介绍一位你最喜欢的中国名人英语作文
介绍一位你最喜欢的中国名人英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Chinese Famous PersonHi everybody! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade and my favorite subject is Chinese history. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite famous Chinese person - Zheng He!Zheng He was a really awesome explorer who lived a long time ago during the Ming Dynasty from 1371 to 1433. He led these giant voyages across the oceans with huge fleets of ships called "treasure ships" because they were so massive. Can you imagine ships bigger than football fields? That's how big Zheng He's treasure ships were!Zheng He didn't start out as an explorer though. He was actually born into a Muslim family in the Yunnan province in southwest China. His Chinese name was Ma He. When he was just a young kid, he was captured and then castrated to become a court eunuch servant. That means he went to work in thepalace for the emperor. It was really mean they did that to him but back then it was kinda normal. After working hard in the palace for a while, Zheng He eventually became a trusted advisor to the emperor. The emperor decided Zheng He should lead these epic voyages to explore the whole world and spread Chinese culture and power. Between 1405 and 1433, Zheng He led 7 incredible voyages across the seas! His first voyage in 1405 had a fleet of 62 huge ships carrying almost 28,000 crew members! That's like a small city on the ocean. They sailed from China all the way to places like Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and even the east coast of Africa. It's crazy to think Chinese ships went that far over 600 years ago when Europeans hadn't even discovered the Americas yet.On later voyages, Zheng He's fleets got even bigger with as many as 300 ships at one point. They would bring back exotic goods from all over the world like spices, precious stones, and even giraffes as gifts for the emperor. Zheng He's ships were so gigantic, they could carry full -sized trees and rebuild gardens on the deck to impress people in the lands they visited. Not only was Zheng He an incredible explorer, but he was also a pretty tough dude. On one voyage, they got caught in ahuge violent storm in the Indian Ocean. Zheng He took an oar himself and helped row the ship to safety while waves crashed all around them. On another voyage, Zheng He and his crew captured pirates who had been terrorizing the shipping lanes. Theyput the pirates on trial and some were executed as punishment. Yikes!Although Zheng He came from humble beginnings and had some bad things happen to him as a kid, he worked really hard and became one of the most amazing explorers in history. He deserves huge credit for spreading Chinese culture and influence throughout the Indian Ocean and inspiring others with his brave voyages. Over 600 years later, people in China and all around the world are still in awe of Zheng He's daring adventures across the seas.If I could go back in a time machine, I'd love to join one of Zheng He's treasure voyages and see the world through his eyes. Fighting pirates, surviving epic storms, impressing foreign kings and queens with exotic treasures - sign me up! I might get a little seasick but it would be the adventure of a lifetime.Well, that's about all I have to say about Zheng He for now. He's honestly just the coolest and I wish I could have met him. Between his insane voyages, the massive treasure ships, and allhis crazy daring adventures across the oceans, Zheng He will forever be my favorite famous Chinese explorer and historical figure. Thanks for reading my essay, friends!篇2My Favorite Chinese Famous PersonI want to tell you about my favorite famous person from China. His name is Lei Feng and he is the most selfless and caring person I know! Lei Feng was a soldier in the People's Liberation Army in the 1960s.Lei Feng grew up in a very poor family in Hunan province. His parents were farmers and they didn't have a lot of money. When Lei Feng was just 8 years old, both of his parents passed away and he became an orphan. Despite his difficult childhood, Lei Feng never felt sorry for himself. Instead, he focused on studying hard and helping others however he could. As a young man, Lei Feng joined the People's Liberation Army. He was known for his unwavering dedication to the Communist Party's principles and his willingness to do even the most humble chores without complaint. Lei Feng would volunteer for extra work shifts and donate portions of his income to help others in need. He repaired fellow soldiers' socks anduniforms, tutored kids after school, visited elderly neighbors and helped clean their homes - all while never asking for anything in return. One of the most famous stories about Lei Feng is when he saw a frail elderly man struggling to carry two heavy buckets of water. Without hesitation, Lei Feng rushed over and carried the buckets for the man, even though it made him late reporting for duty. When his officer scolded him, Lei Feng humbly replied "As a member of the People's Liberation Army, I should wholeheartedly serve the people."Lei Feng didn't just help people directly though. He also encouraged his comrades to cultivate a spirit of humble service and altruism. He would say "A rev should become tiny screw that never allows itself to rust." By this, he meant Communists should stay modest and committed to serving the people tirelessly. He famously kept a diary where he tracked his daily efforts to be a better person and help others more.Tragically, Lei Feng died at the age of just 22 after being struck by a falling pole while directing traffic for a truck that was stuck in a ditch. Despite his young age and short life, Lei Feng's extraordinary acts of selflessness and devotion left a huge impression on the people of China. After his death, theCommunist Party promoted his life story widely as a model for service-oriented revolutionary morality that all citizens should strive to emulate. To this day, Lei Feng remains a celebrated folklore hero across China. His humble roots, selfless lifestyle and steadfast dedication to helping others no matter how small the task have been memorialized in books, films, statues and museums. In many cities, there are "Learn from Lei Feng" activism groups that carry on his legacy of community service and volunteerism. On his birthday each year, the country honors Lei Feng Day as a day for all citizens to reflect on his exemplary spirit of altruism.I really admire Lei Feng because he never thought of himself as superior to anyone. Even as a member of the powerful People's Liberation Army, he remained grounded and focused on assisting the most vulnerable members of society with basic needs like fetching water or chopping firewood. He lived his entire life according to Mao Zedong's teachings about selflessly serving the people.I think Lei Feng's example challenges all of us to find ways to lend a helping hand, no matter how small the gesture may seem. We shouldn't wait for grand opportunities to do good deeds. Instead, we should emulate Lei Feng by seizing every humblechance we have to make someone else's life a little bit easier or brighter. Whether that means taking out an elderly neighbor's trash, volunteering at a food bank, or sharing our school supplies with classmates in need, all acts of service and compassion make our communities stronger.I hope that by learning about Lei Feng and his incredible life of self-sacrifice, I can incorporate more of his noble spirit into my own character. If we all aimed to help others as readily as Lei Feng did, the world would undoubtedly be a kinder, more generous and unified place. That's why Lei Feng will always be my hero!篇3My Favorite Famous Chinese Person: Yao MingHi! My name is Li Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you about my favorite famous Chinese person - Yao Ming! Yao Ming is a super tall and super cool former professional basketball player from China. He's one of the most famous athletes to ever come from my country.Yao Ming was born in Shanghai in 1980. Even as a kid, he was way taller than everyone else his age. By the time he was a teenager, he was already over 7 feet tall! Can you imagine beingthat tall when you're only 13 or 14 years old? I'm only 4 and a half feet tall right now. Yao is like a giant compared to me!Because of his incredible height, Yao started playing basketball at a very young age. He quickly became one of the best youth players in China. In 1997, when he was just 17 years old, he joined the professional basketball team in Shanghai. He was the youngest player ever on that team! Just a year later, he was the star player helping that team win the championship.Yao's amazing skills caught the attention of the best professional basketball league in the world - the NBA in the United States. In 2002, he was drafted by the Houston Rockets and became the first player from mainland China to ever play in the NBA. It was a huge deal!Playing in the NBA was not easy for Yao at first. The game was much more physical and competitive compared to basketball in China. But Yao worked extremely hard, kept a positive attitude, and never gave up. Year after year, he got better and better. He made the NBA All-Star team 8 times, which is a huge honor! My favorite thing about Yao Ming is how tall and dominant he was on the basketball court. At 7 feet 6 inches, he towered over every other player. It was crazy to see someone thatenormously tall running, jumping, and dunking. Defenders just couldn't stop him from scoring up close to the basket. Yao also had excellent shooting skills for someone his size. He could drain jump shots from all over the court. What a beast!Off the court, Yao seems like a really nice, funny,down-to-earth guy from the interviews I've seen. He is very proud of his Chinese heritage and loves representing his country. Yao also does a lot of great charity work and tries to inspire kids to work hard and follow their dreams, just like he did.Sadly, Yao's basketball career was cut short by injuries. He had to retire from the NBA in 2011 after playing for 9 seasons. But Yao's impact on the game of basketball, especially in China and Asia, can't be overstated. He is a national hero who helped grow the popularity of the sport in my country in a huge way. There are now millions of young Chinese kids playing basketball and many professional players, all because of Yao's trailblazing success.Yao has remained very popular and active since retiring. He owns a professional basketball team and does lots of broadcasting work. He was even an Olympic athlete, carrying the flag for China during the opening ceremonies in 2004 and 2008! How cool is that? Yao was also chosen to be one of the globalambassadors for the 2019 Basketball World Cup, which was hosted in China for the first time ever.In conclusion, Yao Ming is my favorite famous Chinese person because of his incredible basketball talent, his pioneering role in growing the sport's popularity in China, his positive attitude and character, and his ongoing work to promote basketball around the world. At nearly 7 and a half feet tall, he is a real-life giant who loomed large on the court. But more importantly, Yao has an even bigger heart and spirit that make him a true legend. He is a amazing role model for kids like me growing up in China. I hope that someday I can be as successful and impactful as the one-and-only Yao Ming!