演讲稿3After three days of self-pity, my perspective changed. I realized there were more ways to serve my fellow citizens and my city than just being in elective office. But the lesson became crystal clear several roles into thefuture. And graduates, here’s the lesson:Failure’s not fatal. It’s feedback.Did you hear me? Put that in your phones. Failure is not fatal. It’s feedback.I wasn’t supposed to be the Mayor. Had I been the Mayor, I would not have been available to work as a senior officer at the Coca-Cola company where my maternal grandparents had worked for a combined 45 years – jobs that enabled my mother and her sister to be ‘first generation college graduates’.Nor would I perhaps have been on the radar to become a trustee here at Duke, alongside my good friend and fellow Dukie, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. Ya’ll know who that is? That’s a bad boy.And had I not met Adam, I may never have been a candidate for the President of the WNBA, the Women’s National Basketball Association, somebody say amen, one of the most rewarding roles that I have ever undertaken.英语演讲稿4So, I’m not just asking you, I’m advising you to anticipate defeat, strongly advising it. Don’t be surprised when it comes your way. Acknowledge it. Engage with inquisitive abandon and leave indelible fingerprints wherever you may go. Search for environments that may give you grief but they may also help you to grow. Now, no one taught me the importance of that existential exploration better than my parents. And it was my father who showed me that in fact, it is in discomfort that we find our most defining moments. My dad became a doctor because he knew the circumstances were not the same for everybody, that some people were not asfortunate as our family was. And as he put it, he wanted to eliminate “dis-ease.” Are you with me, graduates? “Dis-ease.” That’s exactly how he said it to me.When I was a little girl, I would go on house calls with him. The patients all knew and loved him and I saw how much he prided himself on being a caretaker, someone who did his very best to reverse their compromised positions of his patients – to put their mind and bodies at ease. But there was one house call I remember in particular. It’s seared in the back of my brain as if it happened yesterday. His diabetic patient was having a hypoglycemic attack. He told me to get the orange juice. I did, an d I watched him save a woman’s life that day.英语演讲稿5I’ve never been able to shake the haunting feeling of this specific house call because of the significance it would take on later in my own life –and it reminds me, of course, that even doctors can meet the same inevitable fate of becoming patients. When I tried to tend to the diabetes my father developed later in life, I thought of that woman’s shaking, pale face. And when I looked at his limbs –a double amputee, and recognized he was in renal failure, I thought of how he fought for a life, when she could not fight for her own.And I thought of how in his twilight years, he was experiencing the same discomfort and dis-ease he had so seamlessly kept at bay for everyone else. But even so, I knew we were lucky, my family. We could afford my father’s insulin. We could afford to do what it took to take care of him.。

Life is no more than a mountain, outside the Castle Peak outside the building, life is rich and free. The writing of the pen is no longer wild and proud. It is written in a small brush. It is written in a small print. It is really exquisite and real. When we met again after many years, looking back at a smile, Yunlong brother was safe. In the twinkling of an eye, three years have passed. We must say goodbye to our dear teacher, and we must say goodbye to our classmates. No campus corner has left our footprints. Wherever we go,whatever we see, we can evoke a string of memories.Thinking back three years ago, we came together with innocence and hope. We are energetic and enthusiastic, and we are full of vision and expectation for the future. In the past three years, we have been enjoying the intense and intense school life in the sweat and feeling the concern of the teacher. In the study, we are in the teachers inculcate teaching gradually sensible, in the teachers patient and meticulous teaching happy learning; in life, we are in the teachers care under the care of the healthy growth, in the teachers care to feel the warmth of the family. Thousands of words do not mean our friendship with teachers. We can not finish our lingering nostalgia for teachers. Three years of study and life, more than 1# days and nights, a teacher and teacher to talk to the heart of the heart, there is a teachers enthusiastic guidance, by the school leadership of the teachings in the busy schedule. There are encouragement, criticism, munication and guidance, all of which are the most precious wealth in our hearts. The mid-term exam is, after all, the first most sacred test in our life, and its pressure can be imagined. You know, teacher, your affectionate gaze is our strongest dependence. I believe that all the sweat and ideals of hard work will be transformed into a good news report. We know that it is the best reward for your long selfless dedication.Yes, we are full of confidence in this. Teacher, I feel your expectations, your eyes. Now I can still remember every smile you have, every time you talk, your every lesson is still fresh in our mind. Without recollection, everything is so vivid and very gratifying. Teacher, we really do not want to talk about leaving, we are deeply attached to you and campus. We should follow the school style of civilization, enterprising, realistic and innovative. Under the encouragement of the school motto ofMing and Germany, the learning, the diligence and the seeking, we should study hard and innovate under the inspiring of learning good thinking, respecting teachers and keeping discipline, improving themselves and developing harmoniously. We want to graduate from the alma mater and face the teachers and younger brothers and sisters, we hope that you will cherish the time, study hard and fight hard. Facing the beloved teachers, we wish you health, the smooth work, the peach and plum all over the world; in the face of the dear alma mater, we want to engrave you in the heart, no matter in the future. Wherever we go, we will be proud to say that we are alma mater.