1. 项目简介

设计工程是在当下自主创新创业氛围中，融合了设计理念与工程思维的新兴学科。四年制设计工程本硕连读项目注重培养学生的创造力及设计流程的知识，同时让学生掌握广泛的基础工程与设计技能。本硕连读项目还融入了与沟通、商业和企业技能相关学科来增强学生的能力，并最大限度扩展学生新想法的影响力。通过不断发展的课题项目，学生有机会将课本上的知识转化为实际应用。自2015年10月迎来项目的第一批学生以来，学生规模也随着每年新生的入学不断地壮大。该项目由伦敦帝国理工学院的戴森设计工程学院负责。

Design Engineering is the fusion of design and engineering thinking within a culture of hands-on innovation and enterprises. The four-year MEng in design engineering enables students to develop a wide range of fundamental engineering and design skills, with a particular emphasis on creativity and design processes. Communication, business and enterprise

skills are also integrated into the programme, to empower our graduates and maximise the impact of their ideas. Project modules of increasing scale throughout the programme put students' knowledge into practice. The programme welcomed its first student cohort in October 2015 and has grown with each new intake. The course is run by the Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London.

2. 内容安排

Years one and two: All modules are compulsory and focus particularly on foundational engineering, computing, mathematics and human factors to give you r a solid scientific and design basis on which to build. These cover such subjects as mechanics, electronics for product and system design, computing, mechatronics and computer aided engineering.

Years three and four: There is a greater emphasis on advanced modules in design and engineering, enterprise and entrepreneurship skills. You will have a choice of optional modules, in areas such as design rationale, human factors, robotics and advanced engineering tools, allowing you to specialise in areas of interest. Students have the option of taking elective modules from other degrees at imperial.

Industrial Placement: The programme includes a six-month industrial placement for all 3rd year students. We have industry contacts with companies across UK with a growing number of international placement opportunities. Host placement opportunities are available in companies large and small across a wide variety of sectors.