篇4My Favorite Chinese Hero: Zheng HeI want to tell you about my favorite Chinese hero, Zheng He! He was an amazing explorer who went on some of the greatest voyages in history. Even though he lived a long time ago, I think his story is super cool.Zheng He was born in 1371 in Yunnan Province in southwest China. His real name was Ma He, but he's best known as Zheng He. When he was just a young boy, he went through somethingreally scary and sad. Mean people attacked his town and captured him, along with his dad and thousands of others. They were taken across China as prisoners. During the long walk, Zheng He's dad died. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for him.The prisoners ended up in the capital city, and Zheng He was forced to become a servant in the palace. Even though his life took such a terrible turn, he worked really hard and became a talent person. The future emperor noticed how smart and capable he was, and by the time Zheng He was an adult, he had become a trusted member of the imperial court. In 1403, when the new emperor named Zhu Di took over, one of the first things he did was put Zheng He in charge of an incredible mission - to lead huge fleets of ships across the oceans to explore the world! This was during a time when most people thought the world was flat and the seas were filled with monsters. But the emperor wanted to show off China's power and wealth, so he helped put together these enormous ship crews.Zheng He's first voyage in 1405 was made up of over 60 huge ships and more than 27,000 sailors and other crew members. Just imagining a fleet that big sailing across theoceans gives me goosebumps! Their largest ships were over 400 feet long - that's longer than a football field! And they had things like watertight compartments to keep them from sinking, which seafaring technologies most other countries didn't have yet. The Chinese were so far ahead when it came to shipbuilding and navigation. On Zheng He's first voyage, his massive fleet sailed down the coast of Vietnam, through the Malacca Strait near modern-day Singapore and Malaysia, then all the way across the Indian Ocean to Calcutta. They continued westward, making stops in Sri Lanka, the Arabian peninsula, and down the eastern coast of Africa. During each stop, Zheng He would gather up valuable goods like spices, gemstones, and exotic animals to bring back as tribute treasures for the emperor. His missions were as much about trade and diplomacy as they were about exploration.Zheng He ended up leading six more of these expeditions over the next 28 years, each time commanding hundreds of ships and crews numbering in the tens of thousands. They sailed all the way to the eastern coast of Africa, the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and throughout the Indian Ocean. Places that had never seen ships as large or a naval force as powerful as theZheng He's before. He traded goods, projected Chinese power and influence, and forged alliances with local kings and leaders. If you connect all the dots of the places Zheng He's fleets visited on a map, his voyages would make up one of the longest maritime trails in history up until that point! To me, the coolest parts about Zheng He's adventures are first, how gigantic the ships and crews were compared to what European explorers like Columbus would have just a few decades later. His "treasure ships" carrying the goods, animals, and treasures back home to China were like moving cities on the ocean. And second, I'm amazed that he did it all without ever conquering, colonizing, or really fighting against the different civilizations he encountered. Most explorers from Europe were on missions of domination, but Zheng He's huge armadas were more for diplomacy and trade. He represented China's wealth and power, without resorting to violence and oppression the way later European explorers often did. After over 28 years and 7 total voyages across the oceans, Zheng He finally returned to China for good in 1433 as a celebrated hero. He had amazing stories to tell about the lands and people he encountered, and brought back exotic valuables for the emperor from across the maritime world. But after he passed away in 1435, China largely turned its focus inward formany centuries. It's mind-boggling to think that the Ming Dynasty could have charted course to reach the Americas or Australia had they continued the types of daring sea voyages Zheng He pioneered. He was a true trailblazer.I really look up to Zheng He as an example of a brave explorer who got to see incredible parts of the world that most people could never dream of back then. Even though he endured so much hardship and adversity early in his life, he worked hard, remained dedicated to the emperor, and accomplished amazing things by commanding those unbelievable treasure ship voyages. His story of perseverance, adventure, diplomacy, and discovery across the oceans makes him a legendary hero in my eyes. What I wouldn't give to be a cabin boy on one of those massive ships, sailing into the unknown alongside a Chinese hero and trailblazer like Zheng He!篇5My Favorite Famous Chinese Person: Yao MingHave you ever seen someone who is super tall, like really really tall? That's how I feel when I see Yao Ming! He's a former professional basketball player from China and he's one of the tallest people I've ever seen at 7 feet 6 inches (2.29 meters)! That's like two of my dads stacked on top of each other. Isn't that crazy?Yao Ming is my favorite famous Chinese person because he's an amazing basketball player, but also because he does a lot of cool stuff to help the world. I'll tell you all about why I admire him so much.First, let me tell you about his basketball career. Yao Ming played in the NBA, which is the best professional basketball league in the world. He played for the Houston Rockets from 2002 to 2011. In his first season, he was already one of the best players and got picked for the All-Star game! That's when they pick the best players from each conference to play against each other. Pretty cool, right? Not only was Yao an All-Star player, but he led the Rockets to the playoffs, which are the championship games at the end of the season, four times! The playoffs are super hard to get to. My favorite Yao Ming moment was in the 2009 playoffs when he had a crazy game against the Los Angeles Lakers. He scored 28 points and blocked 7 shots! That means he prevented the other team from scoring 7 times by batting the ball away. He played so well that night.Sadly, Yao had to retire in 2011 because of too many injuries from playing basketball his whole life. Injuries are when you get hurt, like an "ouchie" but way worse for professional athletes. Even though his basketball career was kind of short, he accomplished so much and made China proud on the world's biggest stage of the NBA.But did you know that Yao Ming has done even more amazing things after he stopped playing basketball? This is the part I love most about him.First of all, Yao Ming is a big animal lover, just like me! He has been an ambassador for animal protection groups trying to stop poachers from killing precious animals like elephants, rhinos, and sharks. A poacher is someone who illegally hunts animals, which is really mean. Yao made commercials and gave speeches telling people not to buy ivory or shark fin soup because it leads to killing those animals. Using his popularity from basketball, he could spread positive messages to millions of people about protecting amazing endangered species.Another cool thing Yao has done is start his own wine business! Can you believe it? A basketball player making his own wines. But it makes sense because Yao grew up in a wine-making region of China, so he has always appreciated great wines. Hiscompany creates high-quality red wines, which are my parents' favorite. Maybe when I'm older I'll get to try Yao's wines too! Finally, the thing I admire most about Yao Ming is how much he cares about his home country of China and wants to make it better. After he retired from the NBA, Yao went back to school and got his master's degree. Then in 2017, he was elected as one of the members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. That's a big important group that helps make decisions for the country. Yao Ming has used his fame to give back to China in so many ways.Yao Ming is a true hero, both on and off the basketball court. He showed the world how talented Chinese athletes can be. He protects endangered animals and promotes environmentalism. He runs a successful wine business. And he serves his country as a political leader. At nearly 7 and a half feet tall, he towers over everyone, but his accomplishments and character make him an even bigger giant in my eyes. Yao Ming is someone I absolutely admire and aspire to be like when I grow up.I hope you can see why this famous Chinese basketball star is my favorite famous person from China! He's an inspiration to kids like me. Maybe one day if I work really hard, I can besuccessful and make a positive impact on the world just like the legendary Yao Ming.。
