We filled up the cart with all my favorite snacks - chips, cookies, candy, and soda pop. I was so excited because I knew we were getting ready for my cousin Mark to come visit us for the weekend. When we got home from the store, my mom and I cleaned the whole house from top to bottom. We dusted, vacuumed, scrubbed the bathrooms, and even washed all the sheets and towels. By the time we finished, the house was spotless and smelled amazing. Right on time, the doorbell rang and there was Mark with his parents. My aunt, uncle and Mark stepped inside, and I gave Mark a big hug. It had been over a year since I last saw him because he lives all the way across the country in California. We were both super happy to see each other again. After the adults chatted fora little while, Mark's parents said goodbye and left him with us for the fun weekend visit. My mom ordered pizza for dinner that night, and after we ate, Mark and I played video games until way past our bedtimes. We stayed up so late because we were having such a blast reuniting and catching up. We could have played games all night, but eventually my mom made us turn everything off and go to sleep. The next morning, we woke up bright and early because my dad had a special day planned for us. First, we all piled into the car and drove an hour to the Outdoor Adventure Park. When we arrived, Mark and I were amazed by all the cool activities - ziplining, rock climbing, paddleboating, hiking trails, and more.We started on the giant zipline course that went high up into the trees and over a huge lake. I was scared at first, but Mark helped me feel braver. We zipped along seeming to fly through the air. It was an incredible adrenaline rush! After that, we did some rock climbing on this massive rock wall. I only made it about halfway up before getting too tired, but Mark was a climbing expert and raced all the way to the top.For lunch, we had a picnic at the park. My mom had packed a huge basket filled with sandwiches, chips, fruit, and Mark'sfavorite - her famous chocolate chip cookies. We were all starving after our adventures, so the food tasted incredible. In the afternoon, we went hiking on one of the nature trails around a scenic lake and waterfall. The views were beautiful, and we took so many fun pictures together along the way. We also spotted tons of cool wildlife like deer, rabbits, and tons of different bird species. I had never seen most of those animals in real life before. After the hike, we were pretty worn out so we headed home for the rest of the night. We all took turns showering off while my dad fired up the grill outside to make hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. The food was delicious, and it was so nice sitting on our patio, talking, eating, and just enjoying being together. That night after dinner, Mark and I crashed on the couch and watched movies together until we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer. We were completely worn out from our jam-packed day of outdoor fun and fresh air.On Sunday, we had a more low-key day spending quality time together. In the morning, we played some board games like Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, and Sorry! Mark won most of the games because he is really good at strategic thinking. For lunch, we had french toast, sausage, and fruit that my mom prepared. Her french toast is famous in our family because she makes it with this special batter that is sweet and cinnamony. We all stuffed ourselves since it is one of our favorite meals. That afternoon, we took Mark back home to his parents' house. We were all really sad to see him go, but also happy that we had made so many amazing memories together over that wonderful weekend. In the car ride home, I couldn't stop smiling thinking about all the fun we had. I am already counting down the days until Mark's next visit because weekends with family are the absolute best!篇2It Was Such A Nice WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Friday after school, my best friend Timmy came over to play. We had a snack of juice and cookies that my mom made. Then we went outside to ride our bikes around the neighborhood. It was a beautiful sunny day. We raced each other down the big hill on Maple Street. I won most of the races because my bike is faster than Timmy's.After riding bikes for a while, we went to the park near my house. We played on the swings and went down the big twistyslide a bunch of times. Then Timmy's mom came to pick him up for dinner. I waved goodbye and went inside. For dinner, we had my favorite - spaghetti and meatballs! My little sister Emily made a mess with her sauce as usual. After dinner, I helped my mom do the dishes. Then I took a bath and got ready for bed. I read a couple chapters of the Harry Potter book I'm reading before falling asleep. On Saturday morning, I woke up early like I always do. I went downstairs and had a big bowl of Frosted Flakes for breakfast while watching cartoons. My dad made pancakes for everyone else a little later. They were delicious with maple syrup and butter! After breakfast, my dad said we were going to go mini golfing as a family. I was really excited because I love mini golf. We piled into the car and drove to the mini golf course on the other side of town. It took about 20 minutes to get there. When we arrived, the place was pretty crowded. We had to wait in line for almost an hour to start our game! I got a little bored waiting in line, but it was worth it. Finally, it was our turn to play. The mini golf course had 18 holes all with fun obstacles and decorations. On one hole, you had to hit the ball through a little windmill. On another, you had to go up and down a ramp. My favorite hole was the one where you hit the ball into the open mouth of a big purple dragon! My dad was best at mini golf, getting a hole-in-one twice! I came in second place in our family, which was pretty good. Emily struggled a bit and kept hitting her ball in the waterways. But she still had fun. After mini golf, we went to my favorite pizza place for an early dinner. I got a pepperoni and sausage pizza, just how I like it. We played some games while waiting for the pizza, liketic-tac-toe and rock-paper-scissors. I won most of those too! When we got home, I spent a little time playing video games before bed. I was pretty tired from all the mini golfing fun!On Sunday morning, my family went to church like we do every week. I tried my best to not get antsy and whisper too much during the service. After church, we stopped for doughnuts at my favorite doughnut shop. I got a chocolate frosted doughnut with sprinkles. So yummy! In the afternoon, I had a baseball game to play in. My mom and dad and Emily all came to watch and cheer me on. It was a close game, but my team ended up winning 6 to 5! I played outfield and didn't get too many balls hit my way. But I did get on base both times I was up to bat. After my game, we all went home and I got to play outside for a while. I rode my bike up and down the street and played some basketball by myself on the driveway court. My neighbor Billy came over for a bit and we kicked a soccer ball around too.For dinner, my mom made her famous fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. She knows that's my absolute favorite meal. I ate so much my stomach felt like it was going to pop! But it was worth it because it tasted amazing. After dinner, we watched a movie together as a family - one of the Harry Potter ones. I had already seen it before, but it's still really good. I didn't make it all the way through to the end though because I got sleepy.I went to bed feeling happy after such a fun weekend. I got to do lots of my favorite things - play outside, eat good food, see friends and family, and just have a great time. I wish every weekend could be as nice as that one was! I made a bunch ofwonderful memories to look back on. I can't wait for the next weekend!篇3A Wonderful WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! It started on Friday after school. I was so excited because my best friend Samantha was coming over for a sleepover. We've been best friends since kindergarten and we always have the best time together. When I got home from school, I helped my mom get the guest room ready for Samantha. We put fresh sheets on the bed and I set out some stuffed animals to make it feel cozy. My mom made Samantha's favorite snacks - pizza rolls and chocolate chip cookies. The smell was making me hungry!Samantha's mom dropped her off at 5pm with her sleeping bag and overnight bag. As soon as she came in, we ran upstairs to my room giggling. We put on some music and danced around crazily for a while. Then we played with my American Girl dolls, making up silly stories and voices for them. For dinner, we ate the pizza rolls and cookies downstairs while watching a movie with my little brother Tommy. He's only 6so he went to bed around 8pm. After that, Samantha and I came back upstairs and did makeovers on each other. We used my mom's old makeup and hairbrushes. We looked so fancy but also kind of like clowns with all the bright colors! We stayed up really late telling funny stories and whispering secrets back and forth. We didn't fall asleep until after midnight! The next morning, we slept in until 10am. My mom made us pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries for breakfast. They were delicious. After breakfast, we went outside to play. We rode our bikes all around the neighborhood, ringing the bells and yelling hi to anyone we saw. We stopped at the park and went down the slides and swung really high on the swings. It was such a nice sunny day. When we got home around lunchtime, Samantha's mom came to pick her up. We begged her to let Samantha stay over again that night but she said no. We were sad to see her go, but so happy we got to have a sleepover. My mom said since I was such a good host to my friend, we could go out for a special treat that afternoon. We went to Get Air, the huge trampoline park! I loved bouncing down into thefoam pit and doing flips. We also played trampoline dodgeball which was really fun and tiring. After two hours of jumping, we were exhausted. We stopped for dinner at my favorite restaurant, the pizza place with the playground inside. I had a yummy pepperoni pizza and a big chocolate milkshake. My little brother made such a mess playing in the playground area! When we got home that night, I was completely worn out from my exciting weekend. I took a warm bath and put on my cozy pajamas. I fell asleep watching a movie and snuggling with my stuffed animals, feeling so happy after my wonderful weekend with my best friend. I couldn't wait until our next sleepover!篇4A Wonderful WeekendLast weekend was the best! On Friday after school, my mom picked me up and we went straight to the grocery store. I was so excited because I got to pick out all my favorite snacks - chips, cookies, candy, and even a chocolate cake for dessert! Mom said it was to get ready for our fun weekend at grandma and grandpa's house. When we got home, dad was already packing up the car with our suitcases and blankets. I helped by carrying my backpack with toys and books to keep me busy on the drive. Finally we were all loaded up and hit the road! The drive always feels so long, but this time I didn't get bored at all. I looked out the window and watched the buildings and trees go by. I also played road trip games with mom and dad like I Spy and 20 Questions. After what seemed like forever, we finally pulled into grandma and grandpa's driveway. I leaped out of the car before it even stopped moving! Grandma was waiting for us with a huge smile on her face and her arms wide open for a hug. Grandpa came out behind her carrying my favorite stuffed animal that I had left there last time. I was so happy to get my teddy bear back!Mom and dad brought all the suitcases and bags inside while grandma gave me and teddy a tour around the house, even though I had been there a million times before. She showed me where we would be sleeping, the backyard where I could play, and best of all - the treat drawer in the kitchen! Grandma always kept it stocked with all sorts of candies and snacks for me.After the tour, grandpa fired up the grill and started cooking hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner. They smelled so good! While he grilled, I played freeze dance with grandma in the living room to our favorite pop songs on the radio. Mom and dad joined in too and we were all laughing and being silly. When dinner was ready, we all sat around the patio table and enjoyed our food. Grandpa's burgers were the juiciest and most delicious I've ever tasted. For dessert, mom brought out the chocolate cake we had bought earlier. It was huge and had bright green icing on it. Grandma lit a candle in the middle and we all sang "Happy Birthday" to grandpa, even though it wasn't actually his birthday. He just loves cake so much that grandma does that for him sometimes.I was so full after eating, but still had tons of energy to run around. Grandpa turned on the sprinklers in the backyard and I ran through them getting soaked from head to toe. It felt so refreshing on the warm summer evening. Eventually I got tired and Started shivering, so grandma wrapped me in a big towel. We all went inside, put on our pajamas, and cuddled together on the couch to watch a movie before bed.The next morning, I woke up early like I always do at grandma's house because I was too excited to sleep in. The smells of bacon, eggs, and pancakes filled the air. I followed the smells to the kitchen and found grandpa cooking up a hugebreakfast feast. My favorite - chocolate chip pancakes! After we ate, grandma suggested we all go to the park down the street. The park had the coolest playground with so many fun things to play on. There were swings, slides, climbing rocks, and even a zipline! Grandpa took me down the zipline a bunch of times while mom pushed grandma and dad on the swings. We were having so much fun being kids again. After the park, we stopped at an ice cream shop and I got a triple scoop cone with all my favorite flavors - chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. What a treat! We walked around the neighborhood eating our ice cream and I showed mom, dad, grandma, and grandpa all my favorite houses I thought looked cool or had fun decorations out front. When we got back to grandma and grandpa's house, we were all a little tired from running around at the park. Grandma set up a blanket for us on the shady backyard and we all laid down together for a little rest. Dad read my favorite book out loud to all of us and I felt so cozy and happy cuddled up with my family. All too soon, it was time for us to pack up and head home. I gave grandma and grandpa huge hugs and made them promise to come visit us again very soon. Dad loaded everything backinto the car and we hit the road. I was sad to leave, but couldn't wait to tell my friends at school about my awesome weekend with my grandparents on Monday. Weekends like this are the best!篇5A Wonderful WeekendLast weekend was the best! It started on Friday after school. I was so excited because my best friend Samantha was coming over for a sleepover. We hadn't had a sleepover in months because she had been really busy with dance classes. As soon as the bell rang, I raced out of class and grabbed my backpack from my locker. I saw Mom's car in the pickup line and jumped right in."Guess what, Mom? Samantha's parents said she can spend the whole weekend with us!" I exclaimed."That's great, honey!" Mom replied with a big smile. "We're going to have so much fun."When we got home, I rushed inside and started getting everything ready for Samantha's arrival. I set up my tent in theliving room and put out all my stuffed animals. I made sure we had lots of snacks and movies picked out too.At 6 pm, the doorbell finally rang. I sprinted to the door and there was Samantha, grinning from ear to ear and holding her sleeping bag. We screamed and jumped up and down, so excited for our weekend extravaganza to begin!First, we had a giant sleepover party in the tent. We told spooky stories, roasted marshmallows over a candlelight, and giggled about everything. Around midnight, we finally fell asleep cuddled up together. The next morning, we woke up bright and early. Mom made us a humongous stack of chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. After we ate, we decided to have a fashion show. We spent hours raiding each other's closets and putting together wild outfits. We strutted up and down the hallway like we were supermodels. Whenever Mom passed by, we would strike an exaggerated pose and she would burst out laughing. In the afternoon, we went to the park near our house. It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for playing outside. We spent a long time on the swings, trying to see who could go the highest. Then we played an epic game of tag around the playground equipment. We also played pretend - Samantha was a braveknight trying to rescue me, the princess, from the evil dragon guarding the jungle gym. By the time we got home a few hours later, we were both completely tuckered out. That evening, Mom ordered us pizzas for dinner. We pigged out while watching movies and eating every snack in sight. We stayed up late just hanging out and talking about life. Best friends really are the best!On Sunday morning, I woke up feeling sad because I knew Samantha would be leaving soon. We went for one last adventure before her mom came to get her. We decided to build a fort out of every single couch cushion and blanket we could find. We made a massive fort that took up most of the living room. We spent the morning crawling around inside it and eating breakfast picnic-style.Finally, around noon, Samantha's mom arrived to pick her up. We said our tearful goodbyes, already counting down the days until our next sleepover. As she left, I felt so grateful for such a wonderful weekend with my very best friend in the whole world. Weekends like that are what make life great!