因此我们可以将这部分的内容与课文前的What do you know about…? 中的照片人物描述结合起来,作为整个单元的导入部分。

(二)教学目标1. 知识目标复习所学过的描述人物外貌性格的词汇和表达方式。

2. 能力目标提高学生对人物特征的观察能力和描述人物的语言表达能力。

3. 情感目标帮助学生进理解人物的穿着打扮可以帮助判断人物的职业和性格。

(三)教学方法以复习旧词汇入手,采用形式多样的活动,加强学生运用语言知识描述人物的能力,并通过相应的任务,进一步操练相关词汇和句型。

二、教学设计(Teaching Designs)[链接1](说明:对课文入的处理)Building up the description of a character1.高一牛津教材S1A中学生已学过了Care for hair 这篇文章,所以该节课的引入将从复习所学的关于脸型、发型等的词汇入手,让学生的认识有个循序渐进的过程。

2.引入eyebrows, eyelashes 等新词汇,并提供形容词thick, thin, long, short,pointed, flat, wide, …,学生可进行自由组合,组成例如 thick eyebrows,a thin pointed nose, thick/thin lips 等表达方式。

3.将scar,mole,pimple,freckle,wrinkle等列入不受欢迎的面部特征,并让学生根据所提供的词义或提示,猜出这些生词的意思。

4.用一个名为”composite sketch”的网上小游戏,来让学生巩固所学的词汇和表达方式。
