English:Refusing to attend supplementary classes is a decision I've made after careful consideration of my priorities and commitments. While I understand the importance of additional study sessions for some students, I believe that I can effectively manage my time and academic workload without the need for extra classes. My refusal isn't a dismissal of the value of supplementary education; rather, it's a reflection of my confidence in my ability to learn independently and utilize available resources efficiently. I am fully committed to dedicating myself to my studies during regular school hours and utilizing self-study methods outside of class to reinforce my understanding of subjects. Furthermore, attending supplementary classes would encroach upon the time I allocate for extracurricular activities, personal interests, and family responsibilities, which are integral aspects of my holistic development. Therefore, while I appreciate the offer and recognize its potential benefits, I respectfully decline to attend supplementary classes at this time.
The Benefits of Rejecting Supplemental Education Classes. As a student, I have often been pressured to attend supplemental education classes, commonly known as "buxi ban" in Chinese. These classes are designed to provide extra support in certain subjects, such as math, English, and science. While these classes may seem beneficial at first glance, I believe that rejecting supplemental education classes can actually be more advantageous for students in the long run.One of the main reasons why I believe that rejecting supplemental education classes is beneficial is that it forces students to become more independent learners. When students rely on supplemental education classes, they become accustomed to having someone else explain the material to them. As a result, they may not develop the skills necessary to learn on their own. By rejectingsupplemental education classes, students are forced to take ownership of their own learning. They must learn to read, understand, and apply the material on their own. This can be a challenging process, but it is ultimately rewarding.Another reason why I believe that rejecting supplemental education classes is beneficial is that it frees up students' time. Supplemental education classes can take up a significant amount of time, especially if students are enrolled in multiple classes. This time could be better spent on other activities, such asextracurricular activities, hobbies, or spending time with family and friends. By rejecting supplemental education classes, students can free up their time to pursue other interests and develop their skills and talents.Of course, there are some cases in which supplemental education classes may be beneficial. For example, if a student is struggling in a particular subject, a supplemental education class could provide the extra support that they need to succeed. However, I believe that in most cases, rejecting supplemental education classes isthe better choice for students. In conclusion, I believe that rejecting supplemental education classes can be more beneficial for students in the long run. By becoming more independent learners, freeing up their time, and pursuing other interests, students can develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in school and in life.。
As the competition in education becomes increasingly fierce, many parents have chosen to send their children to various tutoring classes in order to improve their academic performance. However, I strongly oppose this idea for several reasons.Firstly, excessive tutoring classes can cause physical and mental harm to children. Children have a limitedability to concentrate, and attending too many classes can lead to exhaustion and even burnout. Moreover, the pressure to perform well in these classes can cause anxiety and stress, which can negatively affect a child's mental health.Secondly, attending tutoring classes can lead to a lack of independence and creativity in children. When children are constantly told what to do and how to do it, they may lose their ability to think for themselves and come up with their own ideas. This can hinder their future academic and personal development.Thirdly, tutoring classes can be a waste of time and money. Many classes only cover the same material that is already taught in school, and some teachers may not be qualified or experienced enough to provide effective instruction. Parents may end up spending a lot of money on classes that do not provide any real benefit to theirchild's education. Finally, attending tutoring classes can take away from valuable family time and extracurricular activities. Children need time to relax and pursue their own interests outside of school. Spending all their free time in tutoring classes can lead to a lack of balance in their lives and limit their opportunities for personal growth. In conclusion, while tutoring classes may seem like a quick fix for improving a child's academic performance, they can actually do more harm than good. Children need time to rest, play, and explore their own interests in order to become well-rounded individuals. Parents should focus on providing a supportive and nurturing environmentat home, rather than relying on outside sources for their child's education.。