介绍中国历史上的一位名人英语作文
介绍中国历史上的一位名人英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Famous Chinese Person: Zheng HeHave you ever heard of Zheng He? He was a really famous explorer and diplomat from China who lived a long time ago during the Ming Dynasty. I think he's one of the coolest people from Chinese history!Zheng He was born in 1371 in a place called Yunnan province. His birth name was Ma He, but later the emperor gave him the surname Zheng which meant "straight" or "upright." He came from a Muslim family. When Zheng He was just a young kid, he was captured and became a servant in the court of the Prince of Yan. This was actually lucky for him because it allowed him to get an education and learn valuable skills. He studied navigation, astronomy, cartography which is mapmaking, and more.In the year 1404, when Zheng He was 33 years old, the new emperor Yongle became ruler of China. Emperor Yongle took aliking to Zheng He because of his skills and talents. Yongle decided to sponsor amazing voyages of exploration by sea, and he made Zheng He the admiral in charge of leading the voyages!Between 1405 and 1433, Zheng He led seven epic voyages across the Indian Ocean, all the way to the eastern coast of Africa! His voyages were called the "Treasure Voyages." How cool is that?Zheng He's ships were absolutely massive - much bigger than the ships used by Europeans for exploration later on. His biggest ships were over 400 feet long! That's longer than a football field. They were called "Treasure Ships" and had crews of over 1,000 men on board. The main purpose of Zheng He's voyages was to collect tributes and treasures from other lands for the Chinese emperor. But Zheng He also shared Chinese inventions and culture, traded goods, gathered maps and information, and promoted the power and prestige of the Ming Dynasty. It was an incredible diplomatic mission across the seas.On his voyages, Zheng He visited over 30 countries and territories. He traveled through the Indian Ocean all the way to places like Saudi Arabia, East Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, and more. He brought back treasures and tributes from foreign landsfor the emperor, and shared stories, maps, and Chinese goods and culture everywhere he went.Zheng He was known for being a good leader who treated his crew well. Many amazing stories are told about his voyages. Like the time his ship almost sank in a storm, but Zheng He ordered the precious cargo thrown overboard to make the ship lighter and save everyone. Or how he freed captives and slaves in foreign lands whenever he found them. After his seventh and final voyage, Zheng He returned to China in 1433 and lived out the rest of his years there. He died in 1435 at the age of 62 or 63. The Treasure Voyages ended after Zheng He passed away, which was really too bad. I wish they could have continued exploring the world by sea!I think Zheng He was an incredible person for many reasons. His voyages over the oceans were way ahead of their time. Just imagine being a Chinese explorer sailing those huge ships thousands of miles across the Indian Ocean in the 1400s! That's simply amazing to me.Zheng He brought so many places into contact with Chinese civilization through peaceful trade and sharing of culture. He mapped areas of the world that Europeans wouldn't reach for hundreds of years later. His journeys strengthened China's powerand influence across an enormous area. Plus, he had such an inspiring spirit of exploration and discovery.I really admire Zheng He's courage, leadership, and sense of adventure. He was an amazing diplomat who impressed foreign leaders with China's wealth and technology. At the same time, he worked to free slaves and prisoners whenever he could. To me, Zheng He represents the very best values of exploration - going out and discovering the world, while also promoting peace, understanding, and helping others. What a great role model! There are so many other details I could share about Zheng He's life and his incredible maritime voyages. But I think you can see why I look up to this famous explorer, diplomat and admiral so much. Zheng He was one of China's greatest ambassadors who strengthened the country through his daring journeys across the open oceans. I wish I could have sailed with him and experienced those legendary Treasure Voyages first-hand! Maybe one day, I can follow in Zheng He's footsteps and become a famous explorer too.篇2My Favorite Person in Chinese History: Zheng HeHi everyone! My name is Li Ming and I'm 10 years old. For my history class this semester, we had to pick our favorite person from ancient Chinese history and write a big report about them. I picked Zheng He, who was a famous explorer and fleet admiral who lived during the Ming Dynasty over 600 years ago. Let me tell you all about him!Zheng He was born in 1371 in the Yunnan province in southwest China. His birth name was Ma He, but later the emperor gave him the surname Zheng which means "complete." His great voyages happened between 1405 and 1433 when he led seven huge expedition fleets all around the Indian Ocean! Some quick facts about Zheng He - he was a Muslim, he was really tall at over 7 feet, and he had over 60 ships and 27,000 men in his fleets! His ships were called "treasure ships" and were huge, up to 500 feet long. That's over 4 times longer than Christopher Columbus' ships which came later. Zheng He's flagship ship was bright blue and 9 stories high! The first voyage in 1405 went from China down to Indonesia, Singapore, and up to Vietnam and Thailand. The second voyage in 1407 went across the Indian Ocean all the way to India and Sri Lanka. The third in 1409 made it to the east coast of Africa! On these voyages, Zheng He and his enormous crew would trade for things like porcelain, silk, precious stones, and rare plants and animals to bring back to the Chinese emperor. They would also show off China's incredible wealth and power with their gigantic "treasure ships." Sometimes they would make friends with local rulers and leave behind stone landmarks carved with text describing their visits. My favorite story is how on the fourth voyage in 1413, Zheng He's ships were caught in a huge storm near Sri Lanka. One of his ships got separated in the storm and was captured by the local kingdom there. However, the quick-thinking Zheng He took some porcelain, silk, and other treasures off another ship and traded it to get his captured crew members back! He was tough but also smart and peaceful, trying to avoid battles when possible. After the fourth voyage in 1415, Zheng He returned home briefly before going out for voyage number five in 1417. This time his fleet sailed way past the east coast of Africa, likely making it all the way around the southern tip to the west coast as well! They may have even reached places like Mozambique and Kenya. He was getting close to Europe but turned back for home in 1419 after reaching as far west as they could go.In 1424, Zheng He's sixth voyage went back across the Indian Ocean toward the Red Sea and Saudi Arabia. It's believed some of his ships made it all the way up to the entrance of the Mediterranean Sea!Sadly, Zheng He's final seventh voyage in 1431 was cut short when he got sick and had to return home to China in 1433. He died just two years later in 1435 at the age of 62 or 63.So why is Zheng He so significant and my favorite historical Chinese figure? Well, his massive voyages across the Indian Ocean happened decades before the Europeans like Christopher Columbus, Vasco da Gama, and others made their famous journeys. Zheng He's fleets traveled over 30,000 miles and visited over 30 countries! They were like a huge floating city, bringing goods and culture to connect the different lands they visited.Zheng He was an explorer and diplomat but also a superhero-like figure to me. He worked his way up from being a young Muslim servant to becoming the most famous and powerful admiral in Chinese history at that time. He was brave, smart, and strong but also valued peace over bloodshed whenever possible. I imagine his gigantic "treasure ships" must have amazed people all across the Indian Ocean when they first saw them coming over the horizon!I hope you enjoyed learning about the adventures of Admiral Zheng He as much as I did. Even though he lived over 600 years ago, he proved that with courage, resourcefulness, and an open and curious mind, you can accomplish incredible things that change the whole world. Thanks for reading my report!篇3Who Was Confucius?Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you about a really important person from ancient China named Confucius. He was a famous philosopher and teacher who lived a long, long time ago - over 2,500 years back! Can you imagine how different the world must have been way back then?Confucius was born in 551 BC in a place called Lu, which is now part of the Shandong province in eastern China. His birth name was actually Kong Qiu but he became known as Kongzi or "Master Kong" - Confucius is the Latin name he's called in the West.Even as a young boy, Confucius was incredibly smart and loved to learn. He grew up in a noble family but they didn't have a lot of money. Still, his parents valued education and made sure he studied history, poetry, and ritual traditions. By his late teens,Confucius had become an expert on ancient writings and customs. When he grew up, Confucius began sharing his knowledge by teaching students. At first, he traveled around trying to find a ruler who would let him help reform the government based on his moral philosophy. Unfortunately, the kings and nobles didn't want to listen to his ideas about how rulers should behave with great virtue and put the needs of the people first. So instead, Confucius focused on teaching disciples who came to study his philosophies about ethics, family loyalty, justice, courage, and more. He believed that to achieve peace and social harmony, individuals first had to behave morally and cultivate virtues like benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and honesty. One of Confucius' most important teachings was about the "Five Relations" and how people should act within key relationships and social roles. For example, a father should be kind and caring toward his children, while children must obey and honor their father. Elders should be respected by younger people, and rulers should be compassionate while subjects remain loyal.Confucius also believed that cultivating virtue was more important than just memorizing rules or texts. He emphasized constantly working on moral self-improvement and living with integrity. To help guide people's behavior, he compiled and edited some of the ancient classics of literature and philosophy. One of the books he helped preserve is the Analects, which records many of Confucius' wise sayings and teachings. Here are a couple of my favorite Analects quotes that give you a sense of his philosophy:"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."This means we should be patient and keep making an effort to improve ourselves over time, even if progress is slow."When you see a good person, think of becoming likeher/him. When you see someone not so good, reflect on your own weak points."This reminds us to learn from good examples while also looking inward to work on our own flaws.Confucius spent decades traveling across China sharing his teachings despite facing a lot of hardship and rejection. He had many loyal students who helped spread his philosophies evenfurther. While he never achieved a powerful government position, Confucius eventually did gain some recognition and respect during his lifetime. After Confucius died in 479 BC at the ripe old age of 72 (or 73 by some accounts), his philosophy really took off. It was promoted by emperors as the official state ideology and curriculum during imperial China for over 2,000 years! Confucianism still influences Chinese culture today and has also had a big impact in other East Asian countries. While Confucianism covers many complex ideas, I think some of its core principles really make sense - like treating others with respect, being a good listener and learner, working hard, honoring your family, and striving to be a moral, virtuous person. Those are great values for kids and adults!I hope you found this introduction to the amazing teacher and thinker Confucius to be interesting. His life story shows how one person's ideas can change the world, even if it takes a very long time. Thanks for reading my essay - let me know if you have any other questions!篇4My Favorite Famous Person from Chinese HistoryDo you like to learn about people who lived a long time ago?I love reading stories about famous people from history! My favorite famous Chinese person is an emperor named Qin Shi Huang. He was the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty and he lived over 2,000 years ago. Let me tell you all about him!Qin Shi Huang was born in 259 BC. Even as a young prince, he was very smart and determined. When he was just 13 years old, his father died and he became the King of the Qin State. By the time he was 38 years old, he had conquered six other states and unified China into one big empire under his rule. That's how he became the first emperor! As emperor, Qin Shi Huang did a lot of important things. One of the biggest was building the Great Wall of China. It was built to protect China from invasions by nomads in the north. Hundreds of thousands of workers labored for many years to construct the enormous wall out of rammed earth, stone, and brick. Parts of the Great Wall still stand today, over 2,000 years later!Another major accomplishment of Qin Shi Huang's was standardizing writing, currency, weights and measures across his empire. Before he united China, different states used different scripts, different coins, and different measurements. Theemperor made one official script, one money system, and one set of weights and measures that everyone had to use. This made trade and communication much easier throughout his vast realms.Qin Shi Huang was also famous for his search for the "elixir of life" - a magic potion that would let him live forever. He desperately wanted to achieve immortality. The emperor sent hundreds of sailors out on the oceans to look for islands where immortal beings were rumored to live. He also ordered alchemists to experiment with special potions and herbs that might grant everlasting life. Unfortunately, they never found a real elixir of life. One of the most incredible things about Qin Shi Huang is his mausoleum, the gigantic tomb where he was buried after he died in 210 BC. It was an underground palace surrounded by life-sized terracotta warrior statues. Over 8,000 of these detailed soldier figures have been uncovered so far, along with horses and chariots for the emperor's use in the afterlife. The tomb itself is still underground and hasn't been fully excavated yet. Archaeologists used special sensors and found hints that it may contain rivers of mercury representing rivers and the sea! There could also be treasures of jade, bronze, gold, and other precious materials inside. I can't wait until they open it someday to see what other mysteries are hidden within!Qin Shi Huang was not a perfect ruler, though. He was quite harsh and brutal at times. He had over 400 Confucian scholars buried alive because they disagreed with his policies. He also put many people in prison camps to work on his grand construction projects like the Great Wall and his tomb. It's estimated that over 700,000 people may have died working on these huge undertakings during his reign.Despite his cruelty, Qin Shi Huang's accomplishments were truly remarkable for his era. Unifying such a large territory under one emperor was an amazing feat over 2,000 years ago. The standardized writing system, currency, weights and measures he instituted lasted for centuries after his death and helped bring consistency to Chinese society. His pursuit of immortality may sound silly to us now, but it shows how powerful and ambitious he was. And the marvels of the Great Wall and his undisturbed underground tomb with its army of clay soldiers demonstrate the enormous scale of works he could command to leave his permanent mark on history.Qin Shi Huang only ruled as emperor for 15 years before dying of illness in 210 BC at the age of 49. But those 15 years hadsuch a huge impact that he's still considered one of the most important figures in all of ancient Chinese history! I'm so fascinated by his grand visions, his strength in unifying China, his hunger for immortality, and the spectacular legacy he left behind. That's why Qin Shi Huang is my favorite famous historical person from ancient China.篇5My Favorite Person from Chinese History: Zheng HeHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 9 years old. Today I want to tell you about my favorite person from Chinese history - Zheng He! He was a really cool explorer who went on amazing voyages all over the world. I first learned about him in my history class and I thought his story was super interesting.Zheng He was born in 1371 in the Yunnan province of China. His original name was Ma He. When he was just a young boy, he was captured and became a servant in the house of a powerful prince named Zhu Di. Zhu Di eventually became the Emperor of China and renamed Ma He as Zheng He.Even though Zheng He started out as a servant, the Emperor trusted him a lot. Zheng He was known for being really tall - some people say he was over 7 feet tall! He was also incrediblystrong. The Emperor made Zheng He the admiral of his navies and sent him to lead huge voyages across the seas.Between 1405 and 1433, Zheng He led seven major voyages that went all the way from China to the east coast of Africa! Can you imagine that? In those days, most people had never traveled very far from their homes. But Zheng He sailed thousands of miles on giant treasure ships. His ships were huge wooden vessels, some almost 500 feet long! That's way bigger than a football field.Zheng He's fleets included dozens of these enormous ships, along with hundreds of smaller ships that carried food, supplies and trade goods. Thousands of sailors, navigators, translators, artists and even animals like zebras, giraffes and ostriches went along too. His voyages must have been like floating cities on the ocean! On his travels, Zheng He visited places like Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Arabia and East Africa. Everywhere he went, he traded luxurious silks, porcelain and other goods from China. He received precious gems, ivory, sandalwood and exotic animals as gifts in return. Zheng He shared Chinese culture and showed off China's wealth and power to the world. But it wasn't all just business and showing off how awesome China was. Zheng He also helped people in the lands he visited. If there were terrible storms or conflicts happening, his massive fleet would provide aid, food and supplies. He tried to keep peace wherever he traveled. Zheng He made lots of friends and allies for China along the way.One of the coolest parts of Zheng He's voyages is that he helped bring people and cultures together from all over. His ships had crews made up of Chinese sailors along with Russians, Arabs, Indians and people from all across Asia and East Africa. Everyone worked side-by-side, sharing their knowledge of navigation, languages, religions and customs. It was like a totally multicultural team of explorers! After decades of traveling the globe, Zheng He finally returned to China in 1433. The new Emperor wasn't as interested in exploration, so the grand voyages came to an end. But Zheng He's impact was huge. His journeys helped open China to the outside world and showed its strength as a mighty naval power. Even today, over 600 years later, Zheng He is celebrated as one of the greatest explorers in human history.I really admire Zheng He because he was such a brave adventurer who saw amazing sights that most people couldnever imagine. At the same time, he helped introduce different cultures to each other and made friends wherever his ships sailed. He was part explorer, part diplomat and part humanitarian all in one! Zheng He followed his dreams and got to experience so many unbelievable things. I hope I can be as daring andopen-minded as he was someday.Anyway, that's the story of Zheng He and why I think he's the coolest figure from Chinese history. He went on mind-blowing voyages to far away lands, met people from all over, shared China's culture and helped others in need too. Zheng He was strong, wise and kind - everything an awesome explorer should be! Let me know if you have any other questions about him. Thanks for reading my essay!