篇6A Wonderful WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! It started on Friday after school. Mom picked me up and we went straight to the grocery store. She let me pick out all my favorite snacks – Chips Ahoy cookies, Doritos, and Capri Sun juice boxes. I was so excited for the weekend. When we got home, I did my homework right away so I could play video games after. Dad got home from work around 6pm and we had tacos for dinner, my favorite! After dinner, we watched a movie together as a family. It was a silly comedy that had us all laughing a lot. I love when we can just relax and have fun like that.On Saturday morning, I slept in until 9am. It felt so good to sleep late! When I finally got up, Mom made chocolate chip pancakes. They were still warm and the chocolate was all melty. I put way too much syrup on them, but Mom didn't say anything. After breakfast, Dad said we were going on a little road trip as a family. I was really excited! We drove for about an hour to this huge park with hiking trails and a lake. The day was sunny and warm, perfect for being outside. We hiked a few miles on the trails, looking at all the trees and wildflowers. I even saw a deer! When we got tired from hiking, we had a picnic lunch near the lake. We laid out a blanket and ate the sandwiches andsnacks Mom had packed. I waded a little in the shallow water at the edge of the lake. It was cold but felt refreshing. After eating, Dad showed me how to skip rocks across the glassy surface of the water. I finally got one to skip four times! On the drive home, I fell asleep in the backseat. When we got home, Mom and Dad ordered pizza for dinner. We ate it while watching another movie together. I was tired from all the fresh air and exercise, so I went to bed pretty early that night.I slept in again on Sunday until around 10am. When I came downstairs, Mom was making French toast. She let me help by cracking the eggs and mixing up the batter. While Mom finished cooking, Dad and I played a few rounds of my favorite video game together. He's not very good at it, but I had fun laughing at his character dying over and over. After brunch, Dad set up the sprinkler out in the backyard. I put my swimsuit on and spent a couple hours running through the sprinkler and laying out in the warm sun to dry off. It was the perfect summer day. Later, a bunch of my friends from school came over and we had a big water balloon fight. We used up over 100 balloons! We were soaked but having a blast. That night, we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs in the backyard for dinner. We ate outside at the patio table, enjoyingthe last few hours of daylight and fresh air. After dinner, we roasted marshmallows over the fire pit and made s'mores. I was covered in chocolate and marshmallow goo, but I didn't care. It was such a fun day. When it started getting dark, we went inside and I got ready for bed. I was exhausted from all the activity and fresh air. As I laid in bed that night, I thought about what an amazing weekend it had been. We had done so many fun things as a family. I felt so happy and loved. I couldn't wait for another weekend like that!。

On Friday after school, I rushed home as fast as I could because I was really excited for the weekend to start. When I got home, I dropped my backpack on the floor and ran straight to the kitchen. Mom had just baked a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies and they smelled sooooo good! I grabbed a few cookies off the plate and went to my room to play video games.A couple hours later, Dad got home from work. "Dylan, pause your game and come help me with yard work," he said. I groaned but I knew if I didn't listen, I wouldn't get my allowance. So I went outside and spent an hour raking leaves and pulling weeds in the front yard. It was pretty boring work but at least the weather was nice. After we finished in the yard, we all sat down for dinner together. Mom had made my favorite - spaghetti and meatballs!I devoured two huge platefuls. Then I had to take a showerbecause I was covered in dirt from the yard work. Once I was all clean, I plopped down on the couch and watched a movie with my little brother Jack. He's so annoying sometimes but at least he has good taste in movies. On Saturday morning, I slept in until 10am. It felt amazing to sleep late with no school! When I finally woke up, I could smell bacon frying downstairs. I ran down to the kitchen, my stomach grumbling. Mom laughed when she saw me. "Somebody's hungry!" she said as she piled my plate high with bacon, eggs, and pancakes. I ate every last bite, it was delicious. After breakfast, Dad took me and Jack to the park to play basketball. We played a few games of H-O-R-S-E and then did a mini-tournament. I ended up beating both of them, as usual. "You're too good at this game, son," Dad said while he was catching his breath. I just grinned - I love winning! When we got back home, I spent most of the afternoon playing video games and watching YouTube videos. Mom had to keep reminding me to pause and do my chores like taking out the trash and cleaning my room. Parents are so annoying about chores! But at least I earn allowance money for doing them. That night, we all piled into the car and went to my favorite restaurant - the pizza buffet! My brother and I raced to get ourplates first so we could be first in line. I piled my plate super high with pizza, breadsticks, and pasta. We made quite a mess but it was worth it because the food is amazing. On Sunday morning, I slept in again until 9am. Then I spent a lazy morning watching cartoons in my pajamas and eating a huge bowl of sugary cereal (which Mom doesn't let me eat on school days). Around noon, my best friend Mason called and invited me over to his house to play video games. His mom dropped me back home a few hours later. For dinner, we had a fairly typical Sunday night meal - a roast chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies. It was really good but I was a little sad because the weekend was nearly over. After dinner, I spent the rest of the evening finishing up any homework I had left over. I never leave homework for Sunday night if I can avoid it, but sometimes I get lazy over the weekend. Finally, it was time for bed around 9pm. I went up to my room, put on my pajamas, and snuggled into my nice warm bed. As I drifted off to sleep, I thought about what an awesome weekend it had been. I love weekends so much! But I knew I'd have to get up early the next morning and head back to school for another long week. Oh well, at least there's always next weekend to look forward to!篇2My WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was too excited to sleep in. We didn't have any plans for the day, so I got to just hang around the house. After breakfast, I played some video games for a little while. I was trying to beat this really hard level on my favorite game, but I kept dying over and over again. My little brother Tommy came into the room and watched me playing for a bit. He kept laughing at me whenever I failed! I told him the level was super difficult and that he would never be able to do it. Tommy said he could beat it easily, so I let him try. He didn't even make it past the first obstacle! I felt a little better after that.A couple hours later, Mom called us to help her make lunch. We had grilled cheese sandwiches, which are my favorite. While we were eating, Dad said we should go to the park after we finished. The weather was really nice out, so I was excited to go play at the park. Once we cleaned up from lunch, we all piled into the car. When we got to the park, Tommy and I ran straight for the playground equipment. Dad stayed at a picnic table while Mom followed behind us. The first thing I did was race across the monkey bars. I made it all the way across without falling off! Then I went down the big twisty slide a few times. It was so fast! After that, Tommy and I played for a while on the seesaw. We took turns seeing who could go higher and higher. Mom had to tell us to be careful a few times so we wouldn't fall off.Next, we headed over to the swings. There was only one person on the swing set, so we could each get a swing. I pumped my legs and went as high as I could go. The rushing air made me feel like I was flying! When I looked down, Mom and Dad looked so tiny sitting at the picnic table. After swinging for a while, my arms got too tired to keep going.Tommy and I decided to head over to the baseball diamond and toss a ball around. Mom and Dad came over to watch us. First, Dad pitched some grounders that I fielded and threw back to him. Then we tried catching some pop flies. A few of them were really high and I had to run up to catch them before they hit the ground. One time the ball smacked right into my glove and stung my hand! I was proud that I didn't drop it though.Once we were getting tired from baseball, we went back over to the picnic tables and had the snacks Mom packed. She had included juice boxes, trail mix, apple slices, and my favorite cookies. We sat and rested for a little while, watching some other kids play on the playground. After snack time, we decided to go on a walk around the walking trail at the park. The trail looped all around the park and into some small wooded areas. Along the way, we saw lots of squirrels and birds. In one area, we saw a family of ducks waddling across the trail! We all had to stop and wait for the duck family to go across. I thought the little ducklings were so cute. We also spotted some deer in the distance, but they ran away when they noticed us.Towards the end of the trail, we came across a really cool treehouse that someone had built. It was pretty high up in the branches of a huge oak tree. Dad tried to boost me up so I could climb into it, but Mom stopped him. She thought it might not be safe since it was getting old and rickety. I was a little disappointed, but I knew she was just being cautious. Maybe I'll get to explore it another time.By the time we finished the walking trail, it was starting to get a little dark out. We all piled back into the car and headed home. I was pretty tired after our long day of playing andwalking around. In the car, Tommy fell asleep and started snoring really loudly. Dad joked that he sounded like a lawnmower. I was too exhausted to even laugh at Dad's silly joke.Once we got home, Mom ordered some pizza for dinner since nobody felt like cooking. While we waited for it to arrive, I plopped down on the couch and turned on the TV to watch my favorite cartoon. The pizza got there quicker than I thought it would. We ate it while watching a movie together as a family. About halfway through the movie, I could feel my eyes getting篇3My WeekendsWeekends were my favorite part of the week! I always looked forward to them because I got to do lots of fun things that I couldn't do during the school days. Let me tell you about what my typical weekend was like.On Friday nights, my Dad picked me up from school and we went home. My Mom worked late on Fridays, so Dad and I had some guy time together. We often ordered pizza for dinner because Mom didn't have to cook. Pepperoni was my favorite! After dinner, we played video games or watched a movie together. Dad let me stay up a little later on Friday nights. On Saturdays, I slept in as late as I wanted. My parents never woke me up early! I loved lounging in my pajamas and playing on my tablet for a little while before getting dressed. For breakfast, we sometimes made pancakes or french toast. Yum!After breakfast, we did fun family activities together. One Saturday, we went to the park and played frisbee. Another time, we took a trip to the children's museum. They had lots of cool, interactive science exhibits. My favorite was the bubble room where you could make giant bubbles! We also went to museums, plays, or concerts some Saturdays.Other Saturdays, we just hung out at home. I worked on my Lego projects or played games with my little brother. We built forts and raced our remote control cars around the backyard too. Mom and Dad let us have a sleepover in the living room and we camped out with our sleeping bags if we wanted. In the evenings, we often had a family movie night with popcorn and candy. We took turns picking whatever movie we wanted to watch each week. I picked lots of superhero and action movies. My little brother always liked the silly comedies. On Sundays after breakfast, we got ready and went to church. I went to Sunday School while my parents were in the main service. After church, we usually went out for a big lunch ata restaurant. My favorite places were the burger joint or the Mexican place. When we got home from lunch, we had some free time in the afternoons. I played outside with my neighborhood friends if the weather was nice. We rode our bikes, played basketball, or just ran around. If it was raining, I stayed inside and read books, built with Legos, or played video games. For Sunday dinner, Mom and Dad grilled out on the backyard patio a lot in the summers. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and corn-on-the-cob were delicious! When it got colder, Mom made comfort foods like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. After dinner, we played board games as a family or just relaxed together.Bedtime came too soon on Sunday nights because I had school the next day. But I felt refreshed and ready to take on the new week after my fun-filled weekends! Those were the days I looked forward to every week.So that's what my typical weekends were like - full of relaxing, playing, eating good food, and spending quality time with my family. We made a lot of happy memories together on our weekends. What did you and your family like to do on theweekends? Maybe our families did some of the same kinds of activities! Weekends are the best, aren't they?