摘要:在跨文化交流日益频繁的今天,与重视幽默的西方国家之间成功的幽默交流显得至关重要。
教师的幽默感,可以赢得学生的亲切感和信任,可以获得学生的宽容和理解。
让学生在幽默和笑声中学习,课堂上学生的笑既是一种愉悦的享受,也是一种对知识理解的表露。
教师在教学活动中恰如其分的、比较幽默的语言,常常会引发阵阵笑声,这种幽默往往会比清晰的讲述更有吸引力,它会使学生在这种轻松的氛围中理解概念,更会激发学生对学习的热爱。
一.幽默能够让课堂教学活跃起来
现在的学生思想越来越丰富,而且在信息时代的今天,学生接触的知识有可能比教师多得多,作为新时代的教师,我们应该具备怎样的教师素养,才能打开学生的心灵之窗呢?我觉得教师必须具备很多的条件:我在这里讲的是教师的幽默感。
前苏联著名的教育家斯维特洛夫曾指出:“教育家最主要的、也是第一位的助手是幽默。
”作为一名英语教师,要把枯燥乏味的英语知识传授给学生,不仅需要有丰富的理论知识,还要有一门独特的本领:幽默。
也有人说“幽默感是一个好教师最优秀的品质之一。
幽默感具有多种功用,最明显的就是,它在快乐之中把教和学联在一起。
”记得一次英语课上,,我正在解释sleep的形、音、义时,碰巧一个学生由于天气闷热睡着了,并且打起了呼噜,学生当中立刻引起了一阵骚动。
我灵机一动,说:“He is making a very good example for us, isn’t he? He is losi ng himself in our English class. What about you?”学生们一片哗然,
那个睡觉者醒来后也脸红了起来,立即精神为之一振,投入到下面的学习中去了。
现在想来,有时候幽默真的可以起到事办功倍的效果。
课堂教学幽默的源泉,可以来自学生,也可以来自教师;可以来自学习内容本身,也可来自教学方法。
只要我们善于去挖掘,英语中的幽默无所不在。
但我们也应注意掌握分寸,态度要自然,举止要节制,要恰到好处,切忌讽刺、挖苦学生,带来一些消极的东西。
要不断积累幽默素材和妙语警句,以不断提高幽默技巧。
二、幽默可以激发学生学习英语的兴趣英语教学因囿于教学条件和教学时间,学生一般只局限于在课堂上听老师说、读,另外就只有英语课本了。
长期以来,学生为了应付考试,只是去死记硬背单词,背语法,学习效率不高,在这样的情况下学习英语的兴趣就没有多少了。
如何提高学生学习英语的兴趣,增强其求知欲,使它他们在愉快的氛围中掌握知识呢?这里我们就有必要借助于幽默。
幽默的老师学生喜欢,就自然而然的对你教学的科目产生兴趣。
在教学My family 一课上我先当了mother,因为我就是woman吗?然后我教father的时候我当了father,给自己填了个胡子,这时候学生们都乐起来了,整节课都在欢快的气氛中结束。
课后的时候,我会准备一些英语幽默故事,让学生在近距离的体会英美人们说话的风格,从而增加他们对英语语言的距离,让他们体会到英语中并不只是枯燥的单词,语法,在英语的大王国里,还有五颜六色的精彩,更重要的是,他们开始觉得英语其实并非是死板的东西,而是活生生的生动的语言。
据说一堂成功的英语课,要求教师精神饱满,激情飞扬,语言生动幽默。
教师风趣幽默的语言艺术往往会打破沉闷,活跃气氛,极大地增加学生学习的积
极性,提高教学效率。
富于幽默感的语言,生动形象,鲜明深刻,既令人发笑,又促人深思,从而能保持人的大脑高级神经活动的兴奋性,减少疲劳,消除紧张,活跃课堂气氛,增强学生的学习兴趣。
三.幽默能拉近师生间的距离
著名教育家赞可夫曾经说过:“我们要努力使学习充满无拘无束的气象,使学生和教师在课堂上都能够自由地呼吸。
如果不能
造成这样的教学气氛,那么任何一种教学方法都不可能发挥作用。
”据调查幽默的老师学生都喜欢。
而幽默有很多功能,最明显的是它能使学生富有生气和积极地注意它能在快乐之中把学生和老师联接在一起。
在一节英语课上一位学生把one hundred 读成了娃哈哈全班都笑了,而他是一个害羞的学生,我怕他从此更不愿回答问题了,我就没有把他的错当成笑话,我说很有创意,读音很相似,你是故意这样说让全班的气氛活跃起来的吧。
从那以后我们俩是成了很好的朋友。
这些在英语课堂当中的幽默无处不在,而在于你怎么用。
而我们要做到的也是师生间的距离,距离越近我们对学生的了解,学生对我们的信赖也会越近,这些能直接关系到一节课的成败,而我们的一些小小的幽默话语能让他们动起来,配合你的言语。
在二完小教书快有俩个学期了,总的说来,在几个班的教学之中,我还是比较受欢迎的。
学生有时候会找我聊天,聊聊他们的学习,他们的困惑,比如情感上的困惑,我也能够根据我所知道的心理学知识和阅历,给他们一定的指导,一言以蔽之,师生关系较融洽吧。
我自己觉得上课的幽默性及语言的夸张性功不可没。
幽默还不仅可以展示教师的人格魅力和创新能力,也
可使学生感到老师的人情之美和性格优点,从而缩短师生间的心理距离,达到“亲其师而信其道”的目的.
没有幽默感的老师,是一尊雕像;没有幽默的生活,则是一潭死水。
我们每一位教师都和理趣有机的结合起来。
使每一节课都充满笑声,充满和谐、愉悦的气氛,让每一位学生在愉快、轻松中学习,在与老师近距离中感受情感教学的真谛,真正让幽默艺术散发出熠熠光辉。
