三年级语文下册习作二看图写话的英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Fun Day at the ZooLast Sunday, my family and I went to the amazing Beijing Zoo! My little brother and I were so excited because we love looking at all the different animals. When we first got there, we saw a huge sign with a map showing where all the animal exhibits were. The map looked really confusing with all the pathways going every which way, but my dad said he could figure it out.The first animals we saw were the giant pandas. They were so cute and fluffy! There were a few pandas munching on bamboo leaves while others were climbing around on the trees and rocks. My brother tried making panda noises to get their attention, but they just kept eating like they couldn't hear us. I wished one of them would have waved at us!Next we went to the monkey area which was really noisy. All the monkeys were screeching and hollering and jumping around like crazy. Some of them were playing together and wrestling onthe ground. Others were swing from branch to branch by their long tails. We thought it was hilarious when one mischievous monkey grabbed another monkey's banana right out of his hands! That poor monkey looked so sad when his snack was stolen. After that, we saw the huge elephants which are my favorite animals. They are so massive and strong, but also seem very gentle. We watched as the zookeepers gave them bushels of hay to munch on. The elephant calves were particularly cute, running around and playing together with their tiny trunks. At one point, a baby elephant sprayed himself with water from his trunk which made all the kids laugh. The reptile house was a little scary because some of those snakes and alligators look very dangerous! My brother and I hurried past the snake exhibit because we didn't like how they were slithering around sticking their tongues out. But the alligators were cool because they were just floating there lazily with their big jaws open, probably hoping for a snack to come swimming by.My brother's favorite animals were the roaring lions and tigers. Whenever the lions yawned and roared, he would roar back trying to sound just as fierce. The tigers were a beautifulorange color with thick striped fur. We saw one big tiger scratching his back against a tree trunk to groom himself. What I thought was most interesting were the strange animals I had never heard of before. Like these super tall birds called giraffes with extremely long necks! How do they hold their head up with a neck that long? And then there were these funny looking animals called warthogs that had huge jaws and tusks sticking out. We couldn't help but giggle at how ugly yet cute they looked shuffling around. After walking around for hours exploring all the amazing animals, we were getting pretty hot and sticky from sweating so much. My parents let us play in the water fountains for a little bit to cool off, which was really refreshing and fun. Once we had dried off, we stopped at the zoo gift shop to buy some souvenirs.I chose a cute plush panda bear to remember my awesome day.By the time we arrived back home, I was completely tuckered out from all the walking and excitement of seeing so many exotic creatures. I fell asleep as soon as I flopped onto the couch! Visiting the zoo was such a wonderful adventure, and I definitely want to go back again sometime soon. Maybe next time we can even ride an elephant or feed the giraffes! A kid can dream, right? I'll never forget how much fun I had at the amazing Beijing Zoo!篇2My Picture CompositionToday we had to do "Composition II: Picture Description" for our Chinese language homework. The picture showed some kids playing in a park on a sunny day. I'm going to try my best to describe everything I see in detail. At the top left of the picture, there is a big green tree with lots of leaves. The leaves look really fresh and healthy. Under the tree, I can see a little boy laying on the ground reading a book. He has on a red shirt and blue shorts. Reading outdoors on a nice day seems relaxing. To the right of the tree, there is a red slide and some other playground equipment. On the slide, a girl in a yellow dress is going down. She has her arms up like she's saying "Weeee!" Going down the slide looks fun. I hope she doesn't fall off at the bottom though!Next to the slide area, there is a little pond or lake. It has blue water and I can see the reflections of the clouds in the sky on the surface. Around the edge of the pond, there are some rocks and a few plants growing. Two little ducks are swimming in themiddle of the pond. I like ducks - they're cute when they bob their heads in the water as they swim.On the right side of the picture, there is a big open grassy area. On this grass, I can see several kids running around and playing. One boy is kicking a soccer ball. Another boy is flying a kite that's shaped like a bird. The kite is green and its long tail is blowing in the wind behind it. I've never flown a kite before but it looks hard to control. In the bottom right corner, there is a little snack stand or food stall. A smiling lady is inside giving out foods or drinks to the kids lined up in front of it. The kids look very happy to be getting their snacks. I wonder what kinds of tasty treats she's selling?Behind the snack stand, there are some picnic tables under a few more big green trees. At one of the tables, I can see a family having a picnic together. There's a mom, dad, and two kids. They have a picnic basket and look like they're eating sandwiches or something. Family picnics in the park are always nice on beautiful days like the one shown.Up in the bright blue sky, I can see some puffy white clouds. The sun is shining brightly too, which is why everyone's shadows are so dark on the ground. In the far background, I can make out some tall buildings which must be part of the city nearby. But the park itself feels naturally green and peaceful, away from the busyness of the city.Overall, the picture shows lots of fun activities kids can do at a park on a sunny day. Playing on playgrounds, swimming, flying kites, kicking soccer balls, having picnics, and just relaxing are all depicted. It looks like the perfect scene for kids to run around, enjoy nature, and make happy memories. I wish I could transport myself into that picture and spend the day playing there!I hope my description painted a decent picture in your mind of what the illustration looked like. Writing in such detail really makes you observe and appreciate all the small elements that come together to create a whole scene. Let me know if you need any clarification on particular parts of my description. I tried my best!篇3My Summer Vacation AdventuresThe last day of school finally came! I was so excited for summer vacation to start. No more waking up early, no more homework, and two whole months to relax and have fun. Myparents had some fun activities planned for our family over the break. The first week, we went to the countryside to visit my grandparents. They live in a small village a few hours away from the city. I always enjoy going there because it's so different from my life in the city. There are wide open spaces, fresh air, and lots of nature all around. As soon as we arrived, I rushed out to explore my grandparents' little farm. They have a vegetable garden, fruit trees, chickens, and even a couple of pigs! I love watching the chickens scatter around pecking at the ground. The pigs are kind of smelly but also really funny waddling around with their big bellies. My grandpa showed me how to feed them kitchen scraps over the fence. In the mornings, my grandma would send me out to the garden to pick fresh vegetables for our meals. I pulled up crisp radishes, snapped off green beans, and plucked juicy red tomatoes right off the vines. The vegetables tasted so amazing since they were just picked. Way better than the ones we buy at the grocery store! My favorite part was when my grandpa took me down to the stream behind their house. He taught me how to catch little fishand crayfish with a net. At first the crayfish