英语青春励志演讲稿(15篇)英语青春励志演讲稿(15篇)英语青春励志演讲稿篇1 Once upon a time, there was a king who had a daughter as beautiful as a blooming rose. To all the suitors who came to the king s palace to ask for the hand of the princess, the old king assigned three tasks to be accomplished, each next to impossible. One day, into the king s palace came a handsome young prince Well, you know the rest. The three tasks may be different in different versions, but the main plot is always the same, with the prince claiming the princess s hand triumphantly. And the ending is always the same, finishing with the line And they live happily every after. Why aren t we tired of something so fanciful, so unrealistic, and, I would say, so unimaginative How can a story like that endure generations of repetition` Because, I think, it is a typical success story. It is highly philosophical and symbolic. By implication, we see a 4-step definition of success: 1 ) a goal to be set. as represented by the beautiful princess; 2 ) challenges to be met, as represented by the three tasks; 3 ) the process of surmounting difficulties, as represented by the ordeals the youth goes through; and 4 ) the reward of success, as represented by the happy marriage. The story not only caters to everyone s inward yearning for success, but also emphasizes the inseparability of the process and the result. The reward of success will be much amplified if the path leading towards it is treacherous, and vice versa. If a person inherits his father s millions and leads an easy life, he is not a successful person even in material terms, because there are no difficulties involved in his achieving affluence. The term success ,to be sure. will not sit still for easy definition. But as I understand it, the true meaning of success entails a combination of both the process and the satisfactory result of an endeavor. Toclarify my view, let me give another analogy. If we changed the rules of football, greatly enlarged the goal and sent away David Seaman or any other goal keeper, so that another David, namely David Beckham, could score easily, then scoring would not give him the thrill of accomplishment and the joy that it brings. If we further changed the rules by not allowing Arsenal s defenders to defend, so that Beckham needed only to lift a finger, actually a toe, to score, then there would be no game at all, because the meaning of winning would have disappeared. In accepting the challenge, in surmounting the difficulties and in enduring the hardship, success acquires its value. The sense of attainment varies in proportion to the degree of difficulties on overcomes. The concept of success is not constant but relative because the nature of difficulty is also relative. Something you do effortlessly might pose a great difficulty for a handicapped person. In acquiring the ability to do the same as you can, he or she achieve success. That s why we greatly admire Stephen Hawking, because, though confined to a wheel chair, he has contributed greatly to the field of science.I myself, a rather shy person by nature who easily suffer from stage fright, had to pluck up great courage to take part in a speech contest like this. I could have stayed away and had an easy time ofit by not entering the university level contest. But I chose to accept the challenge and to face the difficulties. Now here I am. If I come out first, it will be a great success for me. If I come out last-Ihope this will not be the case-but if I come out last, I will not call my attempt a failure, but will also celebrate it as a true success, because part of my goal is my own character training-to do more assertive, to be brave in face of difficulties. For me, it is a meaningful step forward, small as it is, in the long journey toward the final success in my life, because I have truly gained by participating.Let us return to our handsome young prince and the 4-step definition of success. You my have noticed that the usual worldly criteria of wealth, position and fame were not mentioned as part of the story, but rather, it emphasized the process of overcoming difficulties. The ancient wisdom had already defined the meaning of success, and this is my definition, too.Thank you.译文:成功之我见很久以前,有个国王,他的女儿貌美如花。

Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today and share with you a story of perseverance and the power it holds. In a world where challenges and setbacks are a part of life, the ability to persevere is what separates the ordinary from the extraordinary.Once upon a time, in a small village nestled between rolling hills and lush forests, there lived a young girl named Lila. Lila was not like other girls her age. She had a dream, a dream that was so vivid and intense that it consumed her every thought. Her dream was to become a world-renowned artist, a painter who could capture the beauty of naturein a way that no one else could.Lila spent her days drawing and painting, her fingers沾满了油彩,她的画布上留下了无数生动的线条和色彩。