篇4My WeekendsOn Fridays, I'm always super excited because the weekend is finally here! I love weekends because I get to sleep in late and don't have to wake up early for school. During the week, my mom makes me go to bed at 9 PM, but on weekend nights I can stay up way later watching movies or playing video games. My favorite weekend activity is hanging out with my best friend Jake. Jake lives just a couple blocks away from me, so it's really easy for us to meet up. On Saturdays, we'll usually ride our bikes over to the park near his house. There's a great hiking trail there that winds through the woods. Jake and I love exploring off the beaten path and looking for cool stuff like birds' nests, animal footprints, or old bottles and cans that people have littered. We always make sure to pick up any litter we find though and put it in the trash cans. Keeping nature clean is important!Sometimes we'll pack a picnic lunch to eat at the park. My mom makes me delicious sandwiches with turkey, cheese, lettuce and tomato on whole wheat bread. She also includes an apple, some baby carrots, and a small bag of trail mix. We'll pick a nice shady spot under a big oak tree to eat our lunch and just hang out for a while. After we've finished exploring the park, Jake and I might go back to his house to play video games for a few hours. His big brother has an awesome game console with all the latest games. My favorite games are the first-person shooter games where you get to battle enemies and master different weapons and power-ups. Jake is way better at those games than me though and usually ends up having a much higher score. When I go home in the evening, I'll hang out with my family for a while. Sometimes we'll watch a movie together while eating microwave popcorn. Other times we'll play board games like Clue, Life, or Monopoly. No matter what though, we always have a lot of laughs and a really good time just being together as a family. On Sundays, I have to get up a little earlier because my family goes to church in the morning. I actually don't mind going to church too much. I like seeing my friends from Sunday school and participating in the fun activities the teachers organize like arts & crafts projects, singing songs, or acting out stories fromthe Bible. After church is over around noon, my parents will often take me out for a nice lunch at a sit-down restaurant. Getting to order whatever I want off the menu and having a waitress serve me always makes me feel so grown up!Later in the afternoon on Sundays, I'll usually have some homework to get done for the upcoming school week. Even though I hate homework, I know it's important to get it finished so I'm not stressing about it later. My parents are pretty strict about making sure I get my homework done before doing any fun activities. If the weather is nice, my dad sometimes takes me to the batting cages to practice my baseball swing. I'm on my school's baseball team, so my dad really emphasizes keeping my skills sharp. At the batting cages, I'll spend at least an hour taking turns with my dad smashing pitch after pitch. He gives me a lot of good coaching tips to keep my stance solid and my eye on the ball. Even though it's a lot of hard work, I really enjoy playing baseball and appreciate my dad taking the time to help me improve.Once all my weekend chores and responsibilities are out of the way, I get to just relax and have some free time to do whatever I want. A lot of times I'll curl up somewhere cozy andread books or comics for a few hours. The Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dog Man series are two of my favorites that always crack me up. If I'm in more of a video game mood, I'll hop online and team up with Jake and some other friends for a few rounds of Fortnite or Call of Duty. We'll chat with our headsets on and have a total blast strategizing and joking around together.Sometimes though, I just need a break from screens and opt to go outside for some fresh air instead. I might grab my basketball and spend an hour or two practicing my dribbling and different shots. Or I'll get my bike out and go for a long, relaxing cruise around the neighborhood while blasting my favorite tunes through my headphones. No matter what though, once Sunday evening rolls around, I always feel totally recharged and ready to tackle another hectic school week ahead. That's pretty much what a typical weekend looks like for me as a sixth grader. Even though I complained a bit about homework and chores, my weekends are actually a lot of fun overall. I get plenty of time to relax, be with my friends, get some exercise, and just be a kid without too many rules or responsibilities for a couple days. Weekends are the best!篇5My WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Saturday, I woke up really early because I was too excited to sleep in. My best friend Tommy was coming over to spend the night. We had been looking forward to it for weeks!First thing in the morning, my mom made us a big breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and sausages. It was delicious! After we ate, Tommy and I went outside to play some basketball on the driveway. The weather was perfect - sunny but not too hot. We shot some hoops for a while until we got bored of that. Then we decided to go on an adventure in the woods behind my house. We spent hours exploring, climbing trees, and looking for cool bugs and stuff. At one point, we thought we saw a deer but it ran away before we could get too close. We made it all the way to the stream and stuck our feet in the cold water. It felt so refreshing! When we finally headed back home, we were tired, hungry, and covered in dirt and leaves from our hiking. My mom made us peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch and we gulped them down fast. After eating, we just chilled out watching TV and playing video games for a little while to rest.Later that afternoon, my dad suggested we all go to the batting cages. I was so excited because I love baseball! We spent over an hour taking turns hitting off the pitching machines at different speeds. Tommy was really good at it. My arms were pretty sore by the end but it was worth it.For dinner, we got to go out for pizza at my favorite place. I loaded up my slice with pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. We stuffed ourselves silly! When we got back home, Tommy and I had a intense video game battle before finally getting ready for bed way later than I'm normally allowed to stay up.The next morning, we slept in until my mom came upstairs and woke us up around 10am. She made French toast which is Tommy's favorite breakfast food. We ate quickly because we were supposed to go to Tommy's baseball game at 11am. His team was playing against our biggest rivals. It was such a close, nail-biting game! Tommy got the winning hit in the final inning. After the game, we said bye to Tommy's family and spent the rest of Sunday just hanging around my house. We played some more video games, watched a movie, and rode our bikes around the neighborhood. Before we knew it, it was time for Tommy's mom to come pick him up to go home.I was really sad to see him go because we always have so much fun together. But I have a lot of great memories from our weekend sleepover. I can't wait for him to come over again soon! Weekends with your best friend are the best.。

His mom made us strawberry milkshakes and we played video games for a while. Then we went outside to play some basketball in his driveway. I'm not very good at basketball but Jake is awesome at it. He was making all these crazy trick shots and I couldn't even make a normal shot half the time! After we got tired of basketball, we went back inside and watched a movie. It was a superhero movie with all these cool fight scenes. We ate a whole bunch of popcorn during the movie. Afterwards, my mom came to pick me up and I had to go home for dinner. On Saturday morning, I slept in really late until like 10am. My mom let me sleep in because she knows I like to stay up late on Friday nights. When I finally woke up, I ate a huge stack ofpancakes covered in syrup and whipped cream. They were so delicious! After breakfast, I had to clean my room like I do every weekend. My mom is always nagging me about keeping it clean.I vacuumed up all the dirt and picked up my dirty clothes off the floor. I even made my bed which I hate doing. While I was cleaning, I blasted my favorite music really loud and sang along terribly. My sister came in and told me I sounded awful but I didn't care!Once I finished cleaning, I met up with Jake again and we rode our bikes to the park. The weather was beautiful and sunny. At the park, we played on the swings and the merry-go-round until we got dizzy. Some other kids were there too so we played a game of kickball all together. I kicked the ball super far and made it all the way to third base! After the park, Jake and I went back to his house and had a huge Nerf gun war. We made forts out of couch cushions and kept shooting at each other from our forts. I got hit a bunch of times but I also got some good shots in on Jake. His dad refereed and kept score and I ended up winning by just a couple points.By then it was getting pretty late, so my mom came and picked me up again. We stopped at McDonald's on the wayhome to get some dinner. I got a Big Mac meal with fries and a Sprite. I probably ate way too many fries but I was really hungry from playing all day. When I got home, I took a shower to get cleaned up and then I relaxed by playing some video games for a little while before bed. My dad let me stay up a little bit later since it was the weekend. On Sunday morning, my family slept in again. We didn't get up until around 11am. For breakfast, we had waffles with strawberries, bacon, and orange juice. My favorite! After breakfast, I did a little bit of homework that was due on Monday so I wouldn't have to do too much that night. In the afternoon, my parents took me and my sister to the movies. We saw the new Disney/Pixar movie that just came out. I laughed so hard during some parts! The movie theater popcorn was really good too and I ate way too much of it again. After the movie, we went grocery shopping with my dad while my mom stayed home. Grocery shopping is usually pretty boring, but my dad Let me get a chocolate bar from the checkout line. When we got home, my sister and I helped bring in all the groceries. For dinner, we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs outside on the backyard grill. We also had corn on the cob, potato salad, and watermelon. I stuffed myself with so much food! While we were eating, we played some music and danced around being silly. My dad is such a goofy dancer.Once it started getting dark out, we had a fire in our fire pit in the backyard. We made s'mores and looked at the stars. I even saw a few shooting stars! Sitting around the fire was so relaxing. I loved spending time with my family. Finally, it was time for bed. I brushed my teeth, put on my pajamas, and snuggled up in my cozy bed. I was totally worn out from such an awesome weekend! As I drifted off to sleep, I thought about all the fun I had. I can't wait for another weekend like that!篇2My WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Friday after school, I came home and did my homework right away so I could play for the rest of the weekend. My best friend Timmy came over and we played video games for a little while. Then we went outside to ride our bikes around the neighborhood. We saw our neighbor Mr. Jenkins working in his yard, so we stopped to say hi. He asked if we wanted to earn a few dollars pulling weeds in his garden. We said yes because we had been hoping to make some money to buy ice cream at Dairy Queen later. Mr. Jenkins gave us each a little hand trowel and showed us which plants were the weeds that needed to be removed. We worked really hard for about an hour, pulling out all the weeds. When we finished, Mr. Jenkins paid us 5 each! We were so excited. We thanked him a bunch of times and rode our bikes as fast as we could to Dairy Queen. I got a chocolate dipped cone and Timmy got a Peanut Buster Parfait. We sat at a picnic table outside and ate our ice cream, feeling proud that we had earned the money ourselves. After we finished our ice cream, we rode our bikes over to the park. The park was pretty empty since it was starting to get late in the afternoon. We played on the swings and seesaws for a while. Then Timmy's mom texted him that it was time for him to go home for dinner. We said our goodbyes and I rode my bike back home. When I got home, my mom asked me what I wanted to do for dinner. I asked if we could order a pizza. She said that was fine since I had worked hard pulling weeds earlier. Yay! I lovepizza night. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza from our favorite pizza place. While we waited for it to get delivered, I played some video games. The pizza finally arrived and it smelled so good! We ate our dinner while watching a movie together as a family. After dinner, I took a shower to get cleaned up before bed. I read a chapter from my library book, and then I fell asleep pretty quickly. The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to play again. After breakfast, I met up with Timmy and our other friend Michael at the park. We spent a couple hours playing basketball at the park's court. I wasn't very good, but it was still really fun.Around lunchtime, we got hungry so we went to Michael's house. His mom made us ham and cheese sandwiches, which were delicious. Michael's dad worked at a grocery store, so he always brought home the best bread and cheese from there. After we ate our sandwiches and drank some lemonade, we went back to the park to play for a little while longer. We played a game of kickball until we were getting tired. Then we walked over to Timmy's house and went swimming in his backyard pool. His pool had a waterslide which wasawesome! We took turns going down the slide and splashing into the pool. We also played some pool games like Marco Polo. After a while, I started to get pruney so I got out of the pool. We all laid on our towels in the sun to dry off. When I felt dry enough, I put my clothes back on and said goodbye to Timmy and Michael. I rode my bike back home just as it was starting to get dark outside. When I got home, I was exhausted from my fun day of playing at the park, swimming, and riding my bike all over town.I had dinner with my family and then got ready for bed. As I laid in my bed trying to fall asleep, I thought about what an awesome weekend I had. I saw my best friends, earned some spending money, had my favorite foods, and played outside a ton. I couldn't wait for the next weekend!篇3My WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was too excited to sleep in. I jumped out of bed, threw on my favorite t-shirt and shorts, and raced downstairs for breakfast. Mom made my favorite - chocolate chip pancakes! After devouring a big stack of pancakes, I could hardly sit still. I was buzzing with energy and ready for adventure. Dad said we were going on a family hiking trip to explore the trails in the forest just outside of town. Yes!We piled into the car with our backpacks full of snacks, water bottles, and supplies. The drive to the trailhead didn't take too long. As soon as we parked, I burst out of the car, inhaling the fresh pine scent and gawking at the towering trees all around us. This was going to be epic! The hiking trail looped all through the shady forest with lots of little ups and downs. Every time we'd reach the top of a hill, new amazing views opened up. I loved clambering over fallen tree trunks and skipping across little creeks. Squirrels and chipmunks darted between the trees. Once I even spotted a deer dashing through the bushes! We stopped for a picnic lunch beside a bubbling stream. The sandwiches tasted so good after all that walking and exploring. Afterward, I carefully made my way across the stream by hopping on the rocks so I wouldn't get my shoes wet. Mom and Dad cheered me on from the bank.As we wandered deeper into the forest, the trees seemed to get bigger and bigger. I felt so small and amazed looking up attheir giant trunks and branches reaching high into the sky. We must have hiked for miles because my legs started getting rubbery tired. But I didn't want the adventure to end!Eventually we had to turn around and head back to the trailhead. I dragged my feet, trying to soak up as much of the peaceful forest as I could. By the time we reached the car, my body was completely worn out. I slumped into the backseat, chugging water and resting my eyes. That hike really worked up an appetite - good thing we planned to get pizza for dinner! On Sunday, the day started slower and lazier. After sleeping in late, I lounged around in my pajamas watching cartoons and munching on a giant bowl of cereally. Mom and Dad didn't seem in much of a hurry either, sipping coffee and reading the newspaper. Finally around lunchtime, we all got dressed to meet our neighbors for a fun afternoon at the community pool. The sun was blazing hot and the water looked so refreshing and inviting. I loved bombing into the deep end and swimming underwater, watching everybody's legs kicking above me.The pool had this really cool corkscrew slide that looped all the way around before shooting you out into the splash pool. I couldn't get enough of that slide! Each time I'd whirl and whiparound the circles, getting dizzier and dizzier before kapLuNK! into the water below. Then I'd pull myself out, shaking off the water like a dog, and race to climb the ladder and go again.Swimming and splashing around all afternoon really helped me work up an appetite. We stopped for burgers and fries on the way home. I was famished and devoured everything on my plate in about two minutes flat. That night I passed out on the couch, wiped out from an incredible weekend in the sun.Weekends are the best! I never want them to end. I'm already counting down the days until next weekend when Mom and Dad promised we can go camping for real. We'll cook hot dogs and s'mores over the campfire, sleep out under a gazillion stars, and tell spooky stories. I can't wait! That's the magical thing about weekends - no school, no homework, no routines. Just pure freedom to go on adventures and make as many fun memories as possible before Monday morning comes along. This weekend was one I'll never forget. A perfect blend of outdoorsy exploring and chilling by the pool. An epic weekend for the books!