pinched my fingers, but eventually I got the hang of it. We'd take our catches back up to the house and my grandma would make them into a delicious soup for dinner. I felt like a real farmer, being able to catch my own food right from nature. In the afternoons, I would run around the open fields near their house pretending to be a brave explorer. The grass was as tall as me in some spots! I had to use a big stick to blaze my own trails through the dense greenery. A few times I saw a snake slithering by, which made me jump but also fascinated me. There were so many critters around like grasshoppers, bees, and butterflies. My grandfather told me all their names and I tried to memorize them.At night after dinner, we would all sit outside and look at the thousands of bright stars you can't see in the city. My grandfather knew the names of all the constellations. He pointed out the Big Dipper, Orion's Belt, and other cool star patterns I never knew existed. It made me want to learn more about astronomy. The night sky in the countryside is magical. After a wonderful week on the farm, it was time to head back to our home in the city. I was sad to leave, but couldn't wait for our next summer adventure - a trip to the beach!A few days later, we drove for hours and hours until we finally arrived at the famous tropical beach town. I'd never seen the ocean in real life before, so I was incredibly excited. As we got closer, I could smell the salty sea air and feel the warm, humid breezes. When the blue-green waves finally came into view, my jaw dropped. The ocean seemed to stretch out forever, all the way to the horizon. Crashing white foamy waves rolled endlessly onto the golden sandy beach. I couldn't wait to jump in!We quickly checked into our beach rental and changed into our swimsuits. Mom applied a thick layer of sunscreen since the hot sun was blazing bright in the sky that day. Then we hurried down to dip our toes in the water. The sand was like soft warm powder between my toes. As a wave rushed up the shore, the cool, salty water splashed my legs. It felt so refreshing after being in the hot car for hours. I waded a little deeper until the waves were crashing against my waist. The push and pull of the water was exhilarating. Every once in a while a bigger wave would sneak up and completely drench me, making me shriek with delight. After playing in the waves for a while, we spread out our beach towels to work on our tans. I buried my dad's legs in thesand up to his knees for a laugh. He pretended to be trapped which was hilarious. Mom fell asleep catching some rays.In the late afternoon, the beach vendors came by selling fresh coconuts, mangoes, and other tropical snacks. We bought a couple coconuts and sipped the refreshing coconut water from a straw sticking out of the top. It was so delicious and helped us cool off from the intense heat. For dinner, we had an amazing seafood feast caught fresh that morning. We started with fried calamari and shrimp cocktail. Then we had broiled fish, buttery lobster tails, and even some grilled octopus to try. It was fun pulling apart the octopus tentacles with my fingers. The food was so flavorful and went perfectly with the ocean view at our table. After dinner, we walked along the beach as the sun was setting. The sky turned brilliant shades of orange, pink, and purple as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon. We even saw a few dolphins jumping gracefully in and out of the waves. I'd never seen anything more beautiful than that sunset on the beach.Back at our rental, we changed into warm clothes and walked along the beach boardwalk. There were countless stores, street food vendors, artists, musicians, games, and otherentertainment. We stopped for a snack of fresh churros coated in cinnamon sugar that were still hot and crispy from the fryer. They melted in my mouth and were the perfect sweet treat to end our first fun-filled day at the beach. For the rest of our trip, we spent tons of time swimming, building sandcastles, collecting seashells, and just relaxing in the warm tropical sun. I even took a surf lesson and was able to stand up on the board for a few seconds before wiping out into the waves. That trip to the beach will always be one of myall-time favorite summer memories.Too soon, our summer vacation was over and it was time to go back to school. As much as I complained about it during the year, I actually kind of missed school a little bit over the break. I missed seeing my friends every day and couldn't wait to tell them all about my awesome summer adventures! On the first day back, my teacher asked us to write about what we did over the summer. I had so many fun stories to choose from - fishing, stargazing, swimming in the ocean, trying new foods, and all the other exciting activities. Filling up the pages was no problem at all. I could have written a whole book about my summer! It was hard to fit in all the details of my adventures into just a short essay.Summer always goes by too fast, but this one was packed with so many incredible memories. From the quiet peacefulness of the countryside, to the lively energy of the beach, it was the ultimate summer for experiencing new things. Laying in bed that first night back home, I daydreamed about where we might travel for summer vacation next year. Maybe somewhere with mountains? Or a city in another country? I couldn't wait to have another memorable adventure. But for now, it was time to return to school, recharged and rested from the best summer break ever!。

三年级下册三单元习作英语作文看图华写一写全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Winter VacationThe bell rang for the last time before winter vacation. Yayyy! No more school for three whole weeks! I was so excited to sleep in late, play video games, and just relax. But first, we had a family trip planned. My mom, dad, brother and I were going to Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. I had been there once before when I was little, but I didn't remember much except for the cold and snow.We left bright and early one crisp December morning. The drive took forever - over 5 hours! I tried entertaining myself by reading comics, playing games on my tablet, and annoying my little brother. But it still felt like it took a bajillion years. Finally, we arrived at our cozy cabin rental near the lake. It was surrounded by towering pine trees coated in fluffy white snow. Icicles hung from the roof edges like frozen daggers. I could see my breath puffing out in little clouds. It looked like a winter wonderland! After unloading our tons of luggage and getting settled, we spent the first afternoon just exploring around the cabin. We had a blast trekking through the snowy woods, making snow angels, and pelting each other with snowballs. I attempted to build an igloo, but it kind of collapsed into a snowy mess. That night we visited the cute downtown area of Lake Placid. We walked along the main street admiring all the twinkling lights and decorations. In the town square there was an outdoor ice skating rink surrounded by little shops and restaurants. We sipped hot chocolate to warm our frozen fingers and toes. The next day, we went cross-country skiing for the first time.I had a tough time at first, constantly falling over and getting all tangled up. But after a while I started getting the hang of those skinny skis. We glided along trails winding through the forest, soft snow crunching beneath us. We saw a family of deer grazing and stopped to watch them for a while. Their tails twitched as they munched on plants peeking through the snow. It was so peaceful and quiet out there. In the afternoon, we went tubing at one of the ski resorts in the area. We rode these huge rubber inner tubes down a lift to the top of a big snowy hill, then hung on for dear life as we went zooming back down. Some of the turns whipped me around sofast, I thought I might fly off into a snowbank! My cheeks stung from the cold air. But it was an absolute blast. One evening we went on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. We all