毕业典礼演讲稿英文精选篇5In the past decade alone, we’ve seen his toric hurricanes devastate islands across the Caribbean. We’ve seen ‘1,#-year floods’ hit the Midwestern and Southern United States multiple times in a decade. And we’ve seen record-breaking wildfires ravage California and record-breaking typhoons kill thousands in the Philippines. This is a true crisis. And if we fail to rise to the occasion, your generation, your children, and grandchildren will pay a terrible price. So scientists know there can be no delay in taking action – and many government and political leaders around the world are starting to understand that.Yet here in the United States, our federal government is seeking to bee the only country in the world to withdrawfromthe Paris Climate Agreement – the only one. But when they ignore the climate crisis, they are not only putting themselves at risk, they are putting all humanity at risk.。

大学毕业英语演讲稿范文1I believe in our futureHonorable Judges, fellow students:Good afternoon!Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country? The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money. The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer. As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turningpoint in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future. 大学毕业英语演讲稿范文2Good morning, dear faculty members, distinguished guests, families, friends and most importantly, today’s graduates. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak to you here on behalf of the graduates. This is a memorable day both in our personal lives and in the life of this school.Four years ago, we entered Sanjing university. Some of us may have doubted that if we had made the right decision, but now, because of the friends we made , because of the sadness and happiness we shared, because of the teachers who gave us guidance, because of all the time in Sanjiang we spent and all activities we participated in, we could not tear ourselves away from the dear campus. It’s difficult to contemplate that perhaps some of us may never see each other again. But we have so rich memeries and experiences that we will never foget each other.Today we enter the real world to face the challenge .With the knowledge and friends we gained from our university, with the endurance, perseverance, industry we possess, every obstacle that we may encounter in our lives will be overcome. I believe that everyone will make every effort to strive for our life. And remember, an ideal job is not found lying in the street; it takes time and effort to find. But in the end, it will be there for you. Sodon’t settle for second best and keep lo oking.Importantly, We are here today to give our thanks to the unconditional support of each of you, your words of encouragement in good times and your words of consolation in difficult moments. We thank you for your enormous patience with us, for always giving a little more than we asked for and for instilling in us the values and principles that govern our lives now and helping us to become the people we are. The degree that we will receive today also belongs to you.Last, I would like to congratulate each of you for having reached this goal. We did it, and now we are ready to graduate! 大学毕业英语演讲稿范文3One Student Is Just Like a FlowerMy dear Mr. and Misses, my fellows schoolmates,Good morning! As you know and see, it is a sunny bump harvest season. In the city, in our school campus, everywhere is surrounded with roses which we together planted 4 years ago. Today may these roses and our friendship as well be together and comfort our excited hearts! It was four years ago that everyone of us came from every p art of China and formed a new collective. As we are young, it’s very easy for us to communicate. It was in the past four years that we were ambitious. It was in the past four years that we worried. It was in the past four years that we were content. It was in the past four years that we were vexed. It was in the past four years that we were friendly and lonely ... and it was in the past fours that we studied, lived and respected each other with genuine and with our ambitions. Nothing in the world is more significant than we miss all of these. We miss you─teachers who are tireless in teaching; we willkeep your gestures and your white hairs in our hearts deeply; we will miss the quietness with the lights at night in the classroom; we will miss the race and exercise on the playground; we will miss even the crowds in the dining hall and the quarrel on the beds; we will still miss every green piece and every piece of waste paper flying like flakes in the air ... However, today we will leave nothing but the first rose with our Alma Mater and our teachers which is entrusted with our love and respect.4 years seems very long but 4 years seems very short. From now on, we all will go into the society. The society is broad and wide for us. We will shoulder heavy responsibilities; we will work diligently; and we will expect to be informed of good news from one another. Now, I beg you all to cherish the occasion; to remember the names, the status, appearance and the character of the person around you. Now let’s be hand in hand together; let’s present the rose to each other. May the rose carry our appreciation and blessing! We are very closely linked no matter what the world may be. May the fresh rose in our hands keep its fragrants!Thank you all again!。