As a student, I have always been under the pressure of academic performance. Many of my peers have resorted to attending tutoring classes to improve their grades. However, I have always been reluctant to attend such classes. Inthis essay, I will explain my reasons for not wanting to attend tutoring classes.Firstly, attending tutoring classes would meansacrificing my free time. As a student, I already have alot on my plate. I have to attend classes, complete assignments, and prepare for exams. In addition to this, I also have other interests and hobbies that I enjoy pursuing in my free time. If I were to attend tutoring classes, I would have to give up some of my free time, which would leave me feeling stressed and overwhelmed.Secondly, I believe that attending tutoring classes would make me overly dependent on external help. While tutoring classes can be helpful in clarifying doubts andproviding additional support, I believe that it is important to develop independent learning skills. Byrelying too heavily on tutoring classes, I may not be able to develop the necessary skills to learn on my own, which could be detrimental in the long run.Thirdly, I feel that attending tutoring classes would not necessarily guarantee better grades. While tutoring classes can provide additional support, there are many other factors that contribute to academic performance, such as motivation, study habits, and time management skills. Therefore, attending tutoring classes may not necessarily lead to better grades, and may even be a waste of time and money. In conclusion, while tutoring classes may be helpfulfor some students, I believe that they are not necessaryfor everyone. As a student, I prefer to manage my time and learning independently, and believe that this approach has helped me to develop important skills such as self-discipline and self-motivation. Therefore, I will continueto focus on my studies and pursue my interests without relying on external help.。
1Too Much School Makes My Brain HurtHi, my name is Jamie and I'm in 4th grade. I used to love going to school and learning new things. But lately, school has been really hard and stressful for me. It's not because the work is too difficult - I'm actually a pretty good student. The problem is that my parents make me go to tutoring classes after school almost every day of the week!I totally understand why they do it. My parents really care about my education and want to make sure I'm prepared for tests and doing well in all my subjects. They think the extra tutoring will help me get ahead. But I disagree - I think the tutoring is doing more harm than good. Let me explain why.First off, the tutoring is just way too much on top of my already long school day. I wake up at 6:30am to get ready for school, which starts at 8am. I'm at school, sitting at my desk and listening to teachers talk for 6 hours straight until 2pm. Then instead of getting a break, I have to quickly eat a snack and headright to my tutoring center until 6pm. That's a 10 hour day of non-stop learning! By the time I get home, I'm completely drained. My brain feels fried and I'm too tired to even play before bedtime.Having such a packed schedule is really hard, especially for a kid my age. My friends who don't do tutoring get to relax after school. They have time to run around outside, play sports, video games, read for fun, or just chill out for a bit. Not me though - I'm heading straight to more classes as soon as the school bell rings. It's no wonder I'm always exhausted and grumpy by dinner time! The worst part is, because I'm so drained from the long days, I can't even focus well during the tutoring sessions. The tutors will be trying to teach me something new, but my brain is just zoned out. I'll be staring off into space, doodling in my notebook, or resting my head on the desk. I'm simply too burned out to absorb any more information after my regular school day. It's like that saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." The tutors can try teaching me, but if I'm running on fumes, none of the lessons will stick anyway.I feel bad for sort of wasting my parents' money on tutoring when I can't even pay attention a lot of the time. All that tutoringis pretty expensive too. It would be better if they saved that money for something fun, like a family vacation during school breaks. At least then I'd get a chance to recharge my brain and come back ready to learn. The other thing that really stresses me out about all the tutoring is the constant cycle of testing, testing, testing. At school, we'll have unit tests, quarterly tests, state tests, you name it. Then during tutoring, I have to take even more practice tests all the time to "assess my progress." It feels like my entire life is just prepping for the next test, over and over again. Whatever happened to actually learning for the sake of growing knowledge andfeeding my curiosity? I'm a kid - not a rocket scientist preparing to be launched into space. When is the last time any adult asked me what topics I'm actually interested in exploring? Or if I had any questions stemming from my own thoughts and wonderings? The tutoring is always focused on improving my math scores, pushing me to read harder books, grilling me on geography facts, and so on. But seldom does anyone ask me: "Jamie, what fascinating idea or strange question has been on your mind lately? Let's dive into that for a while!" School and learning should be about more than just checking off lists of academic standards.I miss craving knowledge simply for the fun of it, not because I have to know it for another test. That fire of pure curiosity used to burn bright inside me when I was younger. But I worry it's being smothered from staying in schooling mode pretty much all day, every day. Weekends and holidays are my only breaks anymore.Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to working hard or even getting some extra academic help here and there. But the extreme amount of tutoring my parents demand is totally excessive. I'm only 9 years old for crying out loud!I should have much more free time after school to just be a kid - running through the sprinklers, climbing trees, riding bikes with friends, using my imagination. That mental break is essential for me to stay excited about learning, and for keeping my youthful spirit alive. With every after-school moment packed with more academic drills and tutors quizzing me, it feels like my childhood is slowly being chipped away.I don't want to be prematurely turned into a burned out workaholic who has forgotten how to play and explore the world creatively. That's a great way to wind up jaded towards education before even reaching high school. I beg you parents, please ease up on all the tutoring! Let me have some quality freetime so I can re-energize my mind and eagerly want to learn again. A balanced schedule is key for this kiddo's smarts and happiness!篇2Why I Don't Want to Attend After-School Tutoring ClassesHello everyone! My name is Lily, and today I want to share with you why I don't want to attend after-school tutoring classes. As a primary school student, I believe that spending time on other activities is just as important as studying.Firstly, attending after-school tutoring classes can be tiring. We already have a full day of classes at school, and our brains need some rest and relaxation. After spending hours learning in the classroom, going to more classes can make us feel exhausted and overwhelmed. It's important to have a balance between study and play to keep our minds fresh and active.Secondly, extracurricular activities help us develop important skills. When we join clubs or engage in hobbies, we have the opportunity to explore our interests and discover new talents. For example, I love painting, and attending an art club after school allows me to unleash my creativity. These activities not only make us happy but also teach us teamwork,problem-solving, and time management skills. These skills are valuable and will benefit us in the future.Furthermore, spending time with family is crucial for our emotional well-being. After-school tutoring classes can take up a lot of our time, leaving us with very little time to spend with our parents and siblings. Family time is precious because it strengthens our bonds and creates lasting memories. Whether it's having dinner together, playing games, or simply chatting, these moments are irreplaceable. By avoiding excessiveafter-school classes, we can enjoy more quality time with our loved ones.Additionally, regular physical exercise is essential for our health. Attending tutoring classes can reduce the time we have for outdoor activities and sports. Exercise keeps our bodies fit and healthy, and it also helps us to stay focused and energized during our studies. Whether it's playing football, riding a bike, or taking a swim, being active allows us to have fun and stay in shape.Lastly, having free time allows us to explore the world around us and pursue our own interests. Without the burden of excessive after-school classes, we have the freedom to read books, visit museums, or engage in other activities that spark ourcuriosity. This helps us expand our knowledge and develop a broader perspective of the world. By exploring our interests, we can discover our passions and talents, which can guide us towards a fulfilling future. In conclusion, as a primary school student, I believe that attending after-school tutoring classes is not the best option for me. It can be tiring, limit my opportunities for extracurricular activities, reduce family time, and hinder my physical exercise. By having free time, I can explore my interests, spend quality time with my family, and develop important skills. So, let's strike a balance between study and play to lead a happy andwell-rounded life!Thank you for listening to my thoughts.篇3Don't Make Me Go to Tutoring After School!Hi, my name is Sam and I'm in 5th grade. I really hope my mom and dad are reading this because I have something very important to tell them. Please, please, please don't make me go to tutoring after school! I know you think it will help me get better grades, but there are so many reasons why I don't want to go.First of all, I'm already at school for 7 hours a day, from 8am to 3pm. That's a really long time! By the end of the day, I'm tired, hungry, and ready to come home and relax. The last thing I want to do is spend more hours at another classroom. School is hard enough as it is with all the homework, tests, and sitting still we have to do already. Tutoring after school would make my days way too long and difficult.Secondly, after school is my free time to have fun, play outside, and just be a kid. If I have to go to tutoring, I'll miss out on playing with my friends, riding bikes, going to the park, and doing all the other activities kids are supposed to do. Sure, getting good grades is important, but having a balanced life is important too. Kids need free time after school to recharge and let loose before going home and doing homework. Tutoring would take away that free time and leave no room for fun.Another reason I don't want tutoring is that I'll miss out on my after-school activities. On Mondays, I have soccer practice. On Tuesdays, I have my art class that I love. On Wednesdays, it's my turn to walk my neighbor's dog as a job. And on Thursdays, I attend chess club. If I have tutoring, I'll have to quit all those activities that help make me a well-rounded person. The