bundled up in blankets and sipped hot apple cider, clip-clopping along a trail lined with glowing lanterns. Our horse's name was Buddy and he was great, plodding along through the snow. At one point, the sleigh went over a little hill and we slid down the other side, whooshing through the snow with a spray of white powder. So fun!Another highlight was trying our hand at building an awesome snow fort. We spent hours sculpting and packing the snow, making turrets, windows, tunnels and a little courtyard area in the center. We had an epic snow battle, ducking behind our snowy ramparts as we hurled snowballs back and forth. I was patching up a hole where my brother had scored a direct hit when suddenly, WHAP! A gigantic snowball exploded right in my face, courtesy of my dad. That snow was so powdery, I could hardly breathe for coughing! After a few days of snowy adventures, we spent a day visiting the Olympic sites in Lake Placid. It was really cool seeing the downhill ski jump, bobsled track, ice arenas and other places where the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics were held. I climbedup the stairs to stand at the very top of the 120-meter ski jump tower. Looking down that insanely steep run made me so queasy! Those skiers must have boulder-sized guts to launch themselves off that thing at 60 mph. No thank you!We ended up our trip with a lovely horse-drawn carriage ride through the snowy woods and fields. I got a little sleepy with the gentle swaying and jingle of the horse's harness bells. As we rode back towards the stables, I saw the most beautiful sunset spreading vibrant pinks, oranges and purples across the sky. What a perfect way to end our winter adventure!I had such an incredible time on our Lake Placid vacation. I never imagined doing篇2Unit 3 Writing Assignment: Look at the Picture and WriteHi! My name is Emily and I'm a 3rd grader. For our Unit 3 writing assignment, we had to look at a picture and write a story about it. The picture showed a group of kids playing in a park on a sunny day. Here is what I wrote:A Sunny Day at the ParkIt was a beautiful spring day and the warm sun was shining brightly in the sky. The birds were singing cheerfully as they flew from tree to tree. I could hear the sounds of kids laughing and having fun coming from the park down the street. "Mom, can I please go play at the park?" I asked excitedly."Sure, but be back before dinner," she replied with a smile. I gave her a quick hug, grabbed my soccer ball, and rushed out the door towards the park.As I got closer, I could see there were already a bunch of other kids there playing on the swings, slides, and other equipment. A group of older boys were kicking a football back and forth on the grassy field. I spotted my best friend Jack near the swingsets. "Jack, over here!" I shouted, waving to get his attention.Jack's face lit up when he saw me. We've been neighbors and best buds since we were little kids in diapers. "Hey Emily, thank goodness you're here. I was just about to leave because I was getting bored playing alone," he said. Jack grabbed his baseball mitt and bat from the ground."No way, the fun is just getting started! Let's have a game of catch," I suggested. Jack tossed me the ball and I threw it back harder than I intended, causing it to sail over his head. "Oops, sorry about that!" We both laughed as he chased after the ball. That's how we spent the next hour, just tossing the ball back and forth and joking around like we always do.Eventually, we got tired so we took a break under the big oak tree. I was working up a thirst from all that playing. "Want to go get some lemonade from the snack stand?" Jack asked, apparently reading my mind. We got lined up to purchase our cold drinks. While we were waiting in line, I saw two girls our age named Sophia and Emma that are in our class at school. They were giggling and whispering something to each other as they glanced our way. Uh oh, I thought, here we go again with those two. You see, Sophia and Emma are good friends, but they can also be a couple of goof-balls sometimes. They're always pulling little pranks and picking on other kids for laughs.Sure enough, after Jack paid for our lemonades, Sophia stuck her foot out at the last second and tripped him up as he turned around. His lemonade went flying all over the front of his shirt! "Hey, what's the big idea?!" Jack said angrily as the two girls burst out laughing. I couldn't help but laugh a little too at the silly situation, even though I felt bad for my best friend having his drink spilled like that.Jack shot me a look like he couldn't believe I was laughing at his misfortune. "Oh lighten up, Jack! It was just a goofy prank. No real harm done," I said, trying to keep the mood light. "Here, take mine. I'll go get another one."He begrudgingly accepted my lemonade while I went and bought a new cup for myself. When I got back, Jack had calmed down and even managed to crack a smile about the whole thing. "Yeah, I guess it was kind of silly when you think about it. Good thing I always keep an extra shirt in my backpack for situations like this!" He reached into his pack and pulled out a clean, dry shirt to change into.We spent the rest of the beautiful afternoon taking turns batting some pitches, climbing on the monkey bars, and just generally enjoying being a couple of kids on summer break. We even made a new friend named Miguel who showed us some neat magic tricks using a deck of cards!Eventually, Mom called me on my phone to say it was getting close to dinner time, so regrettably I had to say goodbye to Jack and Miguel. As I walked home, I reflected on what an awesome day at the park it had been. Between the warm sunshine, fun games with friends, and even a silly prank here and there to keep things interesting, it was certainly a great way tospend an afternoon. I couldn't wait to go back to the park again tomorrow! The EndWell, that's my story based on the picture for our writing assignment! I tried to describe all the fun things kids might do at the park on a nice day. I included details about playing sports, hanging out under the trees, getting snacks, and even a classic prank between some of the character friends. Overall, I had a good time using my imagination to come up with this lighthearted tale of childhood summer adventures. Writing can be challenging sometimes, but it's also a lot of fun! I hope you enjoyed my story. Thanks for reading!篇3Unit 3 Picture CompositionWow, I'm really excited to write about the fun pictures in Unit 3 of our English book this semester! There are so many cool scenes to look at and describe. I'll do my best to use all the vocabulary and grammar we've learned so far.The first picture shows a lively park scene. I see lots of people engaged in different activities. In the foreground, there is a young boy riding his bicycle on the paved path. He is wearing ared shirt, blue shorts, and a helmet to stay safe. Just behind him, a father is pushing a baby stroller with his daughter inside. The baby looks happy and is wearing a sun hat.Off to the side of the path, there is a large grassy area where some kids are playing catch with a frisbee. The frisbee is soaring high in the air! Under the shade of a big tree, I can make out an elderly couple sitting on a park bench. The old man has a newspaper and seems to be reading out loud to his wife. How sweet! In the background, I notice a lot of tall buildings surrounding the park. They look like apartment complexes where many families must live nearby to enjoy this outdoor space. I also spot a hotdog vendor's cart, sending up a stream of smoke. It makes me hungry just looking at it! Someone should buy a hotdog from that vendor. The next picture looks like a family's living room during the holidays. Front and center is a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, with lots of ornaments, tinsel, and lights. Underneath the tree, I count at least a dozen wrapped present boxes in different sizes and colorful wrapping paper. I'll bet those gifts are for the kids!Sitting on the couch are who I