Interpretation of Lesson 1 A Perfect Day?Part 1 Teaching Material:The basic topic of this unit is “lifestyles”.Lesson1 plays an important part in this unit. The articles ‘titles are that “A couch potato”and “A workaholic”. These two articles present completely different lifestyles. There are two pictures to stir students’ interest. The first article is talking about one person who spends too much time watching TV. The second article is related with the other person who is always working from morning to night. After reading, we all know that one person is a couch potato;the other person is a workaholic.Writing purpose is that: Tell the readers these two kinds of lifestyle are unhealthy. Try to make the readers pay attention to healthy lifestyle and lead a rich life.Teaching aims1.Knowledge aims:The Ss can remember and use the topic vocabulary and topic sentences.2.Ability aims:Enable the students to understand specific information while reading.Enable the students to work out the meaning of important words from the context.Enable the students to Present Simple and Present Continuous.3.Emotional aims:Help the students have an idea that we should lead a healthy life.Teaching focus:A. Let the Ss know more about life while they are learning English. As a guide, teacher should make the Ss use English freely and correctly. And combine the language structures with language functions.Finally, student-centered teaching method, free discussion, individual work, pair work, group work. Fast-reading, careful-reading, and presentation.Part 3: Learning methods:The Ss do not often use English to express themselves and communicate with others. Some Ss are not active in the class, because they are afraid of making mistakes. Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. Ss understand the new knowledge in certain degree through the mental process of seeing, hearing, saying, observing, imagining, thinking etc. So let Ss make preparations for completing the new study task.After feeling and comprehending the language points, let Ss obtain the knowledge actively by cooperative study. A Perfect Day说课稿尊敬的各位评委老师:大家上午好!我是06号选手张悦。

我今天的说课内容是北师大版高中英语必修一第一单元第一课A Perfect Day。

下面我将从教材、教法、学法、教学程序和板书设计和教学反思这六个方面来展开我的说课。

首先,我来说一下教材分析及其处理,本课为北师大版高中英语必修一第一单元第一课。

本单元主题为lifestyles”,而本节课主要任务是阅读题为A Perfect Day的文章,本文介绍了我们日常生活中的两种不同的基本生活方式---懒人生活和工作狂生活。

本课时是本单元的第一课时,课型是阅读型课,也希望通过对这节课的学习能够启发学生应该拥有健康的生活方式和如何拥有健康的生活方式。

本篇文章在本单元中占有重要地位。

通过对本篇文章的学习,学生能够提高他们的阅读能力,并掌握如何用英语表达生活习惯,这对本单元后面围绕这个主题所开展的听说读写很重要。

本课的教学对象是高一学生,他们是刚刚升入高中的学生,因为三年的初中基础,他们已经具有一定的英语语言基础和思辨能力,绝大多数同学对英语学习兴趣较为浓厚,好奇心及学习动机也比较强。

但是,在英语口语交际能力方面,由于英语口语基础薄弱,课上又害怕开口说英语,缺乏自信心,所以口语交际能力相对较弱,因此教师应当时刻鼓励学生利用每个机会说英语,以达到锻炼口语的目的。

另外,高一学生对于阅读策略如skimming and scanning的运用还很欠缺,老师需要充分利用课堂时间对此进行针对性的指导和训练关于本课的教学目标,根据新课标的课程理念,通过听说读写的训练,使学生获得英语基础知识和运用英语的能力,激发学生的学习兴趣,为进一步学习打下良好的基础。

因此,知识与能力、过程与方法、情感态度价值观这三个方面确立以下三个目标:1、知识与能力目标::让学生学习并掌握本课的重难点词汇及词组;让学生掌握skimming and scanning这种阅读技能,让他们能够快速从文章中提取有效信息;让学生通过对本文的学习能够运用所学语言知识用自己的话描述他人或者自己的生活方式。

二.教材分析:本节课属于阅读课,主要谈到了现代社会典型的两种人couch potato 和workaholic 的不同生活方式。

话题是学生所熟悉的,要通过阅读这两篇短文,启发学生思考什么才是健康的生活方式以及怎样改善他们现有的生活方式。

本单元主题为lifestyles”,而本节课主要任务是阅读题为A Perfect Day的文章,本文介绍了我们日常生活中的两种不同的基本生活方式---懒人生活和工作狂生活。

