牛津高中英语教学设计单元:Unit 3 The meaning of colour板块:Reading 1Thoughts on the design:本课件为reading的第一课时,着重于对文章的整体性阅读。

本课的教学从reading strategy入手,帮助学生找到本文的主题,引导学生对课文内容进行预测和讨论,激活学生大脑中的相关知识网络,使他们处于认知的主动状态,从而产生阅读的愿望和心理准备。

接着从我国的国旗所承载的含义入手,一步步了解法国、美国和印度尼西亚三国国旗代表的意义。

在教学中首先提出的问题涉及课文的主要事实,其次才是细节性的问题,从而帮助学生构建“自上而下(top-down)的信息加工机制。

在帮助学生获取较详细的有关信息后,对信息进行进一步的加工、提升,以培养学生阅读后的语言输出能力。

最后,让学生利用所学的知识,为自己的学校设计出一面校旗。
