1.当时间状语是today, yesterday, tomorrow, tonight, tomorrow morning 等

There was a football match yesterday evening.

2.由this, that, these, those等构成的短语前

I’ll visit my parents this week.

3.由last, next修饰的名词作时间状语，常省略at, in, on

I saw him in the street last week.

4.在the day/week/month/year before/after之前

Where did you go the day before yesterday?

5.由every, each等表示频率的副词构成的短语前

Do you watch TV every day?

6.all +名词构成的短语前，all day, all the week, all the year

The girl was ill in bed all the week.

7.由one修饰的名词作时间状语时

One day, when I was on my way to school, I met an old lady.
