as 用法总结

连词：

1.正如……引导非限制性定语从句，放句首

As is said/known/ reported/believed/told, ……..

As is often the case,…..这是常有的事

As the saying goes, no pains, no gains.

as expected/supposed than expected/supposed as usual than usual

such…..that …..cf: such…..as……

such/so…..that….引导结果状语从句如此…..以致于

such/so…..as …...引导定语从句，as为六代之一，充当成分

e.g. It is such a heavy box that we can’t lift it.

It is such a heavy box as we can’t lift.

Such a heavy box is it that we can’t lift it.

the same + n. that 同一物（定语从句）

the same + n. as 相似物（定语从句）

I am wearing the same cap as you did yesterday.

今天我戴了一顶和你昨天戴的一样的帽子。

e.g. I don’t like playing basketball, but my brother likes. 错误

like 是vt，后面必须加宾语，but my brother likes playing basketball.

改为：but my brother does. 助动词相当于一个动词词组

2. 正如，依照，按照……

I will do as you advised. 我会照您的建议去做。

She stayed in bed as the doctor had ordered.

她依照医生的吩咐卧床休息。

Leave it as it is. 把它维持原样。cf：what“那个样”

Alice isn’t what she was.

Alice is 3 times what she was 6 years ago.

3. 尽管（as 须倒装，though 可倒装，although 不可倒装）

方法：将表语提前，名词前去冠词

Boy as/though he is，he knows a lot.

尽管while in spite of = despite

e.g. While he is of much wealth, he is not happy.( of much wealth富有的)

while 用法

1.并列连词，而，然而cf：but 然而，但是，表转折

e.g.I was reading in the sitting room, while my brother was playing a

game in his bedroom.

2.当…….的时候while + 进行时cf when + 点动作

cf as 一边……一边，同时

e.g. While they were talking about me, I pushed in. （考：while + V-ing）

When I pushed in, they were talking about me.

3. while 尽管（考：选择while）

4. 随着……, 一边…..一边，同时，持续性动词

As time goes on/by, ……随着时间的推移，（goes 是谓语，需要as 连词）With time going on/by,…随着时间的推移，（going是非谓语，需要with介词）选择题：

①题目中出现goes 或going，考as或with

②题目中出现as 或with，考goes或going，常考with + 宾语+ going

He sang songs as he was taking a bath. 他一面洗澡，一面唱歌。

He was watching TV in the sitting room while I was playing games in my bedroom.

5. as正因为（强有力，唯一的理由）

e.g. He won the first prize in the competition, as he worked so hard for it. because 普通的因果关系

now that= since 既然

e.g. Now that everybody is here, let’s begin our meeting.

for 表示猜测.

e.g. It rained last night, for the ground is wet now.

介词：

1. 作为work as/ serve as/ act as 充当，充任

act as a leading role/part in the film扮演主角

play a leading part/role in doing sth 在做某事过程中起主导作用

cf: work for 为……效力，工作

be used to doing= be accustomed to doing sth 习惯于

be used to do/as/for 被用来做，被用作为，被用于

used to do =would do 过去常常做（used to 实义动词或助动词）

e.g. There used to be a wasteland here, didn’t there?或usedn’t there?

cf: used to doing 是be used to doing 的非谓语形式“习惯于……的”

used to do 是be used to do 的非谓语形式“被用来做……的”选择题：方法：判断是否非谓语，主动还是被动，要做正在做还是做完了

2. treat / look on / think of/ count/ regard/……sb as 把…..当作
