The Architecture
The Internet of things can be divided into three layers: perception layer, network layer and application layer.
Perception layer: Monitoring the change of environment & collecting data;
In the near future, the Internet of things will be largescale popularization, as a high-tech market, form the public management and service, enterprise, individual and family application three major market segments.
Network layer: Network interconnection & information transmission;
Application layer:Data processing & application.
The technologies related to it
RFID :(Radio frequency id, people put some information on the Internet and then we can see it .
The foundation of “the Internet of things" is still the Internet.
Challenge & Opportunity
• Lack of recognized communication technology standard;
• Technical challenges: artificial intelligence,image recognition...
“The Internet of things” is called the third wave of world information industry after the computer and the Internet.
GPS: Global Position System;
Sensing technology; The Internet...
Internet of Vehicles
The Applications
There are lots of applications in our life,such as intelligent transportation, public safety, environment protection, individual health and so on.
2. If you go to work in the morning, your intelligent bag will remind you of what you have forgotten.
3. If you are ill, the doctor can know your condition no matter where you are.

The meaning of it’s name
It means things and things or people and things are connected with each other by the technology. They can communicate with each other in a new way.
But the Internet
of things is more advanced and useful than the Internet.
What is the Internet of things?
Put all items connected to the Internet by the laser scanner information sensing devices ,such as radio frequency identification (RFID), infrared sensors, global positioning system (GPS) and so on, do some information exchange and communications, to realize intelligent identification, location, tracking and monitoring and management.
Some examples
1. If the driver does something wrong, the car will have automatic alarm.
If the driver is tired, the car can “drive” by itself without a driver.
4. If you will go home after work, you can turn on the air-conditioner or other home appliances in advance.
The technology will be made use of in many aspects of our life.