She was passionate and dedicated, but her journey was not without its obstacles. The first challenge Lila faced was her lack of formal training. In her village, there was no art school, no teacher to guide her. She had to learn everything on her own. Many nights, she would sit by her dimly lit lamp, poring over books on art history and technique, trying to understand the nuances of her craft. Her second challenge was the skepticism of those around her. Her parents, who loved her dearly, were worried about her future. They wanted her to have a stable career, something that would ensure her security. They saw her art as a hobby, a fleeting passion that would fade with time. The villagers, too, were skeptical. They had seen many young people come and go, dreaming of grandeur, only to return to the mundane routine of life. They whispered behind closed doors, questioning Lila's sanity and her ability to make a living through art.Despite these challenges, Lila refused to give up. She believed in her dream with all her heart, and she knew that if she truly wanted to achieve her goal, she had to persevere. She started by creating a small art studio in her backyard, a place where she could work undisturbed and refine her skills.Years passed, and Lila's talent began to garner attention. Her paintings started to win local competitions, and her work was featured in small galleries. However, success did not come easily. There were times when she felt overwhelmed by the pressure to live up to the expectations of others. There were moments when her heart was heavy, and her spirits were low.But Lila never lost sight of her dream. She remembered the words of her grandmother, who had always encouraged her to follow her heart. "Success is not measured by the number of times you fall," her grandmother would say, "but by the number of times you get back up."And so, Lila got back up. She continued to paint, to experiment with new techniques, and to challenge herself with more complex subjects. She learned from her failures, embracing them as stepping stones to her success. One day, a renowned art critic visited the village. He had heard about Lila's talent and decided to take a look at her work. As he walked through her studio, he was awe-struck by the depth and emotion in her paintings. He saw the struggles and triumphs of her journey reflected in every stroke of her brush. The critic was so impressed that he decided to write an article about Lila's perseverance and her unique artistic vision. The article was published in a national newspaper, and soon Lila's work began to attract the attention of galleries and collectors from all over the country. Her paintings were exhibited in major cities, and Lila's name became synonymous with beauty and determination. She received numerous awards and accolades, and her dream had finally come true. But Lila never forgot where she came from. She continued to use her art to inspire others, to show them that with perseverance and a dream, anything is possible. She traveled to schools and community centers, sharing her story and encouraging young people to pursue their passions, no matter how daunting the challenges might seem.Ladies and gentlemen, the story of Lila is a testament to the power of perseverance. It is a reminder that success is not a straight line, but rather a series of twists and turns, ups and downs. It is about staying true to yourself, about believing in your dreams, and about having the courage to face adversity head-on.In conclusion, I urge each and every one of you to embrace the power of perseverance. Whether you are pursuing a career, a hobby, or a dream, remember that the journey is as important as the destination. It is through our struggles and our resilience that we grow and become the best versions of ourselves.Thank you for listening, and may the spirit of Lila inspire you to never give up on your dreams.God bless you all.。

Nothing is easy if you don’t try your best.We often hear people say, “Never give up.” This can be encouraging words and words of determination.A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieve anything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people. Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not tryagain, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives.Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. Born into poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown. He could have quit many times - but he didn't and because he didn't quit, he became one of the greatest presidents in the history of our country.Lincoln was a champion and he never gave up.In short, it is important that we don’t give up when working for our goals. Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learn will help us to become better, more confident people. Furthermore, if we give up, we have no chance of attaining our goals, but if we keep trying, there is always a chance that we will succeed one you very much!英语励志小故事课前三分钟演讲稿Good afternoon, everyone! The topic of my speech today is “Being a Good Listener”.Good listening can always show respect, promote understanding, and improve interpersonal relationship. Many people suggest that parents should listen more to their children, so they will understand them better, and find it easy to narrow the generation gap; teachers should listen more to their students, then they can meet their needs better, and place themselves in a good relationship with their students; students should listen more to their classmates, thus they will help and learn from each other, and a friendship is likely to be formed. What I want to stress is that each of us should listen more to others. Show your respect and never stop others till they finish their talk; show you are interested by a supportive silence or a knowing smile; be open-minded to different opinions even though you don’t like them. In a word, good listening can really enable us to get closer to each other.Thank you for your listening!