成語Idioms
strapped for cash极需要钱；极缺钱
strapped当形容词是「用皮带装饰的；用皮绳绑住的；身无分文的」的意思。

原来strapped可以表示in need of money「需要前」，后来才加上介词for，現在strapped for已经用来表示「需要...」，不一定是指需要钱。

I'd love to go for dinner with you guys, but I'm a bit strapped for cash.
我很想和你们一起吃晚餐，可是我有点缺钱。
