美国位于北美洲南部，东濒大西洋，西临太平洋，北靠加拿大，南接墨西哥及墨西哥湾.美国的气候大部分地区属温带和亚热带气候，仅佛罗里达半岛南端属热带。

《人类：我们的故事》是一部讲述人类文明的历史纪录片，该片最吸引我的就是它呈现给大家的历史观不再是孤立的，而是打破了时间和地域的界限，将影响人类文明进程的种种大事件有机地结合起来。

它以宏观的视角，把那些常常被人忽视的事件的因果关系清晰地呈现出来，厘清了重要历史事件之间的来龙去脉。

其次，该片的叙事风格也非常讨巧，它在讲述一段历史故事时会不断地埋下伏笔、制造悬念，再结合精致的特效场面以及调动气氛的配乐，使它活脱脱变成了一部记录风格的美剧，极大地增加了史实的趣味性。

该剧，呃不，该片除了介绍历史，还不忘向观众普及一些交叉学科，天文、地理、医学、植物学、物理学……凡是历史事件中涉及到的知识，它都会以一种通俗易懂的方式向观众做出解释，实在配得上一个大写的“良心”二字。

当然，它也不是毫无缺点。

该片讲述的中国历史和我们了解的中国历史常常会出现偏差，更令人匪夷所思的是，它常常会引用一些不知从哪里得来的史料来佐证片中的那些观点，这不免让人怀疑这些观点有些经不起推敲。

并且，如果中国历史如此，其他地区的历史也许也会存在或多或少的偏差。

其次，该片有美化那些资本主义殖民者的嫌疑，纪录片中，土著人往往被描绘成疯狂、暴力、毫不友善的野蛮人，侵略者则是一副被逼无奈、为了美好生活挺身而出的高大形象。

不过也可以理解，谁叫这片子是美国人拍的呢，体现出的肯定是美国人倡导的价值观，我们作为外国观众，只要明辨是非、细加甄别就好。
