I am going to describe my room that I live in. It’s a medium-sized room with one large French window that overlooks the fountain in the communal garden. Standing beside the window and watching children playing around the fountain is a kind of fun in my everyday life.
I had the room decorated when I moved in. I chose light blue paint to make it light and increase the feeling of space. What’s more, it’s also my favorite color that represents the ocean and the sky. Whenever I stay in the room, I feel quite relaxed and cozy.

Describe the room or house (flat) where you live
You should say:
where it is? how does it look like? what you do in it usually?
and explain what you like or dislike about it.
You will have to talk about the topic for 1 to 2 minutes. You have one minute to think about what you’re going to say. You can make some notes to help you if you wish.
I like the feeling of space so there’s no unnecessary furniture – just a sofa, a small wardrobe, a bookshelf, and a computer desk. I also have two trunks that I use for storage purposes, but they also provide extra seating when I have lots of visitors. On the wall, there is an Indian scene with lots of people and an elephant, preparing for a long journey. I love it because it makes me think of traveling. It’s probably my favorite possession. Just because of this picture, I really make a journey to India last autumn. All what I experienced there was so exciting and unforgettable.
