在we don’t need中,这个need是个普通动词,是个实义 动词,表示“需要”。所以things we don’t need就表示 “我们不需要的东西”。
You needn't wait for me. =You don't have to wait for me.
你不必等我。(还没有等) You needn't have waited for me. =You didn't have to wait for me. 你不必等我的阿。(已经等过了。)

• 1、 ‘Do you call that a hat?’ I said to my wife. call 最常用的是“打电话”的意思。
同时,call还可表示 “把…叫做、称为”,常 用于口语和非正式文体中。
