英语校本教材《英语作文辅导》教学计划黄麓中心学校英语组一、教学目的众所周知,随着经济的全球化和社会生活的信息化,英语已成为人们最重要的语言交际工具,英语写作对学生也显得越来越重要。

为了加强对学生的写作训练,提高学生的语言运用能力,同时,也为了全面体现课程教材改革培养“听、说、读、写”综合运用的精神,给学生在使用新教材进行学习活动时,提供更多更好的学习资源,力求贴近学生实际,强调教师、学生在教学活动中的可操作性的前提下,借鉴他人教学经验成果,编写了这套校本教材(本教材供七年级学生使用)。

二、教学原则校本教材《英语作文辅导》的编写,以关注学生的全面发展、提高学生的综合素质为宗旨,着眼于创新精神和实践能力的培养,注重了知识与技能,过程与方法,情感、态度与价值观三维目标的交差渗透,有利于学生从“学英语”到“写英语”的转变。

校本教材的练习力求体现新课程教材的新思想、新特点,将认知能力的培养、情感的发展有机地结合起来,特别注重培养学生的思维能力、写作能力和终身学习的能力。

校本教材力求内容精炼、选材准确、设计新颖、形式活泼、富有情趣,对话内容贴近社会生活,切合学生实际,在体现英语学科特点的基础上设置开放性、参与性、活动性的内容,注意发挥学生学习的自主性,既有统一的基本要求,又有较大的灵活性。

三、教学内容(一)书名:《英语作文辅导》(二)内容介绍众所周知,作文历来是教学中的难点,面对命题作文感到腹中空空,搜肠刮肚也想不起贴切、生动的材料。

我们认为作文绝不是单纯技巧性的问题,它牵涉到得是生活的积累和思想水平的高低,只有平时下功夫多读、多思、多练,才能扎扎实实地循序渐进。

“多读”,就是要多读简短精炼得好文章、同龄人的佳作;“多思”,指的是在阅读时要细心揣摩别人作文是怎样审题、立意、取材的,是怎样构思表达的,取人之长、补己之短;“多练”则指自己多学多写,反复琢磨、不断提高。

希望大家在这本书中得到收益,愿你在边读、边思、边练中日有所获,写出一篇篇文质兼美的文章来。

写作技能是英语教学和语言训练的重要内容,也是语言学习评价的重要项目。

《普通高中英语课程标准(实验稿)》要求学生能运用英语正确、达意和得体地表述事实、观点、情感、想象力,交流信息,形成规范的写作习惯。

然而,目前英语教学中存在以下问题:学生的英语写作兴趣不浓,对提高写作能力的信心不足;“以教师为中心”的写作教学模式比较陈旧,不利于学生写作思维和写作能力的提高;而且,教师在写作教学中对学生写作方法的指导不够全面和有效;对于学生习作的评价比较片面。

这些因素对目前我校的英语写作教学有很大的影响。

因此,我们编写了校本课程《高中英语写作指导》。

三、课程目标1、培养学生英语写作的兴趣,掌握相应写作技能,形成良好的写作习惯;2、提高学生准确应用单词、短语和句型进行写作的能力,提升学生综合应用语言能力;培养学生自主学习、合作学习、探究学习能力;3、培养学生在英语学习中的自信心,敢于用书面英语进行交流与表达;4、拓展学生知识视野,培养学生良好的学习习惯;塑造完善的人格,促进学生个性张扬,丰富学生的兴趣爱好。

首先根据学生的兴趣爱好选择一些简单、生动活泼的视听材料,如:录像,DVD等作为教材。

首先在课堂上介绍影像资料中会出现的生词并帮助学生借助图片等理解单词;用简单英语解释生词。

然后向学生展示教材内容指导学生理解故事或是诗歌,确定朗读基调、把握主题线索、掌握轻重快慢,反复实践。

教师示范朗读某一类作品,进一步体会和理解朗诵技巧。

最后由学生通过移动多媒体图片或表演的方式模仿故事中某些关键句的节奏和语调,以各种单人或集体的方法复述故事或诗歌。

英语阅读的方法
阅读一般分为精读(intensive reading)、泛读(extensive reading)、略读(skimming)和查阅(scanning)。