imagine to be the parents, a mom and dad, watching their two children excitedly unwrapping presents. One child, a girl with pigtails, is holding up a new doll and smiling big. Her brother, wearing pajamas with a rocket ship pattern, is ripping the paper off a box which looks like it might contain a model car kit or race track.Off to the side of this scene, I can see a burning fireplace with hanging stockings above the mantle. On the coffee table are some plates with a few remaining Christmas cookies crumbs.I wish I could reach into the picture and try one of those cookies! This looks like such a joyful family celebration. The last picture shows a classroom setting that looks very familiar. I recognize those small desks and chairs from my own school. There are maps, charts, and artwork hung up all around the walls just like in my classroom too.At the front, I see a friendly-looking teacher writing on the chalkboard behind her desk. She is wearing a nice dress and shoes like all teachers do. In the rows of desks, I count about twenty students who all seem to be working quietly at their desks. A few have their hands up, maybe because they have a question or want to answer something. On the desk nearest the front, I notice a glass fishbowl with two goldfish swimming around inside. I'll bet the class pet belongs to that classroom and the students take turns caring for it. I would love to have a classroom pet like that! Overall, this picture reminds me of just a typical day at school for me and my classmates.Well, that's my attempt at describing the three pictures from Unit 3 as best I could. I tried to use lots of descriptive words to paint a clear picture in your mind of what I saw. Describing things in detail really helps practice my English vocabulary and observation skills. I hope my writing captures the fun, heartwarming scenes from these images. Thanks for reading my picture composition!。

三年级二单元英语作文《看图写话》范文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Picture is Worth a Thousand WordsWhen my teacher told us we had to write a "picture composition" for our English assignment, I wasn't sure what that meant at first. But then she explained that we had to look at a picture and write a story about what we saw happening in the picture. That sounded like fun!The picture she showed us had a boy and a girl in it. The boy was wearing a red shirt and blue shorts. The girl had a yellow dress on with white polka dots. They were both smiling really big and looked very happy. Behind them there was a huge treehouse! It looked like the coolest treehouse ever. It had multiple levels, a slide, a rock climbing wall, and even a zipline attached to it. There were also swings and a seesaw in the backyard area.Just looking at that picture, I could imagine all sorts of adventures the boy and girl must have in that amazing backyard treehouse hideaway. I raised my hand and asked my teacher,"Are we supposed to make up a story about what the kids might do and pretend in the treehouse?""Exactly!" she replied. "Use your imagination and creativity to write an exciting story about those two children and their treehouse adventures."So that's what I decided to do for my picture composition assignment. Here is the story I came up with:The Treehouse ExplorersJohn and Emily were best friends who lived next door to each other. Their backyards were connected and right in the middle was the coolest treehouse ever built. John's dad and Emily's dad had worked really hard all last summer to build the amazing multi-level treehouse, complete with swings, a slide, a climbing wall, and even a zipline! As soon as the construction was done, John and Emily spent practically every waking hour playing in the treehouse. To them, it wasn't just a backyard playset—it was their secret basecamp for adventures and exploration. One morning, John called Emily bright and early. "Emily! Come over quickly. I have an idea for our biggest expedition yet!"Emily rushed through the path connecting their yards, climbing up the rope ladder and into the treehouse's bottom level where John was waiting. "What's the big idea?" she asked excitedly.John grinned and unrolled an old tattered map onto the floor. "Last night, I overheard my dad telling my mom that he uncovered an ancient treasure map when he was a kid! He said it showed the way to...a pirate's buried treasure"Emily gasped. "No way! Are you making this up?""I'm totally serious," John insisted. "And according to the map, the treasure is buried somewhere... IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!"The two friends looked at each other with wide eyes, then back down at the yellowed map. After studying the map's details, Emily pointed at a big red 'X'. "So this must be where the pirate treasure is hidden!"John nodded in agreement. "Which means...WE have to go find it before anyone else does!"From then on, John and Emily spent all their free time working to decipher the scrambled clues and objects drawn on the treasure map. They mapped out the whole neighborhoodfrom the treehouse hideout, discussing various plants, buildings, and landmarks that could match up with the map. They stocked up on supplies like flashlights, binoculars, climbing rope, and trail mix for energy. They made explorers' vests and used sticks as pretend walking sticks. Most importantly, they made sure to keep their top-secret treasure hunt mission completely undercover. It was just too risky to let any adults know what they were up to!Finally, after many days of planning and strategizing from the treehouse basecamp, John and Emily decided they had solved the whole map. They packed their knapsacks and set off on their treasure hunting adventure, venturing forth from the safety of the treehouse into the great unknown of their neighborhood streets.I don't want to give away the whole story in case you want to read further adventures of John and Emily and the treasure hunt another time. But I'll give you a few hints: Their quest involved getting chalk footprint clues at the park, swinging across a ravine on a loose board, trekking through the woods, and a terrifying encounter with the neighbor's pet lizard who turned out to be guarding the treasure at the end! Let's just say John and Emily'sfriendship and courage was put to the ultimate test, but the treasure was well worth their efforts. After that big adventure, John and Emily continued going on amazing pretend expeditions and missions from their treehouse basecamp almost every day that summer. Thanks to their incredible backyard treehouse and wild imaginations, they got to live out action-packed escapades, become explorers and treasure hunters, and create memories that would last a lifetime. What could be better than that? A treehouse really is the ultimate dream for a kid. It lets you ship off to magical places without even leaving your backyard. And with a best friend by your side, you can embark on any adventure your mind can dream up—diving for buried riches one day, blasting off into outer space the next. That's the true spirit of childhood!