1、申请表：细心填写
通常情况每所英国大学官网都会提供申请表供申请的同学直接下载，申请表需要填写的主要内容包括申请人的个人信息、申请专业和学科等信息。
同学们在填写的时候一定要细心，不要填错任何的信息。
2、推荐信：一般要两封
一些英国大学只需提交一份推荐信，如埃克塞特大学等，但一般都要求提交两封。
推荐信中至少有一封由自己学校的老师撰写，以推荐学术能力为主;也可让班主任写一封，以推荐人品性格为主。
如有工作经验，由工作单位提供推荐信更佳——因为英国人很注重工作经历。
另外，大家一定要在推荐信里提供推荐人正确的工作单位的联系电话、邮箱、职务和地址。
3、个人陈述PS：突出个人特色
个人陈述的内容一般包括：个人学习、工作经历、特长爱好和优缺点等等，陈述中可以突出学术成绩、获奖、担任班干部等经历、活动组织能力、团队合作精神等等。
一般，英国大学招生官都会通过个人陈述了解申请人的入学动机和学习能力。
4、学历证明：谨慎对待
毕业证/学位证/在读证明Graduation / Study Certificate等。
如果大家已经毕业，需要提供毕业证和学位证;如果还在读，则需要提供在读证明，并且要加盖学校的章。
另外，如果大家是邮寄材料，最好是封入信封由学校在封口盖章。
5、成绩单Tran：盖章、翻译后提交
成绩单一般由学校教务处开具，并需要学校教务处盖章。
中文成绩单需要经过翻译后方可提交，最好是交由指定的、正规的翻译机构翻译。
6、英语能力证明：如雅思成绩
英国绝大多数高校都需要申请人提供雅思成绩以证明其语言能力，有些学校明确表示也可提供托福成绩等其他英语能力证明。
一般情况下，申请人可先不提供雅思成绩，便可获得学校有条件offer，雅思成绩可
日后再补，换取无条件offer。

1、英国出行交通工具
地铁：
对于留学生来说坐地铁是比较节省时间的一种交通方式。
英国有三个城市有地铁，伦敦，Newcastle，格拉斯哥。
伦敦的地铁线路是最多和最完善的，其它两个城市就相对简
单点。
伦敦的地铁共有11条线路，只要您进入地铁站，随处可以看见地铁线路图，您可
以很方便的免费索取。
此外，在地铁站里还有很多服务咨询台，您只要把您想去的地方告
诉他们，他们会很热心的告诉您坐哪条线路的地铁和在哪里转车。
火车：
英国的铁路范围非常广，几乎每个小镇都会有车站，对于留学生来讲，如果从一个城
市到另外一个城市，90%都是坐火车。
在英国留学的朋友告诉大家需要注意以下几点：首先，英国的火车票分为单程和往返，所以在买票的时候要根据自己的情况说清楚，因为单
程和往返的价钱差异很少。
其次，初到英国，一定要花18磅去学校的旅游办公室或者火
车站办一张YOUNG PERSON CARD，这样，不管您去哪里，都会为您减少40%的火车票费用。
最后，记得经常去火车站索取火车时刻表，因为英国火车冬夏季的时刻是不一样的，这样
便于及时的查询。
公共汽车：
英国的长途汽车公司主要有Megabus， Stagecoach， National Express等等。
其中，Megabus的价格是最便宜的。
National Experess的车辆是最好的，Stagecoach处于中等
的一个位置。
长途汽车的一个最重要的优点就是价格便宜，如果提前订票的话，比如从英
国的格拉斯哥到伦敦路程，有时候能够订到两英镑的车票。
平时的票价，一般也以十几英
镑为主。
坐长途汽车有一个好处是能够看到不同的英国城市和小镇的景色，这一点是坐火
车所不能领略的。
如果是第一次去英国，坐公共汽车一定是件很让人头疼的事情，如果是
这样，您可以去公共汽车站多看看里面的指示牌，多向司机师傅询问。
自行车：
像剑桥这样的城市骑自行车上学是比较普遍的，最好是从其他要离开剑桥的同学手里

后车灯是规定可以到当地买到专门的自行车灯，价格是30多磅一对。

因为英国除了剑桥和牛津两个城市，一般都没有专门的自行车道，而

但是，一定要在骑车时注意安全。
计程车：
在英国计程车的费用是相当高的，一般来讲，英国人还是喜欢通过电话的叫车，您只
要给他们打电话告之您的位置和用车时间，就会有车在那个时间等候在您的指定地点。
另外，大的城市街道都会有计程车车站，您在那里会找到很多英国传统的计程车。
飞机：
最大的区别是，英国的登机牌上没有标注登机口，登机口是起飞前半小时随机显示的。
当你到达机场之后需要做的事情肯定是先去办理Check in，在英国办理Check in不
是任何时候都可以办理的，到达机场之后首先要看机场大厅里的指示牌Information platform，在这个信息指示牌上会有各个航班可以Check in的时间，一般都是在起飞之
前一个半小时才能显示Check in的柜台信息，如果到达机场太早的话只能耐心等待了。
在Check in 之后会拿到Boarding Card，一般我会习惯性的看看登机口在哪里，可是Boarding Card不像我们国内会标注具体的登机口，boarding card上只有登机的时间。
