according to the data from Chinese ministry of commerce, In the 14 years from 1979 to 1992, China has been in deficit, Since 1993 into a surplus and up to now. in 2004,Chi nese coun ted that amount of America n deficit was $80.3 billi on dollars. however, accord ing to the data from america,

1979-1982, the Uni ted States was at the position of trade surplus, and In 1983, bega n to appear deficit.and in 2004, the amoung of trade deficit was 162 billi on dollars.it is clear that There are sig nifica nt differe nces betwee n the two coun tries statistics On the bilateral trade balance situations.

It is clear that there are significant differences between the two countries statistics on the bilateral trade balance situations. We also can see that amount of trade gap was in creas ing year by year. Therefore, we will discuss the reasons why there was such a huge gap betwee n Chin ese and America n import and export.