whole point of being a kid is to try lots of different activities and figureout our interests and talents. Tutoring would prevent me from doing that.Plus, what if the tutoring is really boring and I can't even pay attention? A lot of tutors use outdated methods that aren't fun or engaging at all. I've heard horror stories of kids just zoning out during tutoring because the tutor just lectures the whole time. If I'm spaced out and not focused, then tutoring would be a huge waste of time and money for my parents. Why spend all that money if I'm not going to pay attention anyway?Tutoring also takes away from family time in the evenings. Right now, we enjoy having dinner together as a family and discussing our days. But if I have tutoring, I'll be gone during that family time. Or maybe tutoring would prevent me from eating dinner until really late, which is also unhealthy. Family time is really important, and tutoring disrupts that bonding experience. What if I am having a bad day or feeling sick? With regular school, I can stay home to rest if I'm under the weather. But with tutoring, I'll be expected to drag myself there no matter what. That's not fair! Kids need leeway to stay home occasionally without falling behind. And let's not forget about the piles of extra homework tutors tend to assign on top of the homework I already get from school. When will I have free time with all that extra work? Kids need balance, not excessive amounts of academic work.My parents, please don't put me through the torture of tutoring after an already long school day. It would deprive me of so many important aspects of childhood - free time, after-school activities, family time, and rest time. School work is important, but so is developing other spheres of life. I'm a kid! I should have time to play, explore interests, spend time with family, and simply be a child. If my grades need to improve, I promise to try harder during my actual school days. Maybe I can ask my teachers for extra help before or after class sometimes. Or my parents can hire a tutor for occasional weekend sessions instead of dragging me somewhere after school every single day. I understand you want me to succeed, but tutoring feels like overkilled academics without a childhood. There's so much more to life than just academics. Enjoying my childhood is important too. So please, no tutoring! I'm begging here! Don't rob me of my free time and overwhelming me with excessive work. Let me be a kid while I can. Pretty pretty please!Phew, I've made my case! I really hope you'll consider what I've said. Childhood goes by so quickly, so let me live it fully without being overworked. I promise I'll focus more in school. Just no tutoring...pretty please? Thanks for reading!篇4Why We Don't Need Tuition Classes After SchoolHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. A lot of my classmates go to tuition classes after school to get extra help with their schoolwork. Their parents think the tuition teachers can explain things better than our regular teachers. But I don't go to any tuition classes and I don't think kids really need them. Let me tell you why.First of all, our teachers at school are really good at teaching us everything we need to know. Mrs. Robertson, my math teacher, makes lessons super clear and easy to understand. She uses fun examples and lets us practice lots of questions until we get it. If anyone is still confused about something, she always takes time after class to go through it again slowly. My English teacher, Mr. Patel, is amazing at explaining grammar rules and helping us with writing stories and essays. He gives us creativeprompts and reads our work out loud so we can hear how it sounds. The science and social studies teachers use interactive activities and videos to make those subjects interesting too. I really don't see why we need extra tuition when the teachers at school are so great!Tuition classes also expect us to sit for such long hours after an already tiring school day. I'd much rather use that time to play outside, read for fun, spend time with family or just relax. If I'm at tuition till 8pm, I'll be exhausted by bedtime. Where's the time for hobbies or being a kid? Learning is important but we need breaks too. Schools already keep us busy enough with homework and tests. After such a long, heavy day of studies, tuition just seems like more unnecessary stress and mental strain.Another problem is that tuition centres often rush way ahead of what we're doing in school. They claim this gives kids a headstart and an advantage. But to me, it feels like too much, too fast. My brain can't absorb everything at that insanely quick pace. I'd rather take my time understanding each concept thoroughly as we cover it in school. That's way more effective than blindly memorizing formulas and definitions for concepts my schoolhasn't even taught yet. It's overwhelming and the information doesn't really stick.Tuition classes also encourage competition between students in an unhealthy way. There's so much pressure and comparison over ranks and scores. I've seen kids getting stressed out just because their friends scored 1 or 2 marks more. We're made to feel like failures if we're not constantly at the very top. But marks aren't everything! We're still young and learning at different paces is normal. Pushing us to be Number 1 all the time breeds insecurity, anxiety and an unhealthy obsession with grades over actually understanding. School is about discovering interests, developing skills and becoming well-rounded. Not just mindless ranking. So those are the key reasons why I