was\were+doing是过去进行时，表示在过去某一时刻正在进行的动作。

Eg: He wasn't watching the hamburgers at that time.

知识点二：I can't remember what we had for supper that night.

【辨析】“forget to do sth。”表示将来不要忘记做某事，谈的是未来的事情；

“forget doing sth。”表示忘记过去应该做的事情。
