常见的作文批阅系统无一例外地将词汇产出能力作为评分的要素之一，例如，对中高级水平作文的词汇常有如下评价：文中词汇表达较丰富恰当，学术词汇使用较丰富；文中词汇使用灵活，高级词汇使用较丰富；能够使用一些复杂的词汇等。
网络智能批改系统是否提供了更好的自主写作平台，在词汇运用方面有哪些辅助作用，以及词汇丰富性与语言产出质量之间有何关系是本文想探索和研究的问题。
一、研究背景（一）研究现状国外学者率先对词汇丰富性与语言产出质量之间的关系作了研究。
林纳德（Linnarud，1986）对瑞典英语学习者和同龄本族语者写作中的词汇使用进行了研究，结果显示，瑞典英语学习者词汇多样性和独特性都低于本族语者，且高频词汇的使用存在很大差异。
恩伯尔（Engber，1995：139-155）对印第安大学学生所写的66篇限时作文的词汇丰富性进行了研究，结果发现，词汇多样性与作文质量的相关系数：包括词汇错误数量相关性r＝0.45，不包括词汇错误数量相关性r＝0.57。
国内学者对词汇丰富性与作文质量关系也作了一些实证和描述性研究。
鲍贵（2008：38-44）用Wordsmith，range和在线削尾器手段比较了不同水平英语学习者定时作文语料中的词汇丰富性发展模式，得出词汇复杂性能够区分不同组之间词汇使用差异，发展模式始终呈线性式。
万丽芳（2010：40-46）对英语专业学生的研究表明，随着英语水平的提高，其作文中词汇的丰富性和多样性都有显著提高。
王海华和周详（2012：40-43）从词汇多样性、词汇复杂性、词汇密度和词汇错误四个维度对非英语专业学生词汇丰富性在写作中的发展变化特点及其与写作质量的关系进行了动态跟踪研究，结果表明，时隔三个学期，学习者的二稿作文相比一稿作文的词汇密度显著提高了（t＝3.428，P＝0.001），复杂度在大学词表和低频词汇量的使用明显提高了，多样性也提高了，但不显著。

2.学位论文季锋高中生英语产出性词汇水平的研究2007
本文旨在调查高中生英语写作中的产出性词汇知识水平，理论基础为L,aUfer&Nation(1995)提出的词汇丰富度和词频概貌。
普通中学两个班级的100名高中一年级学生自愿参加本项研究。
测试工具为相隔一年的两次限时英语命题作文，英语作文由两名教龄15年以上有丰富阅卷经验的教师根据高考英语评分标准评定后取平均值。
数据用SPSS1O.0软件，RANGE软件分析得到相应结果。
研究结果发现：
1．高中生在相同时间内表达的产出性词汇量有很大差别。
最常用的1000词汇使用频率最高，而第二1000词汇及学术词汇使用频率较低。
通过一年的学习，无论是词标、词类还是第一个1000词汇都有显著性增长(p<0.01)，但是词汇的丰富度上没有明显变化，说明学习者虽然通过各种学习活动扩充自己的词汇，但是词汇的丰富度的发展却十分缓慢。
2．在限定的时间内，女生在产出词汇方面比男生更流畅。
经过一年的学习后，女生在产出词汇量的扩展方面比男生快，但在学术词汇的使用上男生高于女生，具有统计学上的显著差异(p<0.05)。
在第一个最常用的1000高频词的使用上男生低于女生，具有统计学上的显著差异(p<O.01)。
3．词标、词类与写作质量的相关性达到显著水平(P<O.05)，皮尔逊指数为0.779和0.781，词汇的复杂性和二语写作的质量出人意外地呈现负相关(-O.221)，相关性达到显著水平(P<0.05)。
学生能够产出复杂词汇并不等于能够在语境中恰当地使用，也不等于能够同时输出正确的搭配。
所以当他们越多使用复杂词汇时也就意味着他们会面临出错频率越高的风险。
4．词标和词类与学生英语综合水平达到显著的相关性。
词汇丰富度的其它四项指标与语言综合水平无显著相关性。
根据本文研究结果，我们必须注意到英语产出性词汇水平对学习者的产出能力有较强的影响，做好从领会词汇向产出性词汇的过渡，并在教学中注意男女生产出性词汇发展的差异性。
由于时间和研究工具的限制，本文中对产出性词汇水平的研究有失全面，且调查对象仅集中高中一年级学生，缺乏一定的代表性。
因此研究结果有待进一步证实。
同时，将来的相关研究也可以从以上两点入手展开。

在英语写作教学初级阶段,融入目标性词汇教学,促进学生的被动词汇和新学词汇向产出性词汇转化的写作教学方法,有助于改变中国学生产出性词汇量小、写作表达内容贫乏、语言干瘪等现象.教师将目标性词汇教学贯穿于阅读练习、课后模写、汉译英练习及定时作文四个教学环节中,能增加月标性词汇的使用频率,从而提高学生英语作文的质量.