篇6A Brave Warrior and Brilliant General: The Amazing Life of Yue FeiDo you like stories about heroes? People who were incredibly brave, skilled fighters and great leaders? Then you'll love learning about Yue Fei, one of the most famous warriors and generals in Chinese history!Yue Fei was born in the year 1103 in Xiangzhou, which is now the city of Zhumadian in Henan Province. From a very young age, he was taught martial arts and military strategies by his father. Yue Fei was a devoted son who worked hard to make his parents proud. When he grew up, Yue Fei joined the army to defend Song Dynasty China from invaders to the north called the Jurchen people. The Jurchen had already captured the northern part of the Song empire's territory. Yue Fei was determined to take it back for his beloved homeland. At first, Yue Fei's military skills were doubted by some because he was born into a family of humble means. But through his bravery, intelligence and dedication, he quickly proved his worth on the battlefield. Yue Fei led bold attacks and won many important victories against the Jurchen forces. One of his most daring campaigns was attacking and seizing back the city of Zhengzhou when he was outnumbered by the enemy. Using clever tricks and strategies, Yue Fei's smaller army managed to outsmart the Jurchen and retake this vital city. This amazing triumph made Yue Fei a celebrated hero across the Song empire. As his reputation grew, Yue Fei was promoted to higher and higher military ranks. He trained his own elite force of devoted soldier-scholars who studied the art of war. With this skilled army, Yue Fei recaptured over a hundred cities from the Jurchen invaders in the north. The Song emperor was so impressed that he gave Yue Fei the highest military title of Prince of E. Yue Fei's armies were on the brink of fully pushing the Jurchen out of Song territory once and for all.Sadly, jealous officials at the imperial court falsely accused Yue Fei of disloyalty. Can you believe it? After all he had done to defend the country, Yue Fei was thrown into prison by an ungrateful emperor who was tricked by liars. While locked away, the brave warrior still never gave up. He wrote poems and taught his skills to other prisoners, vowing to keep fighting for his people one day. Tragically though, Yue Fei would never see that day as he was secretly executed in jail on false charges in 1142 at the age of just 39 years old. What an unjust fate for such a loyal, heroic man.Yue Fei's untimely death outraged citizens across the Song empire when the truth was revealed. He became an even biggerfolk hero, celebrated for his patriotism, battlefield genius and noble spirit that could never be broken.Songs, poems, plays and stories were created to honor Yue Fei's amazing life and legacy. Statues and temples were built for people to pay tribute to this great warrior who sacrificed everything defending his homeland.Even children were taught to admire Yue Fei through games and folk tales about his remarkable deeds. One popular game had kids act out his most incredible military victories against the Jurchen. What kid didn't dream of being a brave soldier like Yue Fei?Over 800 years later, Yue Fei remains one of the most revered figures in Chinese culture and history. He is the ultimate symbol of loyalty, patriotism, bravery and martial spirit. Every year, people across China visit his memorial temples to pay their respects to this enduring national hero.So remember the amazing story of Yue Fei - the brilliant military strategist, the courageous warrior, the devoted patriot. Despite all the obstacles he faced from enemies and injustice, he never stopped fighting for his people and the homeland he loved so dearly. Now that's a real life hero worth celebrating!。

In fact, he was a man full of imagination.I admire Edison a lot because of his great contribution to the world. He had more than 1,000 inventions. In his lifetime, he was always eager to know how things worked, which helped him to earn the nickname"the Wizard of Melo Park".He was also so diligent that he worked day and night. And this explained why he had so many great inventions. What impresses me most is his famous saying,"Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration."Probably I cannot be an Edison myself, but I can be a hard-working learner. From him, I realize the secret to success is not when or where you were born, but what you are doing and how you do it in your life.【篇二】莫言 Mo Y anMo Yan is my idol. 影响我最深的一位名人海伦凯勒英语作文
影响我最深的一位名人海伦凯勒英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Person Who Influenced Me the Most: Helen KellerLots of famous people have done amazing things that changed the world. But the person who inspired me the most is Helen Keller. Even though she couldn't see or hear, she overcame huge challenges and accomplished incredible things with her life. Her story shows that we can do anything if we try hard enough!Helen Keller was born in 1880 in a small town in Alabama. When she was just 19 months old, she got a terrible fever that left her blind and deaf. Can you imagine not being able to see colors, or trees, or people's faces? And not hearing any sounds like music, birds chirping, or even your parents' voices? That must have been so hard for little Helen. For the first few years, Helen had a really difficult time. She lived in silence and darkness, unable to communicate with anyone around her. She threw tantrums and broke things when she got frustrated. Her parents didn't know how to help her learn. They felt very sad watching their bright daughter struggle so much.Everything changed when Helen met her teacher, Annie Sullivan, in 1887. Miss Sullivan came to the Keller home to be Helen's governess and teach her how to communicate. On their first day together, she spelled out the word "w-a-t-e-r" into Helen's hand while running water over her other hand. Suddenly, Helen realized that the motions Miss Sullivan was making in her palm stood for the wonderful, wet stuff she felt running from the pump! For the first time, she made the connection between words and the things around her. From that day on, Helen's mind opened up to language and learning. She learned how to read, write, speak, and study just by using her hands. Annie introduced her to books and ideas through Braille. With Miss Sullivan's patient guidance, Helen soaked up knowledge like a sponge! Even though she couldn't see or hear a single thing, Helen attended colleges and universities. She graduated from Radcliffe College in 1904, an amazing accomplishment back then. But Helen didn't stop there. She went on to become a world-famous author, activist, and speaker. She wrote inspiring books like The Story of My Life about overcoming her disabilities. She traveled all over the United States and to over 35 countries giving speeches about making the world better for people with disabilities. She even got to meet every U.S. president from Grover Cleveland to Lyndon B. Johnson!Helen worked hard to improve rights for the deaf, blind, and others with special needs. She helped start schools and organizations to support people with disabilities. She fought for them to have equal opportunities in education, jobs, and life. Thanks to heroes like Helen, society became more accessible, inclusive, and fair.Throughout her 87 amazing years, Helen Keller achieved the impossible over and over again. She once said, "One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar." To me, those words perfectly capture Helen's unstoppable spirit and determination. Even though she couldn't rely on sight or sound, her mind had no limits. She saw the world more vividly than most people. She achieved her wildest dreams by never giving up on her ability to learn, grow, and make a difference.Helen Keller is my hero because she didn't let any obstacles stand in her way. If someone as deaf and blind as her could graduate from college, write books, travel the globe, and lead a movement for equality, then I can overcome any challenges inmy own life. When I feel defeated or limited, I remember Helen pushing forward with courage and perseverance. Her life story motivates me to work harder, think bigger, and live without limits.I want to be like Helen Keller - someone who opens minds and changes the world for the better through willpower and compassion. I hope I can have even a fraction of the positive impact she did. Whenever I face difficulties, I'll ask myself: What would Helen do? Then I'll roll up my sleeves, dig in, and show the same grit as the bravest, most inspirational person who ever lived. Thank you, Helen, for lighting the way to a brighter future. The world is a better place because of you.