一、什么是一般现在时？
一般现在时是描述经常发生或习惯性的动作或状态及客观事实和普遍真理的时
态。

二、一般现在时的功能
1. 表示经常性、习惯性的动作或状态
如：(1) I wash the dishes every day. 我每天洗碗。

（2) I sometimes take a bus home. 我有时乘公共汽车回家。

（3) They usually have lunch at 11: 30. 他们通常在11. 30吃午饭。

（4) He always gets up early. 他总是早早起床。

（5) She is often late for school. 她经常上学迟到。

2. 表示客观事实
如：(1) You are 13. 你十三岁。

（2) He is a student. 他是一名学生。

（3) They study at Olympic Garden Middle School. 他们在奥林匹克花园中学上学。

3. 表示永恒不变的真理
如：The moon goes round the earth. 月亮绕着地球转。

三、一般现在时的标志词
usually (通常）

hardly （几乎不）

四、动词第三人称单数的变化规则。

1.一般情况下，直接加-s。

2.以o, s, x, sh, ch结尾，加-es
3.以“辅音字母+y”结尾，变y为i，再加-es
4.以“元音字母+y”结尾，直接加-s
