本课是牛津英语教材7A Unit 7 Signs around us的第一课时,本篇课文的文本内容较为简单,主要教会学生我们生活中的各种标志的意思以及他们是属于什么类型的标志。
在6A教材中,学生已经学过Rules round us, 所以对于这一课型的内容也较为熟悉,本课的重点是将标志分为四类:direction signs(方向标志)、information signs(信息标志)、warning signs(警示标志)和instruction signs(指令标志)。
通过学习,旨在帮助学生区分不同种类的标志,熟练掌握句型“What does the sign mean? What kind of sign is it?”
课堂活动中我通过图文配对、句型训练、听力训练、小组对话、绘制标志等互动形式增强学生在课堂中的能动性。
绝大多数学生对英语学习有相当的兴趣,他们在掌握书本知识外,也对课外内容有所涉及,很多孩子都能够积极参与课堂活动,女生相对而言比较安静。
她们的口语表达能力有待更大的提高。
整堂课总体完成相应的教学任务,学生参与面较广,课堂效果不错。

1.To understand the meaning and pronunciation of four different kinds of signs and use them to classify the signs.
2.To use model verbs “ can / must / mustn’t” to express the meaning of signs.
3.With the help of the classmates and the teacher, to learn to use the sentence pattern “We can/must.../We mustn’t… .It’s a/ an information / warning / direction / instru ction sign” to describe each sign round us. At the same time, to understand the importance of signs and learn to obey the rules according to the signs.