篇4My WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was too excited to sleep in. I had been looking forward to Saturday for weeks because my parents promised to take me and my little brother to the big carnival that was in town.We left the house around 10am and drove across town to the fairgrounds where the carnival was set up. There were so many bright lights and crazy sounds coming from all the rides and game booths. The first thing we did was buy tickets to go on the rides. My favorite was definitely the Tilt-A-Whirl! It went around and around so fast while also rocking back and forth. I felt like I was going to fall out, but it was really thrilling. My brother is only 5 years old, so he wasn't quite tall enough for the biggest roller coasters. But he went on the mini kid rollercoaster about a hundred times! He loved it so much. We also went down the huge slide that was like 5 stories tall. I was a little bit scared at first, but once I went down it was over so quickly. After that, I couldn't wait to go down it again and again! For lunch, we ate hot dogs, french fries, cotton candy, and lemonade. Everything tasted so good at the carnival! My face was sticky with pink cotton candy sugar, but I didn't even care. We played some games in the afternoon too and I won a hugeteddy bear that was almost as big as me! The game was one where you had to throw a baseball and knock down the milk bottles. I'm a pretty good pitcher, so I was able to do it on my third try.We stayed at the carnival until after the sun went down because they had a perfect fireworks show planned for 9pm. The fireworks were absolutely incredible! They were bursting with so many bright colors – reds, blues, greens, purples, yellows. Some of them even twinkled and crackled after they exploded, almost like they were little fireworks inside of a bigger firework. My brother kept shouting "Wow! Look at that one!" after every explosion. It was magical. When we finally made it home that night, I fell straight into bed and knocked out. I was so exhausted from the amazing day!I had cotton candy flavored dreams and could still hear the sounds of the carnival rides and game music in my mind as I slept. What a fantastic day it had been.On Sunday, I spent most of the day recovering and resting up. My body was sore and tired from running around the carnival all day on Saturday. In the afternoon though, I met up with my friends Anna and Jacob at the park near my house. We played for hours on the swings, seesaws, merry-go-round, and jungle gym.Playing outside was a perfect way to spend the sunny spring Sunday. That evening, my dad grilled hamburgers for dinner and we ate outside on our patio. My mom made a salad and baked beans to go with the hamburgers. For dessert, we roasted marshmallows over the fire pit in our backyard. I got a little too close and ended up catching the end of my marshmallow on fire! But that's all part of the fun. After smores, we sat outside under the stars and played charades until it was time for bed. Weekends are the best. Now it's Monday morning and I'm back at school. I feel tired just thinking about how much fun and activity I packed into my weekend! My teacher asked us to write about what we did over the weekend for our journal prompt today. That's why I wrote all about my awesome weekend at the carnival and playing at the park. I can't wait for next weekend!篇5My WeekendLast weekend was awesome! On Friday after school, I met up with my best friend Jake at the park near our houses. We were soexcited because it was finally the weekend and we could have fun for two whole days without any school or homework.First, we played basketball at the park's court for a couple hours. Jake and I are both pretty good at basketball even though we're still kids. We had an intense one-on-one game going and the score was really close the whole time. Eventually, I beat Jake by two points! He was a good sport about losing though. After basketball, we got hungry so we rode our bikes over to the nearby pizza place and used our allowance money to split a pepperoni pizza. While we were eating, Jake remembered that the new superhero movie just came out in theaters. We both really wanted to see it, so we quickly finished our food and rode our bikes all the way across town to the movie theater. The movie was so cool! It had amazing visual effects and action sequences. My favorite part was when the superhero stopped the bank robbers from getting away with the stolen cash. Jake's favorite scene was when the superhero rescued the hostages from the villain's lair. The movie made us want to be superheroes when we grow up so we can fight bad guys and save the day too! When the movie ended, it was starting to get dark out. We knew our parents would be expecting us home soon, but wedidn't want the fun to end yet. So on our bike ride home, we stopped at the convenience store to get some snacks and Slushee drinks. We went to the little park near Jake's house and just hung out eating snacks and talking about how awesome the rest of summer vacation would be with no school.Eventually our parents started calling us to come home, so we quickly finished our Slushees and biked back to the neighborhood. Jake and I said goodbye, already making plans for the next day. When I got home, my mom asked what I did all day and I excitedly told her about playing basketball, getting pizza, watching the new superhero movie, and hanging out with Jake at the park. She smiled and was happy I had such a fun day.The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for another fun day. After eating a big breakfast, I met up with Jake at his house. His older brother Chad was home from college for the weekend, so he offered to drive us to the trampoline park that just opened up in the next town over. Jake and I were so pumped! The trampoline park was a massive gymnasium filled with wall-to-wall trampolines. There was even a huge pit filled with thousands of soft foam cubes that you could jump into from thetrampolines. Chad paid for us to have two hours of jump time and Jake and I took full advantage of it.We jumped and flipped and played trampoline dodgeball for the whole two hours straight. We even attempted to do front flips, backflips, and other cool tricks that the older kids there were doing. I wasn't able to land any flips, but Jake briefly got a front flip before crashing into the foam pit. I was super impressed!Afterwards, we were exhausted from all the jumping. We could barely make it out to Chad's car. Jake and I both agreed that was one of the funnest activities we've ever done. On the ride home, we made Chad stop for Slushees again since they were so refreshing the day before. When I got home around 3pm, I was pretty beat. I laid on the couch watching tv and resting my sore leg muscles for a couple hours. Then my mom called me for dinner - she made my favorite meal of chicken nuggets, fries, and a brownie sundae for dessert! After dinner, Jake called and asked if I could come over to have one last hang out before our weekend was over. I quickly ate my dessert and rode my bike over to his house. For the next few hours, we played video games in his basement and stayedup way later than what our parents would normally allow. But since it was the last night of our weekend, we knew they'd let us bend the rules a little. When my mom called for me to come home and get ready for bed around 10pm, Jake and I reluctantly turned off the video games. We gave each other a hug, already counting down the days until next weekend. As I biked home under the streetlights, I was a little sad that my awesome weekend was over, but also really happy that I got to spend so much quality time with my best friend. Fifth grade was going to be over after this school year, and pretty soon Jake and I would be heading to middle school the following year. I knew our friendship would be put to the test, so I wanted to make sure I enjoyed every remaining weekend I had left to spend with him before our lives changed. When I arrived home, I said goodnight to my parents and big sister before heading to bed. As I laid down, I reminisced about what an action-packed, fun-filled weekend I just had. Between the basketball, pizza, superhero movie, trampoline park, video games, and just quality time with Jake, it was probably one of the best weekends of my life so far. I couldn't wait to tell my teacher and classmates all about it on Monday morning when they inevitably asked what I did over the weekend. With a bigsmile on my face, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, feeling satisfied and content.篇6My Awesome Weekend!Last weekend was so much fun! On Friday after school, I went over to my best friend Jake's house. His mom made us some yummy snacks like chocolate chip cookies and we drank raspberry lemonade. We played video games for a little while, but then decided to go outside since it was such a nice day.We rode our bikes around the neighborhood and raced each other down the big hill on Maple Street. I started pedaling as fast as I could but Jake passed me right before we got to the bottom! He's such a fast biker. After that we went to the park and played on the swings and monkey bars. I tried to do a front flip off the monkey bars but landed on my butt. It was a little sore but I was ok!For dinner, Jake's mom ordered us some pizza. We got half pepperoni and half with veggies since Jake is kind of a healthy eater. I put red pepper flakes all over mine to make it extra spicy! After we stuffed ourselves with pizza, we had a huge belchingcontest. Jake's little sister came in and yelled at us saying we were being disgusting. We just laughed really hard. That night we had a sleepover in Jake's room. We stayed up late watching funny videos on YouTube and throwing popcorn at each other. We played endless games of NBA 2K24 on Jake's PlayStation 5 until our eyes could barely stay open anymore. I crashed on the floor in my sleeping bag around 2am.On Saturday morning, Jake's dad made us blueberry pancakes that were delicious! We hung out at his house for a while until my mom came to pick me up. That afternoon, my family went shopping at the mall. I didn't want to go at first, but my mom bribed me by saying we could go to the arcade afterwards. The arcade was awesome! I won a bunch of tickets playing skee-ball and whack-a-mole. With my tickets I got a giant stuffed sloth that I named Reggie. My little sister Hannah got some candy jewelry that she wouldn't stop munching on. For dinner we went to Chili's and I ate a mountain of baby back ribs and mac and cheese. I was in a total food coma!On Sunday morning after breakfast, we all went for a hike at Wildwood Park. The weather was perfect! We saw tons of cool birds and squirrels along the trail. At one point my dad pointedout a huge spider web between two trees. When we got to the creek, we skipped rocks and splashed around in the water a little. It felt so refreshing and made me not want the weekend to end!For lunch we had a picnic at the park. My mom packed us turkey sandwiches, baby carrots, grapes, and my favorite chocolate chip cookies. We played frisbee for a while and I showed Hannah all my sweet frisbee trick shots. I even landed one right in the raccoon's mouth! Just kidding, that would be totally gross.Later that evening we went swimming at my aunt and uncle's pool. The water was kind of cold at first but felt awesome after being in the hot sun. We had a big splashing contest and I completely drenched my dad! He chased me around the pool trying to dunk me but I was too fast for him. Finally it was time to go home and get ready for school on Monday. I was really bummed that the weekend was over already. We ordered Chinese food for dinner - my favorite! I stuffed myself with pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, and those delicious fortune cookies. What a perfect way to end an awesome weekend! That night I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow. I had so many fun adventures with my family and friends overthose two days. Even though I was super tired, I couldn't wait for the next weekend to roll around! Weekends are the best.。

On Saturday morning, I woke up early and watched cartoons before having breakfast with my parents. After that, wewent to the park and played games together. I kicked theball around with my dad while my mom watched us and took some photos.Later on, I met up with my friends at the arcade. We played video games for hours and tried to beat each other's high scores. It was so much fun! At lunchtime, we went to afast-food restaurant and ordered burgers and fries. In the afternoon, my family drove to the beach for a picnic. We brought sandwiches, fruits, and cookies to share. While we were eating, we saw some seagulls flying overhead and listened to the sound of waves crashing against the shore. On Sunday morning, I helped my mom clean our house. Wedusted tables and shelves, vacuumed carpets, and mopped floors. It was tiring but satisfying work since everything looked so neat afterwards. In the afternoon, we visited our grandparents who live in another town nearby. They welcomed us warmly and cooked a delicious feast for us: roasted chicken, steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, and gravy. We chatted about our lives and showed them some photos from our recent trips. At nightfall, we went back home feeling happy but exhausted from all the activities of the weekend. I went to bed early hoping for another enjoyable week ahead!。

一般过去时写自己周末的英语作文Last WeekendWow, last weekend was really fun! It started on Friday after school. I was so excited because my best friend Timmy was coming over for a sleepover. We've been best friends since kindergarten and we always have the best time together. As soon as the bell rang, I raced out to the front of the school. Timmy's mom was waiting there in her blue minivan. I jumped in the back and we drove to my house. Mom had made us some chocolate chip cookies which was awesome. We munched on those while we played some video games in the basement for a while. After a little bit, we got bored of the games so we decided to go outside and play in the backyard. We grabbed our baseball gloves and bat and had a fun game of catch and batting practice for about an hour. The weather was really nice, sunny but not too hot. Perfect baseball weather!Eventually we got hungry again, so we came inside for dinner. Mom had made spaghetti and meatballs, one of my favorites. She always makes the best tomato sauce. After westuffed ourselves, it was time for mine and Timmy's favorite part of sleepovers - building a gigantic pillow fort!We dragged all the cushions off the couch into the living room. Then we grabbed every pillow, blanket, and sheet we could find from all the bedrooms. We built this huge fort that took up most of the living room floor. It had multiple rooms and tunnels and everything! Once it was all set up, we climbed inside with some flashlights, snacks, and comic books. We spent hours in there telling spooky stories, looking at the comics, and pretending we were brave adventurers exploring a cave. It was epic!Eventually around midnight, we got tired and fell asleep cuddled up in our cozy little pillow cave. We were woken up early the next morning by my little sister Jessica jumping on us. At first we were grumpy about being woken up, but then we realized it was Saturday - cartoon day!We spent the whole morning parked on the couch watching cartoons and munching on a huge bowl of lucky charms that Mom made for us. All the best shows were on - Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents, Danny Phantom, you name it. Around lunchtime, Dad came home from running errands with a couple's pizzas for us which was awesome. After stuffing ourselves with pizza, we spent the afternoon back outside since it was still beautiful out. We kicked around a soccer ball for a while, played some one-on-one basketball on the driveway, and eventually ended up just laying out on the grass imagining what cool shapes the clouds looked like.As the sun started to go down, we could hear excited barking coming from the front yard. Timmy's dad was there to pick him up, but he had brought their new puppy Rufus with him! We spent probably an hour just playing with that adorablefur-ball until it was finally time for Timmy to go home. We made plans for him to come over again in a couple weeks though, so I wasn't too sad.I spent the rest of the evening eating leftovers for dinner, taking a bath, and getting ready for bed. I was exhausted after such a jam-packed couple days of fun! As I climbed into bed, I thought about what an amazing weekend it had been. Two full days of eating my favorite foods, watching my favorite shows, playing sports and games, and most importantly, hanging out with my best friend. I couldn't wait to tell everyone at school on Monday all about the awesome sleepover weekend I had. It was exactly what I needed after a long week of school, homework, and responsibilities. I fell asleep feeling refreshed and so lucky to have such a great life.。

