编剧边写编拍,电视台一般也就预存两三集的电视剧用来播出,因此2007年10月份美国编剧大罢工时,各大电视台仅仅坚持了不到三周时间,就纷纷断炊了,很多当季的新剧不得不提前结束播出。

就目前来说中国电视剧每年大约有一万多集的庞大产量,即便如此,但其质量却也低得惊人。

看到这里,真心有点为我们国产剧的逐渐淡出感到了些担心,但是,担心之余更多的则是对目前这种现状的思考——究竟是什么原因导致了这一现象的产生。

现在外国电视剧看多了自然就想比较,当然比较的是咱中国电视剧到底差在哪里?看到韩剧画面精致,就说咱们电视剧不细腻。

看到美剧情节紧凑,就是咱们中国编剧不会写故事。

我看这都是表面现象,为什么人家画面精良,故事好看。

这里,我们就针对中美电视剧的差异做一个简单的对比。

首先,我觉得应该从两国电视剧的大众文化元素进行比较。

大家都知道中国的电视起步晚,因此我国电视文化的发展因主流文化、大众文化、精英文化错综复杂的关系以及人们对电视文化不准确的定位而受到影响。

恰恰相反的是美国是商业电视高度发达的国家,其对世界的电视体系都有着重大的影响,而且,世界上许多流行的电视节目都诞生于美国,如肥皂剧、情景喜剧、谈话节目等等。

另外它在电视节目的制作、商业运作、电视体系等方面都已经相当的成熟了。

其次,我们再来看看两国电视剧在制作周期,播出方式以及制作与收视要求方面的差异。

大题材电视剧则往往是给主人公一个目标,如救人,将他置于极度的危急情境之中,然后开始设置重重障碍来阻止主人公达到目的;在这种冲突和悬念的积累和前进中,观众的情绪一直在波浪式上扬;当冲突、悬念和观众的情绪都积累到饱和状态时,一集的高潮到来,本集的冲突和悬念得到解决,但每集结束前都会有下一冲突和悬念的暗示和提示,观众在心理释放过后又欲罢不能——《24小时》就是这样一个典型的例子。

主题策略:大美国主义和个人英雄主义美国很少有“宣传”一说,甚至忌讳这样的字眼;但不说“宣传”只为掩人耳目——好莱坞电影如此,美国电视剧也不例外。

行业剧作为当今制播数量不小的一种类型剧,学界一直没有给出明确的定义,在CCTV的视频分类中也未曾涉及行业剧这一类别。

然而,在同时期的美国,行业剧不仅受到大众的喜爱,在业界也获得了良好的口碑。

文章比照中美两国的行业剧,以其中最为典型的律政剧和医疗剧为例,探讨国产行业剧的不足及其发展策略。

中美电视剧叙事模式比较浅析中美电视剧叙事模式比较浅析山东有线电视中心李磊内容提要:电视剧是一种大众消费文化,在中国及西方的大众传媒中担任着重要的娱乐形式,做为一种与文学戏剧并列叙事艺术,中西方在电视剧的创作理念及结构元素上有很多共性,做为一种文化产业的核心产品,又因为思想传统及经济水平的差异而表现出不同的文化倾向。

本文试以比较文学的方法从叙事结构、叙事伦理以及新叙事学等多个向度考察当下中美电视剧的各自特点。

关键词:中美电视剧比较叙事分析电视剧在当今已经成为大众文化的主流消费品,要研究电视剧,不得不研究美国电视,因为“纵观当今世界,无论是电视技术,还是节目制作理念,美国都走在前列,有了自己一套比较完备,适合于实践操作的范式。

”(1)作为电视艺术门类之一的中美电视剧必定在美学风格上拥有共同之处,同时又受到不同文化背景的制约。

这使得中美电视剧的不同表现在了多个方面,其中叙事风格的差异最为明显,也是我们研究电视文化的基础环节。

同时随着信息时代的到来,大众的审美口味也在发生着不断的变化,反映在传媒上就是电视文化的更加快餐式和多样化,尤其是近年,数字化科技革新日新月异,技术与艺术的融合使电视剧在叙事上做着不断的调整。