篇2The Most Inspiring Person to Me: Helen KellerHave you ever heard of Helen Keller? She was an amazing woman who overcame huge challenges in her life. Helen Keller is the person who has inspired me the most. Even though she couldn't see or hear, she never gave up and accomplished so many incredible things. Her story makes me realize that I shouldn't complain about little problems, but work hard to make the most of my abilities.Helen Keller was born in 1880 in a small town in Alabama. When she was just a baby, she became very sick with a high fever. The illness left her deaf and blind. Just imagine not being able to see colors, shapes, or faces. And not hearing any sounds - music, voices, or even birds singing. That's the world of darkness and silence Helen lived in from a very young age.Life must have been so frustrating and lonely for her as a little girl. She would often have tantrums and fits because she couldn't communicate or understand what was happening around her. Her parents didn't know how to help their bright, energetic daughter. They loved her very much but felt hopeless. Then when Helen was 7 years old, a wonderful teacher named Anne Sullivan came into her life. Miss Sullivan used hand signs and finger spelling into Helen's palm to spell out words. After much patience and hard work, Helen finally realized that the hand motions represented objects and ideas. She was overjoyed to at last be able to communicate! From that point on, with Miss Sullivan's guidance, Helen learned to read, write, and speak. She soaked up knowledge like a sponge. Even though she couldn't see print, she read books by using raised letters that she felt with her fingers. I think that must have taken an incredible memory and sense of touch.Helen not only learned academic subjects, but all the practical skills of daily life too. She learned to tell time by feeling watches, threading needles for sewing, and identifying different foods by their smells. With her strong spirit and positive attitude, Helen didn't let her disabilities stop her. What I admire most about Helen Keller is her determination to keep learning and growing. She once said, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Helen definitely lived a daring life of adventure! After graduating from college, Helen traveled the world and became a famous speaker. Can you imagine giving speeches when you can't hear the applause? Yet that didn't stop Helen from sharing her ideas and philosophies. She met many famous leaders and rulers during her travels.Helen also wrote books about her life which inspired millions of people. I just finished reading her autobiography called The Story of My Life. In it, she talks about how her big dream was to help others. Helen worked hard to improve education and opportunities for people with disabilities. One story I'll always remember is when Helen graduated from college. A young man who could see and hear had to help her across the stage. But Helen didn't want pity from anyone. She gently dropped his hand and walked those final steps alone. What an incredible symbol of her courage and independence!Even though Helen Keller died in 1968 at age 87, her legacy and "can-do" spirit live on. I have a poster of her on my bedroom wall to remind me that I shouldn't make excuses or give up easily. If Helen could achieve so much while blind and deaf, then I can work harder to develop my abilities too.I try to follow Helen's example of being curious, working hard in school, and appreciating the world around me through my senses of sight, sound, taste, touch and smell. Sometimes I imagine what it would be like to live in her dark, silent world. That makes me incredibly grateful for the gifts I have.Whenever I'm struggling with a tough homework assignment or skill, I think "If Helen could learn algebra and learn how to speak, then I can persevere too!" Her life proves that we shouldn't put limits on ourselves based on disabilities or difficulties. We may have to be creative, work harder than others, and find alternative ways of doing things, but anything is possible with patience and determination. That's why Helen Keller is a true hero and great role model for me. Her inspirational story makes me want to live life to the fullest, keep learning always, and use my talents to help others.Just like Helen overcame darkness and silence, I can overcome challenges with courage and hope. Her amazing attitude and achievements will always fill me with motivation to make my days count.Helen Keller is the most inspiring person to me because she didn't listen to people who said she couldn't do things. She once said, "The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision." Helen saw the bright possibilities in life and made the most of her abilities rather than focusing on her disabilities. That's a lesson I'll never forget.篇3The Most Influential Person to Me: Helen KellerHave you ever heard of Helen Keller? She was a really amazing woman who lived a long time ago. Even though she couldn't see or hear, she never gave up and accomplished so many incredible things in her life. Helen Keller is the most influential person to me because of her bravery, determination, and compassion.Helen was born in 1880 in a small town in Alabama. When she was just a baby, she got really sick with a high fever. The sickness made her blind and deaf. Can you imagine not beingable to see all the colors and shapes around you? Or hear any sounds at all - no music, no voices, nothing? That must have been so hard for little Helen and her family. But Helen didn't let her disabilities stop her. With the help of her amazing teacher, Anne Sullivan, Helen learned how to communicate by reading lips and using hand signs. Anne came to live with the Kellers when Helen was 7 years old. At first, Helen was a wild, uncontrolled child who had lots of tantrums because she couldn't understand the world around her. But Anne was very patient and firm. The famous "water pump" story shows just how determined both of them were. One day, Anne took Helen out to the water pump and pumped some water over her hand while spelling "w-a-t-e-r" into her other hand. Suddenly, Helen realized that the hand motions stood for the cold liquid falling on her palm! For the first time, she made the connection between words and objects. Anne continued teaching her hundreds of words in this way, spelling them letter by letter into Helen's hand. It was such an exciting breakthrough! After that, Helen learned quickly. She learned how to read Braille, a system of raised dots that blind people use to read words. She learned how to speak by placing her fingers onpeople's lips and throats as they made sounds. She even went to college, which was almost unheard of for someone who was blind and deaf back then. Helen was the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor's degree. But Helen's life wasn't just about overcoming her disabilities - she also wanted to help others. She traveled all over the world, giving speeches about the importance of treating people with disabilities with respect. She met with world leaders and celebrities to raise awareness. Helen even helped start schools for deaf and blind students so they could get an education too. Some of my favorite stories about Helen show her great sense of humor and playfulness. Once when she met the famous inventor Alexander Graham Bell, she joked that he had been really rude for inventing the telephone since she would never be able to use it! Another time, when the famous author Mark Twain introduced Helen to his baby daughter, she pretended to be a baby too by whimpering and fussing. Helen didn't take herself too seriously and found joy in the little things. What I admire most about Helen Keller is how brave she was. It would have been so easy for her to feel sorry for herself because of all her challenges. But instead of being bitter or giving up, she had an amazing attitude. Helen said, "I thankedGod for my incessant good health, and, as I grew older, for the hardships which I escaped, thanks to my disabilities themselves."She didn't see her blindness and deafness as weaknesses, but as things that made her stronger! Helen believed her disabilities protected her from some of the meanness and troubles of the world. They motivated her to work harder and appreciate the beauty around her through senses like touch and smell. To Helen, being disabled wasn't limiting - it was freeing in a way.Helen's determination inspires me so much. She proved that you can do absolutely anything you set your mind to, no matter what obstacles you face. Just like she worked tirelessly to learn how to communicate, I try my hardest at everything, whether it's a tricky math problem or mastering a new skill. I know that if I'm persistent like Helen and never give up, I can overcome any challenges ahead of me.But what touches me most about Helen Keller is her compassion for others. Even though she had a lot of difficulties herself, she spent her life speaking up for people with disabilities. She fought against discrimination and unfair treatment. Helen once said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do somuch." She believed that when we all work together and support each other, that's when real change happens.Helen's courage, optimism, and caring spirit teach me to be a better person. Whenever I'm feeling down or like giving up, I think of Helen pushing through so much harder things with a smile. Her life story motivates me to be braver, work harder, and think of others too. I want to have her same unshakable spirit of perseverance and her vision of making the world kinder and more accepting of all people.Helen Keller went through life's darkest tunnels but never lost hope. She is the most inspiring person to me because of how she took on disabilities that would have crushed most people, and still led an extraordinary life of achievement and compassion. As she famously said, "The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision." Thanks to Helen's vision and beautiful philosophy, the lives of disabled people have improved so much. Her lasting impact on the world will help open minds and hearts for generations to come.。