用过去式写一篇我的周末英语作文Here's an essay about my weekend in the past tense, written in the voice of an elementary school student, approximately 2000 words long:My Weekend AdventureLast weekend was so much fun! It all started on Friday after school. I was super excited because my parents had promised to take me and my little brother on a special trip. We didn't know where we were going, but I had a feeling it would be somewhere awesome. When we got home, Mom and Dad told us to pack a small bag with clothes and our favorite toys. My brother James packed his stuffed teddy bear Mr. Snuggles, and I brought my favorite book about space exploration. Once we were all ready, we piled into the car and hit the road. After driving for a couple of hours, we arrived at a place called "Wildwood Camping Grounds." I had never been camping before, so I was a little nervous but also really thrilled. Dad backed up our car to a nice flat spot, and we all got out to explore. There were tall trees all around us, and the air smelled so fresh and clean. James and I ran around while Mom and Dad set up our big tent. It was huge, with enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Mom laid out our sleeping bags, and Dad started making a campfire.Once the fire was going, we roasted hot dogs and mades'mores for dinner. The marshmallows were gooey and delicious! After we ate, Dad told us some silly ghost stories that made James a little scared, but I thought they were funny. When it got dark, we went on a night hike with our flashlights. We saw all kinds of cool things, like fireflies blinking in the bushes and even a little rabbit hopping across the trail. Back at our campsite, we made hot chocolate and looked up at the bright stars in the night sky. I had never seen so many stars before! The next morning, I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside our tent. Mom made us all pancakes for breakfast, which we ate while sitting on a log by the fire pit. Then we went on a long hike to explore more of the camping grounds. We saw a beautiful waterfall and even spotted a family of deer drinking from a stream! On our way back to our campsite,we picked fresh blueberries and blackberries that grew along the trail. They were so sweet and juicy. For lunch, Dad grilled hamburgers over the fire while Mom made a salad with the berries we had picked. After we ate, James and I played fetch with our dog Buddy and went wading in a shallow creek nearby. The water was freezing cold but felt so refreshing on the warm afternoon.Too soon, it was time to pack up and head home. We were all a little tired from being so active, but we had made so many great memories. On the drive back, I looked out the window and thought about how lucky I was to have such a fun weekend with my family. I couldn't wait to go camping again! In the days after our trip, I told all my friends about the awesome camping adventure we had gone on. Some of them had never been camping before either, so they thought it sounded like such an exciting thing to do. A few of my friends even asked their parents if they could go camping too after hearing about how much fun I had.I'm so glad my parents took us on that special weekend getaway. Not only did we get to experience camping and being out in nature, but we also spent great quality time together as afamily. We made wonderful memories that I'll never forget. I hope we can go camping again really soon!。

一般过去式写周末或假期,六年级英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Last weekend was awesome! On Friday after school, I raced home to get started on my fun. Mom had promised we could do something special since I got an A on my math test.First up was a trip to the arcade with my best friend Michael. We loaded up our pockets with quarters and hit the racing games first. I was the undisputed king of Need for Speed until Michael snuck past me on Rainbow Road. We spent what felt like hours trying to beat each other's high scores, guzzling down Slurpees between rounds.Once we were finally arcade'd out, we caught the bus over to the mall. I had been saving up my allowance for weeks to buy the new Skyline action figure that just came out. Michael helped me hunt through every toy store until we finally spotted the last one on the top shelf at Games Unlimited. After a celebratory food court lunch of greasy pizza and cheesy breadsticks, we parted ways and I headed home, prized action figure in hand. The next morning, I woke up bright and early. Mom had promised to take me to get new basketball shoes before my big tournament next weekend. We drove across town to the massive Sports Shack outlet. I must have tried on thirty different pairs before finding the perfect bouncy set of Isotoners. Leaving the store, new shoes on my feet, I felt like I could jump right over the roof of our minivan. In the afternoon, Dad took me to the driving range to work on my swing. I whacked away at bucket after bucket of balls, slowly getting the hang of keeping my head still and following through to the target. Every once in a while I'd sky one clear over the netted fence, earning a proud clap on the shoulder from Dad. We played the super goofy mini golf course afterwards and I managed topar almost every hole thanks to my newly grooved stroke. On Sunday, the whole family went for a hike at the nearby state park. The trees were just starting to bud and wildflowers were popping up all over the sun-dappled trails. We spotted a couple deer grazing along the creek and took a million pictures of them. Somehow I ended up carrying my little sister on my shoulders for the second half of the hike since her feet got too tired. After working up a huge appetite, we stopped at my favorite diner on the way home. I plowed through a mega-stack of chocolate chip pancakes with extra syrup. We all left stuffed but satisfied. To walk off our food comas, we hit a couple balls around at the neighborhood batting cages in the evening before calling it a night. I collapsed into bed, worn out but totally content with my adventurous weekend. This past winter break was just as fun-filled...篇2Last Holiday BreakWow, last holiday break was the best! I had been looking forward to it for weeks and weeks. No more getting up super early, no more homework, no more tests. Just pure fun and relaxation for 10 whole days! The break started on a Friday after school. I rushed home, threw my backpack in the corner, and turned on my Xbox. I played video games for a few hours until Mom called me for dinner. After dinner, I went online and chatted with my friends about all the awesome things we were going to do over the break.Saturday morning I slept in until 10am. It felt sooo good not to have that annoying alarm clock blaring at me. Once I finally rolled out of bed, I had a huge stack of pancakes that my dad cooked up. They were still warm and dripping with syrup. Mmmmm! In the afternoon, my buddy Jake came over and we played basketball in the driveway for a couple hours. Jake's a lot taller than me so he usually beats me, but I put up a good fight. Once we got tired of that, we came inside and played more video games. That night, Mom took us to see the new superhero movie that just came out. I had been dying to see it. It was epic! The special effects were mind-blowing. My favorite part was when the hero and the villain had their massive fight in the downtown city area. Buildings were crashing down everywhere. The villain's force field was unbreakable. Or so it seemed...Sunday after church, the whole family piled into the car and we drove up to the mountains for the day. We stopped at a little picnic area and had a huge lunch - fried chicken, potato salad, watermelon, and Mom's famous chocolate chip cookies for dessert. After lunch, Dad took me and my little brother hiking up the mountain trail. The fresh air, the beautiful trees, and the littlecreek flowing beside the path made it all so peaceful and relaxing. When we got back home that evening, I just vegged out on the couch, reading comics and watching TV. I didn't have any cares in the world on that lazy Sunday night. The next day was Memorial Day, but that meant no school again! Yes! Jake came over again in the morning and we set up an elaborate universe for our action figures in the backyard. We spent hours making bases, setting up battles scenes, and coming up with crazy storylines. We were the supreme commanders leading our plastic armies into glorious duty.In the afternoon, Dad fired up the grill and we had a barbecue out on the patio. Aunts, uncles, and cousins all came over. Us kids played some wild games of Ghost in the Graveyard as the day turned into evening. We ran around manically under the twilight sky until we were completely worn out.Tuesday was mostly a lazy day of sleeping in, lounging around the house, reading, and watching TV. That evening though, Mom and Dad took us all out for pizza at my favorite place downtown. I love their deep dish pizza with extra pepperoni and black olives. We stopped for ice cream afterdinner at this old-fashioned ice cream parlor. I got a triple scoop butter pecan sundae that was so rich and creamy. What a treat!Wednesday morning, bright and early, we hit the road for our family vacation down to the beach. It was about a 5-hour drive, but it went pretty quickly with me and my brother zoning out watching movies on the tablet. We stayed at this really nice beach house right on the ocean. You could see and hear the waves crashing onto the shore just from the back patio. For three glorious days, we lived the ultimate beach life. We swam in the ocean, made sandcastles, went beachcombing looking for seashells and shark teeth, and just relaxed and soaked in the warm sunshine and fresh salty air. It was hard coming back home after such an amazing time. But at least I had some souvenirs, cool seashells, and a deep tan to remember it by.The last few days of the break were pretty laid-back. I just hung out with friends, played outside, read books, and got prepped to go back to school. I remember feeling a little bummed that the break went by so quickly. But I was also excited to get back into the routine, see my friends again daily, and keep learning new things. Those 10 days off from school were some of the most fun, happy, and memorable days of my life so far. I made the most of every second by being with my friends, spending quality time with my family, getting outdoors, and pursuing all the things I篇3My Super Fun WeekendLast weekend was awesome! It started on Friday after school.I was so happy the weekend was finally here because school had been really hard that week. We had a huge math test and an essay to write for English class. By Friday afternoon, I was exhausted. When I got home from school, I dropped my backpack and ran outside to play. The weather was beautiful - sunny and warm with a nice breeze. Perfect weather for being outdoors! I rode my bike around the neighborhood for a little while to get some energy out. Then I went over to Tyler's house to see if he wanted to play.Tyler is my best friend and he lives just down the street from me. His mom said he was out back, so I went around to their backyard. Tyler had gotten out his new baseball stuff - a bat, ball, and gloves. He'd gotten it all for his birthday last month. We decided to play catch and practice batting for a little while. After playing baseball for about an hour, we got hot and thirsty. Tyler's mom brought us out some lemonade and we took a break in the shade under the big oak tree. We talked about our favorite baseball teams and players while sipping our lemonade.I loved the ice cold, sweet, and tart taste on such a warm afternoon.Once we felt rested, we played some more baseball until Tyler's dad got home from work. Then Tyler had to go in for dinner, so I rode my bike back home. My mom had cooked one of my favorite meals - spaghetti and meatballs! I was starving after running around outside all evening. I ate two huge platefuls. After dinner, I asked my mom if I could have one of my friends spend the night. She said it was okay, so I called up Jacob. Jacob lives a few streets away and we've been friends since we were in preschool together. His mom said he could come over, so I walked over to his house and we headed back to mine. When we got to my house, Jacob and I went up to my room. We turned on my Xbox and played some video games for a couple of hours. We worked together to beat this really hardlevel that we'd been stuck on. Finally, around 9:30, my mom came up and told us it was time for bed since it was a school night. We got ready for bed and then read comics for a little while before falling asleep.I woke up early the next morning to the smell of pancakes cooking! My mom always makes pancakes on Saturday mornings and they're delicious. Jacob's mom dropped off some overnight things for him while we were still sleeping. After eating a big stack of pancakes, we hung out in my room listening to music and looking at jokes and memes online.Around lunchtime, Jacob's dad came by to pick him up. Jacob had baseball practice that afternoon and then his family was going out for dinner to celebrate his little sister's birthday that evening. After Jacob left, I spent the afternoon playing outside. The nice weather continued into Saturday, so I rode my bike around the neighborhood some more and played basketball with some other kids. For dinner, we grilled hamburgers and had a picnic out in our backyard. My grandparents and aunt and uncle came over too. We played frisbee together after dinner when it started cooling off a little. I loved being able to run around and play frisbee with my whole family. We stayed outside pretty late, wellafter the sun went down, just enjoying each other's company in the nice spring weather. On Sunday morning, I slept in really late, until around 10:30!I stayed in my pajamas and played video games for a couple of hours. For lunch, my parents and I went out for Chinese food, which is my favorite. I got my usual, beef and broccoli, and ate every single bite.In the afternoon, I worked on some homework that was due on Monday. I had to write a book report and study for a science quiz. I finished up my homework just in time for dinner. On Sunday nights, we almost always have breakfast for dinner, like pancakes or waffles. This week it was waffles, which is probably my favorite breakfast food ever. I poured a ton of syrup over my waffles and ate three of them! After dinner, we watched a movie together as a family. We all curled up in the living room in our pjs with popcorn and candy. The movie was really funny and we laughed a lot. Before I knew it, it was already 9 o'clock which meant time for me to get ready for bed since I had school the next day.Overall, last weekend was so much fun! I got to spend time outside,p lay with friends, eat some delicious food, and just relax and enjoy my time away from school. Weekends are the best andthey always go by way too fast. This one was over in a blink of an eye! But at least there's always another weekend coming up to look forward to.篇4Last weekend was the best! On Friday after school, my friend Jake came over to play. We were so excited because it was the start of our winter break from school. We played video games for a while, and then decided to go build a fort in the woods behind my house. We gathered up a bunch of sticks, branches, and even an old tarp we found in the garage. For a couple hours, we worked hard constructing the coolest fort ever. When it was done, we had made sort of a little hut with the tarp over the top to keep out rain or snow. Inside, we had made seats out of logs and even a table from a flat piece of wood. It was our secret hideout! That night, I had Jake sleep over. We stayed up late watching movies and eating junk food. My mom let us camp out in the fort since it wasn't too cold out. Sleeping in the fort was so much fun! We told spooky stories and looked at the stars through the trees.I woke up a bunch of times from strange noises that turned out to be raccoons or squirrels. The next morning, we cooked breakfast over a little fire we built safely in the backyard. We made scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes. They tasted so delicious cooked over the open flame. After we ate, we played hunters and gathered up fallen branches to use as bows and arrows. We stalked all kinds of imaginary prey through the trees.Later, a bunch of other friends came over and we had an epic battle with our bows and arrows. We split into teams and tried to take out each other's forts. The arrows were just stuck into the ground so no one got hurt, but it felt so realistic! In the end, my team was victorious. For lunch, my dad grilled burgers and hot dogs for us. We took a break to eat and rested under the trees. A couple of my friends' parents came to pick them up after lunch. Jake's mom said he could stay over again that night. The rest of the day, Jake and I just hung out and played in the backyard. We climbed trees, explored the little creek, and just ran around having fun. As it got dark, we headed back to the fort to make another campfire. We roasted marshmallows and stared at the stars some more.On Sunday morning, I woke up feeling a little sad that our awesome weekend was coming to an end. Jake and I packed upthe fort, putting all the sticks and tarp back into the garage. We had one final mission to go on as hunters, stalking through the woods one last time. For lunch, we just had sandwiches before Jake's mom came to pick him up. We made plans for him to come over again the next weekend. After he left, I spent the afternoon cleaning my room and getting things ready for when school started again. I was bummed that our winter break was basically over, but so grateful we had been able to have such an amazing weekend!Overall, it was the perfect way to spend our holiday away from school. Getting to be outdoors, using our imaginations, and spending time with friends was everything I could ask for. I made so many great memories that weekend that I'll never forget. Nights in the fort, fighting with bows and arrows, roasting food over the fire -- it was all incredible. I wish every weekend could be that fun and exciting!