英语励志小故事课前三分钟演讲稿hello,my name is i’ll tell you a story about helen keller.helen keller was an amercian writer ,she was born in was deaf-blind because she had a disease when she was 1 year with the help of her teacher anne sullivan, she learned to talk with her fingers, speak, write and read the books for became a student of harvard university and she became a great died in 1968.now,i’ll tell you the story about day ,in the afternoon, helen and mrs sullivan had a dispute of the word “cup”and “water”.mrs sullivan wanted helen to know “cup”is”cup”,”water”is”water”.but helen couldn't understand the difference between”cup”and “water”.she thought”water”could be “cup”and”cup”could be “water”.mrs sullivan had not ideas ,so she let helen praciece the word “doll”and touch the doll with helen’s fingers. helen was angry and bored, she threw the doll to the,mrs sullivan and helen went out to mrs sullivan washed helen’s hands, the water was flowing on helen’s sullivan wrote the word ‘water’on helen’s wrote many times, helenknew the water was flowing on her hands and understood the meaning of the word”water” the same way, helen learnd many many new she became a great writer.this is my story, thank you .。

Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed teachers, and beloved students,Good morning/afternoon/evening! Today, I stand before you to share with you a story that has inspired me for years. It is a story about dreams, perseverance, and the power of believing in oneself. I hope this story will ignite the fire in your hearts and remind you of the endless possibilities that lie ahead.Once upon a time, in a small village nestled between rolling hills and a sparkling river, there lived a young boy named Tom. Tom was an ordinary boy with an extraordinary dream. He dreamt of becoming a great artist, one who could capture the beauty of the world in his paintings. However, life was not easy for Tom. His family was poor, and he had to work in the fields to help support them.Every morning, as the sun rose, Tom would wake up and work in the fields with his parents. Despite the hard labor, Tom always found time to sketch and paint the scenes around him. His passion for art was evident in every stroke of his brush. However, his family couldn't afford to send him to an art school, and Tom felt that his dream was slipping away from him.One day, while Tom was working in the fields, he came across an old, worn-out book about famous artists. As he flipped through the pages, he felt a surge of inspiration. He realized that many great artists had overcome adversity to achieve their dreams. This gave him the courage to believe that he could do the same.Determined to pursue his dream, Tom began to save every penny he earned from working in the fields. With the money he saved, he bought art supplies and practiced his skills every day. Despite the challenges, Tom never gave up. He believed that if he worked hard enough, his dream would come true.As time passed, Tom's art began to gain attention. People from the village would come to see his paintings, and they were amazed by the beauty and emotion he could convey through his brush. Word of Tom'stalent spread, and soon, he was invited to display his work in a nearby town.Tom's parents were overjoyed to see their son's dream come true. However, Tom knew that he couldn't stop there. He wanted to share his art withthe world and inspire others to pursue their dreams. With this goal in mind, Tom set out to travel and showcase his work in different cities.Throughout his journey, Tom faced many obstacles. He often found himself in unfamiliar places, with no money and no support. But he never let these challenges discourage him. Instead, he reminded himself of his dream and the countless hours he had spent perfecting his skills. One day, while Tom was traveling through a bustling city, he came across a young girl who was crying. Curious, Tom approached her and asked what was wrong. The girl explained that she had lost her way and couldn'tfind her parents. Tom felt a pang of empathy and decided to help her.As they searched for her parents, Tom shared stories of his own journey and how he overcame adversity to pursue his dream. The girl listened intently, her eyes filled with hope. In that moment, Tom realized that his art was not just a way to express himself but a way to inspire others. With the girl's parents safely found, Tom continued his journey. Along the way, he met many people who were struggling with their own dreams. He shared his story and encouraged them to believe in themselves. Gradually, he became a symbol of hope and inspiration to those who needed it most.Years passed, and Tom's art gained international recognition. He became a renowned artist, known for his ability to capture the essence of human emotions in his paintings. However, Tom never forgot his roots. He continued to travel and share his story, inspiring others to pursuetheir dreams, no matter how difficult it may seem.In conclusion, the story of Tom is a testament to the power of dreamsand perseverance. It teaches us that if we believe in ourselves and work hard, we can achieve our goals. It reminds us that our dreams are notjust a figment of our imagination but a guiding force that can lead usto a brighter future.Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed teachers, and beloved students, let this story be a reminder to you that you have the power to shape your destiny. Never let your dreams fade away. Embrace them, nurture them, and never stop believing in yourself. For in the end, it is our dreams that define us and give us the strength to overcome any obstacle.Thank you for listening, and may your dreams guide you to a world of endless possibilities.。