本课时是本单元的第一课时,课型是阅读型课,也希望通过对这节课的学习能够启发学生应该拥有健康的生活方式和如何拥有健康的生活方式。

本篇文章在本单元中占有重要地位。

通过对本篇文章的学习,学生能够提高他们的阅读能力,并掌握如何用英语表达生活习惯,这对本单元后面围绕这个主题所开展的听说读写很重要。

[学情分析]他们是刚刚升入高中的学生,因为三年的初中基础,他们已经具有一定的英语语言基础和思辨能力,绝大多数同学对英语学习兴趣较为浓厚,好奇心及学习动机也比较强。

但是,在英语口语交际能力方面,由于英语口语基础薄弱,课上又害怕开口说英语,缺乏自信心,所以口语交际能力相对较弱,因此教师应当时刻鼓励学生利用每个机会说英语,以达到锻炼口语的目的。

另外,高一学生对于阅读策略如skimming and scanning的运用还很欠缺,老师需要充分利用课堂时间对此进行针对性的指导和训练[教学目标]根据新课标的课程理念,我从知识与能力、过程与方法、情感态度价值观这三个方面确立以下三个目标:1、知识与能力目标::让学生学习并掌握本课的重难点词汇及词组;让学生掌握skimming and scanning这种阅读技能,让他们能够快速从文章中提取有效信息;让学生通过对本文的学习能够运用所学语言知识用自己的话描述他人或者自己的生活方式。

2、过程与方法目标:通过感知、品悟、探究、拓展等活动过程提高学生创造性思维能力和口语表达能力,培养学生学习能力;通过自主学习、合作交流,体会自主与合作的过程方法。

II. Read to learn (读中)1.Fast-reading1) 学生快速阅读课文,检查自己的预测。

2) 根据教材上所设计的两个问题(Exercise3)的要求,将相应的信息划出来。

2.Intensive reading1) 就两篇短文设计几个问题引导学生回答,让学生对课文内容细节有所理解。

2) 请学生就这两个人的生活方式作一比较,找出各自的优点和缺点,并说出自己的理由,这是在理解课文的基础上作一拔高,是对课文的概括。

III. Voice your opinion / Homework (读后)此部分设计了两个开放性题目,鼓励学生把课文中所学到的与现实生活相结合,分组讨论。

说课稿
叶老师、各位同学:
大家好!我今天的说课内容是北师大版高中英语必修一第一单元Lifestyle中的第一课A Perfect Day,完美的一天。

下面我将从教材、学情、教学目标、教学重难点、教法和学法、教学程序、作业布置和板书设计和七个方面来展开我的说课。

一、教材分析
本单元的主题是“生活方式”,涉及到的话题有:不同的生活方式、怎样放松、怎样选择生活方式等等。

这些话题的学习使学生从不同的侧面了解到生活方式的内涵。

本课安排了对两种不同生活方式的学习,介绍了生活中比较普遍的两种生活方式,同学们对其中的生活会有比较深刻的亲身体验,在课堂上会有话可说,有感可发。

本课中包含两篇文章,分别介绍了一种完全放松的生活方式和一种终日忙于工作的生活方式。

文章阅读可以培养学生的阅读能力,且熟悉的题材有利于学生听力训练及文章理解,本课也提供了良好的口语与写作话题。

学完本课时,学生会展开一些思考,主动了解其他一些生活方式,以及健康正确的生活习惯。

本课时是本单元的第一课时,课型是英语阅读课,不仅在本单元占据主导地位,同时也是训练学生围绕本单元主题进行口头、笔头表达能力的良好素材。

二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是高一学生,经过三年的初中学习,他们已经具有一定的英语语言基础和思辨能力,部分同学对英语学习兴趣浓厚,但总体来说,学生运用英语进行交际活动的能力较弱,主动学习的动力不足。

