Recently, whether students should be divided to science students and art ones is under heated discussion among the public.

Some are in favor of the division. They claim that students will have more time to concentrate on their favorite subjects, which leads to high efficiency in study. They tend to believe that few people are talented in both science and art, so it is better that they make a choice between the two. In addition, the division can considerably reduce students’ pressure from study.

On the contrary, others object to the former opinion. They suppose only when students learn both science and art can they be educated into comprehensive students, laying a solid foundation for the future study after entering college. Besides, it is too early for students to decide which field to major in during high school.

From my perspective, I reckon that it may have more advantages than disadvantages to learn both science and art subjects. Although it will cost us more time and energy, it’s beneficial in the long run, for society is in bad need of general talents rather than specialized ones. Even if one can major in one particular field, he or she can wait till entering college.

Nowadays more and more college students are taking part?ime jobs as they have more time at their disposal. Some are eager to gain experience and improve their practical skills. Others want to earn some money and relieve the financial burden on their families.

But every coin has two sides. On the one hand, part?ime jobs do much good for us. We

can develop our skills and improve our material life as well. On the other hand, we may not be able to put our heart into study in the “gold rush”. Worse still, those who fail to resist the temptation from society will take a wrong road, and even end up in prison.

In conclusion, the outcome of study under a work?tudy program depends on how we handle it. We should allot plenty of time to our study, keeping in mind that study should have priority over anything else for us college students, and money is not our purpose but a means to provide us with comfort.

In recent years, the phenomenon of ingoring Chinese learning is existing in students.

Entering university, many students believe that english is more important for the current employment, this situation led directly to the current language proficiency of students on the decline.In addition,Chinese language courese are being 'marginalized' or in embassrassing situation in campus.

Though English is a good tool for us, it can not replace the role of our mother tougue.Chinese learning is not only a simple extension, it also help student continue the essence of our traditional culture.

Nowadays, more and more parents prefer handling everything for their chindren, “the apples in their eyes”. They have their reason for this so-calledparticular lovingness. Because of the adaptation of birth control policy, they have only one baby to treasure, they have to take care of their flower, so no damage would be done to them. In their opnion, no flower could grow well without the watering of their parents. Yet the oppsosite is true.

Firstly, a true humen being is one with intelligence, that is the ability to learn, to understand and to think. The abilty of thinking could be honed by frequently offering them questions about his study, his friends and his daily life, so they can think individually.