篇2A Fun Day at the ParkLast Saturday was a really fun day! My mom and dad said we were going to go to the big park near our house. I was super excited because I love going to the park to play on the swings, slides, and other fun stuff. When we got to the park, I saw that it was really crowded with lots of other kids and families there too. The playground area had a huge jungle gym with lots of tunnels, bridges, and places to climb. There were several swingsets with regular swings as well as tire swings. And the biggest slide I had ever seen! It was a twisty tube slide that was at least three stories tall.I ran over to get in line for the big slide first. The line was pretty long, but I didn't mind waiting my turn because I could watch everyone shooting out the bottom of the slide and tumbling onto the rubber ground covering. It looked like so much fun! When I finally made it to the top after what felt like forever, I got a little nervous because it was so high up. But then I went for it and pushed myself into the tunnel. It was dark inside and I could hear my voice echoing as I yelled in excitement going around the twists and turns. Then I shot out the bottom and landed rolling over and over on the rubbery ground. What a rush!Next I went over to the swings. There were normal belt swings as well as some shaped like horses, vehicles, and even a rocket ship! I tried out a few different ones, pumping my legs to go higher and higher. When you swing really high it feels like you're flying through the air. I was having a blast until my momcalled me over because she had brought picnic supplies from our car.We found a nice shaded spot and set out our blanket. Mom had made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (my favorite!), carrot sticks, apple slices, and even a thermos of hot chocolate since it was a bit chilly out. We ate our yummy food while watching other kids and families playing nearby. After our picnic lunch, I decided to check out the jungle gym. All the tunnels, climbing nets, bridges, and obstacles looked like so much fun to explore. I crawled through tube tunnels, climbed up rope netting, walked across wobbly bridges, and generally just had a great time scampering around like a monkey!I took a break from all the climbing to try out some of the other activities at the park. There was an area with Double Dutch jump ropes that some older kids had set up. It looked really tricky, but they showed me how to turn the ropes and let me try jumping in a few times before I got tangled up. I'll have to keep practicing that one! There was also a section with permanent hopscotch, four square, and other ground games marked out on the pavement. As I was hopping around the hopscotch court, I noticed an area that had lots of wood chips and equipment set up likebulldozers, dump trucks, shovels, and rakes. It looked like a construction zone for kids! I rushed over to check it out. You could use the shovels and rakes to move the wood chips around and load them into the toy trucks. Some kids had even built little roads, ramps, and structures out of the chips and trucks. I joined in, helping to build a big pile that we could knock down again and move around. We spent a long time in the construction area until my dad came to tell me it was time to go home soon.On our way out of the park, we passed by the open grassy area where I saw some kids playing frisbee, kicking a soccer ball around, and just running free. I told my parents I wanted to try that next time because it looked really fun to have all that room to run around.By the time we made it back to our car, I was completely tuckered out from all the playing. My face was red, my clothes were ruffled and dirty, and I felt like I could sleep fordays. But it was totally worth it because I had an awesome day at the park! I can't wait to go back again soon.篇3Picture CompositionHi everyone! For our English class this week, we had to write a picture composition essay. That means we got a picture and had to write a story about what was happening in the picture. I thought it would be really hard, but it was actually kind of fun once I got started! The picture we had to write about showed a family at the airport. There was a mom, a dad, a big brother, a little sister, and even a dog! They all looked really excited. The mom and dad were holding suitcases and the kids had little backpacks. Even the dog had a little travel bag! Here's the story I wrote about the picture:The Summer Vacation AdventureIt was finally summer vacation and the Wilson family was headed on a big adventure! Mom, Dad, Michael, Emma, and their dog Rufus were all packed up and at the airport, ready to go."I can't believe we're finally going to Hawaii!" shouted Michael, who was 10 years old. "This is going to be the best summer ever!""Yeah, no more school for two whole months!" said Emma, who was 7. She was holding her stuffed bunny rabbit that she took everywhere.Mom and Dad had been planning this trip to Hawaii for months. It would be their first real family vacation in years since Mom and Dad were always so busy with work."Okay troops, let's go check in and get through security," said Dad. "We don't want to miss our flight!"They got in the long line to check their bags and get their boarding passes. Michael and Emma had never been on a real trip before, so they were super excited. Finally, they got through security and were waiting at their gate to board the plane. Michael and Emma's eyes went wide when they saw how massive the plane was through the window."Wow, we're really going to get to fly on that?" asked Emma."Sure are, peanut!" Dad replied with a smile. "You two are going to be pros after this trip."Soon it was time to get on the plane. They walked through the jet bridge and found their seats. Michael and Emma had never been inside a plane before."This is so cool!" Michael shouted. "Emma, look, there's a TV screen on the back of every seat!"They got buckled in and waited for takeoff with huge grins on their faces. A few minutes later, the plane started accelerating down the runway and then...lift off! They were flying for the very first time. After what felt like a whole day of being stuck in a plane, they finally arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii. Michael and Emma's faces were glued to the window as they descended, looking at the bright blue ocean and beautiful green mountains. When they got off the plane, the warm Hawaiian air and floral smells hit them right away."This place already smells a million times better than back home!" said Michael. They collected their bags and went outside to get their rental car. Dad had booked them a suite at a huge beach resort right on the ocean. When they finally got to the hotel, they couldn't believe their eyes...That's all I have written so far, but I'll definitely keep working on it! I tried to add lots of details to describe what was happening in the picture and how excited the family must have been to go on vacation to Hawaii. I also tried to describe some ofthe experiences the kids might have had, like going through the airport and getting on a plane for the first time.I think writing picture compositions are a fun way to practice creative writing and storytelling skills. You really have to use your imagination to figure out what's going on in the picture and what might happen next. It was a little hard at first, but once I got into it, the story just started flowing. I can't wait to finish it and read it to the class!Well, that's my picture composition essay for this week. Writing stories is one of my favorite things to do in English class.I hope you enjoyed reading my sample essay! Let me know if you have any other questions.。

三年级看图写话节俭是美德的英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Thrift is a VirtueToday, Miss Johnson showed us some pictures about being thrifty and not wasteful. She asked us to write a composition about what we saw in the pictures and why it's important not to waste things. I'm going to try my best! The first picture showed a kid leaving the water running while brushing their teeth. Next to it was another picture of a kid turning off the faucet while they brushed. Miss Johnson said the first picture was wasting water and the second was being thrifty.Wasting water is bad because it's precious and we need it to live. If we run out, we can't drink it, shower with it, or use it for anything! Being thrifty with water is a virtue. That means it's a good quality that we should all try to have. The next set of pictures showed two families, one throwing away lots of uneaten food into the garbage and the other putting leftovers into containers to eat later. Miss Johnson saidwasting food is tomfoolery (that's a funny word she used!) but saving leftovers is thrifty. Not wasting food is important because millions of people don't have enough to eat. It's not fair for us to throw away good food when others are hungry. Being wasteful is selfish. My mom always makes me eat all my dinner before I can have dessert because she doesn't like wasting food. I don't like wasting it either after