Mona Lisa is a 16th
century portrait painted in oil on a poplar panel by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci during the Italian Renaissance.

I love this painting because not only it is one of the most important paintings ever created, but also the painting reflects the humanism. Humanism is a big progress at that time. Da Vinci put emphasis on the corner of the woman's lips and other subtle expressions, which makes the painting more mysterious.