初三英语作文介绍一位名人的成功故事
初三英语作文介绍一位名人的成功故事全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Biggest Hero: Bill GatesHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about my biggest hero, Bill Gates. He is super rich and super smart and he started the biggest computer company in the whole world! I think his story is really cool and inspiring.Bill Gates was born in 1955 in Seattle. His mom and dad were both very successful. His dad was a lawyer and his mom served on lots of important boards and committees. From a young age, Bill was really good at math and science. He loved solving tough problems! When Bill was 13 years old, something amazing happened that changed his life forever. A amazing company called Computer Center Corporation opened a computer terminal right at Bill's school! This was before personal computers even existed. Bill was totally fascinated by this crazy new technology. He spent allllll his free time learning everything he could about coding and programming.Bill was such a computer nerd that he even started getting in trouble at school for hacking into the school's computer system to get unlimited computer time! His future business partner Paul Allen also went to that school, and they became best buds bonding over their love of computers and coding. After finishing high school, Bill went to Harvard University. But he only stayed for two years, because in 1975 he dropped out to start his own little computer software company with Paul Allen. Can you believe that? Dropping out of an amazing university like Harvard just to start a tiny business? But Bill had a huge dream. The company Bill and Paul started was called Microsoft. At first, Microsoft just made programming languages and software for the very first personal computers that were just starting to be sold. But Bill Gates had a vision that personal computers would soon become a thing in every home and office! He wanted Microsoft to make the operating system and all the most important software that all those future computers would run on.In 1980, Bill Gates made a hugely important deal with a company called IBM that made Microsoft take off like a rocket ship. IBM basically let Microsoft make the operating system for all of IBM's personal computers. This operating system wascalled MS-DOS and it soon became the most popular operating system in the whole world as IBM's computers became super popular too. After MS-DOS was a big hit, Microsoft came out with an even better operating system called Windows in 1985. Windows had cool graphics and let you have multiple programs open at once on your screen. It quickly became a massive success and made Microsoft the biggest and most powerful software company on the planet! With Microsoft being so enormously successful, Bill Gates became a multibillionaire by the time he was just 31 years old. He was the youngest self-made billionaire ever at that time! He kept making Microsoft more and more dominant with programs like Microsoft Office with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. Basically every computer everywhere ran on Microsoft's software.Even though Bill Gates was richer than almost anyone on Earth, he didn't stop working hard to make Microsoft better and better. He spent countless hours in the office leading his team of thousands of employees. Bill was a total perfectionist and wanted Microsoft's products to be absolutely the best. When Bill Gates turned 43 in 2008, he stepped down from the day-to-day operations at Microsoft to spend more time on his philanthropy work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that he started with his wife Melinda. The foundation is all about helping poor people across the world get access to opportunities, education, healthcare, and more. So far, Bill and Melinda have given away over 50 billion to charitable causes!Even though Bill Gates isn't actively running Microsoft anymore, he is still one of the most admired figures in the business world. He worked extremely hard, was insanely smart, and most of all had a crazy big dream that he never stopped chasing. That's why he was able to take a tiny little startup and turn it into one of the biggest, most powerful companies ever.Bill Gates showed that with hard work, passion, intelligence, and perseverance, you can overcome any obstacles and achieve your wildest visions. To me, that makes Bill Gates not just an incredible businessman, but a true inspiration for kids like me. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be the next Bill Gates and start my own world-changing tech company! For now, I'm just trying my best to learn as much as I can about computers and coding, just like Bill did when he was young. With heroes like Bill Gates to look up to, anything is possible!篇2The Super Cool Story of Steve JobsHi everyone! Today I'm going to tell you all about Steve Jobs. He was an amazing guy who started a company called Apple. Apple makes really neat computers, phones, and other amazing tech gadgets that I'm sure you all use and love!Steve was born in 1955 in California. Even as a little kid, he was really curious and loved to take things apart to see how they worked. That's why he grew up to be such a genius inventor and designer. In the 1970s, Steve went to college for a little while but then dropped out. A lot of people told him he was making a big mistake, but Steve didn't care. He was determined to follow his own path.Steve had this crazy idea to build a super simple, cheap computer that anyone could use at home. No one thought it would work, but Steve didn't give up. He worked super duper hard with his friend Steve Wozniak to build the first Apple computer. They made just a few at first and sold them out of Steve's garage!Well, that little garage project turned into one of the biggest tech companies ever! Apple went on to make tons of amazing products that people went bananas over - the iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad and more. All of Steve's creations were so beautiful, simple and user-friendly. That's why he became known as a true visionary.Being a creative genius wasn't easy though. A lot of people doubted Steve and told him his ideas would never work. They made fun of him for being a college dropout. But Steve never let the haters get him down. He always stayed positive and believed in himself no matter what.Even when bad things happened, Steve never quit. In 1985, Steve actually got fired from Apple, the company he started! Instead of being sad though, Steve started a new computer company called NeXT. It didn't do that well, but Steve kept on trying his best. Finally in 1997, Apple realized they had made a terrible mistake by firing Steve. They begged him to come back and be in charge again. Steve said yes, and soon Apple was making awesome products people loved again, like the iMac and all the i-things.Steve's big dream was to make really high quality tech that looked super cool and was easy for anyone to use. A lot of people think he totally achieved that dream with products like the iPhone, iPad and MacBooks. With Steve in charge again, Apple grew into one of the most valuable companies ever!Sadly, Steve got very sick in his later years and passed away in 2011 at the age of 56. But he left behind an incredible legacy of game-changing inventions and designs. Steve showed the whole world that if you work super hard, believe in yourself, and never give up on your vision - you can accomplish anything!I hope Steve's amazing success story inspires you guys to dream big, work hard, and never let anyone discourage you from pursuing your passions. If a poor kid who dropped out of college could build one of the biggest tech empires ever, just imagine what you can all achieve! Stay hungry, stay humble, think different - and you'll go far, just like super Steve!篇3My Favorite Super Cool Person: Marie CurieHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about someone who is totally awesome - Marie Curie! She was a famous scientist whodid really important work. Get ready to have your mind blown by how cool she was!Marie was born in 1867 in Warsaw, which is now the capital of Poland. Her full nam e was Maria Salomea Skłodowska, but I'll just call her Marie because that's easier. Her family didn't have much money, but they really valued education. Even though schools in Poland didn't allow girls to get as much learning as boys back then, Marie's parents still made sure she and her sisters studied hard at home.Marie was such a brainiac! She was obsessed with science and math from a very young age. When she was just 10 years old, she performed her first little chemistry experiment all by herself. Cool, right? As a teenager, she had to take secret underground classes that were illegal because the Russian empire didn't want Polish people getting educated. But Marie didn't care - she was determined to learn as much as she could no matter what!In 1891, when Marie was 24 years old, she went to France to attend university. This was a huge deal because back then, not many women went to college, especially in science. But Marie was like, "Whatever, I'm going for it!" She studied so hard at the University of Paris and got super good grades. In 1895 she married another scientist named Pierre Curie. Not only were theypartners in marriage, but they became scientific partners too, working together on experiments. Here's where things get really cool. You know what radioactivity is, right? It's when certain elements and minerals release energy and particles. Well, Marie and Pierre Curie made some amazing discoveries about radioactivity that changed science forever! They realized that the glow from uranium wasn't caused by regular phosphorescence, but by something