seeing those pictures. Then there were pictures of two bedrooms. One was really messy with clothes and toys everywhere. The other was nice and clean with everything put away. Miss Johnson said the messy room was untidy and wasteful, but the clean room showed thrift and taking care of belongings. If we're sloppy and reckless with our toys, clothes, and other stuff, they'll get ruined, broken, or lost. Then we've wasted the money our parents spent on getting us those things. It's thrifty to keep our rooms clean and take care of what we have so it lasts longer. My little brother is really messy but I try to keep my things neat. It's a virtue I'm working on.The last pictures showed two groups of kids. Some were ripping pages out of books, breaking crayons, and being destructive. The other group was using books, art supplies, andschool things properly and carefully. Miss Johnson said being careless and breaking things is wasteful, but taking care with possessions is virtuous thrift.Schools, libraries, and families have to keep buying new supplies when kids recklessly ruin and waste the materialsthey're given. If we all treated our school and personal things better, we could save a lot of money! Being thrifty by taking care with possessions is a virtue that helps everybody. I always try to not rip my books or break my crayons needlessly. After she showed us all the pictures, Miss Johnson said being thrifty by not wasting resources is a virtue, which means it's a good quality or value that makes you a better person. Wasting water, food, belongings, and materials is wrong because it's harmful, selfish, and disrespectful to the Earth and people who have less than you. Practicing thrift is virtuous.I'm going to really try my best to be thrifty from now on. I'll turn off faucets tightly, eat all my food, keep my room clean, and take care of my toys, books, and school supplies. Wasting is wrong but thrift is a virtue that makes you a decent human being. Maybe if everybody practiced thrift, there would be enough resources for everybody and less stuff getting ruined or going to waste. That would be true virtue!篇2Frugality is a VirtueMy mom always tells me that frugality is a virtue. At first, I didn't really understand what that meant. But after looking at the picture for this essay, I think I get it now.The picture shows two families - the Smiths and the Joneses. The Smiths look pretty happy. Mom, dad, and the two kids are all smiling. Their house is a cozy little place, but it's neat andwell-kept. Their car is an older model, but it looks like it runs just fine. Then you have the Joneses next door. Their house is huge - a total mansion! They have a few fancy cars parked out front too. But the weird thing is, none of the Joneses look very happy at all. The dad has a frown on his face, the mom looks tired and stressed, and the kid is throwing a tantrum on the ground. It's like the saying goes - "The Joneses are broke trying to keep up with the Joneses!" They spend all their money on big houses, nice cars, and lots of stuff. But it doesn't make them happier. If anything, it makes them more miserable because they are always wanting more, more, more. The Smiths clearly don't have as much money as the Joneses. But they seem to really appreciate what they do have. They take good care of their possessions and don't waste money on a bunch of junk they don't need. That's what my mom means by frugality - being careful with money and not spending it on unnecessary things.I see examples of frugality in my own life too. Like how my mom packs me a healthy, homemade lunch for school instead of wasting money on vending machine snacks or school lunches every day. Or how we don't go crazy buying new toys and video games, but instead really think about if we will actually use and enjoy them before spending money. My dad is frugal too. He's really good at fixing things around the house, like leaky faucets or broken door hinges, instead of calling an expensive repairman. He also saves energy by doing things like turning off lights when we leave a room. Every little bit of savings adds up over time!Another way my family practices frugality is by not wasting food. My mom meal preps lunches for the week and we always eat leftovers instead of letting food go bad. We also have a compost bin for fruit and veggie scraps instead of just throwingthem in the trash. It makes me kind of sad to see kids at school waste most of their lunch by throwing it away half-eaten.I'm lucky that my parents have taught me to be frugal from a young age. It's such an important virtue that will serve me well my whole life. When I'm grown up and have my own house and family, I want to live frugally and smartly like the Smiths - not wastefully like the Joneses.Being frugal doesn't mean you are poor or cheap. It just means you are wise with your money and resources. You spend on what truly matters, like healthy food, education, and experiences that make memories as a family. But you avoid wasting money on junk you don't need that just gets thrown away or collects dust.Sometimes kids at school make fun of me for not having all the latest toys, games, or clothes. They call me poor or say my parents are cheap. But I know that's not true at all! My family may not have a ton of money, but we are really rich in what matters most - love, happiness, and appreciating the simple things in life rather than material possessions.I feel bad for kids like the Jones kid who gets showered with endless new stuff. How could they ever really appreciate anything when the latest toy just gets tossed aside for the nextshiny thing? They are on a never-ending treadmill of always wanting more. That's not the road to happiness.True happiness comes from within - from spending quality time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies you're passionate about, and being grateful for what you have instead of constantly wanting more stuff. Frugality gives you freedom from the chains of endless consumerism and wasteful spending. As I get older, I hope to only get better at being frugal. I want to learn more handy skills from my dad like basic home repair, car maintenance, gardening, and cooking from scratch. Those frugal skills will save me so much money over my lifetime!I also hope to avoid traps like racking up credit card debt, taking out unnecessary loans, or signing myself up for overpriced subscriptions and memberships I'll never use.Overall, frugality is one of the most important virtues my parents have taught me. It has given my family a much better quality of life than if we were wasteful spenders like the Joneses. We may not have the biggest house or fanciest cars, but we are truly rich in what matters - quality time together, living within our means, and appreciating the simple joys in life. That's a legacy of frugality and wisdom I hope to pass on to my own kids someday.