篇5Last weekend was the best! It was our school's spring break, so I had the whole week off from classes. My parents had to work for part of the week, but we went on a fun family trip for the last few days.On Thursday morning, we packed up the car with our suitcases, snacks, and games for the drive. I was so excited because we were going to the beach! We left right after my dad got home from work around lunchtime. The drive took forever - it felt like we were in the car for days. But my sister and I kept ourselves entertained by playing road trip games like I Spy and 20 Questions. We also listened to music and looked for interesting billboards and landmarks out the window. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, we arrived at the beach town. Our hotel was right on the beach, which was amazing. As soon as we got our room, my sister and I begged my parents to go down to the sand. The sun was starting to set, so the beach wasn't too crowded. We ran straight into the water, not even caring that it was freezing cold! The waves were pretty big that evening which made it fun to jump over them. We splashed around for a while until my parents called us in as it was getting dark. That night, we had a delicious seafood dinner at a restaurant overlooking the beach. I had shrimp and fries, which is my favorite meal. For dessert, we split a huge piece of chocolate cake. I was so full after dinner but it was worth it! When we gotback to the hotel, we were all exhausted from the long drive and beach time, so we went right to bed.The next morning, I woke up early due to the sunlight streaming in through the windows. I went out on our balcony and saw the most gorgeous sunrise over the ocean. The sky had a rainbow of pinks, oranges, and purples. It was breathtaking. Once my family woke up, we had a quick breakfast at the hotel before heading right back down to the beach. We spent the entire day on the sand. My dad and I played lots of fun beach games like frisbee, paddleball, and we even had a swimming race further out in the ocean. My mom preferred to relax and work on her tan, while my sister split her time between swimming with us and building elaborate sandcastles. For lunch, we ate the sandwiches and snacks we had brought with us.As the afternoon went on, the beach got more and more crowded with other families. Some teenagers next to us had a portable speaker playing music that we could dance and jump around to. We made sure to reapply sunscreen about a million times so we wouldn't get burned. When we started to get a little bored of the beach scene, we decided to walk along the boardwalk and do some souvenir shopping.I loved looking in all the different beach stores filled with shells, t-shirts, bags, and other fun knick-knacks. My dad let me pick out a few small things like a seashell bracelet and a magnet with my name on it. The ice cream shop on the boardwalk was calling our names, so we stopped for a treat in the early evening once it cooled down a bit. My sister and I both got our favorite flavors - she had mint chocolate chip and I had cookies and cream! After more walking around and people watching, we went back to our hotel to clean up for dinner. We found a restaurant right on the beach to watch the sunset over the water while eating fresh seafood again. This time I got a kids' portion of fish and chips, which was still a huge serving! We were all stuffed by the time we rolled ourselves back to the hotel. Despite being so tired, my sister and I begged our parents if we could one last walk on the beach to look at the stars. They couldn't say no, so we spent about an hour lying on the sand, staring up at the beautiful night sky. I tried to count how many stars I could see, but eventually lost track. We even spotted a few shooting stars! The next morning, we had to get on the road early to drive back home before afternoon. I was really sad to leave the gorgeous beach, but also exhausted from all of our activitiesover the past few days. This time, the drive back seemed to fly by as I slept for most of it. Whenever I woke up, I watched movies on the tablet to pass the time. Before I knew it, we were horne sweet horne. That weekend at the beach was an absolute dream! I made so many wonderful memories with my family. We were all tired after so much sun, sand, and walking around, but it was worth every second. I hope we can go on another beach trip again sometime very soon. Until then, I'll just have to daydream about the calming ocean, yummy seafood, and relaxing beach days!篇6Last Weekend's AdventuresLast weekend was so much fun! It started on Friday after school. My best friend Katie came over and we played outside for a few hours. We rode our bikes all around the neighborhood and raced each other down the big hill on Oak Street. I won most of the races because my bike is a little bit faster than Katie's.After riding our bikes, we went to the park near my house. We played on the swings and the seesaw for a while. Then we tried climbing up the big twisty slide, but a older kid yelled at us that we weren't allowed to do that. So instead we played tag andhid behind all the big trees and bushes. I'm really fast so I was "it" most of the time chasing Katie. When we got tired of running around, we sat under a shady tree and I showed Katie my new comic book that my dad bought me. It's called "The Uncanny X-Kids" and it's about these kids who get superpowers from a weird accident. My favorite is Frostbite who can freeze anything just by pointing at it! Katie thought Blazerina who can shoot fireballs was the coolest. We read it together and acted out some of the scenes where they fight the evil Dr. Brickenbacher. After a while, Katie's mom called and said it was time for her to go home for dinner. We said goodbye and made plans to have a sleepover at her house the next night. I went inside my house and had macaroni and cheese for dinner, which is my favorite meal ever. Then I played some video games for a couple hours before taking a bath and going to bed.The next morning, I woke up early around 8am because I was so excited for my sleepover at Katie's house. I ate a big breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. My mom made me clean my room and pack my backpack with clothes, my toothbrush, and some games and books to take to Katie's.Finally at noon, my dad drove me over to Katie's house. Her mom said we could order pizza for dinner, which is also one of my favorites foods! As soon as I got there, we ran upstairs to Katie's room and I set up my sleeping bag on the floor. Then we played dress up in her closet with all her fun costumes. I was a doctor for a while and gave Katie a checkup. Then she was a fireman and "rescued" me from her bed.For lunch we had PB&J sandwiches that Katie's mom made for us. After lunch, we played outside on the swingset and tried jumping off to see who could jump the farthest. We took turns pushing each other really high on the swings. I got a little dizzy after spinning around so many times! In the afternoon, Katie's older brother had a baseball game at the park. We went and cheered him and his team on from the bleachers. They ended up winning 7-5 which was really exciting! On the way home, we stopped for ice cream at Mr. Dan's parlor. I got my favorite chocolate peanut butter swirl in a waffle cone. When we got back to Katie's house, her dad had already ordered the pizza. It had pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese, which is exactly how I like it. We watched a movie calledFreaky Friday while we ate pizza on the couch. The movie was pretty funny with the mom and daughter swapping bodies! After the movie, we played some board games like Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders. We also did some makeup and painted each other's nails different colors. Then it started getting late so we got ready for bed. We put on our comfy pajamas and told scary stories with just a flashlight until we got too spooked! Finally, we fell asleep around 11pm I think. I had so much fun at the sleepover! The next morning, we had yummy chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast that Katie's dad made. Then my mom came and picked me up around lunchtime. Katie and I were tired but happy after our awesome weekend hanging out together. I can't wait for our next sleepover!。

Get ready for an action-packed adventure that'll make you wish you were me!The day started pretty early, as it always does in my house. My little sister came barging into my room at 7 AM, jumping on my bed and yelling about how it was time to wake up. I groaned and tried to pull the covers over my head, but she's relentless when she wants to play. After a few minutes of her poking me and making weird noises, I finally gave up and got out of bed.Downstairs, Mom was making her famous pancakes. The heavenly smell of butter and syrup filled the air, and my mouth was watering before I even reached the kitchen. We all dug in, getting maple syrup and powdered sugar everywhere. It was a sticky but delicious mess!Once we'd stuffed ourselves, it was time for chores. I had to clean my room, which seemed impossible since it looked like a tornado had blown through. But with some motivational music blasting, I managed to pick up all my clothes, make my bed, and even vacuum the floor. Mom inspected it and gave me a proud smile, which made all the hard work worth it.The rest of the morning was free time, so I headed outside to meet up with my friends. We've got this cool hideout in the woods behind Jake's house – it's just a little fort made of fallen branches and old tarps, but to us, it's like a magical kingdom. We hung out there for a while, coming up with crazy ideas for forts and castles we could build if we were kings.Around lunchtime, we headed back to my place for sandwiches and chips. Mom always makes the best lunches, with all our favorite snacks and drinks. While we were eating, she mentioned that Dad was going to take us to the mall that afternoon. We all cheered – the mall is pretty much paradise for a kid!It was an absolute madhouse, as usual. We ran from store to store, checking out the latest toys, video games, and candy. I begged Dad to buy me this cool remote control car that could do stunts and tricks. After negotiating for what felt like hours, hefinally caved and said I could get it if I did extra chores for two weeks. Deal! The rest of the evening was pretty chill. We got pizza for dinner and watched a movie together as a family. It was one of those silly comedies that makes you laugh until your stomach hurts. By the time it ended and I was getting ready for bed, I felt happy and content – the perfect way to end a fun-filled Sunday. As I was drifting off to sleep, I couldn't help but feel excited for all the adventures the next weekend would bring. Being a 6th grader is tiring but awesome! We get to run around with our friends, indulge in our favorite treats, and just have a blast being kids. Last Sunday was one for the books, that's for sure.Well, that's all for now, friends. This 6th grader is ready for some zzz's so I can wake up refreshed and do it all over again! A kid's life is simply the best. Thanks for letting me share my Sunday tales with you. Until next time!篇2Last Sunday was a really fun and exciting day for me! I woke up early because I was too excited to sleep in. My best friend Alex was coming over to my house and we had made big plans for the day. After eating a quick breakfast of cereal and orange juice, I went upstairs to get ready. I put on my favorite jeans that have rips in the knees and a cool t-shirt with a skateboarding logo on it. Alex loves to skateboard too so I knew he'd like my shirt.At篇3My Fun Sunday AdventureHi everyone! I want to tell you about my awesome adventure last Sunday. It was so much fun! Let me share all the details with you.First, in the morning, I woke up early because I was so excited about the day. My parents and I decided to go to the park for a picnic. We packed a delicious lunch with sandwiches, fruits, and my favorite snacks. I couldn't wait to dig in!When we arrived at the park, it was a beautiful sunny day. The sky was clear, and the birds were singing. I could see many families enjoying their time together. We found a cozy spot near a big tree and spread out our picnic blanket. It felt so nice to sit on the grass and enjoy the fresh air. After eating, I played on the swings with my friends. We laughed and had so much fun. We also played a game of soccer.I scored a goal! It made me feel like a superstar. We ran around, chasing the ball and cheering each other on.Next, we decided to explore the park. We walked along the winding paths, discovering beautiful flowers and tall trees. We even saw a cute squirrel running up a tree. It was so adorable! We took pictures to capture these wonderful moments. As we continued our adventure, we stumbled upon a small pond. There were ducks swimming gracefully in the water. It was mesmerizing to watch them glide across the surface. We fed them some bread crumbs, and they quacked happily. I felt like I had made some new feathered friends. After spending a lot of time in the park, we headed to the ice cream parlor. We all deserved a sweet treat after such an exciting day. I chose my favorite flavor, chocolate, and it tasted heavenly.I licked the creamy goodness, feeling happy and content. Finally, it was time to go home. As we drove back, I looked out of the car window, reminiscing about the amazing day I had.I felt grateful for the time spent with my family and friends, and for the beautiful memories we created together. In conclusion, my Sunday adventure was filled with laughter, games, and delicious food. The park was a perfect place to relax and have fun. I will cherish these memories forever. I can't wait for the next weekend to come, so I can have another exciting adventure! That's all for now, my friends. I hope you enjoyed hearing about my Sunday adventure. See you soon!Yours,[Your Name]篇4My Awesome Sunday Adventure!Last Sunday was truly an awesome day! It started out like any other Sunday morning – I woke up feeling lazy and didn't want to get out of bed. But then I remembered that my best friend, Jake, was coming over, and we had plans for a super fun day together. That got me super excited! After a yummy breakfast of pancakes and scrambled eggs (my favorite!), I quickly got dressed and brushed my teeth. Just as I was finishing up, the doorbell rang. It was Jake, right on timeas usual. We high-fived and did our secret handshake that we made up last year."So, what's the plan for today?" Jake asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.I grinned. "Well, first up, we're going to the new trampoline park that just opened up in town. I heard it's massive and has tons of cool stuff!""Awesome!" Jake exclaimed. "Let's go!"We asked my dad to drive us there, and soon we arrived at Jump-a-Rama Trampoline Park. It was huge! There werewall-to-wall trampolines, a massive foam pit, dodge ball courts, and even a trapeze swing. Jake and I looked at each other with wide eyes – this place was a dream come true! For the next two hours, we bounced, flipped, and somersaulted our way around the park. We played extreme dodge ball (which Jake was amazing at) and tried to out-trick each other on the trampolines. I even mustered up the courage to try the trapeze swing, which was both terrifying and thrilling!By the time we left, we were exhausted but grinning from ear to ear. "That was epic!" Jake exclaimed as we gulped down some much-needed water. But our day wasn't over yet. Next up was a trip to the arcade at the mall. We loaded up our cards with tokens and set off to conquer every game in sight. From racing games to shooters to classics like Pac-Man, we tried them all. I was the reigning champion of the basketball game, while Jake ruled supreme at air hockey. After a couple of hours, our token stash was depleted, but we had scored major bragging rights over each other. We decided to spend our final hour at the mall eating our favorite food – pizza! As we devoured slice after delicious slice of pepperoni pizza, we recounted the highlights of our day. "That trapeze swing was crazy!" I said with a laugh. "I thought I was going to wet my pants!"Jake nodded vigorously. "And did you see that insane dodge ball move I pulled off? I'll have to teach you that one."All too soon, it was time for Jake's mom to pick him up. We said our goodbyes, already making plans for next Sunday's adventure. As I waved goodbye to Jake from my front door, I felt a surge of happiness and contentment. Spending an entire daywith my best friend, doing all our favorite activities – what could be better than that? I couldn't wait to tell my classmates all about my awesome Sunday adventure!