1.情景引学
Step 1: Lead-in
We have been together for over two years. Do you remember what
he was like before? /in Grade One? What does he look like now?
Compare two or three students or teachers. Let students tell
something about their appearance or personality.
Write “ He was short in Grade OneBut. he is tall now.”
Today we learn a new sentences He used“ to be short. But he
is tall now . ”
2. 自主探学
Step 2: explain “ usedto be/do ” “He used to play computer
games every day. But now he study really hard.”
Let students describe their partner. Please use“ used to do /be
”Step 3: Deal with activity 1a
Turn to p25, let’ s look1aat.Please write down the words as many
as possible. if you want to know others’ appearance or personality, we can ask:“ What does he look like?/ What’ s he like?”

(1) 本句是 used to do 的反意疑问句。used to do 的反意疑问句的附加疑问
句部分要使用didn't 。如:

(2)used to 是固定搭配,意为“以前经常;过去常常”
。如:
She used to be quiet. 他过去很文静。
used to to不定式,后跟原形,used to do st
be used to doing to介,后跟名, be used to doing s
stth.
be used to do sth.被用于做某事,是被不定式表示目的用于多
种。