篇3Being Frugal is a VirtueHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 3rd grader. Today, I want to tell you all about why being frugal, which means not wasting money or resources, is really important and a good way to live.To start, let me describe a picture I saw recently. It showed two families - one that was frugal and one that was wasteful. The wasteful family had a huge fancy house with so many rooms they probably didn't even use them all. They had three big cars parked out front even though there were only four people in the family. And they were throwing away lots of half-eaten food and unopened packages into an overflowing trash can.But the frugal family looked so much happier to me! They lived in a smaller but still nice house that didn't have any extra unused space to heat and clean. They had just one car that they could all fit into. And they carefully sorted out recyclables and compostable materials instead of just throwing everything away. Their trash can was only about half full.Whenever I see examples like this, I think about how being frugal and avoiding waste is such a great way to live. Let me tell you some of the main reasons why I believe that:It saves money. This is probably the most obvious benefit of frugality. When you don't waste money on things you don't really need, you get to keep that money for the things that truly matter. The frugal family doesn't blow all their cash on a giant house and tons of cars, so they have more to spend on fun family activities, education, saving for the future, and helping others. It's better for the environment. Manufacturing all those extra possessions uses up natural resources from the planet and creates pollution. And sending tons of garbage to overstuffed landfills is just terrible for the air, ground, and water. The frugal lifestyle has a much lower environmental footprint. It prevents clutter and disorganization. With fewer unnecessary items around the house, everything stays neater and more organized. You always know where to find what you actually use and need. The frugal family's home looks peaceful instead of stuffed full of random junk.It teaches self-discipline and smart prioritizing. Being frugal means thinking carefully about what's truly worth spending your limited money and resources on rather than just impulsivelybuying any little thing you happen to want at the moment. It's about focusing on long-term needs over fleeting wants. Those are such useful skills to develop! It reduces stress and overcommitment. When you have a bunch of big houses, fancy cars, and mountains of possessions, you also get big utility bills, maintenance costs, insurance fees, and so on. The frugal family avoids piling too many financial and maintenance obligations on themselves, which keeps life simpler and lower stress. Those are some of the biggest benefits I see. But I also understand that living frugally isn't always easy. There are a few challenges:Sometimes it can feel like you're being deprived of things you want when your friends or others around you are buying all the latest toys, clothes, and gadgets. It can require a bit of willpower. There's also a balance to strike, as being too frugal or stingy can negatively impact your quality of life if taken to an extreme. You do still need to allow spending on important essentials. And frankly, living frugally means more responsibilities like repairing items instead of quickly replacing them, cooking fromscratch instead of always ordering out, and doing some manual labor like basic home repairs, yardwork, etc.Still, I really believe the benefits outweigh the challenges for most people. My family tries hard to live a frugal lifestyle, and I'm really glad they've taught me its importance from a young age. Here are some of the specific ways we practice frugality in our everyday lives:We plan out meals, make grocery lists, and avoid wasted food as much as we can.We buy secondhand clothing, toys, furniture, etc. whenever possible. We do lots of free/low-cost activities like hiking, going to parks/libraries, and having friends over instead of constantly paying for expensive entertainment. We save up and pay with cash instead of impulsively buying with credit. We do basic car maintenance and repairs ourselves when possible. We turn off lights/heating when leaving a room and air dry clothing instead of using machines. We avoid disposable items like paper plates/cups and pack reusable water bottles/containers.My parents make gifts and decorations instead of buying new ones each holiday season. Those are just a few examples, but you get the idea! Being frugal is a lifestyle and mindset that my family embraces. We're fortunate because it means we don't have a bunch of financial stress, we keep our home free of clutter, and we're helping the environment too.I really encourage everyone to think about ways they could incorporate a bit more frugality into their own lives. Start small if you need to, but over time it can make a huge positive difference! You'll have more money, less mess and stress, and the satisfaction of doing the right thing for the planet. What could be better than that? Thanks for reading, and remember - being frugal is definitely a virtue worth practicing!。

优美三年级下册地二单元的看图写话英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 2: A Trip to the CountrysideLast weekend, my family and I went on a fun trip to the countryside! We live in the city, so it was really exciting to get out and experience rural life for a couple of days.On Saturday morning, we packed up the car and hit the road. After driving for a while, the tall buildings and busy streets gave way to green fields, farms, and small villages. It was so peaceful and quiet compared to the noisy city. The fresh air smelled amazing! Our first stop was a little farm stay that we had booked. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly owners, Mr. and Mrs. Wang, and their adorable dog Buddy. They showed us to our cozy log cabin where we would be staying. It had a rustic wood interior with comfy beds and even a little fireplace!Right away, Mrs. Wang invited us to go see the farm animals. We followed her through the garden to the barn and animal pens. There were chickens clucking and pecking at the ground, searching for food. They looked so funny waddling around! The cows were very large and spotted. One even let me pet its soft nose. My little brother was most excited to see the pigs rolling around in the mud. They looked pretty messy but also really happy! After visiting the animals, the Wangs took us on a tour of their vegetable fields and fruit orchards. Everything looked so fresh and healthy growing there. Mr. Wang showed us how they use natural pest control instead of chemicals. We even got to pick some juicy strawberries right off the plants and eat them - they were delicious! For lunch, Mrs. Wang prepared us a wonderful farm-fresh meal. We had a salad made with greens and veggies from their garden, a hearty vegetable soup, crusty bread right from their oven, and glasses of cold, frothy milk from their cows. It was one of the tastiest and most nutritious meals I've ever had. The flavors were so pure and real compared to food from the store or restaurants. In the afternoon, we explored more of the countryside surroundings. We hiked up a grassy hill and took in the stunning panoramic views of the valley filled with farms, forests, and a little village in the distance. The sky was such a bright bluewithout any smog or haze. We even saw a few deer quietly grazing in the trees! As the sun started to set, we headed to a nearby pond for some fishing. The Wangs provided us with rods and bait, and we cast our lines into the still water, patiently waiting for a bite. My dad actually caught a few fish! We watched the colorful sunset reflect on the glassy surface as ducks quietly paddled by. It was such a serene, peaceful scene. That night, we had a campfire cookout right on the farm. Mr. Wang grilled up the fish along with some locally-grown corn and potatoes. We made s'mores for dessert and looked at the bright stars lighting up the night sky. I had never seen so many stars before - it was breathtaking. We listened to a nearby family of owls hooting to each other as we cozied up by the warm fire. The next morning before heading home, we went to explore the small town nearby. We strolled down the quiet main street lined with cute shops, cafes, and historic buildings with beautiful architecture. An elderly man sitting on a bench tipped his hat and smiled as we passed by. Everyone seemed so friendly and relaxed compared to our usually rushed city life. We stopped at a family-run bakery and got fresh-baked bread and pastries that were still warm from the oven. The smells were heavenly! On the drive back home, I gazed out the window at the passing scenery. The lush green fields, the farms with grazing animals, the little towns - it all seemed like a whole different world from our urban routine. I felt so refreshed and renewed from our weekend in the countryside.I loved experiencing rural life up close - the animals, the homegrown foods, the tranquil natural surroundings. It gave me a whole new appreciation for where our food comes from and how hard farmers work. I'll never take modern conveniences for granted, but I also realized the simple pleasures of life in the countryside. I hope we can go back again soon to escape the city rush! Even though city life is exciting, I now see the beauty of the peaceful, authentic charm of rural living as well.