How are you recently? I am doing fine in my college. College life is treating me well. There are something that I want to share with you.

I want to introduce you to a unique Chinese culture. This unique Chinese culture is paper cutting. Chinese paper-cut is a kind of folk art that uses scissors or knives to cut and carve patterns on paper, which is used to decorate life or cooperate with other folk activities. In China, paper-cut has a broad mass base, blending in the social life of people of all ethnic groups, and is an important part of various folk activities. Its continuous visual image and modeling format contain rich cultural and historical information and express the public's social cognition, moral concept, practical experience, life ideal and aesthetic interest. It has multiple social values such as cognition, enlightenment, expression, lyric, entertainment and communication.

Cultural exchange is an important condition for the progress of world culture, and also an internal requirement for promoting cultural globalization and diversity. Cultural exchange is conducive to enhancing friendship and mutual understanding among countries and people, developing friendly and cooperative relations with people around the world, promoting world peace and development, building a harmonious world, promoting Chinese culture to the world, expanding the international attraction and influence of Chinese culture, improving China's cultural competitiveness, and enhancing China's comprehensive country power. In modern times, with the deepening of economic globalization and regional collectivization, the role of cultural soft power is becoming more and more prominent, and its role in international competitiveness is increasingly prominent. Therefore, strengthening cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries has become an indispensable part of China's modernization construction, and both sides benefit from each other.

Because of geographical and historical factors, different regions will produce different cultural differences. An excellent foreign language learner is not only a user of language work, but also a receiver of another culture. So I want to know something about western culture. Understanding western culture can not only help me master English grammar better, improve the accuracy of English expression, but also improve my communication ability.
