Unite 的用法

★ unite既可作及物动词也可作不及物动词，意为“联合；团结”。如：We should unite to fight poverty and disease.

我们应该团结起来为消除贫穷和疾病而斗争。

The more of the masses we unite with, the better.

我们联合起来的群众越多，就越有利。

The oceans do not so much divide the world as unite it.

与其说是海洋分割这个世界，不如说是统一这个世界。

We must work hard to unite all those who can be united. 我们要努力工作来团结一切可以团结的人。
