英语读音规则表（元音字母的读音）

1、元音字母Aa：

在f、ss、th前面，读[a:] 如：glass，fast，last，ask，father，staff，在[w]音之后，读作[ɔ] 如：want，wash，what，quality

2、元音字母Oo ：

在l、m、n、th和v前面，读[ʌ]；词尾是st，ld时读 [əu] ；如：most，post，cold，hold

3、元音字母Uu ：在j，l，r之后读[u：]，如：true，rule，june，blue

4、元音字母Aa、Ee、Ii、Oo、Uu以及元音字母组合ar、er、ir、or和ur在非重读音节中，读[ə]，元音字母Ii在非重读音节中，读[i]。