篇2My Summer VacationThe school bell rang loudly, signaling the end of another academic year. Excitement filled the air as my classmates and I rushed out of the classroom, leaving our books and worries behind. Summer vacation had finally arrived, and with it, endless possibilities for fun and adventure! As I stepped out of the school gates, the warm summer breeze caressed my face, carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers. The sun's golden rays danced upon the sidewalk, inviting me to explore the great outdoors. With a skip in my step, I made my way home, already dreaming of the exciting plans that lay ahead. The first few days of vacation were spent sleeping in late and lounging around the house, relishing the newfound freedom from early morning alarms and homework assignments. However, my restless spirit soon yearned for more thrilling adventures beyond the confines of my bedroom. One morning, my parents surprised me with a grand announcement – we were going on a family camping trip! My eyes grew wide with anticipation as I imagined the wonders that awaited us in the great outdoors. We packed our bags, loaded up the car, and set off on our adventure. The drive to the campsite was a scenic journey through winding roads and lush forests. As we approached our destination, the towering trees parted to reveal a breathtaking landscape – a pristine lake surrounded by majestic mountains. The fresh mountain air filled my lungs, and I could hardly contain my excitement.Upon arrival, we quickly set up our tent and gathered around the crackling campfire. The warm glow of the flames illuminated our faces as we roasted marshmallows and exchanged stories, laughter echoing through the peaceful woodland. The days that followed were filled with countless adventures. We hiked through meandering trails, marveling at the diverse flora and fauna that called this place home. The sight of a family of deer gracefully grazing in a nearby clearing left me in awe of nature's beauty. One afternoon, we decided to explore the crystal-clear lake. Donning our life jackets, we paddled our canoe across the tranquil waters, the gentle ripples reflecting the vibrant hues of the surrounding foliage. As we drifted along, we spotted a family of ducks gliding effortlessly across the surface, their little ones trailing behind in a delightful display of parental love.Evenings at the campsite were a time of pure bliss. We would gather around the campfire once more, gazing up at thestar-studded sky, and listening to the soothing melodies of nature's nocturnal symphony. The crackling of the fire, the hooting of owls, and the gentle rustling of leaves created a harmonious lullaby that lulled us into peaceful slumber. As the days passed, our camping adventure came to an end, but the memories we created would forever be etched in our hearts. The bond we shared as a family grew stronger, and I gained a newfound appreciation for the beauty and serenity of the great outdoors.Upon returning home, I found myself yearning for more adventures. My parents, sensing my enthusiasm, decided to take me on a weekend trip to the nearby beach. The salty air and the rhythmic crashing of waves against the shore filled me with a sense of tranquility. We spent our days building sandcastles, collecting seashells, and splashing in the cool, refreshing waters. As the sun began to set, we would gather on the beach, watching as the sky transformed into a breathtaking canvas of warm hues, painting the horizon with shades of orange, pink, and purple. As the summer days dwindled, I cherished every moment, knowing that soon it would be time to return to the classroom. However, the memories of our adventures would remain with me forever, serving as a reminder of the joy and wonder that summer vacation can bring. On the last day of vacation, I found myself reflecting on the incredible experiences I had shared with my family. The campingtrip had taught me to appreciate the beauty of nature and the importance of spending quality time together. The beach excursion had instilled in me a sense of tranquility and a newfound appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.As I packed away my summer belongings, I felt a bittersweet mixture of sadness and excitement. While I would miss the carefree days of summer, I looked forward to embarking on a new academic journey, armed with the precious memories and life lessons I had gained during these unforgettable months. With a heart full of gratitude and a mind brimming with stories to share, I eagerly awaited the first day of school, ready to greet my classmates and teachers with a radiant smile and a renewed zest for learning.篇3Unit 2: My TownWow, this unit is so exciting! We get to learn all about my hometown. My town is called Greendale and it's the best place ever. Let me tell you all about it.Greendale is a medium-sized town with around 50,000 people living here. It's not too big and not too small - just theperfect size in my opinion. We have everything we need without the town feeling crowded or busy like a huge city. The best part about Greendale is that it's so green and beautiful everywhere you look. We have tons of parks with big grassy areas for running around and playing games like frisbee and catch. My favorite park is Cedar Park because it has a awesome playground with swings, seesaws, monkey bars and even a big twisty slide! In the summer, they also have a small waterpark area with sprinklers to help you cool off.All the neighborhoods in Greendale have lots of huge old trees lining the streets. In the spring, the cherry blossom trees bloom pink and white flowers that are just gorgeous. And in the fall, the maple and oak trees turn brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow. Raking up all those leaves is hard work, but it's also fun to jump into the leaf piles! My house is a two-story blue house with a cute little porch out front where we can sit in nice weather. We have a big backyard too that's perfect for running around or setting up a badminton net. Sometimes in the summer we'll have a neighbourhood potluck barbeque back there and all the families will bring dishes to share.Another awesome thing about my town is Main Street. It has the cutest stores and restaurants along a couple of blocks right in the center of town. There's a yummy ice cream parlour that's been there since my grandparents were kids. They make these outstanding milkshakes and banana splits! Yum! There's also a toy store, a bookstore, some clothing boutiques, and a chocolatier that makes the richest fudge I've ever tasted.Right beside Main Street is the Town Square which has a pretty fountain in the middle. In the summer, the town sets up little bistro tables with umbrellas around the fountain and you can sit outside to eat your lunch or just relax. And at Christmas time, they decorate the whole square with thousands of twinkly lights and a huge tree. Santa even comes to take pictures in his sleigh! It looks like something straight out of a movie. On the edge of town, we have Greendale Lake which is awesome for swimming, boating and fishing in the nice weather months. The lake is surrounded by hiking trails through the woods too. My friends and I love to pack a picnic and spend summer days exploring and looking for cool bugs and animals. At night, we go back to catch fireflies in jars (but we always let them go again after!).I love my town so much and I feel really lucky to live here. It has everything a kid could want - places to play, yummy treats, beautiful nature, and lots of fun events happening all the time. Plus, all my best friends live nearby and we get to do everything together. Even though it's not a big city, Greendale is exciting and fun and has a special small town charm. I can't imagine living anywhere else!。