阅读方法不同,对阅读者的要求也不同。

精读。

要求学生毫无遗漏地仔细阅读全部语言材料并获得对整篇文章深刻而全面的理解,对语篇中的词汇、语法、句式、注释都应仔细领会。

泛读。

也可称为普通阅读,要求学生读懂全文,对全文的主旨大意,主要思想和次要信息及作者的观点有明确的了解。

对全文只做一般性的推理、归纳,无需研究细节问题和语法问题。

但要求阅读速度高于精读速度的一倍。

略读。

是一种浏览性阅读,指学生以他能力达到的最快速度浏览阅读材料。

略读是一种跳跃式地读,读文章的主旨段,主旨句以获取文章的主要中心思想和主要内容。

一般来说,略读的速度应快于泛读速度的一倍。

查阅。

指一种有目的地查找个别资料的浏览性阅读。

在语篇中查找某一问题的专题信息。

如:在一般的考试中,对数据、年代或某一具体信息的查找。

可先浏览所提问题、明确所需信息,利用此方法阅读速度最为快捷。

英语写作策略
-写作问题
培养学生的英语口、笔头交际能力是整个初中阶段英语教学的目的之一。

其中“写”又是较高层次的信息系统,它要求学生具有较高的书面语言表达能力。

然而,目前初中英语教学的书面表达相对滞后,学生的写作水平提高甚微,形成了“听到写作学生心烦,见到习作教师不愿”的现象,究其原因是多方面的。

学生方面:(1)汉语影响、生词造句;(2)词汇贫乏、搭配不当;(3)句型误用、语法不通;(4)信息不全、条理紊乱。

教师方面在教学中缺乏科学和系统的写作教学方法,表现为:(1)散—缺乏条理性、分散;(2)乱—各层次写作杂乱相间、影响写作能力的提高。

纵观近几年的中考书面表达,作文题目越来越活,给出的信息越来越少,学生要根据少量的已知信息写出80多字的一篇完整习作,是很困难的。

因此,如何提高学生的书面表达能力就成了初中教师在写作教学中亟待解决的问题。

为了提高写作教学效果,笔者依照循序渐进的教学原则,尝试了“词、句、篇”三步曲的写作教学:
1.巧记单词
按照语言学习规律,英语写作教学的次序应是:词—句—篇。

“词”是基础,“句”是过度或桥梁,“篇”是目的。

整个训练遵循“词不离句,句不离篇”的原则,由易到难,由简到繁,循序渐进,不断提高。

这三个阶段彼此衔接,教会学生在大量的语言实践中学会运用词句,从而达到在书面表达教学中“教、学、用”三者的统一。

书面表达需要一定的词汇量,学生书面表达时容易忘记单词或把汉英词汇等同起来。

因此,要求学生坚持每天听写、默写、循环记忆单词,掌握巩固词汇。

还要求学生给出与单词有关的同义、近义、反义和词形相似的词,使词汇量得到最大限度的复现。

2.用词造句、连词成句
写作应从词句练起,记忆所学的词和词组的最好方法是在使用中记忆。

通过口、笔头造句练习,模仿课本例句或做替换练习是巩固记忆的好方法。

例如:若以“Talking about School Subjects”为话题进行书面表达,教师可将词组套入以下句型,并让学生掌握:“I am good at…/ I enjoy…/ I prefer…to…/ I am interested…/ I am goin g to…this term.”教师应重视教材中的单句练习,引导学生从对单个句型的掌握,逐渐过渡到多种句型的混用,直到学生能连贯自如地表达思想。

一句多译,句型转换,是书面表达能力的关键,如:
我最喜欢英语。

—I like English best. My favourite subject is English.
—I like English better than any other subjects.
教师应注意英汉结构比较,减少汉语式表达错误,教师可通过错误句型之辨析、归纳和总结,帮助学生提高遣词造句的能力。

3.连句成意、线面融合
此项训练的主要目的是培养学生把语法项目、教材内容和文章体裁有机结合起来的能力,笔者在教学实践中初步形成了英语写作教学的基本模式:
第一步,仿写
为了便于优生书面写作潜能的发挥,教师可以要求他们只模仿课本、练习册中的题型,而不局限于模仿课本或练习册中的词汇,以下是一篇模仿“My hometown”一文而作的小
短文,见(一课一练、初三下62页),谈谈你的家乡(字数100左右)。

这是一篇中等成绩水平的学生习作,在文章中用了许多己学过的词或词组。

My Hometown
Nanchang is my hometown. It is the capital of Jiangxi province, and it is a middle-sized city. The population of Nanchang has reached 4 millon. But it is a less developed city. There are few factories in it. So the air in Nanchang is nice and clean. The people here have enough clean water to drink and use, too. Nanchang is a famous city for its history. For example, BaYi rising up arms in NanChang, Teng Wang Tower, Shengjing Tower, ar e all places of interest in Nanchang. More and more tourists travel to Nanc hang.
Old as it is, Nanchang is taking on a new look now. There is surprisin g change every day. It is becoming better and better. The Nanchang peopl e are making the city become a garden city. I love my hometown. I belive its future will be even brighter.
第二步,引导学生写
引导学生书面表达有许多形式,教师要从学生“学”的角度来设计教学活动,使学生的学习活动具有明确目标,并构成一个有梯度的连续活动。

笔者首先采用给出文中的关键词或短语,引导学生列出写作提纲,这样学生在书面表达时可减少审题环节,不让学生感觉无从下笔,而且学生很容易理清写作思路,如“An instruction of the lab”,教师给出该篇的首句“Students read the instructions before they do the experiment.”再引导学生列出关键词或词组“keep… c lean experiment (实验)/ follow… order…/ instr ument (器具)/ put… back…/ turn off / make nois e / touch”等。

这样,在教师的引导、帮助下,学生写起来顿感思路清晰,稍加发挥,一篇完整的instruction 就很容易写成了。

这样由浅入深的训练方式,开始能让学生产生成就感,渐渐地学生对书面表达产生了兴趣,克服了恐惧心理,从写作中获得了成功的快乐,树立了写作的信心。

第三步,自由发挥
教师要改进教学方法,设计开放性的写作活动,既提高了学生读和写的能力,又提高了其识别、判断和改错的能力,更能发挥学生的内在潜能和丰富的想象力,还增加了学生的成功感。

二、体会与思考
初中的写作教学应贯彻整个初中阶段,内容要切合学生实际,让学生有话可写。

材料应由易到难,训练形式要多种多样,听说结合,把听到的说出来,把说的写出来。

要求教师
能自己组织教学材料,这就需要教师在课前必须花大量时间和精力,设计好每一堂写作课。

在教学实践中,教师要不断研究,并总结出适合具体学生和具体教学目标的方法。

总之,教师应根据新课标的要求,适应现代现实生活的实际需要,对学生进行写作教学引导,在教学过程中应从实际情况出发,对学生进行低起点、小步子、容量适中、快速反馈训练,充分体现学生的主体地位,帮助学生获得成功,并增加其自信心和意志力,培养学生的优良学习品质。
