写说服性备忘录是要遵守写说服性商务信函的A-I-D-A方式。注意力,兴趣,欲望,行动。所用语气要自然。说服性备忘录分两种:
1 要求提供信息或帮助的特殊请求:注意这和前面索要信息的
肯定备忘录不同,收件人不把这视为正常工作的一部分。
2 推销服务或主意。
首先要用一句吸引注意力的句子开头,其次让读者对话题感兴趣,第三部唤起欲望,让读者就话题采取行动,最后就是以请求行动的呼吁结束。
语气要得当。自然的语气最好。注意上下级级别,个人关系以及工作关系。
说服性备忘录的题目根据你工作的性质和公司从事的业务类型不同而有所变化。

Subject: Advantages of Flexible Work Schedule

I need your help with a big problem that I have in the word processing centre.
About 80 percent of the centre’s employees are homemakers who find it difficult to work the 9 to 5 p.m. work schedule we keep. As a result, we have often had to lower our job requirement just to get enough employees to fill the jobs we have had available.
Now our competitors in the area, CopyRight Company and CopuText Industries, have adopted a flexible work schedule in their word processing centers. Their workers can for work as early as 6 a.m. or can stay as late as 7p.m. Also, they can work as little as 30 hours a week if they choose. Consequently, our competitors are stealing our employees who are homemakers.
Were we adopt a work schedule like theirs so that we could compete with them effectively, we could need to hire five more employees. We could do this without increasing the total number of hours worked a week. So, without increasing our labor costs, we could offer our employees greater freedom in choosing the hours they will work. Therefore, those homemakers who mow work for the center will be encouraged to stay on with us and other qualified homemakers will be encouraged to apply for a job with us.
Adopting these changes will cut out turnover rate. Your department will then enjoy a lower cost of hiring and training new employees.
