【学习目标】

1.知识目标：掌握下列重点单词和词组的意思及用法：journey, ferry,

subway, taxi, crowded, modern, farthest, best, fast, most, close, have the longest journey, by bus, the best way to, by bicycle, the most dangerous /comfortable/expensive /uncomfortable way, take the train to

2. 能力目标：能够听懂含有形容词最高级形式的对话以及对交通工具的描述。

3. 情感目标：我们可以采取不同的交通方式去工作、上学，但安全、经济也是我们必须考虑到的。

【教学重难点】:

1.重点句式：He lives farthest from the school, so he has the longest journey. It’s the best way to get to school. But it’s the most dangerous way.

2.难点：形容词的最高级形式及by+交通工具的用法。

[课前延伸]: 1课前朗读单词，让学生养成快速进入课堂的习惯。.根据音标读出单词并了解汉语意思，养成学生自主学习词汇的习惯，促使学生迅速进入学习状态。

3．a.取学生结对小组互查等形式来检查学生对词汇预习情况。

b.跟读录音进行正音（或让组员展示大家一起正音)。

【教学过程】

一、情境导入

教师可指着图片问学生：What can you see? 让学生进行抢答。

二、小听力（自主完成，合作释疑）

1. Read through the lists of words and have the students repeat them after you. Make sure they understand them all.

2.Listen to the quiz and match these words Box1 with the words in Box2.

3.Work in pairs. How do you go to school? With “by bicycle, by

bu s, by subway, by taxi, walk”.

三、大听力多层听

1. The first listening: 听Activity 4, 完成句子(以此来练习交通方式的表达)：

（一）对重点内容和疑难问题进行合作探究学习。

句中farthest 是______的最高级，在句中用作_______(形容词/副词)，其前的定冠词the可以省略。
