From the very top, we could see the entire city laid out in front of us - the River Thames, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and more. The views were just breathtaking.Another highlight was visiting the Tower of London. Our guide told us all about the gruesome history of the towers and the imprisoned kings and queens who lost their heads there. We even got to see the amazing crown jewels! They were so sparkly and beautiful.Of course, no trip to London would be complete without seeing a show in the famous theater district. We went to see the musical "Wicked" and it was simply magical. The singing, dancing, and special effects were out of this world.After a week exploring London, we took a train up to Edinburgh, Scotland for a few days. I loved walking along the hilly cobblestone streets and seeing the massive EdinburghCastle up on the cliffs. We visited the castle and learned that it was built way back in the 12th century!
