1. Living in a Big City

Hundreds of people flood into cities, especially big cities. They come for better jobs and better education, for better medical care, for commerce and trade, and for the latest information in sciences and technology.

I enjoy living a big city where life is convenient. Fast public transportation, a wide variety of commodities to choose from, all the latest modern conveniences, plenty of public places for enjoyment, and above all, a perfect health care system allow you to live in great comfort.

However, big cities are confronted with many problems. The biggest of them is that ever-increasing population flow toward the city results in crowded buses, traffic jams, traffic accidents, poor housing condition, and so on. Noise and pollution, mostly from factories and cars, are the two more serious problems, which endanger people’health.

With the development of science and technology, new and advanced tools such as mobile telephones and computers are becoming popular. Computer networks enable us to obtain information in a more convenient and efficient way.

In order to succeed in this competitive world, we should be aware of the vital role of information. If we can’t keep up with the new advances in science and technology, we will be left behind.

3.Two Points to Bear in Mind When Seeking a Job
