The Mid Autumn Festival has always been known as the Chinese traditional festival of human feelings and poetic feelings of the Chinese nation. It is on August 15 of the lunar calendar every year. It is a day of warm reunion and the support of the nostalgia of the Chinese people. The Mid Autumn Festival, the Spring Festival, the Qingming Festival and the Dragon Boat Festival are known as the fourtraditional festivals of the Han nationality in China. The word "Mid Autumn Festival" was first seen in Zhou Li. According to historical records, the festival period for emperors to worship the moon in ancient times was August 15 of the lunar calendar, which coincided with half of the third Autumn Festival, so it was named "Mid Autumn Festival"; Because this festival is in autumn and August, it is also called "Autumn Festival", "August Festival", "Mid Autumn Festival", etc; There are also beliefs and related customs to pray for reunion, so it is also called "reunion day" and "daughter's Day". Because the main activities of the Mid Autumn Festival are carried out around the "Moon", it is also commonly known as "Moon Festival", "moon Eve", "chasing the Moon Festival", "playing the Moon Festival" and "moon worship Festival"; In the Tang Dynasty, the Mid Autumn Festival was also called "Duan Zhengyue". By the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was as famous as new year's day and became one of the main festivals in China. The mid autumn festival represents reunion and family reunion. At this time, appreciating the moon in the Mid Autumn Festival has become a common custom everywhere. Families will sit in the yard, eat moon cakes, enjoy the moon hanging on the horizon, the full moon knows the hearts of the people, have a dinner with their families and send sincere blessings to their relatives far away from home. It is the most important chapter of the Mid Autumn Festival. Du Fu said with infinite expectation that "the dew is white from tonight, and the moon is the hometown of Ming." Su Shi sincerely wished "I wish people a long time and a thousand miles together.". Throughout the ages, countless writers and writers have been writing poems about the MidAutumn Festival.Chinese traditional culture is broad, profound and has a long history. 与节日有关的英文演讲稿1In these two weeks, I have collected information on many traditional Chinese cultures. There are couplets, 12 zodiac signs, paper-cut and Chinese traditional festival pictures and words. Among them, I like the traditional festivals best because I am very interested in traditional festivals. In the traditional festivals that I am interested in, I like Spring Festival most, because it is the most solemn traditional festival of Chinese folk. On the first day of the first lunar month, it is also called the lunar year, commonly known as New Year and New Year. Every year, the streets are hung with red lanterns and colorful flags. Mom made a big dinner. From time to time there was a crackle of crackle. Every little friend put on a beautiful new dress and the grown-ups smiled happily. My father bought me many flowers and firecrackers. In the evening, I took out the flowers and went out with the children. We had a great time. At the beginning of the Spring Festival party, I was reluctant to go home, eat fruit with my family, watch the party, and the wonderful program made us laugh.I also like the double ninth festival. The ninth day of the ninth lunar month is an ancient Chinese holiday. The double ninth festival is also called old day. It originated during the tang dynasty, when it was the center of the moon. In the qingming period, became the folk festival. The Mid-Autumn festival is second only to the Spring Festival. The Mid-Autumn festival is when the moon is full. People thought of the reunion of the world from the moon in the sky. Therefore, theMid-Autumn festival is called reunion festival in ancient times. People yearn for the round circle. Reunion is the ideal of life for Chinese people.I hope that people will be long, thousands of thousands of beauty, the peoples good wishes. The Mid-Autumn festival attaches great importance to the cultivation and expression of family affection, and has an irreplaceable role in promoting social harmony. I like Mid-Autumn festival very much. When it comes to the Mid-Autumn festival, our family would like to enjoy the moon, eat moon cakes and watch theMid-Autumn festival. This years Mid-Autumn festival, our family reunion together, everybody say smile, but happy. The moon was not as bright as the Mid-Autumn festival. But it was beautiful. The moon sometimes looked like a shy girl, and the wind brother said a few words to her, and hid behind the clouds, covered with a veil, which looked more delicate and charming. Now and then, like a naughty child, he peeked out at us for the holiday! I cant help it. Dad heard it and asked, what are you laughing at? I deliberately and mysteriously said secret.