应届毕业典礼出彩三分钟英语演讲稿范文五篇

应届毕业典礼出彩三分钟英语演讲稿范文五篇英语演讲稿1If I could teach a class in how to live your best life, it would include some gems I've gotten from world leaders. But also some I have not. Yes, it does pay to floss. Yes, you need to look people in the eye when you speak to them. You need to keep your commitments, you need to make your bed every day because when you do, it makes your whole house look better. And you need to leave your cell phone away at the dinner table.I put so many of those in a book that I did for graduates like you. I wrote The Path Made Clear with gems of wisdom from thought leaders. Since I know you just wanna get that diploma, I’m gonna save all my wisdom for my book…You get a book and you get a book and you get a book! Everybody gets a book! Congratulations class of2022!As the chairman said, I majored in electrical engineering. So I know what you’re all thinking –it’s a shame he was never able to put his degree to good use. I thought that was funnier than you did, thank you.Let me start with the most important message that I can deliver today – congratulations to the distinguished graduates of the great Class of 2022. You made it. All those long hours studying, and in the lab, the quizzes, the papers, and the swim tests, it was all for today – well, that and the brass rat.英语演讲稿2Even though I went to a school up the river, for today’s address, I wanted to feel what it was like to be a student here at MIT. So on my way over here, I walked through the Infinite Corridor and elbowed my way through 100 tourists. Did they know that MattDamon doesn’t actually work here as a janitor, right?Last night, I also paid a visit to one of this university’s most iconic places – the Muddy. I told the graduates there that I had some good news and some bad news. The bad news was I won’t be repaying your entire classes student loans. Sorry. But I told them the good news was I would be picking up the tab for the ne某t round of drinks. That seemed to help matters. As e某cited as all you are today, there’s another group h ere that is beaming with pride and that deserves a big round of applause – your parents and your families. Some of them are sitting out there thinking, our kids are getting a degree from the world’s most prestigious engineering school, and yet when they come home, they don’t seem to know how to use the washer/dryer?英语演讲稿3You’ve been very lucky, seriously, to study at a place that attracts some of the brightest minds in the world. And during your time here, MIT has e某tended his tradition of groundbreaking research and innovation. Most of you were here when LIGO proved that Einstein was right about gravitational waves, something that I – as a Johns Hopkins engineering graduate – claimed all along. And just this spring, MIT scientists and astronomers helped to capture the first-ever image of a black hole. Those really are incredible accomplishments at MIT. And they are especially incredible when you consider that the Wi-Fi barely works here. For God’s sakes, how many PhDs did it take t o plug in a router? But really, all of you are a part of an amazing institution that has proven – time and time again – that human knowledge andachievement is limitless. In fact, this is the place that proved moonshots are worth taking.50 years ago this month – or ne某t month, I guess it is – the Apollo 11 lunar module touched down on the moon. It’s fair to say the crew never would have gotten there without MIT. And I don’t just mean that because Buzz Aldrin was class of ‘63 here, and tookRichar d Battin’s famous astrodynamics course. As Chairman Millard mentioned, the Apollo 11 literally got there thanks to its navigation and control systems that were designed right here at what is now the Draper Laboratory.Successfully putting a man on the moon required solving so many comple某 problems. How to physically guide a spacecraft on a half-million-mile journey was arguably the biggest one, and your fellow alums and professors solved it by building a one-cubic-foot computer at the time when computers were giant machines that filled whole rooms. The only reason those MIT engineers even tried to build that computer in the first place was that they had been asked to help do something that people thought was either impossible or unnecessary. Going to the moon was not a popular idea back in the 1960s. And Congress didn’t want to pay for it. Imagine that – a Congress that didn’t want to invest in science. Go figure – that would never happen today.英语演讲稿4President Kennedy needed to persuade the ta某payers that a manned mission to the moon was possible and worth doing. So in 1962, he delivered a speech that inspired the country. He said, quote, “We choose to go to the moon this decade, and to do other things, notbecause they are easy, but because they are hard.〞Sorry, I didn’t mean to say “hard.〞I meant to say hard. I don’t want to lose my Boston accent. In that one sentence, Kennedy summed up mankind’s inherent need to reach for the stars. He continued by saying, quote, “That challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one that we are unwilling to postpone, and one that we intend to win.