英国见闻(英文)

I went to the US for 11 days this winter vacation. Although we just had one day in London, I also had a good time.
We lived in a youth hostel on the first day. The English was very conservative, because they magnificent, once was Great Britain, has had the glorious history, therefore they regard as important the ancient thing extremely. The older the car or the house is the more valuable it will be. Until now you can also see the car of the 30 year’s running on London streets. Our hostel was an extremely big old house, had the foreign land flavor very much. Our room, a six beds’ room, is very big, the five girls that went to England together slept in the same room was also an interesting thing.
The next day, the tour guide took us saw a lot of interests. First we went to the London Bridge by car. We took lots of pictures there. Then we visited the Big Ben. It was the greatest building I’ve ever seen. We also saw the London Eye, unluckily, we didn’t have a chance to take it. Next, we went to a big park of the empress. Before going to the park we took pictures with a guard of the empress who rode a tall and big horse. I must tell you an interesting thing that when I was taking the photo with that soldier, the horse was restless, it suddenly turned to me when my friend was taking the picture. After that we went to the Buckingham Palace. It gave me a mysteriously feeling. After having a short break, we went to the Chinatown to have lunch. Then we visited the British Museum. Because we were going to catch the train, so we didn’t have much time. At about 2:30p.m. we went to the train station and finished the travel in London.
Now let me tell you my experience in Manchester.
We had ten days in Manchester. We’ve been to three museums, studied in school for two days, went shopping for five times, and of course we went to the Manchester United.
We first visited the York Castle Museum which was located in the town that near Manchester.
York Castle Museum is one of Britain's leading museums of everyday life. It shows how people used to live by displaying thousands of household objects and by recreating rooms, shops, streets - and even prison cells. The museum, which opened in 1938, was named after the former York Castle, which stood on the site.
The next museum we visited was mosi the museum of science and industry. We saw lots of interesting things about science, aerocraft, steam and others.
And we went to visited a museum about spinning. There we listened to an old woman who told us how to doubling thread with old spinner. And a young woman showed us how to use a modern machine to doubling thread. I’m not really interested in it, but I like the place that the museum located. It was a beautiful countryside which has fresh
air and green ground.
After telling so much about the museums I want to tell you something that we do in the school. The math is really easy than us of course. They were still learning about function. How about the English class? There are two kinds of English classes. One is easy the other is difficult. In the one that was difficult I was really out of my bearings. The teacher spoke so quickly that I can’t understand. There’s also a Chinese class once a week. It was really simple words they learnt. Such as ‘wo you ba’, ‘wo you ma’, as we were listening this class we really found the words they said both make us funny and annoying. And now I want to tell you something about the Manchester united. To tell you the truth I’m not interested in football. So while we were watching a game in the fifth evening I was really tired and wanted to sleep. But the football fans made lots of noisy, that’s the reason I couldn’t sleep well.。
