Love Actually是一出典型的爱情喜剧，两个人相遇、互相熟悉、吵架、和好，最后在故事结尾高兴地在一起，皆大欢喜。

但是这部电影的特点在于，没有只把镜头放在一对情侣身上，而是讲述了好几对情侣的悲欢离合。

他们各自有自己的故事，但是唯一的共同点是他们都是和我们一样的普通人。

Colin Firth(抱歉一看他的脸就想不起来角色的名字了)是一名情感屡屡失败的作家，遭遇妻子出轨以后在法国的小屋独自写作，却遇到不会说英语的葡萄牙人Aurelia照顾他的起居。

因为语言不通，Aurelia也不特别健谈，Colin大叔常常自说自话，尽管对方听不懂。