4.学位论文吴瑾中国研究生学术词汇知识的研究2007
近年来，如何改善我国研究生英语教学，帮助学生提高学术英语交流能力，在外语教学界正日益受到关注。
国外有关英语学术词汇方面的研究并不鲜见，不少研究表明，学术词汇广泛存在于学术交流过程并承担相应的语篇组织功能。
国内针对英语学术词汇的系统研究则相对较少，尤其是从第二语言词汇习得角度开展的相关研究则更为少见。
本论文结合第二语言词汇习得研究成果，系统研究了中国研究生英语学术词汇知识的状况及特点，并以学术词汇和一般词汇的关系为切入点，探讨了词汇知识内部各维度之间的关系。
参照以往对词汇知识的研究，论文首先确定了相应的学术词汇知识框架，包括四个基本维度，即：接受性词汇量、产出性词汇量、接受性深度知识和产出性深度知识。
在深度方面，重点研究了词汇意义和搭配两个侧面。
论文采用实验数据和语料库数据来展开上述各知识维度的研究。
数据收集分两阶段进行：第一阶段收集实验数据。
上海市两所高校三百六十名研究生参加了一系列词汇知识测试。
包括：词汇等级测试、产出性词汇等级测试、词汇深度测试。
第二阶段建立语料库。
按照构建语料库的一般原则，作者收集了一百一十二篇研究生撰写的学术论文，建立了“研究生学术英语语料库”。
该语料库含181487个字符，涵盖物理、生物、经济、心理等七个不同专业方向。
语料库数据主要用于研究产出性学术词汇知识的深度。
研究的主要发现可归纳为以下六点：
1、中国研究生能够掌握大多数学术词汇的基本含义，但由于他们对中低频词(如5000和10000词频等级上的词汇)的认知率较低，在阅读英文文献时仍有可能面临词汇上的困难。
2、研究生的产出性学术词汇量要远低于其接受性学术词汇量。
尽管学生对学术词汇的平均认知率较高(约92％)，但却只能产出38％左右的学术词汇。
其产出性词汇主要分布在高频词，如3000词频等级上。
3、就产出性词汇量和接受性词汇量之间的差距而言，研究生在学术词汇上的差距要大于其在高频词上的差距。
并且，这种差距并不是固定不变的
，而是随着学生英语水平的提高而逐渐降低。
4、对研究生接受性学术词汇知识深度的研究显示，学生对这部分词汇意义和搭配的掌握虽然不是一无所知，但也远没有达到全面掌握的程度。
就整体而言，他们对学术词汇意义的掌握程度要超过对词汇搭配的掌握程度。
5、研究涉及的各变量之间，包括接受性学术词汇量、产出性学术词汇量、接受性学术词汇知识深度、接受性一般词汇量和产出性一般词汇量，存在显著正相关，相关值介于0.394和0.640之间。
接受性学术词汇量、接受性学术词汇知识深度和产出性学术词汇量之间的相关关系证实了Melka(1997)和Henriksen(1999)等研究者提出的假设。
该假设认为词汇知识的深度在词汇从接受到产出的过程中发挥重要作用。
但是，本研究也发现接受性学术词汇量与接受性一般词汇量的相关系数以及产出性学术词汇量与产出性一般词汇量的相关系数均大于它们与学术词汇知识深度之间的相关系数。
这一结果表明除了词汇知识深度之外，其他因素，如词汇知识类型等，在词汇的接受-产出的过程中也存在着不容忽视的作用。
6、对研究生学术英语语料库的研究同样表明学生的产出性学术词汇知识深度存在较明显的局限性。
就词汇意义而言，学生在学术英语写作中较常使用带有专业性质的意义，但对于那些意义相对较抽象或承担一定语篇组织功能的意义则使用较少。
对词汇搭配来说，在学习者语料库中出现的搭配词的数目和种类要远远少于本族语者语料库。
研究生较少使用表示作者态度或起连接语篇作用的搭配词，并往往倾向使用不地道的学术词汇搭配。
本研究对于第二语言词汇习得理论研究和我国研究生英语教学实践均具有一定的参考意义。
对词汇知识各维度之间关系的研究虽然支持了该领域的相关假设，但也表明它们之间的关系要远比目前文献描述的复杂。
由于目前第二语言词汇习得研究仍处于早期发展阶段，尚未形成普遍接受的词汇习得模式，不少研究的结果可能只适用于某一特定条件，对此，相关研究人员应有所留意。
词汇知识是一个多维度的结构。
对于在学术英语交流中使用频率较高，覆盖面较广，而学生实际上并没有完全掌握的学术词汇，在研究生英语教学中，有必要采用多种方式加强词汇深度的学习，鼓励学生全方位掌握其意义并能灵活、自如地加以应用。
另外，本研究建立的“研究生学术英语语料库”可供感兴趣的研究人员进一步从句法、篇章等角度开展相关后续研究。