don't think tuition classes are necessary or even beneficial for kids my age. Our teachers give us a great education at school and tuition is just piling on even more stress and pressure unnecessarily. Of course, some kids might genuinely need a little extra academic support for specific subjects. But those students can just get guidance from school teachers, not enroll in an entire formal tuition programme with oppressive home study routines. At 10 years old, we should be spending time playing, exploring hobbies, bonding with friends and family. Not trapping ourselves in classes for 12 hours straight! I'd much rather use my free time making happy memories and discovering what I love doing. Not just weighed down by deadlines, textbooks and traumatic maths tuitions. We're only kids once, let's actually enjoy it while it lasts instead of turning childhood into an extension of school/tuition routine. That's my take anyway! So in summary, tuition centres aren't the magical solution for academic success that everyone thinks. They create unnecessary stress, make learning tedious instead of fun, encourage toxic competition and honestly just overburden us. Schools give comprehensive quality education already. After putting in our sincere efforts through the day, kids deserve evenings off to recharge through play, family time and relaxing pastimes we enjoy. That's way more important than being trapped in tuition classes against our will!篇5Why We Don't Need Tutoring Classes After SchoolHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm in the 5th grade. A lot of my friends go to tutoring classes after school to get extra helpwith their schoolwork. Their parents make them go because they think it will help them get better grades. But I don't go to any tutoring classes, and I don't think kids really need them. Let me tell you why.First of all, we already spend so much time at school! We're there from 8am until 3pm, which is 7 hours a day. That's a really long time, especially for little kids. On top of that, we have homework to do when we get home. I'm usually working on homework for 1-2 hours after I get home from school. So overall, we're spending 8-9 hours per day on schoolwork already. That's like a full-time job! Adding tutoring classes on top of that seems excessive to me.Secondly, the tutoring classes teach basically the same stuff we learn at school anyway. It's just more repetition of math problems, reading comprehension, writing practice, etc. But our teachers at school already make us go over that stuff so many times. We do loads of practice problems, have to read books and answer questions, and write essays and stories. So then having to go over it again after school is just boring and repetitive. It's like doing the same job twice in one day!Another reason I don't like tutoring classes is that they take away from important free play time after school. When I gethome from school, I like to have a snack, run around outside and get some fresh air, play games, and just have free time to relax and use my creativity. But a lot of my friends who go to tutoring classes don't have any free time after school because they're just going straight to more classes. Kids need time after school to recharge their brains and bodies through unstructured play. Sitting in another classroom isn篇6Don't Make Me Go to Tutoring Classes After School!Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 10-year-old student in the 5th grade. I love going to school and learning new things every day, but there's one thing I really don't like – after-school tutoring classes. I know my parents want me to do well in school and get good grades, but I think going to tutoring classes after a long day at school is just too much. Here's why I don't think kids like me should have to go to tutoring classes:We're already at school for so many hours!Between getting up early, going to school from morning until afternoon, and then having homework to do in the evenings, we kids are already spending most of our waking hours on schoolwork. Adding tutoring classes on top of that just feelslike too much. By the time the regular school day is over, I'm exhausted! The last thing I want to do is sit through even more classes. I need time to recharge my brain and have some fun and relaxation. We miss out on being kids.Childhood is meant for playing, using our imagination, exploring the outdoors, and just being free and happy. But if we're stuck at tutoring classes until late in the evenings, we miss out on so much of that! I love playing sports, riding my bike around the neighborhood with friends, and using my creativity for art projects and building things. Tutoring classes take away from all that valuable play and hobby time that helps kids develop into well-rounded people.One-on-one time with family gets cut short. After getting home from tutoring late in the evening, it's pretty much straight to dinner, maybe some homework help from Mom and Dad if I need it, and then bedtime. That leaves very little quality family time! I cherish those moments when we can all sit together, talk about our days, joke around, and just spend pleasant time as a family. Tutoring classes interfere with that bonding experience. We're just kids – we shouldn't be stressed out!Constantly drilling academic subjects and worrying about tests and scores is putting way too much pressure and stress on kids at much too young an age. I've seen many of my friends get overwhelmed, anxious, and burned out from the intense tutoring regimes they're put through. We're just little kids! We shouldn't have to feel that kind