与节日有关的英文演讲稿3The Double Ninth FestivalThe ninth day of the ninth lunar month is the Chong Yang Festival, a traditional festival in China. The celebrating activities are various and romantic, including climbing mountains, appreciating chrysanthemums, wearing dogwoods, eating the Chong Yang cake and so on. “Nine” has the same pronunciation as the Chinese character “jiu” which stands for ”a long time”, and is the biggest single figure. Therefore it indicts longevity. There have been a lot of poems and works celebrating the Chong Yang Festival and praising chrysanthemums since ancient times. People also believe that climbing mountains can expel bad luck, and indicates “climbing to a higher position” and “longevity”. China designates the ninth day of the ninth month as Senior‘s Day, which combines tradition with modern times subtly to turn it into a festival for respecting , caring about, loving, and helping the elderly people.与节日有关的英文演讲稿4In the traditional festival of our country, my favorite is the lively Spring Festival. How did the Spring Festival comeOnce upon a time, there was a monster named nian who often bullied people in the mountains in winter. Some people wanted to get rid of it, and some wanted to get rid of it. One day, many people were attacked at home. Only a few doors hung with red curtains, and no one was hurt by the fire or knocking at the door, so people in the mountains knew they were afraid of three things. When they came back, people used these three things to drive away the monster, and they never dared to hurt people. In the future, it has been passed down from generation to generation.I like Spring Festival, and I go to flower market every Spring Festival. Flower people mountain people sea can be noisy in the city, the people in the shop in loud Shouting and sell all kinds of things, some sell gorgeous colorful, fragrant attractive flowers, some sell delicious popcorn and drink beverages, and sell all kinds of toys.In recent years, with the strong, our nations leaders also began at the time of the Spring Festival, speeches or articles to the festive greetings to the Chinese in their home country, the Chinese New Year is becoming more and more influential in the world.与节日有关的英文演讲稿5Chinese traditional festival is an important part of traditional Chinese culture and expression form.It shows the spirit of the Chinese nation in the world and expresses the quest for better vision, wisdom and ethics .In the world today, cultural exchange between East and West.So it is very important for us to use the ideas and perspectives of modern society to reveal the intrinsic value of traditional cultures. And Traditional Chinese Festival is one of the major carriers. As we all know ,there are so many traditional festivals ,including the Spring Festival, the Lantern Festival, the Ching Ming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Chung Yeung Festival and soon .Every festival has its special meaning and represents our great traditional Chinese culture.Such as ,spring festival .It is very important to our Chinese people just as Christmas to western ,In this festival every family member will gather together and do something special ,like make dumplings, set off firecrackers dragon play and so on .The spring festival composed the chapter which the entire family reunion and discards the old for the new.In my opinion ,traditional festival has three meanings .Firstly, in these traditional festivals, it is easy to arouse the emotion to the family, tothe hometown and to motherland.People will be more united through those festivals.Secondly , traditional festival is the expression of culture and implies a unique understanding of the history andvalue.Thirdly ,traditional festival reflects the value concept and ideological mode of Chinese nation. And whats more ,it has showed the world ,our Chinese people are simple ,warm and industrious. So lets treasure our traditional festivals and flourish it to the world .与节日有关的英文演讲稿文章到此就结束了,欢迎大家下载使用并丰富,共享给更多有需要的人。