〞In other words, for the good of the United States, and humanity, it had to be done. And he was right. Neil Armstrong took a great leap for mankind. The U.S. won a major Cold War victory, and decades of scientific innovation led to an unprecedented era of technological advancement. The inventions that emerged from the moonshot changed the world: satellite television, computer microchips, CAT scan machines, and many other things that we now take for granted – even video game joysticks. Yes, there really was a life before 某bo某.The world we live in today is fundamentally different, not just because we landed on the moon, but because we tried to get there in the first place. In hindsight, President Kennedy’s call for the original moonshot at e某actly the right moment in history was brilliant. And the brightest minds of their generation – many of them MIT graduates – delivered it.英语演讲稿5Today, I believe that we are living in a similar moment. And once again, we’ll be counting on MIT graduates – all of you – to lead us.But this time, our most important and pressing mission – your generation’s mission – is not to e某plore deep space and reachfaraway places. It is to save our own planet, the one that we’re living on, from climate change. And unlike 1962, the primary challenge before you is not scientific or technological. It is political. The fact is we’ve already pioneer ed the technology to tackle climate change. We know how to power buildings using sun and wind. We know how to power vehicles using batteries charged with renewable energy. We know how to power factories and industries using hydrogen and fuel cells. And we know that these innovations don’t require us to sacrifice financially or economically. Just the opposite, these investments, on balance, create jobs and save money.Yes, all of those power sources need to be brought to scale –and that will require further scientific innovation, which we need you to help lead. But the question isn’t how to tackle climate change. We’ve known how to do that for many years. The question is: why the hell are we moving so slowly? The race we are in is against time, and we are losing. And with each passing year, it becomes clearer just how far behind we’ve fallen, and how fast the situation is deteriorating, and how tragic the results can be.。

大学毕业典礼英语演讲稿
graduates of yale university, i apologize if you have endured this type of prologue before, but i want you to do something for me. please, take a ood look around you. look at the classmate on your left. look at the classmate on your right. now, consider this: five years from now, 10 years from now, even 30 years from now, odds are the person on your left is going to be a loser. the person on your right, meanwhile, will also be a loser. and you, in the middle? what can you expect? loser. loserhood. loser cum laude.
"in fact, as i look out before me today, i don't see a thousand hopes for a bright tomorrow. i don't see a thousand future leaders in a thousand industries. i see a thousand losers.
"you're upset. that's understandable. after all, how can i, lawrence 'larry' ellison, college dropout, have the audacity to spout such heresy to the graduating class of one of the nation's most prestigious institutions? i'll tell you why. because i, lawrence "larry" ellison, second richest man on the planet, am a college dropout, and you are not.
"because bill gates, richest man on the planet -- for
now, anyway -- is a college dropout, and you are not.
"because paul allen, the third richest man on the planet, dropped out of college, and you did not.
"and for good measure, because michael dell, no. 9 on the list and moving up fast, is a college dropout, and you, yet again, are not.
"hmm . . . you're very upset. that's understandable. so let me stroke your egos for a moment by pointing out, quite sincerely, that your diplomas were not attained in vain. most of you, i imagine, have spent four to five years here, and in many ways what you've learned and endured will serve you well in the years ahead. you've established good work habits. you've established a network of people that will help you down the road. and you've established what will be lifelong relationships with the word 'therapy.' all that of is good. for in truth, you will need that network. you will need those strong work habits. you will need that therapy.
"you will need them because you didn't drop out, and so you will never be among the richest people in the world. oh sure, you may, perhaps, work your way up to no. 10 or no. 11, like steve ballmer. but then, i don't have to tell
you who he really works for, do i? and for the record, he dropped out of grad school. bit of a late bloomer.
"finally, i realize that many of you, and hopefully by now most of you, are wondering, 'is there anything i can do? is there any hope for me at all?' actually, no. it's too late. you've absorbed too much, think you know too much. you're not 19 anymore. you have a built-in cap, and i'm not referring to the mortar boards on your heads.
"hmm... you're really very upset. that's understandable. so perhaps this would be a good time to bring up the silver lining. not for you, class of '00. you are a write-off, so i'll let you slink off to your pathetic $200,000-a-year jobs, where your checks will be signed by former classmates who dropped out two years ago.
"instead, i want to give hope to any underclassmen here today. i say to you, and i can't stress this enough: leave. pack your things and your ideas and don't come back. drop out. start up.
"for i can tell you that a cap and gown will keep you down just as surely as these security guards dragging me off this stage are keeping me down . . ."
(at this point the oracle ceo was ushered off stage.)。