of burden and intensity about school work. It's really unhealthy. Our curiosity and love of learning gets squashed. At school, despite having to follow a curriculum, I still get to experience the joy of learning through engaging lessons, experiments, creative projects, and more. But tutoring classes are usually just an endless grind of practice quizzes, fact memorization, and test-prepping. It totally drains the fun, curiosity, and passion out of learning. By the time I'm done with tutoring, I'm sick of even thinking about those subjects! Is that really helping me develop a love of knowledge?Teachers are professionals – why do we need even more classes? Our teachers at school are highly trained professionals who went through many years of education to learn howto effectivelyteach children. They know all the latest teaching methods and strategies to make sure we're understanding the material. So if we're already getting quality instruction at school from credentialed teachers, why do we need even more classes? It seems like a waste of time and money for our families. We all learn at our own pace.Every kid is different and has different strengths, weaknesses, interests, and learning styles. Tutoring classes tend to be very one-size-fits-all, using the same techniques on every student. But that's not how kids learn best! We thrive when lessons are customized to our personal needs and abilities. Otherwise, some kids will be struggling while others are breezing through material that's too easy for them. It's inefficient and ineffective.Social lives and lasting friendships are important too.A huge part of the school experience is building social skills and making friends that will last a lifetime. But if we're always stuck at tutoring and don't have free time in the afternoons and evenings, we lose out on socializing with peers, joining clubs and activities, going to friends' houses, and making those magical childhood memories. Isn't that just as crucial for development as academics?Kids need healthy balances. They always say that "all work and no play" isn't good for anyone. We're just kids – we need a big mix of work, play, activity, creativity, family time, social time, and more. An overly academic schedule of endless school and tutoring isn't healthy or conducive to raising happy, brilliant, amazing kids. There has to be a balance! We deserve breaks and holidays too!During summer vacation and the big school breaks, kids should be able to completely disconnect from academics and just have a total rest from anything school-related. But for lots of kids, tutoring classes continue happening all through those breaks too. That's just cruel! We work hard all year and look forward to those holidays to recharge our batteries. Isn't that unfair to take that away from us?So in conclusion, while I understand that my parents' intentions are good and they want me to succeed, I really, really don't want to have to go to after-school tutoring classes on top of my regular school schedule. I'm already inundated with academics from morningto night, and tutoring would just overwhelm me even more. As a kid, I need a balanced lifestyle with time for fun, creativity, socializing, family time, and justbeing a kid! Putting so much pressure and intensity on academics at this age doesn't seem healthy or effective for building a true lifelong love of learning.I hope I've explained my perspective well! Let kids be kids and live a balanced, joyful childhood. We'll be much better students when we're given the chance to be vibrant, curious, and engaged – not bored, burned out, and bogged down in tutoring. Please listen to us kids on this one, parents! Thanks for reading my essay!。

1:As an eighth grader, I firmly oppose the idea of attending coaching classes. In my opinion, there are several reasons why I believe that students should not be forced to join these classes.Firstly, attending coaching classes after school adds extra burden and pressure on students. We already have a lot of homework and assignments to complete, and participating in additional classes only increases our workload. This leaves us with little time for relaxation, hobbies, or spending quality time with our family and friends. It is essential for students to have a balanced lifestyle, and attending coaching classes disrupts this balance.Secondly, coaching classes often focus solely on exam preparation and rote learning. They tend to neglect the development of critical thinking skills and creative abilities. Education should be holistic, providing a well-rounded learning experience. Attending regular school classes allows us to explore various subjects and develop a broaderperspective on different topics. On the other hand, coaching classes restrict us to a narrow syllabus, limiting our overall growth as individuals.Furthermore, coaching classes can create a sense of competition and comparison among students. Instead of fostering a cooperative and supportive learning environment, these classes often encourage unhealthy competition. Students become more concerned about outperforming their peers rather than focusing on their own personal growth. This can lead to increased stress and anxiety, affecting their mentalwell-being.Lastly, attending coaching classes can be financially burdensome for many families. These classes often come with hefty fees, which not all parents can afford. Education should be accessible to all, regardless of their financial background. By making coaching classes mandatory, we are further widening the educational gap between students from differentsocio-economic backgrounds.