篇5My Super SundaysSundays are the best days of the week for me! There's no school, so I get to sleep in late and just relax and have fun. My Sundays are always packed with awesome activities and good times with my family and friends. Let me tell you all about how I usually spend these great days.First thing in the morning, I love sleeping until whenever I feel like getting up - sometimes as late as 10am! My parents are really cool and let me sleep as late as I want on Sundays since I don't have school the next day. When I finally wake up, the first thing I do is grab my tablet and hop on my favorite games or watch some YouTube videos while still laying in my cozy bed. After an hour or two of lazying around, I'll finally get up and head to the kitchen for a big yummy breakfast. My dad is an amazing cook and makes the best pancakes, waffles, french toast, you name it! He goes all out on Sunday breakfasts. Whiledevouring the delicious food, I'll chat with my parents about my week at school and what I have planned for the upcoming week.Once breakfast is done, it's time to get ready for my favorite activity - sports! If the weather is nice out, I'll usually go outside and play basketball, soccer, football or baseball with my neighborhood friends. We have a bunch of kids on my street around my age, so we can always get a good game going. My buddy Jake lives right next door, so he and I will rally the troops every Sunday morning to pick teams and decide what sport to play. The games can get pretty intense and competitive, but in a fun way. We take breaks for water and snacks, and just have a total blast running around outside getting exercise. If the weather is rainy or cold, then we'll take the sports inside and head to the community center gym to play basketball or volleyball. Or sometimes we'll go to the skating rink and play floor hockey while wearing roller blades. As long as we can exercise and be active, we're happy!Around 2pm, we'll break for lunch. Usually my friends and I will walk over to the mall food court and grab something like pizza, Chinese food, or Chipotle. We'll sit around the food court eating and laughing about funny things that happened duringour sports games that morning. Getting food at the mall is the best because they have so many tasty options. After lunch, we'll head over to the mall arcade and movie theater. We'll spend a couple hours playing all the awesome arcade games like air hockey, skiing games, racing games and basketball games. We'll keep trading off the arcade credits to see who can get the high score on each game. Jake is a master at the skiing game but I'm unbeatable at air hockey! Once we've had our fill of the arcade, we'll go catch whatever movie is playing that we want to see. Superhero movies, comedies, action flicks - they're all fun to watch at the theater with a tub of popcorn.By about 6pm, I'm starting to get worn out from the active day so I'll head home for dinner with my family. We'll all sit around the table and my parents will ask me about my day and what I did with my friends. I'll give them all the exciting details while chowing down on my mom's delicious home-cooked meal. She's such an incredible cook! After dinner, it's time for one of my favorite traditions - family game night! We'll clear off the dining room table and break out classics like Monopoly, Life, Battleship or Guess Who. Or we'll play some fun card games like Phase 10 or Uno. My little sister always gets a big kick out of beating me and my parents, which drives me crazy. But it's all in good fun and we have a blast together as a family. We'll snack on things like chips, pretzels and my mom's famous chocolate chip cookies while playing games and joking around. As the night winds down around 9pm, I'll get ready for bed and maybe read, draw or watch a show in my room for an hour before falling asleep. Sometimes I have a little homework to complete for Monday as well. Then I'll drift off feeling happy and satisfied after another awesome super Sunday! Those are the kinds of amazing Sundays I get to experience week after week. From sleeping late to sports to the mall to family time - they are the total perfect day for a kid like me. I feel so lucky and grateful that my parents make sure I have this special time to recharge, be active, and make lifelong篇6Last Sunday was a beautiful spring day, and I was excited to spend it outside enjoying the warm weather. I woke up feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep and hurried downstairs for breakfast. My mom had made my favorite - pancakes with lots of syrup and fresh fruit on the side."Thanks mom, this looks delicious!" I said as I dug into the stack of fluffy pancakes. She smiled and reminded me to eat slowly and not make a mess. Even though I'm 11 years old, she still treats me like a little kid sometimes! After clearing my plate, I rushed back upstairs to get dressed for the day. I put on a t-shirt with my favorite cartoon character, a pair of shorts, and some well-worn sneakers that were perfect for running and playing outside. I grabbed my basketball from the corner of my room and headed back downstairs."Can I go outside and shoot some hoops?" I asked my dad, who was reading the newspaper at the kitchen table."Sure thing, but don't go too far. And be back in a couple of hours for lunch," he replied.I hurried out the back door to our driveway basketball hoop, thrilled to be spending some time practicing my jump shot. I dribbled the ball a few times to warm up, then started shooting from different spots - close, far away, to the left and right. It felt so good to be active in the sunshine after being cooped up inside all winter! After making about 20 baskets in a row, I heard a voice calling my name. It was my best friend Tyler from next door."Hey Sam, watcha up to?" he shouted from his yard."Just shooting some hoops. You wanna come over and play H-O-R-S-E?" I suggested."You're on!" Tyler raced through the gate between our yards carrying his own basketball. We spent the next hour facing off in an intense game ofH-O-R-S-E, each of us desperate not to be the first one to spell out the whole word. We were making ridiculously difficult trick shots by the end - shooting backwards, between our legs, from miles away. Tyler finally missed a no-look, behind-the-back shot and had to add an "E" to his score. I couldn't stop gloating!"Haha, nice one Ty! You're such a horse!" I teased, laughing hysterically. He punched me in the arm but was laughing too."Shut up, you got lucky. I'll get you back next time for sure," Tyler promised.Just then, my mom stuck her head out the back door. "Sam! Tyler! Time for lunch, you two. Come and get cleaned up."We raced inside, working up an appetite after all our running around. Mom had made sandwiches, carrots and ranch dip, plus a pitcher of cold lemonade. We gladly gulped it all down at the kitchen table."This lemonade is perfect for such a hot day," Tyler said between sips. I had to agree. There's nothing as refreshing as an ice cold glass of lemonade when you've been sweating outdoors. After lunch, Tyler had to head home but made me promise we could get together later. "My new video game came in the mail yesterday. You've gotta come over and try it!" he told me excitedly."For sure, I'll text you later," I replied, giving him our secret handshake before he left through the back gate. With some unexpected free time in the afternoon, I considered my options. I could read a book and relax in the hammock we had hanging between two trees in the backyard. Or I could go for a bike ride around the neighborhood with my dog Rufus. Ultimately, I decided it was too nice of a day to spend much time sitting around inside.I went into the garage and got out my bike, putting a leash on Rufus so he could trot alongside me. We headed off down the sidewalk, breathing in the smell of freshly cut grass and blossoming flowers. Rufus was terribly excited, smelling every tree and patch of grass along the way. I had to keep pulling gently on his leash to get him to keep moving. We rode all around our neighborhood, waving to neighbors who were also out enjoying the sunny spring day. At one point, I stopped to pet a friendly outdoor cat lounging on a front porch. Rufus went a little crazy, barking and straining at his leash. The cat simply blinked slowly, totally unfazed by Rufus's loud protests. After about an hour of riding around, I could tell Rufus was getting tired. His little legs weren't used to so much exercise! I turned us around and coasted back home, giving my legs a rest too. When we made it back, Rufus immediately collapsed in a shady spot in the backyard with his tongue lolling out. I grabbed a big bowl of cool water for him to rehydrate.I was feeling hot and sweaty too after our adventure, so I went inside to take a cool shower. I changed into some fresh clothes and considered what to do with the rest of my afternoon. That's when I remembered Tyler's new video game!I quickly sent him a text: "You up for some gaming? I'll be right over!""Yeah, get over here!" Tyler replied enthusiastically.I hurried through the gate once more and went inside Tyler's house. He was already set up in the living room, video game controllers in hand."This game is so awesome," he gushed as I flopped down onto the couch next to him. "You're gonna love the graphics and gameplay."Tyler spent a while explaining the backstory and concept of the game. Then he showed me how to operate the controllers to move my character around. After a bunch of practice rounds, we were ready for the real thing. We played for hours, only taking breaks to refuel on snacks and soda that Tyler's mom brought us. We were totally immersed, working together to progress through different levels and worlds. At one point, I let out a huge yell when I accomplished a difficult maneuver, making Tyler's little sister come running in to see what was going on."We're just playing video games, Lily. Don't be such a baby," Tyler told her, rolling his eyes. She stuck her tongue out at us before wandering away. Before I knew it, I heard my mom's voice calling from the backyard."Sam! Time to come home for dinner!""Aw man, just one more level?" I begged Tyler."You'd better listen to your mom. We can pick up here tomorrow," he said understandingly."You're right. Thanks for having me over, that game is epic!"I gave Tyler a high five before reluctantly heading home. That night at dinner, my parents asked me all about my day."Sounds like you crammed a ton of fun into one Sunday!" my dad remarked after I recounted my adventures. My mom added, "I'm just glad you got plenty of exercise and fresh air instead of being stuck inside all day."I assured them, "Don't worry, it was the perfect mix of outdoor play and video games!"As I got ready for bed that night, I reflected on what an incredible Sunday it had been. Playing basketball, biking with Rufus, hanging out with Tyler - it was the kind of fun-filled day every kid dreams of during the long winter. I went to sleep feeling satisfied but also eagerly awaiting the freedom of more warm spring and summer days to come.。

英语作文一般过去时态写周末活动全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was excited. My best friend Sam was coming over to spend the night. We had been looking forward to it for weeks!First thing after breakfast, Sam came over and we went outside to play. The weather was perfect - sunny and warm but not too hot. We played catch for a little while, tossing a baseball back and forth. Sam has a really good arm and can throw pretty far. A couple times I missed the ball and had to chase after it.After that, we decided to ride our bikes around the neighborhood. We raced each other down the big hill on Oak Street. I peddled as fast as I could, leaning over the handlebars. The wind whipped through my hair as I zoomed down the hill. I thought for sure I would win, but then Sam passed me right at the bottom! His bike is a little newer and lighter than mine. When we got tired of riding bikes, we came back to my house for lunch. My mom made us ham and cheese sandwiches with chips and an apple. Sam's favorite snack is Oreos, so she had those for us too. We gulped down our food because we wanted to get back outside quickly.Next, we played badminton in the backyard for a little while. I'm not very good at badminton yet, but Sam helped me learn. He showed me how to keep my eye on the birdie and how to swing the racket properly. After about an hour of that, we were both hot and sweaty, so we took a break. For our break, we went inside and played some video games. Sam brought over his Nintendo Switch, so we played Mario Kart for a while. I beat him the first couple races, but then he started winning most of the time. Afterwards, we plugged in my Xbox and played Minecraft building crazy structures.Eventually, it was time for dinner. We had tacos with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. Sam's mom doesn't let him eat very spicy food, so he didn't add any hot sauce to his. I put a little bit of hot sauce on mine though because I like things pretty spicy! The tacos were delicious. After dinner, we begged our parents if we could have a campout in the backyard. They finally said yes after we promisedto go to bed at a reasonable time. We dragged out my little pup tent and set it up on the grass. We put our sleeping bags inside along with some flashlights and comic books to read.Once it got dark outside, we made a small fire in the fire pit. We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores, getting chocolate everywhere! We told scary stories and looked for constellations in the night sky. I spotted the Big Dipper and Sam found Orion. Around 10 o'clock, we finally went into the tent to go to sleep, tired from our fun day.On Sunday morning, I woke up first. I unzipped the tent and saw my dad was already making pancakes on the patio! After we ate the yummy pancakes, Sam's mom came to pick him up. I was sad for our weekend to end, but we'd had such a blast. We made plans for Sam to come over again in a few weeks. I can't wait!篇2My Awesome WeekendLast weekend was the best! I had so much fun with my family. We did a bunch of really cool stuff. Let me tell you all about it!On Saturday morning, I woke up bright and early. I was so excited because my dad said we were going on a big adventurethat day. After breakfast, we all piled into the car. My little brother Josh wouldn't stop asking "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" He's so annoying sometimes! Finally, we arrived at the mountain trails. My dad had packed a big backpack with all our hiking stuff - waters, snacks, a first aid kit, you name it. We started hiking up the trails and it was really pretty with all the tall trees and birds chirping. Josh got tired after a while and started whining about having to walk so much. Dad gave him a piggyback ride for a little bit to help him out. When we got to the top of the mountain, the view was breathtaking! You could see for miles and miles. We had a little picnic lunch at the summit. The sandwiches tasted so good after all that hiking. After we recharged with food and rest, we headed back down the mountain a different way.On the way down, Josh saw a deer and got really excited. We all stopped and watched it for a few minutes before it bounded off into the trees. By the time we made it back to the car, we were exhausted but felt so accomplished for conquering that huge mountain. I slept like a log when we got home that night! The next day was Sunday, and we slept in a little bit in the morning. Then we had a big pancake breakfast - my favorite! After we cleaned up from breakfast, Dad said it was time forsome backyard games. We did a three-legged race, a sack race, a wheelbarrow race, and other silly games like that. Josh and I were on a team together and we won most of the games! Mom and Dad gave us big trophies made out of cardboard boxes and aluminum foil. We felt like champions. For lunch, we had a cookout in the backyard. Dad grilled up some burgers and hot dogs. We had potato salad, coleslaw, and all the fixins. It was delicious! While we were eating, it started sprinkling a little rain. We all stayed outside though and just enjoyed the cooler weather from the light rain. After lunch, Mom suggested we all go to the movies together. We hardly ever go as a whole family, so that was really fun. We saw the new Pixar movie that just came out. The animated movies are always my favorite because the characters are so funny and silly. We stopped for ice cream after the movie too before heading home. That evening, we had a family game night. We played Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, and Guess Who. Josh got mad when I won most of the games - he's such a sore loser! But he got over it quickly when Mom busted out the cookies and milk for snacks. We watched a movie together before bed and I could hardly keep my eyes open by the end! That weekend was one I'll never forget. We packed so much fun into just two days. I loved spending all that quality time with my parents and brother. We made so many amazing memories hiking, playing games, eating good food, and just being together. Even though Josh gets on my nerves sometimes, I'm lucky to have such a great family. I can't wait for our next weekend adventure!