totally new - radioactivity from the uranium atoms themselves breaking apart. The Curies were obsessed with investigating radioactivity further. They went through tons of nasty pitchblende, which is a gross uranium rock, trying to isolate the radioactive elements inside it. After years of hard work in their lab, in 1898 they discovered two new chemical elements - radium and polonium! This was an epic breakthrough. No one had ever discovered a new element in a lab before. The Curies had to smash tons and tons of pitchblende to find just a tiny bit of radium, but they did it through sheer determination. Thanks to the Curies' work, we gained a deeper understanding of radiation and atomic structure. We learned that atoms aren't just motionless lumps, but have all this activitygoing on inside them constantly. Crazy, right? It totally changed how we understand matter at the smallest level.Unfortunately, this amazing discovery came at a huge personal cost for Marie. In 1906, her husband Pierre was killed in a tragic road accident. This was devastating for Marie, but she didn't give up on her science work. In fact, she worked even harder and became the first woman to teach at the University of Paris. In 1911, Marie's immense contributions to physics were recognized with a Nobel Prize - and get this, she was the first woman in history to win a Nobel! She received the award "in recognition of her services to the advancement of chemistry by the discovery of the elements radium and polonium." Years later in 1935, she was awarded a second Nobel Prize for her pioneering work in radioactivity, but tragically she passed away from health issues likely caused by her radiation exposure before she could receive it.It's impossible to overstate how important and influential Marie Curie's discoveries were. Her work literally kicked off the atomic age and led to our modern model of the atom's structure. It paved the way for tons of applications of radioactivity in fields like medicine for treating cancer. And perhaps most importantly,Marie shattered barriers and paved the way for women to make advances in the sciences.Even though Marie had to face so many obstacles as a woman in science, she never gave up or let anyone stop her. She was brilliant, dedicated, and tough as nails. To me, Marie Curie is the definition of a real-life superhero using her amazing intellect and determination to change the world. What an inspiring badass! I hope that one day I can be as hard working, unstoppable, and down for science as Marie Curie was. Everyone should know her awesome story!篇4My Favorite Famous Person: J.K. RowlingDo you like Harry Potter? I LOVE Harry Potter! The books about the boy wizard who goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are my total favorites. I've read all the Harry Potter books like a million times. I even tried to use a stick as a pretend wand and say some made-up spell words, but no magic happened. Bummer! The person who wrote the amazing Harry Potter books is named J.K. Rowling. She is a writer from England and she is socool and inspiring. I really look up to her because of her incredible imagination and her amazing success story.J.K. Rowling had a very difficult life before she became a famous bestselling author. When she was a little kid, her family didn't have much money. Her parents got divorced when she was young, which must have been really hard. As a teenager, she had to deal with her mom getting very sick. After she grew up and went to university, she had an even tougher time. She moved to Portugal to teach English, but her marriage failed. She was a single mom with almost no money, living off welfare benefits. That means the government had to help pay for her rent and food. It was an incredibly difficult situation. But J.K. Rowling never gave up on her dream of becoming a writer. She started writing the first Harry Potter book in cafes whenever she could, bringing her baby daughter along. She wrote and rewrote the book over and over until she felt it was perfect. It took her a very long time to finally get the first Harry Potter book published. So many publishers rejected her book at first! They didn't think it would be popular enough. But J.K.Rowling never stopped believing in her story about the young wizard. Finally, a publisher decided to take a chance on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 1997. And boy, are they glad they did! The Harry Potter series turned into a massive, world-wide phenomenon. Kids and adults of all ages fell in love with the magical books. All seven of the Harry Potter novels ended up becoming gigantic bestsellers. They sold over 500 million copies around the world! The books were turned into eight blockbuster movies too, which made billions of dollars. J.K. Rowling went from being poverty-stricken to becoming a multi-millionaire.Her story shows that you should never give up on your dreams, no matter how impossible they might seem. J.K. Rowling worked extremely hard and overcame so many obstacles and setbacks in her life. It just goes to show that with talent, determination, and an unwavering belief in yourself, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.I really admire how J.K. Rowling used her difficult life experiences as inspiration to create the heartwarming stories about Harry Potter. After her own struggles with poverty, loss of family, and trying to raise a child as a single parent, she was ableto imagine the trials and tribulations that Harry faced with such authenticity. Her books taught important lessons about love, friendship, bravery, and the magic that lies within all of us. They encouraged kids like me to read for fun and awakened our imaginations. J.K. Rowling's novels allowed us to get lost in a whole other whimsical, wondrous world of wizards and witches. In the end, that's why I so admire J.K. Rowling as a famous person. She never stopped pursuing her passion for writing and storytelling, despite all the roadblocks and hardships she faced. Her determination, perseverance, and unwavering self-belief allowed her to achieve unimaginable levels of success and acclaim. Thanks to her brilliance and grit, J.K. Rowling took an ordinary world and added her own extraordinary magic to it through the Harry Potter series. Her books sparked an unparalleled sense of joy, imagination, and inspiration for millions upon millions of readers like myself across the globe. For that, J.K. Rowling will forever remain my favorite famous person and role model!篇5My Hero: J.K. Rowling's Amazing Life StoryHi everyone! Today I want to tell you all about my biggest hero, J.K. Rowling. She's the super cool author who wrote the Harry Potter books! I think her life story is the most inspirational ever.J.K. Rowling was born in England in 1965. Her full name is Joanne Rowling, but she used the initials J.K. because her publishers were worried that boys wouldn't want to read books written by a woman back then. How silly is that? When she was little, Joanne loved to read and make up fantasy stories. Even as a kid she was a gifted writer. But her family didn't have a lot of money, and her teenage years were pretty rough. Her mom got really sick, and she struggled with poverty. After finishing school, Joanne had some ups and downs trying to become a writer. She worked as a secretary and taught English in Portugal for a while. In 1990, while riding on a train, she came up with the idea for a book about a young wizard named Harry Potter. Genius! For several years, Joanne outlined the epic Harry Potter series while raising her baby daughter Jessica as a single mom.Money was super tight, and she was living on welfare benefits at one point. But she never gave up on her dream. Finally in 1997, her first book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was published. It became an instant mega hit! Readers of all ages fell in love with the magical world she created at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.Over the next ten years, J.K. Rowling wrote and published six more books about Harry and his brave adventures battling the evil Lord Voldemort. The books smashed all records, selling over 500 million copies worldwide in 80 languages! They were turned into eight blockbuster movies too. From being broke and on welfare, J.K. Rowling is now one of the richest and most famous writers ever. She's worth over a billion dollars! But she hasn't let her mind-blowing success go to her head.J.K. Rowling is humble and extremely generous. She has donated millions to charity, fighting poverty and helping kids get an education. She's an inspiring role model for dreamers everywhere. Her Harry Potter books taught us that love, friendship and courage can overcome anything. They inspired an entiregeneration to get passionate about reading. J.K. Rowling showed that magical things can happen when you combine imagination, determination and hard work.I love how she never gave up on her ambitions, no matter how tough things got. From a talented kid growing up poor, to a struggling single mom, to one of the most iconic writers of all time, her journey fills me with hope and excitement. While money is great, J.K. Rowling's most prized achievement is the positive impact she's had on millions of kids' lives through literature. She made reading fun and creative again! Thanks to her captivating wizarding world, so many of us became avid bookworms at a young age.Smart, kind and wildly imaginative, J.K. Rowling used her wits and grit to weave an unforgettable magical spell with words. Her rebellious spirit and perseverance in the face of adversity taught us to hold on to our dreams, no matter what. The Boy Who Lived will live on forever, but J.K. Rowling's status as a real-life hero and role model for breaking barriers is truly immortal. From the bottom of my heart, I thank her for the priceless gifts of Harry Potter and proving that anything is possible if you believe. She's simply the best, brilliant, brightest witch of her age!。
