其目的和任务是培养学生英语口头表达和交往能力,使学生能就日常生活中的一般情景进行恰当、流利的交谈,能就所听材料或熟悉题材进行对话、讨论等连贯性发言。
二、教学基本要求1.本课程的目的、任务通过大量的口语练习和实践,在本课程结束时,学生能就日常生活中的一般情景进行恰当的交谈,能就社会生活中的一般话题进行连贯的发言,作3-5分钟的连贯性即席讲话,表达正确、思路清楚,语音语调正确,自然,无重大语法错误。
能用英语就所熟悉的题材进行较长时间(15-20分钟左右)的专题讨论发言。
要求能确切表达思想,语音语法基本正确,语言基本得体。
2.本课程的教学要求本课程教学安排为一学年,分两个学期。
对学生在各个学期的口语能力具体要求如下:通过第一学期考试的学生能运用简单的日常英语进行对话,并就所学课文回答问题,复述所学课文,做到语音、语调、语法基本正确。
学生应能就熟悉的材料经一定的准备后作简短的连贯性讲话;能就一般日常生活题材进行简单会话。
通过第二学期考试的学生能经一定准备后就一般日常生活和社会生活题材进行简短的连贯性讲话和交谈;就熟悉的题材略作准备后作简短的连贯性即席讲话;能就日常生活、社会生活问题同英语国家人士交谈;学生应能比较准确地表达思想。