篇3My Awesome WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was too excited to sleep in. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to the kitchen. My mom was already up making pancakes. They smelled sooooo good!"Morning mom!" I said as I gave her a big hug. "Can I help?""Sure honey," she replied. "You can mix the batter for the next batch."I carefully poured the pancake mix into a big bowl and added the milk and eggs, just like mom showed me. Then I stirred and stirred until there were no more lumps. Mom pouredsome of my batter onto the hot griddle and it started to sizzle. The smell made my tummy rumble!Once the pancakes were ready, we called dad and my little brother down for breakfast. We topped our pancakes with syrup and berries and dug right in. My brother got syrup all over his face and we all laughed at his silly sticky smile. After we cleaned up the kitchen, mom and dad told us to get our swimsuits on because we were going to the community pool!I was so excited because I love swimming more than anything. I quickly put on my Paw Patrol swimsuit and grabbed my googles and pool toys. When we got to the pool, the lifeguards had just opened up so we claimed some nice lounge chairs. I immediately ran and jumped into the deep end doing a big, splashy cannonball! The water was cool and refreshing on the hot summer day.I spent almost the whole day swimming around and playing pool games with my brother. We took turns riding on the big inflatable alligator and raced each other doing laps across the pool. A couple times the lifeguards had to warn me about running on the slippery concrete, but I was just having too much fun to slow down! Finally, when the sky started turning orange, mom and dad said we had to go home and get ready for dinner. I was exhausted from all the swimming so I didn't even argue. As we were leaving, I did one last cannonball into the deep end, splashing mom and getting her all wet. She pretended to be mad but I could tell she was trying not to laugh. For dinner, we decided to get pizza from my favorite place, Pietro's Pizza Palace. We always order the same things - pepperoni for me, sausage for dad, veggies for mom, and plain cheese for my brother since he's a picky eater. While we waited for our pizza, I built a huge tower out of the red plastic cup things that held the straw covers. I tried to make it as tall as I could before it would tumble over. It fell down a bunch of times, but I didn't give up until I heard "ORDER FOR MICHAELS!" called out over the speakers.I gulped down three big slices of my pepperoni pizza. It was still so hot that the cheese pulled off in those sturdy strings when you took a bite. After we were done, I put a couple quarters into the game machine and played a few rounds of the racing video game.By the time we got home, I could barely keep my eyes open.I quickly put on my PJs and brushed my teeth before floppingonto my bed, completely tuckered out from my awesome day. I fell sound asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. On Sunday morning, mom let me sleep in a little later since I was so worn out. When I finally made my way downstairs, dad had set up the sprinkler on the lawn and was watering the plants and flowers. I loved running through the sprinklers, so I quickly got my swimsuit back on and went outside.I spent the whole morning darting through the sprinklers getting drenched from head to toe. Whenever the sprinkler would change directions, I'd have to quickly spin around so I didn't get sprayed in the face. My brother came out later and we started a game of sprinkler tag where you were safe if you were in the sprinkler's stream.Around lunchtime, mom called us in for sandwiches and lemonade. The lemonade was perfectly sweet and tart and hit the spot on the hot day. Once we finished eating, dad set up the Slip N Slide that we got a few summers ago. It's a long strip of yellow plastic that makes a super slippery slide when you spray it with water from the hose.Me and my brother took turns running towards the slide and diving onto our bellies to slip all the way across the grassline. Dad put a little dish soap on the slide to make it extra fast andslick. We were flying so fast that we slid way past the end of the slide and tumbled into the grass! We did that for hours and hours, taking turns spraying the hose until our arms got too tired.Eventually mom told us we needed to clean up and get ready to go to grandma's house for Sunday dinner. We were both pretty sunburned and exhausted, so we didn't protest too much. I put on one of my nice shirts and we piled into the car for the short drive over.At grandma's house, I gotazu gs and kisses from her and my aunts and uncles. All my cousins were there too so we had a total of 8 kids running around her house causing chaos! After we ate grandma's famous fried chicken and mashed potatoes, us kids went out to the backyard to play on the swingset and run through the sprinklers that grandpa had set up.We played outside for what felt like forever until it started getting dark. I came inside with my shoes leaving trails of mud across grandma's clean floors. She just laughed and told me to leave them at the back door next time. As we were getting ready to leave, she stuffed my pockets full of cookies "for the drive" and gave me another big hug and kiss goodbye. In the car on the way home, I yawned about a million times. Mom laughed and said I must have had a really fun weekend if I was so worn out. My eyes could barely stay open, but I didn't want the weekend to end because it had been so awesome. Once we got home, I gave my parents a hug and kiss goodnight before immediately falling into a deep sleep, dreaming about all the fun I had explored, swam and played over those two wonderful days.篇4My Super Fun Weekend!Last weekend was so awesome! On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was too excited to sleep in. I jumped out of bed and put on my favorite Batman pajamas. Then I ran downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast."Good morning, sweetie," said my mom as she made my favorite - chocolate chip pancakes! I gobbled them up quickly because I couldn't wait for the day to start. After breakfast, my best friend Michael came over to my house. We raced upstairs to my room and I showed him my newest comic books and action figures. Michael thought my Hulk figure was the coolest! We spent a few hours smashing theHulk into my other figures and making up silly stories about the superheroes battling evil villains.Around lunchtime, we went back downstairs and had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with some apple slices. My mom always cuts the crusts off for me because I don't like them. Once we finished eating, I asked my mom if we could go to the park. She said yes, so we jumped up and down cheering! At the park, Michael and I played on the swings for a really long time, trying to see who could go the highest. Then we went down the big twisty slide over and over again. We also played tag and hid behind trees when the other person was "it." I was huffing and puffing because we ran around so much! After a couple hours at the park, my mom said it was time to go home. Michael's mom came to pick him up too. We said goodbye and I felt a little sad because I had so much fun with my buddy. When I got home, I was really thirsty from running around. My mom gave me a big glass of lemonade that was perfect for cooling me down on the hot day. Then I went up to my room to read some of my new comic books.Later on, my dad came home from work. He always likes to wrestle with me when he gets home! We rolled around on the floor laughing and being silly. Sometimes I would win and sometimes he would. After we were tired out from horsing around, we just laid on the floor catching our breath. For dinner, my mom ordered pizza - my favorite food ever! We got a pepperoni pizza and I ate way too many slices. I felt like I was going to pop by the end! After dinner, we watched a movie together as a family. We all cuddled up on the couch under blankets while we watched the funny talking animal movie. I laughed really hard at all the silly jokes.Eventually the movie ended and it was time for me to get ready for bed. I put on my Spiderman pajamas and brushed my teeth really well. Then my mom read me a bedtime story about a brave knight.I fell asleep so happy after having such an fun-filled day with my family and best friend. I couldn't wait to wake up and do it all over again! On Sunday morning, my dad let me sleep in a little later. When I finally woke up, I could smell my favorite breakfast -chocolate chip pancakes again! This time after breakfast, my dad took me to the backyard to play catch. We threw the baseball back and forth and I was getting better and better at catching it each time.In the afternoon, my aunt, uncle and cousins came over for a little family get-together. All the grown-ups sat outside on the patio while us kids played in the backyard. My cousins and I ran around chasing each other and played tag. We also played hide-and-seek for a while. My cousin Steven was really good at finding us every time!Later on, my uncle fired up the grill and barbecued some hamburgers and hot dogs for all of us. We got to eat outside at the patio table. I put ketchup and mustard all over my burger! For a side we had potato salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob - my favorite veggie. Everything tasted so yummy. After we ate, my aunt brought out freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I probably ate four or five of them because I couldn't get enough! My aunt makes the best cookies.Once it started getting dark out, we all went inside and the grown-ups talked for a little while longer. Us kids played one final game of hide-and-seek before my cousins had to go home. Then it was time for bed again after such a fun-filled weekend! I gave my aunt, uncle and cousins big hugs goodbye and told them to come back again soon. After my bedtime routine of pajamas and tooth brushing, my dad read me a story and I fell quickly fell asleep, completely tuckered out. That weekend was one of the funnest I've ever had! Between playing with my best friend, going to the park, wrestling with my dad, watching a silly movie, playing outside with my cousins, and eating all my favorite foods - it was simply perfect. I made so many wonderful memories that I'll never forget. I hope every weekend can be as super fun as that one! I'm already counting down the days until next weekend!篇5My Super Fun WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! It started on Friday after school. My mom picked me up and we went straight to the grocery store. We had to get all the stuff to make my favorite foods for the weekend. I pushed the cart and helped mom pick out the best fruits and veggies. She let me get a treat too - a chocolate bar with almonds! When we got home, I did my homework right away so I didn't have to worry about it for the rest of the weekend. My little sister was taking a nap, so I played outside for a little while. I rode my bike around the block a few times and played catch with our dog Buster. He's not very good at catch, but he loves chasing after the ball. For dinner, mom made tacos - my favorite! We had ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa. I put tons of cheese on mine. Yum! After dinner, we watched a movie together as a family. It was a funny one about a dog who gets lost and has to find his way back home. I cuddled up with Buster on the couch. On Saturday morning, I woke up early because I was so excited. My best friend Tommy was coming over to have a sleepover! While we waited for him to arrive, I played some video games. I was in the middle of rescuing a princess from an evil dragon when the doorbell rang. It was Tommy and his mom!Tommy and I ran upstairs to my room. We dumped out my bin of Lego bricks and started building cool spaceships and castles. His mom brought us a snack of apple slices and granola bars. We munched on those while we built the biggest tower we could. It was super tall until Buster knocked it over by wagging his tail too hard. Oops! For lunch, mom made us grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. She always cuts the sandwiches into triangles for me. After we ate, Tommy and I played outside for a while. We rode our bikes, played basketball, and climbed the big oak tree in our backyard. When we got thirsty, we came inside for fruit Popsicles. They were delicious and super cold and sticky! That evening, dad grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. We got to have chips and watermelon too. I really stuffed myself because it was all so yummy. Once it got dark, we had a fire in the backyard and roasted marshmallows. I got marshmallow all over my face! After smores, Tommy and I put on our pajamas and set up a tent to sleep in on the back patio. We told scary stories with our flashlights and looked at all the stars in the night sky. I spotted the Big Dipper! Finally around midnight, we fell asleep cuddled up in our sleeping bags.On Sunday morning, my dad made us all pancakes for breakfast. They were fluffy and smothered in syrup - perfect! Mom cut up strawberries and bananas to put on top. Once we finished eating, Tommy's mom came to pick him up. We gave him a big hug goodbye and he took home his stuff.Next, my family went to church. I went to Sunday school where we sang songs, did a craft, and learned about being kind. After church, we met up with my grandparents and cousins at my favorite restaurant for lunch. We all shared plates of nachos, quesadillas, and tacos. My cousin Emma and I raced to see who could eat the biggest bite, but we ended up in a tie. When we got back home, I spent the afternoon on the hammock in our backyard reading books. Mom had made a fresh pitcher of lemonade, so I sipped on that while I read. I finished two whole chapter books! I love lazy Sunday afternoons.Later that evening, we had a simple dinner of leftovers from the weekend. I always look forward to Sunday night because it means we get to have movie night. We all put on our pajamas and get cozy on the couch under blankets. This week we watched a movie about a family who gets trapped in a board game. Buster fell asleep right on my lap. Finally, it was time for bed. I was so tired from myjam-packed weekend. I gave my parents big hugs and kisses goodnight. Then I brushed my teeth, put on my favorite rocket ship pajamas and snuggled up under the covers. As I drifted off to sleep, I thought about what an awesome weekend I had. I can't wait for next weekend so I can have more fun!篇6My Super Fun WeekendLast weekend was the best! On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was so excited. I looked out my window and saw that it was a beautiful sunny day. I got dressed super quick and ran downstairs for breakfast. My mom made my favorite - chocolate chip pancakes! After I ate, I went outside to play. My best friend Tommy came over and we played freeze tag in my backyard for like an hour. Tommy is really fast so it was hard to freeze him. I got frozen a bunch of times but it was still fun. Then Tommy's mom called him for lunch so he had to go home. I went inside too because I was getting kinda hungry. My dad grilled hamburgers for lunch and we ate outside on the patio. The hamburgers were delicious! In the afternoon, my family went to the movies. We saw the new Paw Patrol movie. It was so cool! There was a part where all the pup's vehicles combined into one mega vehicle. I want all those cool vehicles so bad. My parents wouldn't let me eat any cookies or candy for breakfast. That's not fair!In the afternoon, we all went to my grandma and grandpa's house for a family cookout. All my aunts, uncles, and cousins were there. The adults all hung out and talked while us kids played outside. My cousin brought over a huge waterslide and set it up on the lawn. We spent hours running and sliding down it. It was so much fun, but I got grass stains all over my clothes. Definitely worth it though! For the cookout, my grandpa grilled so much food. There were hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, steak, ribs, corn, and more. Everything was really yummy. I ate so much my belly stuck out! I probably shouldn't have had three servings. After we ate, all the kids had a huge game of freeze tag in the backyard. Then my uncle set up abaseball tee and we took turns hitting. My little cousin whacked the ball super far! She's only six but she has a really good swing.Eventually it started getting dark so we all went inside. When we got home, I went straight to bed.It was such an awesome weekend! We did so many fun activities and I got to hang out with all my favorite people. I made so many great memories.