同时,从这篇课文所涉及的内容来看,对学生还是有相当的吸引力和了解的欲望。

因此,在设计这堂课时,要着重从激发学生的兴趣出发,介绍有关的背景知识,给学生布置具有挑战的任务,让学生以话题(A Perfect Day)为素材进行讨论或口笔头描述,尤其是讨论有利于青少年人健康成长的行为习惯,使他们从活动中悟出这堂课的实质。

三、教学目标
关于本课的教学目标,根据新课标的课程理念,我从知识、能力、情感这三个方面确立以下三个目标:1.知识目标:让学生学习并掌握本单元所学词汇和短语;复习一般现在时和现在进行时的用法2.能力目标:1).锻炼口语,学会怎样去描述生活方式。

2).通过对课文的阅读,教师引导,学生自主探究与合作学习,提高阅读能力。

3.情感目标:在熟悉生活方式的基础上,提高学生的文化素质,培养青少年健康成长的行为习惯。

四、教学重难点
下面说说教学重难点的确立及其依据。

本课的教学重点是让学生掌握重点词汇和一般现在时和现在进行时的用法,提升阅读技能,如:快速提取文章中有效信息。

本课的教学难点思考我们日常生活中的生活习惯,以及提高我们的生活方式。

之所以确立上述的重难点,是基于如下考虑:高一学生对于词汇学习策略和阅读策略的运用还很欠缺,教师必须充分利用课堂时间对此进行针对性的指导和训练;而口语表达内容则需要学生对课文内容的准确把握和充分的语言组织能力,所以有不小的难度。

五、教法和学法
接下来是教法。

根据当前的教学改革尤其是课程改革的先进理念,以及高一学生的知识和能力水平,为达成前面所说的教学目标,我将采用以下教法:
一是直观演示法,这种教学方法是通过展示图片、音视频等让学生情绪高昂、智力振奋,从而激发其学习兴趣。

二是任务型阅读法,即让学生带着问题去阅读课文,学会提取课文中的有效信息;采用不同的阅读方式完成不同的阅读任务。

三是分组讨论法,通过布置小组活动,让学生有机会主动参与到课堂活动中来,高中新课标中明确指出“倡导自主、合作、探究”的学习方式,学生通过分组讨论,学会以合作的精神探究并解决问题。

因此,我认为,丰富而有趣的小组活动是让学生在实践中获得知识的有效途径。

以上是我在教学过程中运用到的教法,下面是学法,主要有三点:
一是自主学习法,二是互助合作法,三是小组讨论法。

在学法方面,我倡导学生主动去获得知识,而不是机械、被动地接受知识的灌入。

因此,要避免传统的满堂灌式教学,要让学生在学习中学会学习,善于学习。

因为自主和合作的探究方式方能充分激发学生的原有知识图式,使他们在思维不断的碰撞中升华对主题的理解。

六、教学程序
接下来是教学程序,依据学生为中心的教育理念,结合学生的实际情况,我设计了以下教学程序:
第一部分是warm-up。

在这一部分里,我会先在ppt上呈现许多关于电视节目的图片,激发学生的兴趣,让学生们开动脑筋进行口语表述,并引出本部分的生词。

这一部分的设计目的主要是让学生在轻松愉快的学习氛围中进入新单元的学习,而图片更是深化了学生的印象,有助于对单词的记忆。

第二部分是lead-in。

在这一部分,我会先提问学生一天花多少时间看电视,用单词描述PPT中两个人的生活方式。

第三部分是快速阅读,学生先快速阅读课文,回答课文练习中的简单题目,意在提升学生在课文中快速提取有效信息的能力。

第四部分是深入阅读,对文章理解的基础上回答课笨中的问答题。

第五部分是精讲课文,对课文大意和重要知识点、语言点进行讲解分析,引导学生梳理好每段意思,重点讲解被动语态。

七、作业布置和板书设计
在这一部分里,我会让学生完成课本8,9页的练习和让他们思考哪些事健康的行为习惯。

对于作业的布置,目的在于让他们巩固刚学的知识,及时消化和引发他们关于节日的更多探究和思考,培养他们的发散性思维。

教师不能只是单纯地教授学生知识,更重要的是教学生学会如何学习、如何思考。

通过此次备课,我深刻体会到引导和帮助学生在运用和交际过程中学习英语,会更容易把英语课上“好”上“活”。