Chinese traditional festivalsAs we know, we have lots of festivals, such as Spring Festival(春节), Lantern Festival(元宵节), Tomb-Sweeping Day(清明节), Dragon Boat Festival(端午节), Mid-Autumn (Moon)Festival(中秋节), Double-ninth Day(重阳节), New Year's Eve(除夕)and so on.As for me, I like New Year's Eve the most, because only in that day can I take a party for all of my friends. We talk with each other sincerely, and we drink heartily(尽情地)。

I enjoy this process very much。

Between Chinese traditional festivals and Western festivals, I prefer the The former. Because Chinese festivals Contain our traditional culture, we must Inherit and develop(继承和发展) it.Recently, more and more Chinese would rather to celebrate the Foreign festivals, such as Christmas Day, Easter(复活节),Thanksgiving(感恩节),Saint Valentine's Day(情人节),Halloween(万圣节)and so on .I think Christmas Day would not replace our Spring Festival. Because Spring Festival is our culture and Era of faith(信仰).In order to protect and develop our traditional festivals, I thinkgovernment should take more steps to draw people’s attention. For example, give people more Vacation in traditional festivals and pay attention to traditional culture education2012-4-25。

I am very glad to share my topic with you. Then we'd like to talk something about Mid-Autumn festival today. My name is ____. So, ____, can you make some introductions about the Mid-Autumn festival?Okay. The Mid-Autumn festival is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th day of August. It is a time for family members and loved ones to congregate and enjoy the full moon, which is an auspicious symbol of abundance, harmony and luck. On the evening there will be a big family dinner. After dinner, people usually taste delicious moon cakes of many varieties with a good cup of hot Chinese tea, while children run around with their brightly-lit lanterns. They can also look back on the past and look forward to the future together. By the way, do you know what the meaning behind this holiday is?Mid-Autumn festival probably began as a harvest festival. The festival was later given a mythological flavor with legends of Chang-E, the beautiful lady in the moon. According to Chinese mythology, the earth once had 10 suns circling over it.One day, all 10 suns appeared together, scorching the earth with their heat. The earth was saved when a strong archer, Hou Yi, succeeded in shooting down 9 of the suns. As his reward, the Heavenly Queen Mother gave Hou Yi the Eli__ir of Immortality .But his wife, Chang-E drank it. Then she became the Moon Fairy. Thus started the legend of the lady in the moon to whom young Chinese girls would pray and people would sacrifice at the Mid-Autumn Festival.Referred to legends, there is another one I want to share with all of you. During the Yuan Dynasty, China was ruled by the Mongolian people. The king of them was very cruel. An underground group led by Zhu Yuanzhang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message. When the cake was opened and the message read, an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. What followed was the establishment of the Ming Dynasty. Today, moon cakes are eaten to commemorate this event.Wow! How clever he is! In my hometown lies in the Minnan area, there is a custom in Mid-Autumn Festival called Moon-cake gambling. All the game requires are si__ dice and a china bowl. Just throw the dice into the bowl and the different pips you get stand for different ranks of awards you will win.The activity was invented by Zheng Chenggong to help relieve homesickness among his troops during Mid-Autumn Festival. Now, __iamen people still believe that the person, who wins "Zhuangyuan" in the game, will have good luck that year. And the Mid-Autumn Festival is the second important holiday in __iamen besides Spring Festival.Sounds interesting! The winner of Moon-cake gambling can taste delicious moon cakes! I usually looked forward to the Mid-Autumn Festival during childhood because I could eat various tastes of moon cakes. The custom of eating moon cakes appeared in the Tang Dynasty.Ancient moon cake was eaten as a sacrifice 祭品in the Mid-Autumn Festival. Due to the passage of time, the moon cake has been changed into the Mid-Autumn Festival’s food and gifts. Inthe enening, family members worship the moon, and then the housewife cut moon cake by the members of the family. Who shares moon cake more averagely, who will have more good luck.I also enjoy moon cakes. It is believed that the moon is at her brightest on this night. The round shape of moon cakes symbolizes not only the moon but also the unity of the family.By the way, e__cept moon cakes, I also hear that in Taiwan, barbecuing meat outdoors has become a widespread way to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Different areas celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in different ways, but the wishes of enjoying the moon and getting together with families are the same.As the moon rises, we share it at the same time no matter we are together or far apart. That’s all. Thank you for listening.关于节日英语主题演讲3Dear leaders, headteacher Yang , headerteacher Li, all the teachers, all the parents, fellow students, and people of our hometown. Chinese traditional festivals
As we know, we have lots of festivals, such as Spring Festival(春节), Lantern Festival(元宵节), Tomb-Sweeping Day(清明节), Dragon Boat Festival(端午节), Mid-Autumn (Moon)Festival(中秋节), Double-ninth Day(重阳节), New Year's Eve(除夕)and so on.
As for me, I like New Year's Eve the most, because only in that day can I take a party for all of my friends. We talk with each other sincerely, and we drink heartily(尽情地)。

I enjoy this process very much。

Between Chinese traditional festivals and Western festivals, I prefer the The former. Because Chinese festivals Contain our traditional culture, we must Inherit and develop(继承和发展) it.
Recently, more and more Chinese would rather to celebrate the Foreign festivals, such as Christmas Day, Easter(复活节),Thanksgiving(感恩节),Saint Valentine's Day(情人节),Halloween(万圣节)and so on .
I think Christmas Day would not replace our Spring Festival. Because Spring Festival is our culture and Era of faith(信仰).
In order to protect and develop our traditional festivals, I think
government should take more steps to draw people’s attention. For example, give people more Vacation in traditional festivals and pay attention to traditional culture education