一.叙事结构之比:当代叙事学属于结构主义美学,是符号学的一个分支,从托多罗夫创立叙事学那天起,叙事分析很大程度上就是在于对结构的归类与总结。

电视剧作为一种叙事艺术,在视听的基础上形成了许多独立性的结构特点。

而具体到中国和美国的电视剧,在宏观框架的基础上又体现出各自不同的方向。

中美对电视剧都有着不同的分类标准,或按题材分类、或按播出时间分类,本文采取叙事模式上将其分为系列剧和连续剧两警匪斗智斗勇,生活剧中多是以真实感取胜。

总的叙事模式是线性的,其中悬念剧在叙事模式上多采用期待式的,即开篇便告知了结果,故事的展开是如何实现这一结果。

最典型的是《征服》一剧,把刘华强的报复杀人放在第一集,余下了20集就是讲警察如何破案和犯罪分子为何做案了。

中美电视剧比较首先呢,不能完全否定中国的电视剧就全部是不好的,因为每个国家都有好的电视剧,也都有烂片。

但平心而论,中国的电视剧跟美国的电视剧还是有些差距的,这些无论是从电视剧来说,还是从观看着的评论里来看,都能明显看出。

中国的电视剧首先从资金的投入,画面的制作来看,与美国的电视剧还是有不少差距的。

就拿前一段时间非常热的美国电视剧《权利的游戏》来说,其资金的投入之巨大;演员的态度之认真,专业;特效的制作之宏大,壮阔和细腻,都是中国的电视剧所不可比拟的。

例如第二季中,黑水河之战役,可谓是最烧钱的战役。

为了拍好这个在原著小说中花了整整六章来描写的重要战役,导演,编剧,化妆,后期特效等各个部门都投入了大量的心血。

在拍摄第一季时,由于时间和资金的短缺,五王之战的首次对决,“绿叉河”之役以小恶魔的昏迷而一笔带过,这样的遗憾,让该剧的主创们对黑水河之役更加重视。

作为最烧钱的美剧之一,权利的游戏单集成本高达600万美元,而在拍摄黑水河之役前,主创人员不得不向HBO高层开口要更多地钱。

经过一番讨价还价后,HBO 高层最终决定再为这一集追加200万美元的投资。

而这一战役,也最终以800万美元的耗资成为了美剧史上最贵的一场战役。

为了更好的还原该场战役的精髓,力求给人以一种真实的战争之感,主创人员建造了一艘完全可以达到实际航行标准的14世纪风格战船,一个模拟黑水河的水箱和一段模拟君临城的城墙。

虽然是转为拍摄用的临时建筑,主创人员并未因此放松要求,君临城墙让经常要在绿屏前表演的演员们身临其境,也为这场战役增添了逼真的色彩。

在原著中,黑水河之役双方共投入超过十万人的兵力和250艘战船,但在实际拍摄中,这样规模大的人和船子只能依靠特效来完成,泰温▪兰尼斯特携骑兵抵达时,那一个其实恢弘,似有千军万马的慢镜头,令观众看到了绝处逢生的希望,而实际上,这一幕仅由七位演员拍摄完成。

同样的,斯坦尼斯登陆时密密麻麻的船子也源于特效的加持。

美国电视剧已在中国培养出一大批忠实的拥趸,“美剧”作为一种与时尚、小资情调等字眼纠结难分的文化娱乐形态,俨然已处于当下中国流行文化的风头浪尖。

但仔细审视之下,无论是从电视剧的类型、内容还是播出机制来看,中美两国的电视剧都存在着较大的差异。

一、商业电视与国家电视由于历史渊源和文化背景的不同,以商业运作为主流,以追求高收视率为最高原则的美国电视,与作为国家宣传机构,作为党的喉舌,以教育群众同时也为群众提供娱乐为目的的中国电视,组织体系有着明显的差异,也有着完全不同的节目制作理念。

这种差异必然强烈地影响到两国电视节目的不同特性与不同倾向。

美国是电视事业发展最早的国家之一,早在上个世纪二十年代已经开始实验性的无线电视播出。

由于成功地采用商业赞助和插播广告的经营方式,美国的广播事业与欧洲的情况不同,从一开始就显示出是一项赚钱的生意,因而行业竞争也一直十分激烈。

在商业广播公司的压力下,主管广播电视事业的美国联邦通讯委员会(FCC)在1941年7月首次批准商业电视台经营。

由于有运营多年的全国广播网的经验,美国的商业电视从一开始就采取了全国节目网络的概念,各地分属于不同业主的电视台通常加盟于一个全国电视网,在规定时间(主要是开机率高的一些重要时段)播出电视网的节目,由电视网付给加盟台播出费,而电视网则因节目有更多的观众而获取更多的广告收入。
