1.As well as reading the right audience with the right technique, advertisers must

also place their ads in the right medium.

2.As well as worrying about the expense, advertisers must also consider which media are most appropriate for their product and which their target audience is most likely to see or hear.

2, Fast reading to get the general idea of the text.

1, where do you see or hear ads ?

2, Can you think of anywhere else you see or hear ads?

3, Do you think ads affect your life in any way, eg, do you dress differently because of what you see in ads or buy things

you might not otherwise buy?

4, How many ads do you think you see or hear every day? Can you remember the names of any products that were being ads ?

If so, why do you remember these and not others?

1, Look at each of the ads on the next two pages and discuss the questions with a partner.

1, What does the ads want u to do?

2, how does it try to persuade u to do this?

3, Which ads do you think are the most effective? Why?
